Main problem is sleeping. It's hot but all the duvets are about 30 tog making sleeping soundly hard

Lovely stay
Kathie
The property was so cute and well- maintained. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the breakfast was amazing! The hotel was in walking distance to downtown, but there was also a bus stop very close for people who don’t want to walk. We only stayed here one night but would definitely stay again!
ALI REZA
Staff were friendly.clean room. Breakfast was good.
Karen
Very well kept hotel and a great breakfast to start our busy days.
Heather
Very beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. Location is a little far from city centre, about a 45 minute walk but the staff was helpful to get us a taxi. No air conditioning which we noticed as we were traveling during a heatwave, but the room was still comfortable enough. Very clean and spacious rooms.
Michael
unfortunately when a crowd moved from the Bar to the outside courtyard at 1.15 am , the hotel did little to stop the excessive noise of a lot of drunk noisy patrons .
I did call the night manager at 1.30am but the noise continued .When checking out this morning the desk staff didn't want to know anything about it , they Said they where aware of the issue but didn't offer an apology or show any concern , so much for it being a 4 start hotel , we wont return .
Obviously the staff require training ....

Breakfast included in the price - disappointing range of choices, very basic.

Overall we were satisfied with this property. Stayed for two nights. As with all hotels in Ireland, the beds were hard and the room was hot. They delivered a fan to our room though so that was very appreciated and helped to cool things. The windows opened so that also helped.
We didn't eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on the food.
It's very convenient that the property is next door to a Supervalu grocery store.
You can easily walk to many touristy places in 30 minutes.
This is a clean hotel with attentive staff.

The hotel was clean and updated and the rooms spacious. The breakfast was very good. From the pictures I thought the location was a little more secluded, when it is really on a main road. Not a big deal as long as you're not expecting that. Our room had a fridge and an expresso maker which my husband really enjoyed. Overall great stay.
Charles
Great room, breakfast was a very nice buffet. Very nice place to stay.
Neil
Perfect place to stay whilst enjoying Killarney and Ring of Kerry. Room was very comfort and accessible for my elderly father. Great breakfast included, Joan and staff are top notch! Highly recommend.

The property was nice and bit too far from town to walk. Taxi was the best route.

Barbara
Window in room did not close and staff moved us to a newer nicer room.

Older building - breakfast was good. Room ok but bathroom needs updating. It was clean
Marc
Beautiful property was parking on site. Outside of Central Killarney
Victoria
A convenient location just outside the town centre. The breakfast was chef’s kiss — delicious. We found the bar a bit pricier, so having the in‑room mini fridge was handy. The rooms were nicely updated and the bathrooms were beautifully renovated. Overall, a great stay!

We had a pleasant stay for one night. The rooms were immaculate, but the lobby and reception area was a bit run down. Very, clean rooms, pleasant staff, and great food. I would stay here again.

It was very clean, rooms were spacious, breakfast was wonderful, staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this property.
Nigel
Clean room, comfortable bed, smart tvs, nespresso machine in room. Had mini green emergency light in room which was an irritant. Aside from that, great stay. 20 min walk to groceries. Very lovely building
Lisa
Nice room. It was a little hot and window opened about 2 inches. Stayed hot the whole time.

The hotel was pretty, and the location was convenient if you have transportation. It’s a little ways from town center and from the national park. The hotel is clean and pretty, but very little outdoor space besides parking and a small patio. Many of the rooms have been renovated, but it sounds like some are not. Our had a heated towel rack, which was a nice touch. The Nespresso machine in the room was also much appreciated. There were no washcloths and we had to request a third towel for the third person in our room, but the desk staff was very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was nice….full English breakfast. We would stay here again, if we return to Killarney.
Alex
We had a good time. The staff were very helpful, and everything was clean. We did end up switching rooms because our cell phones would not connect to the wifi in our first room. Maybe a dead zone on the router?
Denise
Please let guests know to call the front desk if the room was too hot, I wish I had been told this, it was like a sauna in our room. Other than that wonderful stay.
Reegis
It was a wonderful stay.

My family and I had a great experience.

Our 3-night stay at Killarney Heights Hotel was quite excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food (both breakfast and dinner) was great, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We enjoyed drinks at the bar to live music, or just relaxed by the fire. It was obviously a great choice of stay for our time there, and I would certainly look forward to staying again. Thank you.

Sebastian
Clean rooms, great parking, close to city centre
Hannah
Hotel entrance smelled terribly of cigarette smoke at all times.
Sally
Very nice staff, a beautiful hotel off the beaten path of downtown Killarney.
Karen
Located just outside town center with ample free parking and right next to a gas station, Supermacs, and SuperValu. Staff was very friendly and check in was very quick with pre-check in made easy. The restaurant also had great staff and wonderful bartended, plus the food was great. I recommend you try their curry! So many beautiful sights nearby. I would absolutely stay again!
Tuyen
Decent breakfast buffet with full Irish breakfast menu and continental items as well as smoothies, yogurt, and fresh fruits. 13.50 Euro for adults and 8 Euro for kids if letting the reception know by certain time. Excellent staff and services.
Amber
We enjoyed our stay at Killarney heights hotel! We had an incredible dinner after a long day. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The only downside for us would be that there was no AC, we visited during a March heatwave in Ireland. The staff did provide a fan to help! There is also a nice big window you can open and it was a quiet side of town so no loud noise at night. We would love to visit again soon!
Kathryn
Clean, easy check in and out. Near to restaurants, shopping, and outdoor activities. Would suggest they don’t play music at 7 am or alert their guests so ear plugs are at the ready. Free parking, friendly staff.
Joanne

Susanne

This hotel was exactly what you expected. Clean rooms friendly staff, beautiful entryway, had a fitness and pool section. Don't forget to bring your swim cap. Because they are mandatory if you want to go into the pool.

Great placecto stay
Julie
Hotel itself was very nice, but it is actually a bit out of town and we did not have a car. This gave us very limited dining options. Other than that, very nice stay
Nicholas
Really enjoyed the water stations in the hallway, and the windows in the rooms. Access to Killarny National Park was great.
Karl
Lovely place to stay with great bar on site and a good restaurant. It’s about a 30min walk into town so you’d need a car if you aren’t up for a lot of walking.
Staff helpful and friendly.

OK stay
The hotel was OK and the staff were friendly but not always quick or efficient.
We ate in the restaurant on our first night. The meal was average.
Good to have parking at the hotel but it is located a little way out of the town.

Nice hotel, with solid rooms and a bar with local, that offers breakfast, but if you go in-season, you might be eating a breakfast buffet with an entire tour group. Location is on the outskirts of town.
Troy
Nice hotel, great staff, conveniently located
Carolyn
Great hotel!
John
The hotel was very nice and the staff was extra helpful. Would certainly stay there again.
Hannah
Room was very clean and cozy. Loved having a filtered water dispenser down the hall. Staff were so friendly!

The hotel was nice, couple of small things!
No face cloths, which I like.
Room was very stuffy, and too warm, the comforter on the bed was too heavy for this time of the year! With the window open it was too noisy to sleep!
Staff were pleasant.

Very nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. We arrived early and they put a rush on getting our room ready without us asking. Great food from the restaurant.

We enjoyed the Stay, the in hotel bar, and the breakfast. There were several beautiful things to see nearby like the National Park and even a castle.

Sally

Had a great time and the restaurant at the hotel was excellent.
Joanna
Very deceptive with the photos on here that labelled exterior, these are not of the hotel but of a place of interest near by to visit. Our room was extremely hot when we arrived. There was no AC, and they had left windows open. Outside our window was AC ducting/fans, which were constantly on in the evening and turned off at 11pm it was far too noisy to sleep. The windows you could only open slightly anyway (2/3cm). We had arrived late in the evening as well so it wasn’t a pleasant welcome trying to cool down the room to sleep. Rooms come with a fridge and were well cleaned. The breakfast was a bit chaotic and we were given a table with not enough cutlery. The food was tasty. Overall we felt the hotel was misleading. There are also photos on reviews of a swimming pool which wasn't this hotel.
Gerald
Great staff.
Lisa
Uncomfortable room - nice location
This is not a bad hotel. But it was not very comfortable- we knew it did not have AC but the heater (radiator) in the room was on and couldn’t be shut off! In August! The front desk was incredulous and said maintenance would come the next morning to check and they had no rooms to move us to. We were leaving the next morning so that didn’t help so we insisted that someone come check. Housekeeping came by but couldn’t do anything about it but at least we didn’t feel gaslit!! We figured out how to open the windows all the way (harder than you think) and housekeeping provide us with 2 fans. It was still hot but better. Breakfast was ok - but the people working there seemed annoyed that they had costumers. All in all we would not stay here again.
Regina M
