Awesome for the price!

Was a great stay, all the employees are very accommodating, nice and bilingual. Rooms are upscale motel but nice and clean w free water and cleaning service every day! CAnt beat that doe the price you pay plus free breakfast!

What’s not to like?

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were helpful and friendly. It’s convenient location so close to the airport made a big difference to us as we were only in Valencia for the weekend and it was easy to find in the dark!

First of all, it’s a motel so don’t have high hopes.
Second place, the location: next to the highway so you can literally hear all the cars going.
Then the actual place looks like it’s forgotten in time, old appliances and an old old design. Not vintage, just old and rusty.
The breakfast was awful as well, not too much to choose from.
Also, last but not least, the pool was full of leaves, impossible to have a swim.
All in all it was a terrible experience which I would not recommend to anyone.

What's really good about La Carreta is the way each room is set up like a standalone villa, each with its own dedicated under-cover parking area. So we were able to park our car in the shade while we unloaded our luggage.
Unfortunately, the room we were allocated had a faulty air conditioner. After several attempt to fix it, they allocated us another room. The A/C in that room woerked fine, allowing us to have a good night's sleep.
Breakfast consisted of a buffet with trays of scrambled eggs, ham, and sausages. We were a little dismayed that these trays were uncovered, allowing the eggs to dry out and also allowing flies to settle on the food. Other food items included croissants, bread, jam, cereal, fruit juice, and coffee. Generally quite adequate.

Very friendly staff and a clean and comfortable room. Hotel itself a bit \"tired\" - terrace outside bar area would have benefitted from being swept and washed down. Restaurant food was disappointing. Did not match up to website claims. That said it was a more than adequate place to stay after a long day driving.

Clean and comfortable hotel with lovely staff.

The staff here are very welcoming and can’t do enough for you. Whilst the rooms are fairly basis the place was very clean.

We used the tennis court and the gym which were really good.

Free WiFi throughout and the pool area was good. Would recommend the fillet steak, it was great.

You are situated right next to a motorway and a petrol station, so not much to do in the local area but we drove 20-25 mins to Valencia and had a lovely day there including the football stadium tour.

The staff were great and the room very basic. It served a purpose as we just needed a sleep stop on the way to our next destination. FOOD at restaurant was good and convenient after driving for 8 hours. Room was smelly and walls thin. Left early next morning after a erythropoietin nice breakfast included.

I stay here for the odd night either side of my villa stay with friends for the racing. It's the closest hotel to Ricardo Tormo Circuit & the rooms are like separate flats. It's like a little village.

Visited the area purely for MotoGP. Hotel was close enough to walk in about 15/20 minutes. Also if you needed to pick up tickets for the track the accreditation centre is really close. Hotel rooms are separate from the main building and unfortunately the weather was very wet when we stayed, the room we had was comfortable and quiet and had a good heater in the bathroom for drying our close. Meals in the restaurant were limited. Breakfast was good with good buffet choice available. Bar staff could be more friendly. Overall our stay was excellent

A good hotel in Valencia

La Carreta is a very good hotel that is easy to find since it is right on the highway heading from Valencia to Madrid. I have stayed here many times during the last 20 years. Every unit has a parking space just for that unit.

Very easy to find and great for the race circuit, it is more like a holiday village, with accommodation in blocks of I think 4 we had an upstairs room which was clean and comfy, there was a patio area outside with a private parking spot underneath. The room although clean was a bit tired, however it was functional with nice fresh bedding. The restaurant was closed due to a wedding so can't comment on that so we ate outside being served from the bar, the menu was ok but limited. The prices were reasonable apart from the cider 12 euros for a litre bottle so stuck with the beer! Only a 20 minute drive into Valencia so not to bad. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful although he didn't know the restaurant was closed, I found the younger staff were ok but not as helpful has the older ones or maybe I expect to much. To sum up I would stay again especially if visiting the race track.

Wi-fi was not great reception only in lobby!?! 'Continental' breakfast include eggs its staple food for us however we had to pay. Plus, taxi to the city costs 20 euros one way and it sure adds up. Staff were really helpful but they did not speak english only 1 person did and her worked in morning - frustrating!

We had an overnight stay on our journey from Portugal to France. The hotel was excellently located next to the Auto-route but we did not hear any traffic. Food was good. Reception was excellent and English was spoken when help was required with my poor spanish. Would certainly stay there again.

Good hotel for La Tomatina

Hotel was in an excellent location for visiting La Tomatina in Bunol and was reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and allowed us to have a late checkout as well as changing our room due to noisy neighbours.

The only downside was a very noisy air conditioning unit!

Stayed two nights, as we had planned a trip to Valencia for one of the days, loved the fact that you stayed in your own little apartment behind the motel, with a lovely patio area. Room very clean with toiletries.
Evening meal good and varied menu, this place gets very busy on a evening and recommend you reserve a table.
Breakfast included in the cost and they did a great continental breakfast including toast.
All the staff including the cleaners were lovely and although some did not speak alot of English, we muddled by and they always had a smile on their face.
The only bad review I have is the pool area, which lacked any sunloungers and the pool was dirty with green algae around the tiles. Such a shame as the garden area looks so pretty. Their is a racing circuit very close by but we were not disturbed by any noise from it at all.
Motel is easy to find and only took us 20 mins to drive to Valencia from there.

Room was ok even if it was up stairs. But the evening meal was terrible. We asked about paola and yes it was available. What came out was reheated rubbish. We really should have sent it back! We both were sick the next day.The waiter tried to overcharge us. The hotel is not near the city at all. I booked it because of good reviews. I cansee no value here at all

Very nice hotel with Spanish countryside style

We adore this hotel because its countryside Spanish style and decoration. The location is perfect to get in from the highway. The parking is huge and individual. It's just under its room. Very convenient to load and reload luggage.

Pretty nice hotel to stay at. It has a Spanish hacienda charm. Really cheap for what you get (and I'd consider myself picky). Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Offered a pool for those interested in a swim after a long drive (we definitely needed it... we were driving between Granada and Barcelona). Basic breakfast. Would recommend again.

OK place as an overnight stopover

Very good value for money but this place is quite basic and is not close to anything else. We used it as an overnight stopover when driving from Southern Spain to Barcelona. Close to main roads and it does have a restaurant and swimming pool. Food in the evening was good although breakfast was very basic (nothing hot) but plenty of it. Never used the pool but it looked clean although quite small. Room was basic but it was clean and had beds and clean bathroom.

Für alle, die die Rennstrecke besuchen, ist das Hotel ideal gelegen; es sind tatsächlich nur drei Autominuten entfernt. Die Tankstelle befindet sich direkt daneben. Für alle anderen sehe ich keinen Grund, dieses Hotel zu besuchen.

Das Frühstück muss komplett überarbeitet werden – und damit meine ich alles!

Es war Teil einer Beruflichen Reise. Ich wollte erst das Hotel für die ganze Woche buchen, aber dass war nicht möglich. So habe nur eine Nacht dort verbracht. Ich hab sehr lecker und günstig zu Abend gegessen und bin im Pool geschwommen von dem man den Sonnenuntergang in den Bergen sehen kann.

J’aurai souhaité que les boissons soient servis à la piscine au lieu de se déplacer à l’intérieur et aussi ça manque de l’animation , pas de musique , pas d’animation c’est bien dommage . He pagado 74€ por noche en una habitación individual. Es un hotel viejo con un mantenimiento justito. El frigorífico de mi habitación no funcionaba, el suelo no estaba del todo limpio, la mesa y sillas de la terraza estaban muy muy sucias.
Incluye un desayuno que es muy malo. Tan malo que el segundo día preferí comer algo fuera del hotel a pesar de tenerlo incluido.

Tener la plaza de aparcamiento prácticamente incorporada a la habitación, genial. Pero por lo que hace a mantenimiento se queda en muy mala posición.
Habitación con muy mala olor (intentan disimularlo con ambientador), una humedad brutal con aparato de A/C bloqueado e inoperante, limpieza insuficiente (el suelo no ha visto una mopa en mucho tiempo...) Eso si, el personal de recepción y restaurante muy amable

Le ménage n'était pas fait en arrivant vers 16h30, nous avons pu attendre à la piscine en eaux troubles... Le lieu est sympa bien que à côté de l'autoroute et du train qui ne sont pas gênant, mais il a l'air à l'abandon. Le ménage est limite (chocolat collé sur porte du réfrigérateur .... ) et pour le petit déjeuner il faut se lever tôt si vous voulez éviter l'embouteillage. Pas de transat autour de la piscine, pas de parasol sur la terrasse pour le petit-déjeuner .....

Un hôtel original composé de blocs de 8 chambres (2 par face et en alternance 2 en rez-de-chaussée et 2 à l'étage).
Nous étions à l'étage, donc avec une terrasse très appréciable dans cette région au climat doux voire chaud. La disposition des blocs fait que vous n'avez pas de vis-à-vis. Le jardin est agréable et la piscine grande. En plus, elle était déserte, et malgré une fermeture à 18 heures, nous avons pu nous baigner seuls... dans une eau presque à température ambiante :) Clim dans la chambre, restaurant très correct, tout comme les prix. Petit déj à volonté et correct. Vraiment un excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Valencia (Hafen)ist in 15 Autominuten auch leicht erreichbar.
Der Service, Empfang und Bedienung ist sehr gut.

Mejorable

Es de fácil acceso desde la autovía y el desayuno está muy bien. Lo peor son las camas, almohadas muy incómodas y colchón regular, sería importante invertir un poco para mejorar el descanso de los clientes. Por lo demás está bien, el trato del personal muy amable.
