I was looking for a hotel near the airport in Valencia for an early morning flight, and Port Azafata was perfect. I had a wonderful room, a tasty dinner on-site, and reliable free transport to the airport the day of my flight. I had a perfect night's sleep. The staff were wonderful

Please be aware that this property does not have a 24 hour shuttle and a taxi (6 am to 10 pm). They will order you a taxi, but it's literally 5 minutes to the airport and cost 10 euros!

The room was clean and the food at the bar restaurant was good. Communication at the reception while friendly, did not make clear that we were paying our own way in the taxi even though I did ask if we were expected to pay for it.

Ok it’s an airport hotel. But our AC was broken, we couldn’t open the windows and the sound of Ryanair was still ruthless at 0600. But the bar was fun albeit soulless with some interesting guests.

It’s fine if you just want to be near the airport. It’s right across the street. You can’t walk easily but it’s a mile away from the entrance. AC didn’t work and I called and they never came to fix it. Couldn’t have window open because courtyard was loud and planes.

Amazing breakfast that is definitely worth paying for. Comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Just a few minutes from the airport. Note the shuttle doesn't run really early or really late ao we couldn't use it. They'll call you a taxi though.

The best part about this hotel was the amazing breakfast with tasty food and many options.

Note the airport shuttle stops at 10pm.

I did not like the frosted bathroom door and wall-it made it feel there wasn't total privacy.

Only complaint is it was a little tricky to meet hotel courtesy pickup at the airport.

Very close to the airport runway but soundproofing of the hotel was excellent. No noise from planes at all. Hotel very modern and clean. Restaurant small but adequate. Staff friendly

Paid for 2 rooms , for 2 nights each. 1st 2 rooms had zero cooling from the non functioning air conditioners. Strong odour ( mixture of tobacco and air cleaner ). Dirty ( blood stained ) bedsheets with tears and holes.
2nd set of rooms were marginally better. Cleaner bedsheets, but zero cooling ability from air conditioning + the repulsive odour.
Expedia was of no help. Spoke to Mohammed on the Help Line.
We picked up our bags and left to a beautiful facility near the ocean.
Manager kept insisting the the hotel was nice and lots of people like it.
We left with zero compensation for the 2 days prepaid.
I know that Expedia will not publish this review, but you have lost a loyal customer who will share my experience with everyone.

This property has deteriorated since the opening. There are many issues that go unresolved. For example,the AC throughout the building doesn’t cool, it only blows air. The elevator door seems like it is about to come apart and partially closes . It makes loud noise and it is scary to ride the elevator. The staff are not very friendly and just want to sell you more amenities. I had parking included in my reservation, but the front desk insisted I had to pay for parking. I ate at the restaurant and got sick with stomach pain and diarrhea. I would never go back to this hotel .

Very handy location. Metro 10 minute walk. Lidl market tight by. Small pool however great after a day exploring! Staff were excellent. Food in restaurant was varied. Overall. A good place to stay out of the city and best the airport - not noisy at all!!

Stayed at Port Azafata just for one night to be close to the Valencia airport. The triple room was large enough, but the beds are so hard, didn't get any sleep. The walls is the room are very dirty, maybe some paint wouldn't hurt.

Very nice stay, close to the airport. My flight left at 6am, and since the shuttle starts at 6am, the staff helped us get a taxi. Although it is very close, the taxi was 10 Euros because it was so early. The pool is nice, and the stay was enjoyable.

A long wait at check-in because they were full and turning people away, even though we had booked and confirmed through hotels.com. I contacted hotels.com and about 20 minutes later they made a room available. Not nice to wait for over an hour and almost miss dinner after an eight hour drive.

Great location for a couple of nights stay before an early flight - the free airport shuttle is a real bonus! The pool was quiet and beautiful during the day but did get quite busy with children splashing around in the evening which made it harder to enjoy. The only issue I had was that my key card stopped working on 2 different occasions, however this was swiftly fixed both times. Thank you!

Anytime I have a very early flight from the Valencia airport I stay at Port Azafata. Their rooms are clean, spacious and quiet, they have a free shuttle to and back from the airport, and the food at the restaurant is great. Will come back for sure.

Bad: Uncomfortable beds, poor AC so rooms too hot. Can’t open windows due to noise. Shower runs VERY hot. My daughter burned herself by making a small adjustment to temperature. Shower ceiling panels covered in mold.
Good: very close to airport. Parking available($10/night), decent price

Would not recommend for families until the hotel does some upgrades. Would probably stay if on my own.

The servers went down. We arrived at 10.25pm tired after walking from airport as was told at 9.55pm the shuttle had already finished. We couldn’t check in until 12.50am!! They didn’t offer us any compensation but agreed to give us a free breakfast when I asked which was very nice

The gals at the front desk were very kind and helpful.It is a basic hotel, but clean and very nicely priced breakfast.There is not much to see near the hotel, but the metro is a 10 minute walk.Airport is close by.My only issue was pickup from the airport, which could be improved with better directions and a clearly marked hotel car.My driver was unable to pay for parking, so we ended up tail gaiting another which i found to be a bit sketchy.

The hotel was very nice. Nice staff and close to the airport. However, the reason I chose this hotel in the first place was because they had a shuttle to the airport. I confirmed it when we checked in. But in the morning, they said the shuttle was not available and they asked if I had reserved it. I told them about my conversation about it, and to fix it, they got me a taxi and paid for it. It was a little stressful, but they handled it well.

This property is right by the airport so you will have a lot of airline noise but that’s why I chose it cause I needed to be close cause I had a 6 AM flight out. I booked it because it had a free shuttle to the airport and of course it was not free. I was not able to be shuttled and I was unable to eat the free breakfast as I had to leave at 4:30 AM which I understand but they could’ve gave me something

The suites are facing the road and airport, so unless you are a very sound sleeper better to book a room at the back of the hotel.
My only gripe with the room was there was no charging station and only one available socket.
The shuttle worked well, good instructions to pick it up outside the metro area and to phone hotel
A good breakfast available to set you up for the day.

Stay was fine, however at check in at 2 am reception was insistent that both me and my wife provide separate phone numbers and emails although we had provided both passports and my phone number and email.
Reception insisted it was a legal requirement.
We have subsequently stayed in a couple of other places where this was not required.

Excellent reception staff. Hotel is incredibly close to airport but no real road or Airport noise (planes stop maybe 11.30/12PM?). Room functional and clean. Ate in the bar area which was good food and value for money
