If it weren’t for the outstanding front desk staff — and especially Fern — I would have checked out early and moved to another hotel. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made a world of difference during my stay. Fern went above and beyond to assist me and made me feel like a valued guest, even when the situation became unnecessarily stressful.

Unfortunately, my stay was significantly impacted by the way an issue was handled by the operations manager during Songkran. Rather than resolving the matter with empathy or professionalism, their attitude came across as dismissive and unhelpful. It left me feeling frustrated and unwelcome, which is not what anyone wants while traveling — especially during a holiday.

This was the first hotel I ever stayed at when I visited Thailand. I've stayed here 2 more times since. The staff are great and it's within walking distance of anything you might need. There's literally a convenient mart right next door for anything you need. Its a tourist area of Bangkok.

I will say that for that price it is reasonable.

However, it would be good if we were informed that the swimming pool is under renovation.

The amenities are upon request is. Hairdryer, toothbrush and toothpaste are not in the room, have to request.

Internet works intermittently. When asked to have it fixed nothing changed but they told me it was fixed. I believe the person who tried to fix it also tried to hack my account. I could not trust them so left a day early and they refused to refund for the day.

The hotel has a Family Mart just right at its downstairs. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel also provides free shuttle service to transport guests to Nana BTS station.

The room is a little old and lighting is quite dull. I am happy to have a bath tub. Multiple choice of TV channels. Unfortunately swimming pool is under repair. You will need to go to nearby Citrus Hotel which is under the same management if you wish to swim. Walking from hotel to Sukhumvit main road is quite a distance especially under the hot sun in mid day. Overall experience is quite pleasant.

The stay was great at the staff were very friendly. However, the hotel is not very well maintained, but never the less, is value for money and it was a comfortable stay. Tuktuk services to NANA BTS was available, but it is a bit far to walk from NANA BTS. There is a family mart directly below the hotel,which was convenient.

The positives of this hotel are that whilst a little noisy it is primo location. Halfway down Soi 13 at the road that runs to Soi 11, so many bars and restaurants within walking distance. Staff here are nice, don't really seem too fussed by anything. Bed is really comfy. The negatives, it's a dump! I have never in over 30 years of traveling seen a worse swimming pool that is apparently open for business, tiles broken and missing, green slime on the tiles, it's not completely full. The steps leading to pool are falling apart. The gym is pretty gross, old machines with rust and various stains. The room I was in cost only $43 aud per night and it is quite OK for that price, cleaned everyday, the main issue I have is there is just no maintenance, things are falling off the walls, everything is loose and leaking. They have just let it go to ruin, but as I said it is only $43 per night. But in saying that The Compass Hospitality Group own this and they should be ashamed! I have attached their promo from website. Just as I posted this, the cleaner and another fella wearing a mask and carrying a cannister came to do pest control 🤔

Great service. Room is large and well set up. Location is very convenient. However the room wasn’t so clean upon check in. The pool is pretty sad looking. And the fitness room had broken equipment. I would stay here again despite these few drawbacks because the service was excellent and the room quite spacious. As well as being excellent value. The price I booked for was very reasonable.

We arrived early and the hotel gave us a room after 15mins and the second room at 1.30pm. The rooms were clean and rather spacious. The service was good and every staff were polite. One thing the hotel could consider is to change to new sets of towels as some were rather well worn and slightly tattered along the edges. Otherwise, we had a very pleasant and comfortable stay

Close to cafes, restaurants, shops, and reputable Thai traditional massage spas. Staff was very responsive, friendly and helpful. There's a complimentary tuk tuk that will take you to the BTS. They were also willing to take me to my daughter's hotel a couple blocks away. Only negatives were that the walls, carpets, tile, etc are very worn down and the bed was hard, but this is typical of affordable hotels in big cities in Southeast Asia. Definitely a good deal.

Hotel is hidden ay the back alley, some walking distance away from BTS but surrounding has cafes and restaurants etc. Room is a little dated but has most of the things you need. Toothbrush, hair dryer, in room slippers etc could have been provided to better the experience. Service staffs are friendly and has tuk tuk out of hotel on certain days. Loves the tub and standing shower too, water heater is stable. There's a blackout for few hours, not always i hope.

Since most of the reviews were good and rating was above 8 we decided to book this place, room is spacious and has good features, but thats about it, the sink was clogged we couldnt wash our face or hand , there was a lizard running around the room and I finally caught it, and the bath water was almost orange, it was not really well maintained, maybe when this place was new it was a good hotel, but really dont recommend this place. They gave us another room after awhile but still not very clean (new room didnt have a lizard). Close to the main street.

Finally at the 3rd date,I've changed my room to real deluxe same as what ive booked via hotels.com (Same size,Same photos)
Extremely not advised to swimming as the water was not running(you can see the water was flated and No filtering).
Most of the time:
No Towels stand by
No one trashing for 2 days from the pool area
No matainence for the pool,broken tiles
Gym is fine but I didnt see someone cleaning the gym area.

Free Shuttle - some days!

Long walk from Sukhumvit. I thought to myself, tomorrow I’ll take the free shuttle to Nana and that only have to walk going back. At the hotel I found out the shuttle runs Thur - Mon. Seriously? So I guess you aren’t supposed to stay there on Tue & Wed.

On the 1st day, we couldn't sleep due to the air conditioning vent was noisy and they don't have a maintenance to repair even from their subsidiaries of Citrus Hotel. We we given another room the next day. The The housekeeping staffs should have a consistency of checklist after cleaning the room. Our bathroom mat , hand towels and shower gel & shampoo was not replenished . It would be great to have a hair dryer for guests to use. The water heater temperature seems to be irregular and goes too hot to cold. The shuttle service was only made available from 10am to 7pm on Thursday to Monday whereas on Tuesday & Wednesday it is due to the driver rest day off. I think they should collaborate co-joint with Citrus Hotel Shuttle Services since it is just 1 km away to provide these rides to their hotel guests since hotel locations it's about 10 mins walk to Nana BTS. Overall the hotel staffs are friendly and helpful.

This is my home away from home..I have been staying at this Hotel for several years now,,and whilst it's starting to look a little tired now,it is always clean and comfortable. The ataff go out of their way,to ensure your happiness, and are more than willing to assist in any way possible..This Hotel is situated in a great area,with many bars,Restaurants and Shopping Centers/areas..The Hotel provide a free Tuk Tuk to the main Rd & Nana Railway Station. There is a 24 hr Supermarket at the front of the Hotel,and a Laundry 2 doors up..I have nothing negative to say about this Hotel..

This is great Hotel,in a great location..Whilst I miss the Hotel Restaurant,it's great to have a 24hr Supermarket in it's place..Staff are very helpful and friendly..There is a free Tuk Tuk to the main Rd,and the many Bars,Shopping,& Restaurants nearby..I believe the Hotel will be undergoing major renovations in the 1st half of 2019.The rooms and bathrooms are very large, in comparison to a lot of other Hotels in Thailand..Tea,Coffee,2 x Bottled Water,Shampoo, Conditioner, & bath Gel are provided free of charge daily..A Fridge/Freezer is in each room..The rooftop Pool is kept very clean at all times,although the floor of the pool needs attention..All rooms also have a separate Bath & Shower..I can't speak more highly of this Hotel & Staff..

I love staying at this Hotel,as unlike most in Bangkok,the rooms are very big & clean,the staff are always pleasant & helpful..The provide a free Tuk Tuk to the main Rd & Nano Station unless it's in for maintenance. Close to night markets,dept stores supermarkets,night life,& laundry next door.There is a 24 hr convenience store out the front, and a very well maintained & clean pool on the rooftop,with an indoor gym.

Worst wifi in BKK and shower broken

This could be a really nice place if they took better care of it. It is in a good location and has friendly staff. The room has space and is clean.

But I have stayed in many hotels in the Sukhumvit area and this one had the worst and slowest wifi ever. It mostly did not work at all or took 10+ minutes to load a page. I have actually stayed in a hostel in the area that had better wifi. Also the shower leaked like crazy and continually had water coming out of both the rain shower head (very cold) and the wall shower head (hot). I reported it and they came and fixed one leak but not the major one. I doubt I will stay here again, even though the room was clean and otherwise okay. It would be so easy to upgrade their wifi and take care of basic maintenance, but management choses not to do so.

My room was very quiet, clean, and tidy. Helpful and friendly staff. Convenient location. Super easy to get taxi or tuk-tuk right outside the lobby. Easy walking distance from anything that you could want. Convenience store directly next door.

IMHO, Swimming pool area is in need of a few upgrades, and a thorough clean-up and make-over.

Very good value - would stay here again, for sure.

Position, position, position.... and that’s it!

Spent 5 nights here. The impressive photos made me choose this over others in the price range but very old photos used to sell this place. The cafe and breakfast buffet featured doesn’t exist! It’s a very small mini mart now. Very convenient but low on selection. ALL the gym equipment is faulty and only one cable worked on the weights set. The pool has thick white scum around the sides. Shower water temperature couldn’t be moderated - at all -either boiling hot or cold so baths were more favoured. Only a handful of English speaking channels and reception was very sketchy, especially the movie channels. DVD player didn’t work. Air con temp was hard to moderate, also. Bed was rock hard, pillows were way to big. Could here people in the next room opening and closing cupboards and also talking in the corridor. In summary, there isn’t much positive to talk off, apart from its short stroll to all excitement and amenities in Nana.

Good rooms, comfy beds, real value for money.

I stayed for a week in this hotel within a month of its opening, about 10 years ago. I was delighted at the standard of the hotel and the service for the money paid. I returned many times over the following 5 years and was always pleased with the experience. My latest stay was after a further 5 years. Obviously, over time things deteriorate, however the very good rooms here have held up well, as have most of the public areas. The swimming pool is a bit the worse for wear. Management has now embraced the 'check-inn' brand and the level of service has adjusted accordingly. However, I think my room rate was lower than 10 years ago, so no complaints about the value. Beds are comfortable, air-con is efficient. Soi 13 which has little going for it, was under repair during our stay. Temporary problem. The adjacent Soi 11 has lots of bars and restaurants.

Excellent hotel great value for money

Excellent hotel, this was my third time of staying there and my fourth is coming up shortly and no doubt I will be coming back again. The rooms are excellent, spacious and comfortable. So rare to find a seperate bath and shower in hotels with out compensating on size. Great connections to both mrt and sky train which means all the tourist attractions are within easy reach. lots of places to eat and drink less than five minutes walk away to suit any taste

Mediocre hotel. Staff isn't the most helpful. The tuk tuk they say takes you for free to sukhumvit road always \"left ten min ago\" and it's only available from 11 to 6 pm or so, and who knows every how often. Room was big as well as bathroom, but very dark. Shower had good pressure and temperature. Inconsistent with towels. One day I had hand towels the next day I didn't. Location was good, albeit deep into one of the alley ways. Not sure I would stay here again.

Good experience

Staff was nice and helpful. Room was in good condition, comfortable bed, bathroom with all necessary. There was a kettle to make some tea or coffee. Maybe the hotel needs a huge 'spring' cleaning but it was overally clean and well maintained. The area is quite touristic so there were quite many bars and restaurants full of European/American. It's a walking distance to a Asok station, app 10 mins.
