We had a wonderful stay at the MASD. We were lucky enough to have a room facing the sea and the beach, and waking up to that view each morning was just beautiful. Our son had an adjoining room which worked perfectly.
The room itself was very modern and finished to an excellent standard. Everything felt high quality and well thought through. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen area was very well equipped with plenty of useful items, which made the stay even easier and more relaxing.
The location is fantastic, a lovely area with great walks along the seafront, and everything feels easily accessible. The indoor pool area was amazing and a real highlight of our stay, very warm and nicely kept. Very hard to find in this area. There are also spa facilities which looked very nice, although we didn’t use them this time. The outdoor pool also looked lovely, but as it was winter and out of season, we didn’t use it.

All of the staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful throughout our stay.

Our only complaint was that the corridor smelt of cigarette smoke from other guests, as smoking was allowed on the balconies. Aside from that, everything was excellent.

I use the Masd as a short stop-over prior to my annual cruise. It is is close to the beach and besides its own there are a few bars and restaurants not too far away

We had apartment with connecting rooms and both had outside patios. The rooms were a great size, fresh and clean. There were a few places to eat nearby but a good walk to nearest shop. Would I stay here again yes but if staying longer would probably need to rent a car.

This hotel is on the flight path of the Barcelona International airport. There was an incoming flight every 90 seconds the day we were at the hotel. The flights were on their final descent and you could read the name of the airline as the planes few overhead. This lasted for hours. Less than enjoyable.

One night stay in adjoining apartments, great location for airport and beach. Staff are helpful and friendly.

The hotel itself is very outdated, and dirty. Hairs in bed, toilets and showers look like they have never been washed. Floors dusty and sticky. Curtains and bedsheets stained.

Definitely very poor value, you are only paying for the location.

This property is located right next to the beach. The hotel has great location and access to the beach. The restaurant on site is helpful as there isn’t really shopping within a short walking distance. It is a 45min bus ride into town so keep that in mind if you want to see the sights.

I like the property being very close to the beach and several restaurants nearby that we can walk to.

I would have prefer if there is a market nearby with groceries option, but it is a gas station with limited food/drinks.

We rented a two bedroom apartment so I thought we would have two separate bedrooms + a living room/kitchen so 3 rooms total. Yet we instead got a combined living room/kitchen with a bed as a 2nd bedroom so 2 rooms total.

As it is located in the Medina, it was very difficult to find. A street person guided us there and charged $20.00 USD for about 10 minutes of his time. Had a great massage and treatment at the spa. Room was comfortable and so was the bed. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

The suite was amazing with outdoor patio for our toddler and climatizas pool was great. It would have been nice to know we were across the road from reception to park there in the first case instead of dragging suitcases everywhere.

As per other comments the rooms were a bit dated but nothing that’s a nonnegotiable. I did feel the floors could have been cleaned better. Overall an excellent stay we would return. And 10mins from the airport can’t be beat.

The apartment we had was very spacious and perfect for a family of 4. The room was a little dated, the mirrored door had a large crack in it and the sealant on the shower needed replacing however it was very clean and well equipped. Breakfast was plentiful and had a good variety. The location was fantastic 1 minute to the beautiful beach and a twenty minute stroll to the centre of fown. The kids enjoyed the covered pool although some of the jacuzzi jets weren’t working. The drinks in reception were overpriced but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The room was very spacious with a little living room and a small functional kitchen. The property is protected with gates and individual rooms with shutters (excellent against sunlight). The employees were trilingual (at least) and very kind.

On the down side, the Wi-Fi was unstable (when available) and the telephone in the room wasn't working.

We didn’t give a perfect score because the floors could have been swept and mopped but we only stayed overnight, so we weren’t too bothered. It’s offseason so plenty of free street parking right next to hotel. Otherwise onsite fee parking is available thru the hotel. Overall good stay.

Lovely family get away

Overall the hotel was great we were near the reception overlooking the pool with a sea view, can’t fault that at all. The beds were so comfy and the showers were fabulous. My only niggles were the cups were all dirty not been clean thoroughly everyone had tea/coffee stains. Also I went to reception to ask them to replace the kettle as it was not turning off and the button was very hot when trying to turn it off and enquired about an upgrade of rooms, was advised someone would let me know about the upgrade as in price etc and that someone will replace the kettle. No replacement kettle and no communication about an upgrade so was a little disappointed with that felt I’d been ignored. BUT having said that my husband and I loved it anyway and are going to come back either next year or year after that so the positives definitely outweighed the negatives. The staff were all friendly both in the hotel and restaurant.
