The room was infested with bed bugs that caused severe rash in many body parts in addition to the mental anxiety.

Took pictures for bed bugs and rash.

The bed coverage is not clean and has cigarettes burns.

The washroom door does not have a lock and gets stuck when closed with a knob to open it.

The lights bulbs are missing and the room is dim.

Our vacation was ruined.

The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful, but this place needs a deep cleaning, the bathroom is just so disgustingly dirty. There was mold all over the place, the shower curtain was just green and black of mold. The toilet has not been cleaned with any products for a very long time. The bedsheets in the room smelled like they had not been washed! Disaster. I feel bad for the lady at the front desk, because she was really nice, but they need to improve the cleaning.

This location was very difficult to find. The building is not labeled and looks nothing like what was pictured. The floor creeked a lot in the room was not spacey at all. Found bugs in the bathtub and ants all over the floor. Let the receptionist know, but she was rude about it and tried to clean up all the bugs and say it was nothing. Honestly dreaded coming back to this room at the end of the day. Not very luxury at all!

The location was very good for some of the popular sites in Rome. The room was a decent size and included a mini fridge. The free breakfast was a disappointment with it being a couple of items left in your room and fridge. The pictures of the courtyard listed in the website were no where to be found. Overall not a bad place as the location was convenient.

Okay for what you pay. Only issue is how you have to leave your physical key at the front desk so they can go into your room and clean/ put the basic bread/coffee. Felt a bit odd since anyone can just grab a key and go into a room. We did lock all our stuff in the giant droors. You get what you pay for let’s leave it at that

the bad - they provide breakfast but it very basic and contained those slightly soggy packaged croissants, the furniture is old and crowded the room, view from room was terrible. The hotel is near the top of the hill which is an issue on very hot days.
Dont be deceived by the name - this is a very basic no frills hotel

The location and pictures make it appear that this is a nice hotel. I would not recommend for several reasons: our floor bisected the window(fire hazard), exposed wires in the bathroom poking out of ceiling and wall, the beds were hideaways, the sheets were stained, the bathroom lock was installed backwards, the shower didn’t drain & overall the room needed deep cleaning.

We couldn’t find the hotel bc 1 email had 1 address another email had different address. Room was small. Half the lights in the bathroom worked. Fridge didn’t work. I notified 4 timed & issue was nit resolved before our departure. We were never showed how to get to breakfast. Pictures didn’t match what I thought I booked. Very disappointed!

I chose this property because its published check-in time is 9 AM, but when we arrived at round 11 AM, the front desk lady said the room was not cleaned and so not available yet. We were very disappointed because the check-in time is not as what it was promised. Also, there was no safe in the hotel room which we were disappointed too. The hotel was a little bit hard to find too.
Other than that, the room was spacious, air conditioner was working very well, and the front desk lady was very nice.

The property is located in an interesting area, with many attractions within walking distance. The hostess was very nice and helpful. However, we didn't particularly enjoy the pastries offered for the continental breakfast. In terms of cleanliness, it was satisfactory. The location is absolutely excellent—perfect for exploring the heart of Rome on foot, with many major attractions just minutes away. The building itself is quite impressive, with a classic Roman charm that adds character to the stay.

The breakfast, delivered to the room, consisted of a croissant with butter and jam and a yogurt. While thoughtful, it felt a bit unnecessary given the abundance of cafes nearby. Additionally, there were no instructions provided for the coffee machine, which made it difficult to use.

Overall, it’s a convenient and atmospheric place to stay in central Rome, though a few small improvements could enhance the experience.

We had a great stay in this Hotel. We only stayed for one night and this hotel was in a perfect location. Close to Termine terminal about 15 min walk and safe to walk around at night. We walked to the Colosseum, piazzas and very close to Trevi fountain. The room met my expectations, clean and comfortable. The front desk was a very sweet lady.

A fantastic welcome. The room was very well cleaned and even got some croissants as well which I think was fantastic. They have air conditioning as well which is so essential in Rome. Overall. A good stay at this hotel. Booked a single room with a twin bed. The positives include great service from staff who were helpful and friendly. The hotel is also located at a great location that is close to all the must sees in Rome. The negatives would include the mattress being old and should be replaced as it sagged at the centre and made for an uncomfortable sleep. It was a short two night stay for me. I would book again for mainly the great location.

As we arrived we were informed that they did not have a room available for us… so they told us to go to a hotel around the corner and was assured that it was nice. When we looked up the hotel it was a third of the price we paid to stay at Hotel 2000, there was no breakfast included, no bathtub… the list goes on. The staff was very friendly and their English was great, but we feel as if we did not get what we paid for at all. Would not recommend.

I spent 4 nights here by myself and was quite pleased. People at the front desk were extremely helpful and kind. Room was nothing special but was a room and it’s better than what you payed for it. Breakfast was ok. Only issue I had was finding it at first. It’s on a building where you have to buzz in and there are no large visible signs. I’ve no idea where to begin but my overall experience was 0 ! For 4 people they gave us a tiny tiny room with 3 beds although they were aware of a baby being on the booking no baby bed was provided

According to Hotels.com breakfast would be in a nearby bar. This was not true - breakfast consists of very dry bread and yogurt. We chose to have breakfast out, even though it was included in the price.
We had to move to another room after 1 night.

2 city blocks from Piazza Barberini & Barberini Metro stop (not near Piazza di Spagna).
Hint - 2 doors up from National Gallery of Ancient Art in Barberini Palace.

There is no signage on the building exterior, the outside looks like many of the apartment buildings on the street.

I walked by it 5 times before i saw the 1/2 inch x 1 inch label [ Hotel 2000 Roma ] on one of the 10 call buttons on the door bell brass plaque.

Basically a set of condos which have been cut up into guest rooms each with its own bath. No common areas, a single person sits at a table near the inner door to \"buzz\" you in through the outer door.

Breakfast is a cup of yogurt, a cup of milk, 1 pod of coffee to brew in the machine in the room or 1 tea bag. a handful of dry oatmeal \"mueslei\", 1 cello wrapped croissant.

room was clean & quiet , could have gotten more service and ambiance for less $'s elsewhere.

I asked about a safe for my pass port- they were going to put a post-it note on it and place it in a drawer.

The only thing I was slightly disappointed with is the continental breakfast . The room has a refrigerator with Some yogurt and juice. Croissants and crackers were provided in room daily. And of course coffee/tea. If you’re American this is not a typical ‘continental breakfast’ . It’s a European continental breakfast which was provided as advertised and actually suited us just fine. I would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here in early September 2018 with our 6 month old child. It was not a pleasant experience. The hotel was challenging to find, dark (very little natural light) and the “breakfast” was awful. The aircondtioning was loud and bed was two solos pushed together. A cot was provided after requested (even though the booking had confirmed one).
On departure, there was a €14 tourist tax to pay. The card machine didn’t work and the concierge insisted it was a Rome-wide issue. With only €8 cash on us, we offered to pay if the hotel emailed us an invoice. After about a 10min stand off, the email offer was declined by the hotel, so we left our €8 on the counter and just left. Although the hotel was well situated in the city, everything else about it was poor. Steer clear!!!

Great location when we finally found it. Never judge a book by it's cover, no outside markings saying it was a hotel so not easy to spot but then none of the hotels on that road were. A lot of the hotels you had to look very closely at the name on the door intercom and ring the bell to be let in. Once inside it was very lovely.

The staff were friendly and nice but the bed has bed bugs. We woke up after brief nap after check-in and saw the bugs in day light. We packed our bags and the hotel staff noved us to a bigger room and you can tell, sleeping has never been relaxing and even though there were no bugs in the room.

The milk frother wasnt washed, so we never ate anything they left for breakfast in the mini fridge except for packaged bars. The yogurt etc was left untouched.

We paid the ciry's tax and they didnt give us a receipt. Bring your soap and shampoo.

Location is excellent and very convenient. Taxi stand and local train station nearby. Grocery and convenient food, high end shopping, Trevi fountain and Spanish steps 10 mins walk. Termini station is 5 mins away by taxi €6 or €10 uber.

This is a budget hotel in a good location. The rooms, bathroom and bedding/ towels were clean. Staff were friendly. However, the bathrooms of the three rooms we went in (2 rooms booked and swapped rooms part way through stay) were' tired' and needed refurbishing ( although as I have said they were clean)! The 'continental breakfast' was disappointing and would be described better as a mixture of pre-packed items e.g. Melba toast, biscuits, crackers. Wi-Fi was weak and unusable at times.

A good budget hotel but definately not a \"boutique hotel .

Great for a couple on a budget

The location is impeccable, a 20 minute walk to any of the attractions in the city and in a reasonably quiet section of Rome. The room itself was small, but clean. Our biggest problems were with how loud the room was. Sound certainly carried from the hallway and was very distracting, as we the noise from the street outside. Wifi wasn't great and the jacuzzi was out of service. The staff was wonderful with all of our questions/needs and all of the amenities were very nice. Overall, a nice place for a young couple on a budget.

Hotel is also safe and recommend to solo traveller.

I really don't have much to say but that nothing was met to what I was told. My stay out here wasn't as well as I had planned because upon arrival I had issues with the hotel. There's too much false advertisement.
