Clean room, polite staff, and a kitchenette. Also has a great restaurant on the top floor. You CANNOT bill to your room for the restaurant service as it isn't owned by the Marriott. Free breakfast in the lobby and 24 hour coffee. Walking distance to the Manayunk neighborhood of Philadelphia which has multiple cuisines and drinking establishments.

The staff is amazing here and work hard to make everyone feel happy and comfortable. As happens when a place is lived in after awhile though, things start to get wear and tear and build up some dirt. Typical hotel slight dirtiness & wear in the rooms, not as pristine as when it was first opened.

Lovely hotel. Great setting, great free parking. Excellent breakfast. We had a hot water shortage but I presume it has been fixed. They forgot to do our room freshening after the second night of three. The staff was very friendly. This is our favorite hotel in the area.

Everything was perfect except the bathroom wasn’t that clean. Someone else’s hair were on the bathroom walls and on the floor in the shower area. Also, one of the towels had brown stains on them. Overall, I’d stay here again because the food, customer service and the pool were all amazing.

We had another great stay at Residence Inn Bala Cynwyd! The location was great for everything we were in town for. We love that it’s right on the river and you can walk across the bridge to restaurants. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. We appreciate that the fan runs in the room so you never hear others. This is a newer hotel - very unique and clean. Also close to the city. There is a Game room with foosball and Xbox - ask at front desk for controllers. Breakfast is great and hot water in the shower. If want a suite, the bedroom can't have King bed (only 2 queens). The ice machine on 6th floor has a water bottle filler! Overall great stay for family.

Our stay here was beautiful! Beautiful scenery with the rustic mixed with modern build and design. My room was also wonderful, spacious, with many amenities and everything worked just fine. The breakfast could have a bit more variety but it was free and the pool makes up for it. This stay was Awesome. We came in for a Family Funeral but left smiling. The staff (especially Dominque) was attentive, knowledgeable, empathetic and a breath of fresh air. The breakfast was tasty. I will say the containers used to keep the coffee and hot water needs to be replaced, (was not that hot). The bed was a little too soft for my taste. The room was amazing, the amenities were useful. I loved the visual atmosphere and to not actually hear the trains while I was resting. The courtyard was Beautiful. Will definitely stay again, We promise. The convenience of Free Parking and Free Continental Breakfast makes it worth the price. From the Cucumber ice water offered at the front Lobby or the celebratory glass of champagne, we felt WELCOMED and VALUED! Great Job!

My experience at this hotel was great! My wife and I visited from NYC for the Eagles parade with our puppy but was nervous about the checkout times because it was during the parade. Neel and Dominique were very nice and accommodating and made our experience a great one where we didn't have to worry for our fur baby. The property was very nice! Quiet and tucked away in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The room was pretty decent with the exception of the dust on the furniture and the walls. The one grievance I have with the property is they did not disclose that they do NOT offer housekeeping daily and my linens were not refreshed nor was my bed made. Other than that, I would recommend.

The hotel was ok. One of the beds in the room was broke, the toilet seat was broken and the garbage disposal had a spoon stuck in it that flew out when we turned it on. The hotel was also without hot water/water for several hours during the day.

Also there is no parking anywhere but they rip you off by making you pay $60usd for valet parking, like you have much of an option. I would not recommend this place to anyone. One thing that put me off was the place was obviously very quiet and they still put us in what had to be one of the worst rooms (lowest floor over parking lot). They did accommodate us when we asked to move but seemed inconvenienced and put out. Really too bad as it was the only sour spot on an otherwise sweet visit.

This is definitely a gem of a hotel. We wanted to stay just outside Philly and we lucked out in booking this hotel. It was a great location everything is practically 10-15mins away. It’s very close to City Avenue which has restaurants, pharmacies, grocery stores, and Target. It has two nice restaurants on site. Our room was perfect and had a pull out couch, comfortable king bed and a nice kitchenette equipped with everything you need. The hotel was very clean and had great breakfast buffet available each morning. There was a very cozy common area with a fireplace and views of the river. You could sit off and read, enjoy your breakfast or have a cup of coffee. There was also an heated pool and games room. All the staff were pleasant and friendly. Tatiana and Ms. Paula on the front desk were on point! They were always friendly and helpful. I did not want to leave but I will definitely be back.
