Large hotel spread out over large plot, clean rooms and public area.
Shaun
Hotel was ok. Not the best; not the worst. Although it was extremely hot, the window in our room only opened about 3 inches (2.5cm) which did absolutely nothing to help with air flow. I asked reception about it and they said it was a safety restriction to open it further.
Onsite bar was a little hectic. People would let their kids run around inside the bar which was a total distraction.
The servers were also VERY slow. It took over 20 mins for our drinks to arrive and the bar area was less than 25% full.

Hotel reception and rooms were well maintained but outside of hotel, corridors and general layout really lets it down.
Bernie
Great stay. Pleasant staff.
Jonathan
Massive hotel with poor signage, asked staff for help and got basically none. Room was nice
Rajesh
enjoyed our stay there, very convenient in all respects
Mika
Interesting and in my view a useless rule in the pool area, you must use a swimming cap.
The restaurant area (breakfast and dinner) is really loud and hectic. I do understand that there are lots of familiea with small kids so I would hope that the restaurant would either place the families in thw same area and making a more calm area in other location where the guests without kids could eat.
The breakfast selection was rather limited.

Overall, very good, and especially for kids, the pool and sauna was very good, music in the bar was great,we had the family room which was great,it was 2 rooms and the kids loved it,definitely recommend it
Justin
Hotel layout was somewhat confusing to navigate. Nice hotel
Kaye
Great staff
HASSAN
Awesome experience.Thanks
Sarah
The suite was generous for a family. I loved the blackout curtains for the summer sunrise that starts around 4am. The hotel is a little far afield for anyone who wants to walk to town. It’s big and without much charm, but it is a generous accommodation and good value.
Charles
too hot and noisy
Tristan
Hotel Killarney is a great hotel. The staff are friendly enough, the hotel and rooms are spacious, the amenities are great and the hotel itself is sprawling with many corridors that makes it feel like the Shining (in a good way!). The staff were very accommodating and the check-in/out process was very simple and efficient! The room was clean, with enough trinkets to keep you satisfied with lots of space. It certainly does the trick!
Gillian
Brilliant kids loved it
William
Very large hotel, some rooms were quite a hike from the reception. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was good. Parking was plentifully which made up for the slightly long distance from the center of town.
Evan
Great for families!
Shawn
Very nice
Linda
The pool and changing rooms impeccably clean.
Rooms were spotless.
Lovely staff. Edwin went out of his way to find a drink that I liked.
Food good.

Very good hotel. Maybe change the carpet for new floor. For the rest is superbe
Gerard
Very nice Hotel plus very comfortable beds and shower pretty good as well. The staff were nice.
Mary
The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful. They were very nice. The waiter we had, Rubin, was great! Very friendly and attentive. That part of the hotel was air-conditioned. Our room was not. We were there during a heat wave. We had a fan which helped some but it was warm in our room. The lady at the front desk when we checked in gave us very good advice on where to stop on our travels around the Ring Of Kerry.
Malinda
The bar was beautiful, room was clean but parking was not great
Danielle
Anthony
This is a large hotel and has lots of car parking. Family friendly so don't be surprised by lots of kids and noise.
Swimming pool nice but timing is everything due to number of people staying and also locals.

We had a lovely time. Friendly and helpful staff, especially those working at the restaurant. We made good use of the pool as well, which was a highlight of my daughter's stay there.
Antonino
All the staff were polite and smiling. Room was clean (looked freshly painted). Enjoyed the cooked breakfast.
Kevin
Enjoyed a lovely stay at this family-friendly hotel. The hotel is remarkably well presented despite its heavy use from families and our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Appearance throughout suggested recent refurbishment to a high standard. All of the staff we met were helpful and buoyant. Food in the restaurant and bar was wholesome and reasonably priced.
ELIZABETH
While the room itself was very nice, the lack of air conditioning, even during April when it was quite cold outside, was disappointing.- this was of course my fault as I was not aware that all hotels didn’t have air-conditioning. The hotel is quite vast and had more than a long distance to the reception area from our room., No 234… there are three separate lifts, AB and C which we had to find, and then a very warm, walk up several passages of the hotel, to get to our room.
Barry
National park is beautiful
Mai
The room is clean, staff is attentive and friendly
Maurice
Great hotel for families, good food and great soft play area. The staff were very accommodating as we had a toddler and baby. Will be back many times hopefully.
Kevin
Fan in the room was a plus. Hotel layout is a bit confusing and you can potentially be way on the other side from check in. Good location. Quiet area.

Yes pool brilliant
Libbie
Room was lovely, clean, modern however there was a lot of noise disturbance, you could hear everything especially from the hallway.
Sang Hyuk
It was very good
Charles
Plenty of parking, facility is very clean, friendly and helpful staff.
Dan
Absolutely amazing experience. Staff was amazing and couldn’t have been nicer, and the amenities for families with kids was second to none.
Elizabeth
The Good: The property location was great for downtown exploring. The staff was friendly, and the property itself was clean.
The Bad: There is an apartment complex directly behind the hotel; the night we stayed it was extremely loud. The parking lot was crowded and made it hard to find \"on site parking\". The doors to get back into the hotel did not work with the room keys. Getting bags in and out of the door was difficult due to not having automatic open.

Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel had a nice restaurant and bar on site. Staff were friendly and helpful!
Anita
Very happy with my stay.
Joseph
Staff in fitness center were very helpful explaining check in process and facility amendments. Thy ran a professional and clean facility. As a Past Facility Director for the YMCA I am always analyzing facilities. Well run! Highlights to Manager Louise and friendly staff Brad, and Chloe. Look forward to our visit next year.
Melanie
Wonderful stay. Very spacious room. Highly recommend.
Samuel
Good value for the money
Ken
Excellent breakfast and service!
Keith
The Hotel Killarney is located on the outskirts of Killarney which makes it easy to reach. The staff at the hotel are friendly and professional. The rooms are comfortable. There is a good selection of food at the breakfast buffet. I stayed 4 night to explore the area.
Vanessa
The entire team at Hotel Killarney were incredible, whether it was checking in or the sloe berry bar, the team were fantastic, the hotel is located so central to a bunch of amazing sights, I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to stay and explore the ring of Kerry, the rooms are spacious modern; comfortable and quiet. Also a quiet word for the Sloe Berry bar, the food was impeccable and the staff so friendly and helpful, we felt no need to venture out to any other restaurants
Lorie
Big, comfortable, well appointed hotel. Caters to families, but all kinds of travelers there. Room was spacious, nicely decorated and relaxing. Restaurants were busy the whole time we were there, with great food and service. Leisure centre was wonderful, especially the pool.
Terry
All of the staff was superb!
Keri
The staff was always so pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and so fast to clean your room when you left the sign out in the door. Very efficient and such hard workers.

We loved the location. The room was quiet, roomy, and comfy.

The hotel is a great place to stay when being in the Killarney area. Clean, friendly personal, good-sized rooms, good breakfast buffet, restaurant, and bar. The hotel is huge, so be prepared to walk a while along the hallways before finding your room. My only recommendation to the staff: Explain the directions at the front desk. A couple of times, I pointed lost guests into the right direction.
Christian
Great lobby and restaurants. The room was sizable and clean. The front staff is amazing. The check in and out was smooth. The bed was pretty stiff. There was a lot of loud activity right outside my window which had to stay open because of how warm it got in the room. I was able to hear a guest in another room coughing all morning.
Amber
excellent for a one night stay over. breakfast was plentiful.

Nice big rooms.

Killarney is a great, quaint little town with wonderful dining and shopping options. Definitely happy with the visit but would probably stay in a different hotel next time.
Katie
Fantastic! Easy walk into town, great room and the breakfast was phenomenal!
Kermit
My second stay at Hotel Killarney, and it feels like my home-away-from-home in Killarney. Fantastic staff, huge and nice rooms, great pool and exercise facilities, nice dining and restaurant options, big and good buffet breakfast included, lots of free parking on site. The only downside is that it is about a 30 minute walk to downtown Killarney and there's no shuttle option. But, to be fair, AFAIK, no other hotels runs shuttles to downtown Killarney, and the city doesn’t have any public transport either.
Mardson
this cannot be a four-star hotel. It is old, has not AC and the staff is not up to speed.
Margaret
Very long walk from lobby to room due to size and layout. Dingy.
Doa
We stayed in this hotel for only one night so this is a very limited review. I know it is advertised that it is good for families but it was definitely filled with children, strollers, noise, etc. so if I ever go back, I’ll try a different hotel just for a little less noise and crowds. The breakfast was very good though!
Michael
Great place to stay
Gregory
Hotel Killarney had a fabulous breakfast. The room was spacious, clean, and we were able to relax after our day out exploring.
Michael
Nice and clean. Staff super friendly. Close walk to shopping and food.
Shahram
We arrived in our room to find stained bed sheets. We immediately called down and they were very quick to send someone up to replace them. After the porter left, i went to use the bathroom and found pee on seat, hair in toilet bowl. There was also hair in shower as it had not been cleaned either. They gave us another room but horrible first impression. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Hotel restaurant excellent but pricey.
Mark
Was a bit far from city centre

Off the strip by half hour walk. We were so far from front desk. Took 4 minutes to get to room with luggage
Ann
Restaurant an barcwere both excellent. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Collin
A lovely hotel and all the staff are helpful and friendly , food good aswell .would recommend
Pak Yeung
Good room arrangement and layout of hotel
Allan
Lots of noise , unfortunately we had an adjoining room and beside an exit door . Also , the fire exit door didnt work all of the time . The mag lock would let us out and we mentioned it to hitel staff several times and it was never fixed which could have been a life safety issue . Kids running up and down the hallway
Molly
The staff were friendly and professional and the room was very nice.
Doris
Really enjoyed our stay pillows weren’t comfortable but everything else was great
Monica
This property did not have character, but it was big, rooms clean, good facilities, comfortable, centrally located. All in all, a good stay in a modern property.
Mary
Clean rooms, friendly staff, great food!!

Wonderful stay
Updated hotel close to downtown Killarney, but away from all the traffic. Wonderful stay and would stay again.
Sandra
We suppose that the weekends are the busiest time, but this past weekend we had unruly children running around, elevator mirrors with handprints and public bathrooms with toilet paper scattered around

Staff was friendly, room comfortable and clean.
Easy access to the Ring of Kerry by car, but a little distance from town to enjoy other dining and shopping options.

A little far out of town for the half marathon but it worked.

No A\C and it was unseasonably warm! But a fan was provided and we were SO grateful. The staff was friendly. For some reason our fresh towels were just thrown on the floor however. I would go back for another stay.

The rooms themselves were perfectly fine for a few nights, but each floor has additional stairs to get to your room (even after you've stepped off the elevator). This is a very family friendly hotel, so there were a lot of loud children and amenities catered towards them. Staff was kind, and it was a quick drive to downtown Killarney.

The property and staff were fabulous! The food was good, but was disappointed in breakfast. My biggest issue was the 30 minute walk to city center. Hotel was just a touch too much out of the way. Also, the hotel was a tour destination, constant flow of buses of tourists loading and unloading outside our window.

The location to the bus/train station was very convenient.

The hotel and staff was lovely. I wish it was closer to city center it wound up being a very long walk.
Roger

Walkable to centre of Killarny.
Hotel is massive though so can also take a long time to walk to your room ;)
Nice rooms and good bar/restaurant area. Friendly staff.

Inside was very well maintained. Outside building was a little not so well maintained. From the looks of the outside pulling up I was a little nervous but inside was a different story. Clean and comfortable
