The hotel was good for the price. It has a restaurant inside so it makes it convenient to eat while you’re there. They offer a free breakfast which was tasty. The pool was great for the kids. However, inside the room they did not offer a refrigerator or microwave. They should really consider putting some in. The parking lot had ample space and it has security. Over all a good experience.

El Camino is a very nice place to stay in Reynosa. The staff are all very friendly and professional and helpful. The grounds are very well maintained and clean. Room is cleaned immaculately everyday with fresh towels and linens. The hotel has a lovely courtyard with a pool and fountain as well as a great gym. Excellent air conditioning. Parking is very convenient, covered and privately maintained at all times. Very safe. There is a restaurant attached that offers breakfast daily, but i did not use during my stay. My room had a very nice working refrigerator with freezer, as well as a nice microwave and coffeemaker. El Camino is a nice pleasant oasis to stay while visiting the beautiful city of Reynosa and is in a great central location with access close to many ammenities

I have stayed here twice now and both times it has been a wonderful experience. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard, and the rooms are clean, quiet, and spacious, with comfortable beds. The individuals who work there are very friendly and helpful, and both times they called a taxi to take me to the airport the next morning at my request. There is also a place immediately outside the hotel that serves delicious tacos -- perfect if you arrive later in the evening -- and a 7-11 down the street!

Toilets clogged, dead roach Bodies, old coffee in coffee pot. Sink had no water pressure. Continental breakfast was ehh. This hotel has 4 ballrooms for events, keep in mind if you want quiet, this is not the spot for you. Service was ok, that's why i hate them 3 🌟

The Hotel overall was very nice. But they fail in some of the details. Once I got into the room, I was able to hear the outside noise as if there was no wall between the outside and the inside. Luckily, the people's noise stopped before 9 PM. The bathroom sink did not have water. The Wi-Fi signal was very weak and slow, due to the fact that my room was at the end of the hotel. Everything else was just perfect.

The service of this hotel has gotten worse. I went to have a haircut done today .When i returned to the room ,the towels were taken by the housekeeper even before my scheduled checkout .I was planning to take a shower .I informed the Receptionist about it ,but she didnt care .She was pouting all the time and was unhappy when I interrupted her gossiping with another hotel worker . im a frequent guest here . there were a couple of times where the housekeeper will knock one or two times ,then just barged into the room .One time i was in the bathroom and another time i was still asleep . Seems some employees are acting like with gang members attitude . There were great Receptionists and housekeepers in the past ,but they have quit already .On the upside ,restaurant servers are great employees . Theyre very well mannered and do their job efficiently . BTW, they only provide one towel ,one soap for two guests . Its been going on now for several months . I dont think ,Ill be back .Ill do my business elsewhere!

We were so impressed with Hotel El Camino that we extended our stay by an extra 5 nights. If you are up to it you can easily walk to the Reynosa-Hidalgo International Bridge and venture into Texas or take a bus. There are 2 big supermarkets close by and any number of food eateries in close walking distance. The staff are fantastic and nothing was a problem even with our extremely limited spanish.

llegamos y todo se veia bien. Una vez que entramos al cuarto, estaba muy sencillo para el precio. Aparte el baño estaba muy feo, mas la regadera y coladera. Mis hijos ni quisieron bañarse ahi por lo mismo. Y al despertar, ya nos ibamos y estabamos moviendo las sabanas para ver si no nos faltaba nada y vimos que la primer sabana estaba super manchada como de popo seca. fue horrible pero ya nos ibamos asi que pues solo la dejamos en el piso. Mala experiencia.

The clerk lady never brought us the towels and mats we needed. I had to ask 2 times and she still didn't have them. Everything is else was great. The food and staff were awesome except for that lady working in the evening.

Our suite was very spacious and well equipped. Cleqnliness was good, shower/tub could use upkeep. Service was good at check-in as well as outdoor security. Room was hot upon arrival, nothing the mini-split couldn't resolve within 30 mins or so. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast, it appeared to be well stocked and kept (lots of people, it was Dia de las Madres). We also didn't take advantage of the pool or patio area. I would return here.

I love booking here. I’m from McAllen and I visit my girlfriend often, we like to book here because it’s close to everything (restaurants, parks, etc). The ONLY thing that sucks is that there is no mini refrigerator. But other than that it’s the hotel I like to book when I visit.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, especially when you are coming from Monterrey. The breakfast is decent with yogart, egg, sausage, fruit and steam veggie. The parking lot is hugh. The pool looked good but it was closed during the pandemic. Check-in, check-out was swift. There is a 7-Eleven across the side street half-a-minute away in case you need something.

Our booking came with the Continental breakfast, but when you show the ticket given up front by the hotel reception the waiter looses intertest on your table not bring any of the correct breakfast and bring thing one at time and would not come back until called upon then wouldn't bring anything for long time so we got tired of asking so we never got a complete Continental breakfast we were there for four days use the tickets first two morning we realize we were not getting what we asked for unless we we're paying breakfast customer, then when we did payed we we're over charge we gave up on the restaurant part.
