A very big and modern hotel..impressive entrance and generous space at the lobby,
Smell of cigarettes in our room, after addressing it we given a different room ..
bit disappointed by the area, thought it would be closer to the sea, it’s surrounded by heavy traffic at a big cross junction..also disappointed with the pool area, pool much too small for this size of hotel, no chance for a swim .. also disappointed by the breakfast area also.. very noisy!
Staff helpful and friendly and good restaurants in walking distance.

Extremely poor service at the reception desk. Receptionists are - all, without exception - rude, discourteous, lacking manners, and not accommodating at all. Plus, full of hairs in bathroom and in the bed. No warm water the night we arrived.

Nice property in a decent location close to transport links. Had some issues with the pool closing with 0 notice and no one saying when it may reopen. I believe you had to pay extra for a kettle in the room which is odd considering I've stayed in 3 star hotels that have a kettle as a minimum.

This hotel was okay at best. Considering it's a 4 star hotel, the gym was a poor attempt at a fitness facility. The rooms weren't the cleanest and nor were they cleaned properly by room service. The pool was rather disappointing. The things I liked were that the ac always stayed on even if you didn't have your key card in, and the rooms were somewhat soundproof.

This is a nice hotel outside of the hustle and bustle of Valencia. I do think the entire place could use a “fluff”. Some things are a bit outdated in the rooms and furniture is a bit worn. My biggest complaint would be the way the shower is set up, the door does not fully close and the shower head faces toward the open part of the door so you are a bit crammed feeling to not let water splatter everywhere

Had a pleasant two night stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little dated but very spacious and definitely have all the basics for a hotel of this caliber. Breakfast was very good with a lot to choose from. The surrounding neighborhood is more residential and has some nice restaurants nearby. Decent bang for the buck overall.

Great hotel on the outskirts of the city, only 15 min drive from the airport and 10 min drive (about 1 hour walk) to the center. The hotel has good facilities and a pool. Breakfast provides a lot of options. Most importantly, staff at reception was super professional and welcoming.

A very nice hotel. The breakfast was impressive. Stayed there in March 2024 for a conference where the conference center is right next to the hotel. However, it's a bit far away from the city center of Valencia. Not convenient for sightseeing.

One night business trip arriving in the evening so not a huge amount of time to relax, but breakfast was wonderful and the service was great. I thought the bar area was a little small for the size of the hotel and a bit formal, although it's possible to take your drinks into the foyer area where there are lounge seats. Looked for the pool, but couldn't find it. Not sure if it was open. It's a little way from the old city and beach, but the tram stops right outside the back.

Al parecer el hotel no recibe mantenimiento.
La ducha estaba rota, se tomaron 2 días en arreglarla , la habitación llena de polvo, las toallas olían a naftalina, el ascensor es lento, pequeño sin aire acondicionado y para en distintos pisos constantemente. La atención al cliente es una vergüenza, las tarjetas para entrar a la habitación se desprograman constantemente. ( en mi caso 4 veces en 1 día…)
No me explico como tiene 4 estrellas sup.

Staying north of the Las Fallas festivities and explosions meant we could get some sleep. We were close to a delightful restaurant/vinotecha that was walkable from the hotel. Taxis lined up outside so it was easy to get to the train station when we left as well. Nice staff and pleasant hotel. Very nice deep tub - but no robes so I needed more towels than I usually use.

Hotel is beautiful. Badly needs a concierge to assist out of country visitors with restaurant locations, tourist attractions, etc.

Amazed that reception staff do not speak passable English or know the location of major attractions in the City like location of the old city, ceramic museum, etc. Tourist info bureau would supply pamphlets to the hotel to assist visitors if asked!!

Annoying that there is no restaurant at the hotel and that guests have to scan a QR code to get a menu!!

Fabulous hotel and great value

We had a wonderful holiday at Sorolla Palace. The pool area was lovely and we ended up spending a lot of time there. Our triple room was spacious with plenty of storage space. Breakfast was fantastic with a huge variety of foods to choose from. Staff were hard working but always pleasant, especially Cesar who welcomed us to breakfast room each morning.
There are some signs of wear and tear and things that could do with replacing but anywhere where lots of people stay is going to have that. Highly recommend.

This hotel was okay. We chose it because it has a pool but towels aren’t available at the pool deck. Had to go down to reception where they wanted 20 euros cash deposit. I didn’t have this on me and they wouldn’t put it on my room. Staff suggested I could go across the road to the casino and use the ATM. This made me mad and ruined my stay. Breakfast was good but location is a bit out of town.

This hotel does not deserve the 4 star rating .very understaffed. It takes for ever to check in and check out because there is often one person only at the desk . It took us 45 minutes to check in . Staff would not allow us to have a piece of cake in the llobby, the wifi is very weak . Breakfast buffet is good. The Melia hotel just across the road is a much better choice.

in these precarious tomes. Not one English
speaking TB channel. Only hotel like that in Europe. Next door to a convention center. I was there for business—always English available. I speak moderate Spanish but not even ANY subtitles ever. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL FOR TODAY’s business

Had a wonderful stay for 5 nights. A little far from city center but walkable. The path to center was very nice, tree line pedestrian boulevard! There is a bus stop right by the hotel. We ate at a nearby buffet Wok which serves all kinds of food for a very good price. Would stay here again if we come back!

Lovely hotel, friendly staff at checkin. I arrived at around 8pm after travelling all day.

When I got to my room and the temperature was unbearable. The sun had been shining through the big windows all day and the room was easily 30 degrees + and the air on was set to a minimum temp of 21 !

I called the front desk, they told me it’s Spanish law to have this minimum temp.

Long story short, they were very understanding about the heat and moved me to a different part of the hotel where the room temp was much more comfortable. I would definitely recommend asking for a room on the shady side of the property!

It was a lovely hotel though and I would stay here again.

Staff insisted you wear a mask on entering restaurant which we found pointless at breakfast.
A taxi ride away from old town costs around 6 euro.
Could do with more restaurants in walking distance as located on a particularly bisy junction

Nice hotel, a little bit out from the city so needed to take a cab. Towels not available at the pool, had to go in to the desk and give a cash deposit to borrow towels. AC in the room was not on when we arrived, but we were pleasantly surprised with the temp throughout the stay. The front desk didn’t seem manned very well for the amount of guests. We always had to wait whenever we needed something. Nice hotel and stay overall.

A vacation and staycation all together

We really enjoyed our stay in Sercotel l. It offers amenities that just made our whole trip in Valencia more fun. The indoor pool is maintained well and we were able to use it! The restaurant also serves good food and great serving all for a fair price. The staff is accommodating which is as expected of a 4-star supreme hotel. The location is 3 metro stop away from the city, and there are other options like buses and trams. Sercotel is situated in a business area so the structures around it are pretty new and there are many options as well as to dining. We would definitely go back to Valencia and check-in again at Sercotel.

A nice little touch for English tea drinkers with willow pattern cups and saucers and a teapot.Very good coffee machines and lots Iberian ham , goats cheese, cereals, beautiful fruit ,freshly squeezed orange juice. Good food and wine in the cafe/restaurant. decent Rioja 3euro50 a glass, tasty chef's potatoes de luxe, sandwiches, hamburgers et cetera all day long. A very nice pool area and gym ,good size bedroom,taxis outside the door, 10 minutes to the airport., staff knowledgable and friendly. Possibility of a late checkout......

Sercotel Scrolla Pace - Valencia - Very Good

It is a well organised and well run hotel. Very clean. Great staff, with warm and welcome attitude from the floor staff to bar and restaurant. No complaints at all. Room was immaculate and the pool area super. Small bar and menu but just enough for the day time. Good area as well, only 30 mins walk to the old town but great comms for metro, tram and buses everywhere. Just 15 euro from Airport to hotel - 15 mins. Valencia is a very nice city to visit. We were there for 5 days and had a great time.
