Our hotel stay was excellent. This the second time that we have been there and each time the staff has been excellent. Looking forward to our next visit.

I really had a great stay. The place had a great old feel to it but clean! The hotel was central and ideal. Will definitely go back.
Anne
Liked the old school feel of the hotel but rooms were small and very hot.

Jenna
The hotel is in a great location to explore Killarney! The room was very clean and had all the amenities we needed, they even provided a small fridge for us because my friend had a medication that needed to be refrigerated. We loved our stay at the international hotel in Killarney and would definitely recommended this hotel!
Colin
Great location. Beautiful property. Would highly recommend.
Mari
Super cute hotel in the heart of the city. Parking was a bit complicated, since you have to walk for a few minutes to find it, but we figured it out. Great rooms, and nice restaurant on site.
Randall
The staff's service was wonderful however, the property is very old and the hallway makes squeaky noises and disturbs your sleep - it's very annoying and it's like staying in an OLD B&B. It was a 4 star hotel but no refrigerator in the room. Stayed for 2 nights but was noisy at night with the squeaky hallway noises and the voices of the people staying in the hotel. Could not sleep well. Very disappointing.
Martin
Needed a room change as shower was not accessible, moved to a bigger room and better bathroom, all for no extra
Robert
Great locations . Sea food chowder in Harriman’s was amazing .
Janica
Bar had amazing drinks and a fun atmosphere. Everyone was very nice and helpful.
Cary

Perfect.

Like stepping back in time! Historic building that offers great comfort with modern touches but old, regal decor.
Parking is offsite. We used Glebe Public Car Park and wheeled our luggage down a sidewalk between buildings to get to the entrance. Not terrible.
We really enjoyed the step back in time.

Lovely stay at The International Hotel, Killarney. Clean and comfortable updated room. Beautiful property with various sitting areas to enjoy. Great service at reception and lunch at Hannibal’s. Perfect location by the park, restaurants and cafes.
Robert
Breakfast was very good.
Jaylene
The hotel is located right in the city center! There is a car park 3 min walk from the hotel. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. I will say the walls are thin so you did hear people walking around the hallways.

Breakfast was beautiful and fresh. Staff very helpful. Lovely place to stay in the heart of killarney
Lyle
The hotel a very lovely older hotel, stately, and well maintained. The cost per night was reasonable. We ordered the breakfast when we booked the room. It was well worth it ... a full Irish breakfast that was served to our table rather the the usual buffet line. The only downside was that it was hard to find ... the main entrance was hidden behind a sidewalk cafe. It it was difficult to find a close place to park to unload luggage. Parking was in a public parking lot about a 5 minute walk away.
Rachel
Charming hotel in a great location - can walk to lots of food, pubs, and shops. The room and bed were extremely comfortable and the staff were helpful and kind. Great stay - would return.
Thomas
Room and common areas presented very well, nice plus large breakfast, excellently located for tour departures, restaurants and train station (all “next door”) plus short walk to the national park.
David
We will be back. Loved the central location to pubs, restaurants, grocery and the national park. Breakfast was great and priced accordingly. Rooms were very clean, and VERY quiet!
We arrived on 24 straight hours of travel at 1pm. They got us in our room early so we could rest.

Superb hotel. Rooms, staff and food all excellent!
Kate
Great centrally located. Lovely staff, nice room. We'll be back next time we're in Killarney
Akasha
Absolutely beautiful hotel throughout the main lobby and restaurants. Wonderful, friendly service at the front desk. The room was nice but did have a smoky odor which was unpleasant. That said, the view was really beautiful overlooking the front of the hotel. The neighboring coffee shop started their music on the patio loudly quite early, 7:30 or 8 AM but we are early risers so it didn’t fuss us too much!
Travis
Staff is very friendly. The rooms are beautiful, clan and spacious. We highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely big room. We upgraded to a bigger family room and it was great. Really quiet. Breakfast fabulous and the food in Hannibal’s was lovely too
Philip
Lovely hotel. Great atmospger...food and drink top notch
Jacqueline
Lovely hotel, nice restaurant and bar would stay again
Jade
Great room, and location. Service and food was great
Patricia
Room was clean and comfortable, a little small but it was fine. We had burgers which were very average, they tasted like frozen burgers but in the oven, very disappointing. There was also no where to make tea or coffee in your room or a fridge to cool your drinks or food. It was fine but I expected more from a 4 star hotel
Myles
Excellent staff, excellent service. Great food. A really great hotel.
Matthew
The absense of parking or a drop off area really is an issue at this hotel as others say. Parking on a weekend is extremely difficult. Lack of porter service to assist with luggage make this really a 3 star hotel. Carrying luggage in rain across town is a drawback.
Gerry
Beautiful Hotel, Great Staff, Great Location !!!
Kim
We enjoyed the location of this hotel. The room was tidy and comfortable. The staff was top notch.
Virginia
Very beautiful hotel with a great attached restaurant and very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay!
Heather
Great clean room, bathtub, luxurious bedding. So pretty decorated for the holidays!
Richard
Enjoyed our repeat stay at the International, always greeted nicely by the staff and very comfortable room.
Melissa K
This was a nice and comfortable hotel. We liked that it was decorated for the holidays while we were there.
michelle
The staff was amazing. We were refunded because there were multiple stains on our pillows and towels but the staff was very nice and comped our stay. Killarney is beautiful. Hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas.
norah
Spotless hotel , absolutely lovely! Helpful staff, close to everything in town walking! Comfortable bed and duvet, lovely sitting rooms, big bathtub and great linens!
Brittany
Very good experience, great staff and great location
Rosa Elvia
Beautiful central hotel. Staff was kind and very efficient.
Daniel
Room was spotless and the hotel is in an amazing location central to the bars and high street - we had a problem with the heating in our room but the issue was resolved quickly. Breakfast in the hotel was nice and the staff helpful and friendly - will visit again
Patrick
Very clean room, very affordable
Anne
Dinner in this hotel was excellent.
Food was so tasty and great value for money.
Food was so tasty and great value for money.

Parking is not close to hotel. About a 10 min walk. There is no way to pull car up and unload bags. So don’t book this hotel if you can’t get your luggage down very bumpy sidewalk for ten min walk. Hotel walls are so thin you hear snoring of neighboring rooms and everyone walking down hallways. Wonderful hotel, wonderful staff, but they can’t improve these noise and parking problems.
sheila
Staff truly takes care of you, any request. Wonderful service.
Marcel
Not a bad experience. Staff was great, hotel lobby and room were clean. There is shopping, coffee, and food right next door. Property is close to several other restaurants and attractions in the area that you can walk to. The only problem is that everything is very old. I felt like I was staying at the hotel in the movie the shining. Rooms and bathrooms are straight from the 1970’s. Like I said, not a bad experience but everything does need to be renovated.
Sandra
Everything was wony

Fantastic location with great staff. Good breakfast choices. Walking distance to all shops, pubs and restaurants. Also easy access to Ring of Kerry.

EXCELLENT HOTEL & GREAT LOCATION
Incredibly beautiful hotel with gorgeous furnishings and good food and friendly staff !
Patricia
Have stayed here twice- perfect place. So close to Main Street and such a nice hotel, so clean
ELIZABETH
While I was only here for one night , it was an excellent stay. The reception welcome was friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally large for a European hotel and well appointed. The room was quiet, the water was hot , the service was amazing. While not modern the hotel was certainly nice. It was

Great hotel in heart of Killarney w/ best staff
Beautiful place that is walkable to all the shops and pubs but not loud. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Would stay here again!
Angele
The room we had was very spacious. It however might pose a challenge for people who have mobility issues as there are several sets of stairs and no elevator access to certain rooms.
Brian
Good location but difficult luggage drop off
Shannon
This was our worse stay in Ireland. The staff was stuffy and curt. The room wasnt very clean. Room was hot and we couldnt keep window open as a street light blared through window. No waters were in the room. I had to go to front desk in the middle of night to get water since we were blazing. Halways smelt terrible. I wouldn't have complained but upon check out I was accidentally booked 2 nights, we checked out on time for a 1 night. Expedia called to get a refund on the extra night like the front desk told me to do. The management refused due to a 48 hour cancelation policy, but we booked the room the same day how could we cancel any sooner? The hotel was full and we checked out with plenty of time for them to sell the rooms that night. Crooks! The only bright spot was the restaurant attached which had good food.
Christine
Great location in the heart of Killarney!
Keri
Wonderful establishment! Well located, but Killarney is an extremely walkable city. Jaunting cars right outside your door and great food served in both their pub/dining room and breakfast lounge.
Spotless, comfortable, nice sized room (we stayed in a twin).
We recommend!

Molly
Great property in the heart of Killarney
Matthew
Wonderful location. The room was small and did not have a/c, but they do provide a fan and the window could be opened. With the cool temperatures in Killarney, we were quite comfortable. I read reviews that the walls were paper thin, but we never heard a peep. Lovely breakfast each morning. All in all, we were very pleased.
Karin
Lovely hotel - fabulous staff!
Gerald
First time staying here and didn’t know what to expect. Excellent all around! Beautiful facility and clean rooms with attending staff.

Good location, rooms adequate
Room was ok. Would have appreciated if water was available in the room.
The shower leaked quite badly.
We paid for a welcome plate of treats to be left in the room for arrival. This was forgotten. The receptionist apologised and made sure I wasn’t charged. It was a missed opportunity to offer an alternative gesture to make our stay special.
There is no dedicated parking here, we used the public car Park around the corner.

Staff were great, food first rate, my room was great. Everything about the Hotel was first class. I would recommend it to anyone. Many thanks for my stay. John Meade.

This is a wonderful hotel. Beautiful interior/lobby, and the rooms were so nice. Had a jet tub, such a surprising bonus. The food in the restaurant both for breakfast and dinner was outstanding! Perfect convenient location too.

Nice area around national park, very nice place

Convenient

Absolutely great location in the centre of Killarney. Great place to stay if you are doing the Ring of Kerry or just the local sights.
JEFFREY
Lovely and convenient!
Everything was nice but i found the hot water in short supply when i took my cold shower.

The hotel was clean and charming with very accommodating staff and really good food. The room was spacious and we had everything we need. A working window is sometimes helpful when you get too warm. This hotel is in a great location for walking to many sites and transportation to and from is easy.

Wonderful stay! Perfect for this 60 something couple.

Lovely Hotel.
The hotel was very nice, the food was excellent and the services was really good. We had a standard room which was also very good but a little small. Overall a really enjoyable stay.
Andrew
Beautiful hotel in an area close to everything. The train station was a short walk away and convenient since we had to catch it early the next morning. The hotel staff was very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.
Maria
Staff was friendly and approachable. Room and breakfast service were comfortable and convenient.

Everything you need is within walking distance from the hotel. The parking is down the road within walking distance as well. Unfortunately you do have to pay by day other hotels in Ireland stamped our parking so we didn’t have to pay. A full day is 10 euro so make sure to prepar for that.

Great location and aesthetic inside
Laura
Incredible service!
This was a very nice, well looked after hotel but what really stood out was how the staff went out of their way to ensure that we were having a great stay. I can’t even single out anyone in particular as we saw this among multiple staff members! Kudos to you!
Susan
Gorgeous, comfortable room. Spent lots of time working in a beautiful room with 2 fireplaces.

Awesome experience at The International!

Excellent front desk staff. Went out of the way to deliver toast, juice etc.to our room at midnight . We had been at the emergency dept.in Tralee for hours due to an accident early in afternoon and had no opportunity to eat dinner. The delivered tray of food was very much appreciated.
We ate one meal in the pub which we enjoyed. Very good service.
Each morning we enjoyed breakfast in the large breakfast room. We loved the porridge and the granola/yogourt/berries.
Only complaints ..it is an older hotel and the hallways are like navigating a maze ! Also, climbing in to very tall bathtub to shower with an injured knee was tricky. Wish the rooms had walk in showers.

I really enjoyed our stay here! The room was clean, the staff was welcoming and there is plenty to do in the area. Also the restaurant attached to the hotel was very good! The only thing is our room was near the alleyway and it can be a bit loud with late night party-goers yelling about. But not much you can do about that!
