This was the star of the trip! Their awards are well earned. I have travel very many places and this was the best overall stay. They even helped get our rental fixed.
We will bypass Dublin next trip and come straight to Killarney Park Hotel!

We had an excellent weekend in the hotel.
My only observation was the reception area of the leisure area/swimming pool wasn’t clean.
The hotel reception staff and wasting staff that we encountered throughout our stay were so friendly and kind.

Killarney Park Hotel is an amazing place. This was our first trip to Ireland and it was a good place to use as a base as we explored Southwest Ireland. We will definitely be back.

The hotel is in immaculate condition and you can tell how much care and thought has been put into the refurbishments. The communal areas are gorgeous and the bedrooms are stunning whilst also being extremely modern with every extra you can think of (think Dyson hairdryers, clothes steamers, modern aircon and light controls).
But what really made our stay were the staff, each was somehow friendlier and more helpful than the last and it made our short stay really special. From the valet and concierge, to the spa which was so welcoming, and the housekeeping and waiting staff who were so kind and proactive without being invasive. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Had a three night stay recently and honestly it was fab. Loved the spa, the food and the outdoor hot tub. The staff were super helpful too. That was our third stay with The Killarney Park and we will definitely will be back again soon.
Catherine
Absolutely perfect stay! The hotel is gorgeous and the staff were so friendly and attentive. Our room was huge with a sitting area and cozy fireplace. The breakfast was definitely the best we had in Ireland. The hotel is in town, steps from the train, but on grounds that make it a peaceful and quiet stay. Can’t say enough great things about this place.

Our three night stay at Killarney Park Hotel was the highlight of our two week trip to Ireland! The entire resort was in impeccable condition and every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful and professional. We dined at both the Garden Bar and The Peregrine ands the food was excellent at both restaurants. Shopping and dining were both close by, along with several interesting sites.

Great property in a great location. Staff and property was 5 star. Beautiful, helpful and friendly. Would absolutely stay here again. The location was amazing also but still very secluded and quiet.
Christie
We stayed at The Killarney Park for three of our ten nights in the southwest of Ireland and wish we could have stayed there all ten! The hotel was superb in luxury, customer service, and attention to detail. From bath salts for the claw-footed tub to a welcome note and snack from the management, the staff went out of their way to give us the vacation of a lifetime. The hotel is steps from the most beautiful park we've ever walked (Killarney House and Gardens) and is across the street from shops and restaurants. The food is flavorful, and they did an excellent job ensuring that my gluten-free requirements were met. Neither of us wanted to leave! Our next trip to Ireland we will stay here!
John
Outstanding!

Look forward to returning
Everything about our stay was delightful. The staff was so friendly and helpful, from assisting with bags to making suggestions for plans for the day- they did everything possible for us. The room is lovely and comfortable. The large tub in the ensuite was a bonus. Breakfast was delicious, definitely don’t skip it. We will absolutely be back.

This may have been my favorite hotel I’ve stayed in while traveling. Situated in the heart of town, the staff really went above and beyond to accommodate our large party that included 4 small children. Luxurious yet elegantly casual, we felt right at home. Sometimes a 5 star resort can come up short however this hotel was fantastic in every way! The included breakfast was over the top delicious and the town was fantastic! I would give this property my highest marks!
Carrie
Don’t miss it

Outdated hotel, that in its present state, is not deserving of the 5 star rating. That being said, renovations are supposedly to occur in November but the cobwebs in the room extending from the bedside table to the ceiling corner and ratty bathrobes robes have no bearing on a much needed renovation. Room was extremely small, no water pressure in shower, shower was very tiny, as was the bathroom overall. Toilet was constantly running and required multiple flushes.
Food at both restaurants was extremely bland. Bellhops and one receptionist were of five star caliber but the majority of the other staff wasn't notable. If you are looking to sleep earlier than 11-12pm, bring earplugs. If your room faces the front of the hotel, you will hear the bars across the street blasting music.
Our stay at The Victoria hotel down the street, was much more grand.

Killarney Park is worth every penny!
OH MY GOD. This hotel. I knew we had splurged a little on this but this hotel is actually, truly perfect. It's SO beautiful inside, and the customer service is exactly what a 5-star hotel should be. Everyone was so kind, and warm, and helpful. We were traveling with our 7-year-old daughter. We booked the family room, which was just mind-blowing. It's like a palace in there. A room like that would be $1500 in the U.S. They provided robes, and even had a child's-size robe for our daughter, and slippers in her size. I've NEVER seen care and attention to detail like that before. After a five-hour drive from Galway in the pouring rain, Killarney Park was a haven, a comfort, a luxury - exactly what we needed. I'd live in that hotel if I could! If this is a splurge for you too, trust me and just go for it. It will be the best experience of your trip. One thing to note that was the only disappointing thing... they do not allow kids in the hot tubs - only the pool. And the hot tubs are not very hot - lukewarm at best. So if you're there with your child, that means you have to stay in the pool the whole time too and not the hot tub :( That was a bummer. But otherwise, everything here was a dream.
Lance
Absolutely wonderful stay.

Nice hotel with a few areas for improvement
We had a good stay for one night at the Killarney Park Hotel. The highlight was definitely the staff who are truly exceptional. They are well mannered and go out of their way to make us comfortable or provide recommendations for our trip. We also enjoyed the spa, the restaurant and the overall aesthetic. A few areas for improvement: 1) the AC wasn’t really working in our room and the windows only open a crack, which made it really uncomfortable on a particularly warm night in August. 2) my robe in the spa was filthy - it had someone else’s hair all over it. I am
Not sure if it was mistakenly given to me when it was dirty or if it was just not washed well. Also the shower in the spa had a clogged drain. I’m not sure we’d stay here again if we were in the area but we’re glad we gave it a try.

We stayed at the Killarney Park for the weekend and it was fantastic. Very friendly staff and high quality facilities. It was centrally located and right near all the main tourist attractions. Everything we needed was easy to arrange and was convinient all around.

Friendly hotel close to the city center
The location of this hotel is perfect for the town center. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room itself was a reasonable size and quite comfortable, the room had aircon which was good as we stayed on one of the hotest days of the year. The restaurant was good, if only the food was cooked a little less.
There are also nice grounds surrounding the hotel

Beautiful hotel. It felt grand and cozy at the same time. We loved all the separate public rooms to relax in front of roaring fires.

Impressive decor, classic design. Staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! Indoor pool & hot tub area is beautiful. The restaurant is elegant, with very attentive wait staff. The food is avant garde, with an impressive wine list! The Killarney Park will not disappoint!

This is fantastic hotel. The staff was very professional! Starting with concierge Padraig Casey, who reached out 2 weeks prior our stay and made sure I had all questions answered and provided with recommendations not to book any tour until I know if weather is suiting for selected tour. Then concierge Hue (I hope I spelled his name correctly) booked the tour for us at 10 PM the night before the tour. We arrived much later than expected, so the reception was reaching out to the restaurant to make sure we did not loose your reservation. I would say the whole team went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

It is a lovely old hotel a short walk to the center of the city. Very friendly staff. There are lots of sitting areas on the ground floor that I didn't know were there until late in my stay and I wish I had because they were very nice.

Very Irish. Charming, helpful, without pretention.

The hotel’s location is very convenient to the city center. House keeping and bell boy service was excellent. Front desk personnel name Bart however needs some improvement in his dealing with paying customers like me. Don’t be sarcastic but be professional. Keep that attitude at home. For that reason, I will not recommend this hotel to my colleagues and family.

Great location. Beautiful large room. Food at the restaurant was amazing. Breakfast was wonderful. Employees superb. Deserves its 5-star rating!

One problem, the hotel more than made up for it. Good location, friendly and attentive staff.

Wonderful relaxing stay.
We have tried a lot of hotels in Killarney and this is by far our favourite. Perfect for a short one night break or weekend away. You can’t get any more central. Staff are really pleasant and not false and the service we received from arrival to departure was exemplary. We will definitely be back!! Highlights were our upgraded room which we loved and the bar food.

Fabulous hotel in the centre of Killarney
Lovely relaxing over night stay at the Killarney Park. Staff couldn’t do enough for us and the hotel was so comfortable and accommodating. The breakfast was nice but could have been nicer thought the full Irish was a bit bland and we were left waiting for sauces and toast but our evening meal the night before was delicious and the mocktails the bar staff made were gorgeous. Overall an amazing stay.
