the hotel is right within the train station adjoining a mall. offering variety of food choices supermarket shopping and souvenirs. staff is friendly. i enjoyed their breakfast choices. a very good choice for travellers.

Great location. So many places to eat at train station. Now phone in the room. Had to go down to the front desk to ask for more pillows. Good brrakfast. I am picky, and it had a variety so something for everyone. We had a really large room but looked in some other rooms, and they seemed quite small. Only complaint was there was very little furniture and very tiny tables next to the bed. We in the US are use to having more surfaces to put things and somewhere to elevate your suitcase. No drawers also. It would have been a pain if we were there for more than one night.

Check in was seamless and Frida, if I remember correctly, was really helpful in showing us points of interest for our 2 day stay. Local travel apps were highlighted to help navigate the city too which was extremely helpful.

The buffet style breakfast was brilliant and a good mix to choose from.

The room was small but cozy. It suited our short stay perfectly. The bed was comfortable but if you sleep with multiple pillows you will have to ask for an extra as it was only one pillow per sleeper but again this suited us quite well.

We were travelling for my fiance's birthday and I asked that the hotel maybe put a balloon or something in the room prior to check in and they said they'd try but unfortunately they didn't do it. I understand that not all requests can be accommodated but if they did it would have made the stay a little more special.

Other than that I recommend this hotel to short stay travellers for the friendly staff, tasty food and convenient location handy.

Terrible service and unprofessional staff. I paid for a two-night stay, but my key card was deactivated after the first night. Instead of helping, the receptionist rudely told me I’d checked out without even checking the system. She then began questioning why I was staying by myself, which felt incredibly inappropriate and intrusive. I paid full price for a professional experience but was treated like a nuisance. I do not recommend this hotel

Very bad management. No water in the toilet one night; internal door that connects with train terminal was closed, with no reason coming out from the counter personnel, and with big luggage I had to go around the block, causing big trouble in my injured knee.

Location is easily the best thing about the hotel. Right inside Oslo Central meaning arriving or departing by train is simple if you stay here. It also means there plenty of food and shopping all within walking distance.
The staff were amazing, giving me tips on where to go to get last minute gifts and souvenirs.
My room was simple, but that’s all I was after. The facade of the hotel is deceiving as I thought it would be old and run down, but inside is modern and updated. Room was comfortable and clean.
I will definitely stay here again!

This is a nice hotel with a great, central location. However, on arrival we were allocated standard rooms, not the superior ones we had booked and paid for. This became apparent on entry to the rooms. I reported this to reception who initially claimed these were superior (much larger) rooms. I started to dispute this by comparing photos of our room with ones we had booked and was then immediately offered the correct rooms. No doubt if I hadn't challenged this we would have been given the incorrect rooms. This is unacceptable.

Despite the many 'excellent' breakfast reviews I also found this to be a bit disappointing, with limited range particularly in fresh fruit and pastries.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel but do check carefully that the room you are given is actually the one you have paid for!

A great hotel in the best location in Oslo. The young lady in reception (Shalom I think) was fantastic. She organised for our room to be cleaned so we could check in early which we really appreciated. The room was perfect for the three of us. Very stylish, clean and functional. The breakfast buffet was lovely and had lots of food options. Overall, a great hotel.

The hotel was refurbishing their lift but did not make this known to me either prior to arrival or upon check-in. When I went to my room I found I had to carry very heavy luggage downstairs (and up again on departure) and did not have anyone with me to help. I was returning to the hotel the following weekend so asked for a room that didn't require me to use the stairs but was told it wasn't possible unless I paid a considerable amount of money to upgrade my room. I feel the hotel should have made it clear that the lift was not working and could have done more to try and allocate a more convenient room on my return.

Hotel was so convenient for the train station and my ongoing travel plans; the rooms were a little dark but the bathroom was large and bright with lovely spacious shower; bathroom light is on a sensor and mine took ages to go off in the night which was a little annoying; lift was out of order due to hotel renovations during our stay and had to carry heavy luggage up two staircases which was not ideal. I felt we should have been notified of this prior to our stay as there was no offer of assistance and unable to change rooms unless we paid for an upgrade. I

The room was spacious and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast had lots of different options to help yourself to. The only thing I disliked was the automatic bathroom light which was blinding in the middle of the night. It would be good to be able to turn the sensor off at night - or have a ‘night’ setting with much dimmer lights.

Only negatives were no tea or coffee facilities in the room, and an AC system that made a lot of noise but didn't seem to respond to the thermostat. It was a very hot room despite the outside cold temperatures.

I HATED that the bathroom lights were unable to be turned off. My eyes are rather sensitive and a couple of trips to the toilet in the night burnt the back of my retinas. We had to turn the power off, and use a torch. That meant we couldn't charge our phones overnight, so that was a problem. There were very few hooks etc in the bathroom, nowhere to put things in the shower. The towels had to hang above the toilet to dry. Needs more thought when designing.
The chairs in the 2 rooms we had were obviously for style and not comfort- they were all horribly uncomfortable.
Nowhere to put your clothes overnight if you were on the right side of the bed, they had to be left near the door.
The seating in the bar/lounge was very uncomfortable too- few back rests and they were more like beds than chairs.
Breakfast was all down a deep step, and I couldn't get to the food with mobility issues. No handrails, no slope. Very, very poor

Specially the morning staff attending breakfast, the whole team were very nice, though they were so busy doing their job. Special mention to Marecel, thank you for making our stay in the hotel a memorable one. We will stay here again.

The hotel is perfect for a short stay. The room was a bit small, but the location couldn’t be better, it’s directly connected to Oslo Central Station. The only downside was the Wi-Fi; it worked well in the lobby, but the connection in my room was very weak, and I couldn’t get online during my two-night stay.

Staff was helpful and kind. Gave us a to-go sack breakfast due to leaving at 3:30 am. However, the mattress was the most uncomfortable one I have ever slept on IN MY LIFE. A 2 inch foam mattress on top of a VERY old box spring with dip in the middle. They did add a 2nd 2 inch foam mattress after complaint, making it slightly more bearable. Each time my husband slightly moved, it felt like an earthquake was happening. And I come from earthquake area. I literally was not able to sleep. I rarely give reviews, but felt it important to voice my concerns. Lack of any sleep made this experience the poorest rank of any hotel that I have ever stayed.

It is really convenient if you need continue to travel to somewhere else using the train as it is just located inside the Central station. I saw the Hotel name but still spending some time to find the way to go to the reception. It would be helpful if there are more obvious signs to show where the entrance is !

The hotel is conveniently located, just a few minutes walk away from Munch Museum. The Royal Palace and National Museum are also in walkable distance, but the tram stops are right in front of hotel as well. The daily breakfast had a good selection, but go early, it does get crowded. The room itself was very basic, and small but the bed was comfortable and it was clean. The hotel is connected to the Oslo Central Station so it’s very convenient getting to and from the airport, and really anywhere else by train. Would highly recommend!

The hotel was a clean and the service was very good. However, the bed was about the worst bed in a hotel that we have ever stayed at in our 45 years of married life. The climate controls also did not seem to work. No washcloths for bathing in the shower,, which we have come to expect in any hotel in the US, were provided.
