I recently stayed at the Clarion The Hub Hotel and overall the hotel is very nice. The property is clean, modern, and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and the location is excellent, making it easy to get around the city.

However, this is the second time I have stayed here and unfortunately the steam room in the spa area was not working again. That was disappointing because one of the reasons I chose this hotel was to enjoy the spa facilities after a long day.

Aside from that issue, the staff were pleasant and the hotel itself is beautiful. I just hope the steam room is repaired soon so guests can fully enjoy the amenities the hotel advertises.

The staff is incredible. I have been to many hotels in Oslo, all good experiences, yet here the staff really makes the difference.
The SPA & pool area are also great and the view on the restaurant and bar on the 13th floor are unique.

We had booked and paid in full 6 months in advance and were told a few days prior our booking that the amenities (pool, sauna, steam room and parts of the gym) were closed for refurbishment. Not only the hotel did not answer our messages regarding a potential compensation or partial refund, they could only gave us a room upgrade when checking- in a reception. Although we appreciated the gesture, it was a small compensation considering we specifically booked the hotel for the amenities and were only told about the closure 3 days prior....

That being said, they have, by far, the best breakfast buffet I have ever seen and the staff was very friendly.

Our family had a lovely stay at the Clarion Hub Oslo! All the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed and appreciated. Our every wish was wonderfully fulfilled! The hotel is very clean and comfortable! The rooms are spacious and stylish! Howard was especially caring and kind! He helped us with recommendations that make our stay even more enjoyable and memorable!

Amenities. They were closed and there is nothing in the website about this. Nor do they actually even mention it at check-in until I asked where they were. Nonetheless that there are like 100 strawberry properties (exaggeration) in the nearby vicinity there was no compensation or reciprocal arrangements made. So poor.

clean room but quite small. picked this hotel for swimming pool but it was quite small and too deep for my kids. sauna not so hot. if swimming pool is the reason why you pick this hotel, reconsider :) changing area and shower for swimming pool was just so not well managed and wet floor all over the place - dangerous and not clean. that was my only complaint. havent had breakfast due to early flight.

Room was tiny and no heating, requested to move and was told was full, then given a heater but the sockets didn’t work, only the one near the bed. No wardrobes space just 4 hangers on a coat hook! Very poor for price paid and as a regular customer! Coming again this week so hopefully a better experience

Also hotel is central. Opposite the main railway station and Central Bus and tram stops. Shops and restaurants close by and about 10 mins walk to the harbour and opera house.

Nothing was too much trouble and although it was very busy that particular weekend, due to a few pre Christmas parties, the staff, especially in the bar / diner and main reception were very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Staff very helpful, when we didn't like how far our room was from the elevator, they moved us closer & even into bigger rooms. The view was amazing too. Breakfasts were exceptional, so much variety. The location was perfect, so close to all the various transportation to get around the city. A short walk to the Central Train Station & Tourist Information. We stayed here 18 years ago, and so had to stay again. We were very happy!

Great stay however the spa wasn't as nice as I had expected. The steam room wasnt very steamy so to speak and because of how oversized it was it just wasn't very relaxing for me. Not ideal considering I booked this hotel for the spa mainly. And the lool was somewhat small, it was heated however some tiles and just the area in general wasn't as upkept as I had hoped.

We had a great long weekend staying at Clarion The Hub. The location is perfect, a very short walk from the train station and you're only a ten minute walk at the most from most places in the city. For those a little further, the tram and bus stop is just across the road.

Staff at the hotel are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The room was very clean and breakfast was fantastic too.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Oslo.

We had an incredible stay at the Clarion Hotel The Hub. It’s the perfect base for a city break - modern, stylish and very comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect – so central, easy to get around, and convenient for getting to and from the airport.

The breakfast was honestly the best we’ve ever had on a city trip, with a huge selection and everything freshly prepared. The staff were amazing – friendly, welcoming and really knowledgeable about the local area, which made our stay even better. The spa was lovely and provided a great way to unwind after exploring the city, and our room was very nice and well equipped.

The only slight downside was that I believe someone tried to hack my Instagram account while using the free Wi-Fi, so it might be worth looking into making the connection more secure.

Overall, a brilliant experience and we’d definitely stay again!

I greatly enjoyed my 5-night stay at the Clarion Hotel The Hub.
The hotel itself is beautiful, clean and well maintained. If you're someone like me who wants to be within walking distance or a short transit ride to museums, shopping districts and great restaurants, then this is a great area to stay in. Also, I'm a female solo traveler and never felt unsafe even when exploring at night.
Every interaction with any member of the staff was a positive experience, particularly when my cell phone malfunctioned and a member of their team was able to provide me with walking instructions to the nearest phone repair shop.
The breakfast is far superior to any hotel breakfast I've experienced in North America. They offer a large variety of food and drink options, including a made to order section with chefs.
I only visited the bar once during my stay but the bartender makes a great espresso martini!
If I ever find myself back in Oslo I would happily book another stay at this hotel.

This property is too big, our room had to be changed because of lack of maintenance. The next room still was not up to par- the fridge didn’t cool.

The towels were so very thin. The breakfast felt like a big cruise ship - disgusting. The fruit still had the paper labels indicating they were not washed.

It was convenient to the train station but a mistake nonetheless.

Clean room, 11th floor with courtyard “view” no real view but it was quiet which is what we wanted. Very little daylight gets into the area which is helpful if you like to sleep late. Coffee machine with regular coffee pods, no decaf, no tea and no kettle. Awesome breakfast buffet. Reception is always available & helpful. Pictures on hotels.com are misleading. Our room showed a bathtub in the pictures, the description did note shower but pictures should not be permitted that show options/features that aren’t available in the room that is being offered for booking.

Conveniently located and welcoming large hotel, right in the heart of Oslo. Comfortable and clean, we had a problem with our bathroom, which the hotel staff sorted quickly and effectively.

It’s close to train station, we did not have to take a taxi from the trains station, we just crossed the street. It is also close to the cruise port where we took Baltic cruise through NCL, it’s a 10 min walk from the hotel. The room is clean and amenities are excellent.
The only thing I did not like is the door lock, they did not tell us upon check in that when you leave your room, you have to tap your card so the door locks and we just discovered it after a few tries making sure our door is closed when we left our room.
It is so close and walkable to the tourist attractions. Close to restaurants and shopping. I would stay at this hotel again on our next trip to Oslo.

Pleasantly surprised by this centrally-located hotel. It’s huge and seems to be geared towards business travellers rather than tourists, but at the same time it feels warm, inviting, and premium. Some of the common areas, such as the corridors to the rooms, need a bit more attention from a vacuum, but the room itself was immaculate. A very comfortable stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Oslo.
