Standard overnight room, small, comfortable, air-conditioned, and a large fridge. Room was missing an ice bucket, alarm clock, iron and board, hair dryer or dishes, etc. for the little kitchenette. Did not see an ice machine either. It did have a nice picture above the bed. They charge $100.00 temporary debit on your credit card, etc. for damages and incidentals.

This is an old building in need of much repair. Our TV never worked, even though I requested assistance 3 times. No one came to the room to help us with this. Worn wallpaper in the bathroom, and paint in the bath area. The front took our credit card for \"extra charges, if needed\" for $125. This seemed like standard procedure, and we had previously never had a additional charge. AFter our 2-night stay, we were charged the $125 AND AN ADDITIONAL UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE of $50!!! with no warning. After many emails (with no response to my last email on 9/23), we were told that there was blood on the sheet. I asked if the sheet was treated and washed but got no answer. I'm sure hotels get discounts on sheets, and no attempt seemed to be made to spray the affected areas and wash them. I will never stay in a Best Western again. BEWARE!!!. My next step is to make HQ aware of this abuse of our credit card.

The hotel was under renovation. The hallways were dirty. The elevator was beat up from them moving things and I was concerned about the smoke detectors in the hallways were covered in tape over the weekend when nobody was working . I didn’t think that was a very good idea and the bathroom needs a second update.

The stairwell was dirty with a pizza crust on the floor. It remained there my entire stay. The toilet didn’t flush properly and the room is just outdated. I paid more for the deposit than my room itself. The security guard stayed on the computer the entire evening. I would not stay here again.

Check-in was quick & easy. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly & professional. He was apologetic about the condition of the facilities & lack of pool, as they were undergoing a renovation. Even so, the room was clean and decent. Breakfast was good - the lady managing the breakfast was very friendly & kept everything in great order. Even with the renovations ongoing, I would return here if staying in the area.

Hotel is sort of in an industrial area. Road construction nearby. Renovations inside the hotel as well. Pool and restaurant are both closed. My room was clean and recently refurbished with new flooring and fresh paint and fixtures. Bed was comfortable. Aircon worked well. Breakfast was a plus.Overall, decent place to rest a night.

It was very remote. Our”brand new room” was filthy. The floors were sticky. It seems to be more of residence hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to my one who does not really need a discounted rate. I slept with my jewelry on.

Virginia, at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was clean. The shower worked fine, but was difficult to operate. During the night sounds came into the room, from the hallway, but sounded like they were inside the room, although the door was locked. For a one-night stay, this property was certainly adequate.

The best part was the best free hotel breakfast I've ever had: eggs with a cheese filling, 3 types of cereal, muffins/breads, coffee, 3 types of juices, sausages, yogurt, and best of all--a machine thst automatically makes you 2 pancakes!

Vanessa (check-in), Tracy (check-out) and night auditor were helpful and had excellent guest service skills. The TV and air conditioner worked well, which is often a problem in other hotels at a similar price. The full breakfast was enjoyable. Plenty of free parking. Overall, the phrase that comes to mind is the hotel offers good value for the price paid. Thank you.

JUST NO!

I was eatting breakfast this morning and someone was mopping the floor. I got up to go throw my plate in the trash and the staff member screamed at me because she didnt want me walking where i walked when i purposely walked around the wet spots.
Then last night i had to purchase some drinks, and the lady at the desk seemed annoyed because i had wanted to purchase some drinks. Seemed like i was interrupting her.
Hotel was kinda dirty. And when i booked the hotel- i was told it was $130 if that on the website. When i went to the hotel, they charged me double!!

-Asked front desk for plunger as toilet was slow for flushing. Was told to ask the house keeper. They didn’t have any and told me they would take it to front desk. Asked front desk a few hours later was told to ask Peter on the floor.
-Front desk person was more eager to look at her phone than talk to me. Kept paying attention to her phone and was short with me as if I was interrupting her.
-Wanted to use the computer in the business center to print some documents and there was a sign indicating to talk to the front desk for a password.
-Went to the front desk and advised I wanted to use the computer and asked for a password and the clerk said you don’t need one. I said, oh there a sign saying you need a password. She said you don’t need one with a tone. I didn’t like tone so I told her then you need to remove the sign or upstate it.
- Overall, the least pleasant experience I’ve had staying at a Best Western. Everywhere else, in different states, the staff have been pleasant and helpful.

We had prepaid our reservation, once we arrived they said they needed a $125 deposit for incidentals (which was way more than we paid for the room btw more than double actually) We were told that it would fall off after we checked out. It did not, it was charged to my card. Contacted the hotel and they said it was refunded not deducted and I would have to contact my bank. Not helpful there and after a week that is still ongoing. Once in our room, we were getting ready to go out. We hear a knock, freeze at who would be looking for us and start towards the door. The person on other side now tries to open the door (thank god for the foldover door latch) when he sees that it is locked he closes the door, uses his room key, and tries again to be stopped by the door latch. My bf gets to the door, unlatches it, and blocks the door as the man tries to get in. He was with the hotel and had a clipboard. He asked us if we just checked in but it was very intrusive to know that if we didn't door latch it at 4pm in the afternoon this man would have just walked in to see whatever it is people do in a hotel room when they are alone. It left us very uneasy. The hotel is in a very convenient area. The outside is gorgeous. The inside is a little cheaper with noticeable corners cut. The restaurant said they were open 10am to 10pm everyday but it was not open when we were there or no one answered when we called. Overall it satisfied the purpose we needed for the night but will stay elsewhere.

We stayed for 1 night and i was with my mother in law who cant go up stairs. The elevator was broke so we had to walk to the end of the hotel up the stairs to the older part of the hotel to get the elevator and walk quite a ways to our room. We had to carry all of our belongings because the we had to go up steps to elevator. It is outdated and not so clean.

My stay at Best Western Fort Washington Inn was deeply disappointing. The elevator was out of service for my entire visit, forcing me to use stairs repeatedly, which was inconvenient and tiresome. Adding to the frustration, the pool was also out of order, eliminating a key amenity we had looked forward to.

Inside the room, basic comforts were missing. There was no electric kettle or coffee machine available, making it impossible to prepare hot beverages. To top it off, I couldn't even enjoy a glass of wine as no wine glasses were provided. These cumulative issues severely impacted my experience, falling far short of expected hotel standards.

Bad Remodeling Makes Difficult Lodging

The first room reeked of smoked cannabis, the second room had a door that would not open with the key card, and the third room had been recently remodeled and had wires hanging out of junction boxes, loose fixtures in the shower, gaps in the shower stall, sloppy paint… the staff were very courteous and efficient at trying to get us into a room we could stay in.

I had flees in my room and when I asked to be moved to another room this was not done. The flees were in the bathroom and when I turned the shower on they came out every where. I was scheduled to stay three days but left after the first day because the hotel had flees and the young lady at the front desk would not give me another room. Her name was Tracey. I will not stay at Best Western again.

The only upside i had was the front desk staff. Kind, helpful, and courteous.

However, my room was not so nice. Light fixtures haphazardly installed, parts of the baseboards caved in - leading into the studs of the wall. Coffee maker did not work, and the refrigerator started leaking large amounts of water. After reporting it, we were told it'd be serviced within an hour. 2 hours passed and we had to go somewhere. Requested no service until we were back. Came back after midnight and noone came so we got ready for bed. Late night pounding at the door and attempted entry even after we yelled that we weren't decent.
Housekeeping ignored DND sign and kept knocking as well.
Elevator felt extremely rickety and unsafe
Smoke detectors in building in need of new batteries also
Overall, an uneasy stay and unhappy with experience overall. I do not recommend staying here.

We only had one chair, an office chair with wheels. No other place to sit to but on clothes and shoes. The bed is to high for that and the chair rolls away. The refrigerator hums loudly and is a distraction to sleep.

The bottom drawer of the dresser would no stay closed.

Most hotels now have USB ports for charging.

Breakfast buffet was good but unless you get there as soon as they open you will not get a table which there are not enough of. As well there was the lounge but all the seats there were take as well. We went out as there was only one chair in our room. I chose this hotel because it offered breakfast. So it was an extra $50 that
we had to spend.

The second day we went down early and got the last table. The food was good and staff was very nice.

Over all it was OK but will look for a more updated hotel next time.

The rooms are horrible and the floors are really dirty you'd think that because there's no carpet it would be clean no, my daughter had socks on and they were black. My parents had mold in their rooms and there was tons of water damage in our bathroom. The room also smelled like cigarettes when we came in, which was not good because we had an infant and toddler with us. It was just for the night so we just stayed and left quickly in the morning. I will say the breakfast was good as this was packed.

We stay at this hotel once per month due to traveling for a concert series we belong to. The water pressure in the shower is so poor I could not easily rinse my hair properly. The bathroom really needs an updating. The tub has patches on it and a lot of caulk.

Sheets were stained in the middle of the bed! Gross! Staff said they were clean, just stained....huh!??? Staff came and stripped bedding at 10:30 at night! Room in desperate need of an update, old beds, chipped paint, stained tub....find somewhere else to stay!!!
