I liked that it is renovated and the general look of the restaurant. The rooms are small, no coffee, no closet, no iron. Ice machine in the basement. The AC was made a super loud noise, worst I've ever had. TV was good and safe too. The staff is generally attentive, but they did forget to offer me the water bottles that they offered all HH members There was normally one person for check in and luggage pickup, creating a wait. The bathroom wash basin faucets were really hard.

I'm really not sure why this hotel gets such good reviews on Hotels.com. Rooms are small and a little smelly; the hotel is located on a very grubby block of 19th Street a couple of blocks from Rittenhouse Square and the price is not even a bargain. There are lots of much nicer hotels around the same price point. I feel the reviews are very misleading.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is great and the bar / restaurant in the lobby was one of our favorite spots in the city to get a late night drink and snack. This is a convenient location that’s walking distance to so much. I recommend not parking a car and walking or using an uber. Parking in this area is impossible.

Definitely the staff, the cleanliness of the room, and the room décor stood out the most, the décor was actually my favorite. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive, and the room was spotless. The little touches, like the great latte recommendation (thanks shout to seph) really made the stay memorable!

We just recently were in town for a wedding and stayed at this property 1/23-1/25.
At the time of check-in, hotel power was out and was restored at 5pm. We unfortunately had to miss the rehearsal dinner as we had planned to shower/get ready and go, due to the power being out.
The room was not fully stocked with soaps, the had left an empty bottle in the shower. Not a large deal but I did have to go and ask for more.
Another thing that bothered us was the condescending attitude of the housekeeper. Saturday morning around 1030 she had knocked and I had told her we were leaving our room in roughly 10 minutes and we would be out of her hair. We were out all day and came back to the hotel at 345-4pm. I had answered the door and she stated she was unsure if we were in the room or not and proceeded to tell me that we will not be getting any housekeeping service because her shift was soon ending and told me if I needed towels etc. to go get it myself. I explained to her that we were out of the hotel room for over 5hours, she still got snippy with me. Very sad.
The one thing I will say is that the hotel is very close to lots of shopping and restaurants which was nice. The coffee shop inside the hotel was good too. Sad that the best part of the trip was the coffee.
I don’t think we will be returning.

Staff was curtious, and the bed had some human hairs on one side. Lost power for 3 hours during the last day of the stay in the hotel. No free breakfast, the closest parking was $50/day.

Steph at the Front Desk was super helpful and amazing! Housekeeping was a but agressive as they would knock on the door at 7:30am and again around 10am (even with the Do Not Disturb hanging on the doorknob). Room is also smal, however, location is perfect, hotel was clean.

Compact, clean room, good view, and good price for a great location in downtown Philadelphia. However, the amenities and hospitality could improve. They promised to email me a receipt for my stay but never bothered to do it.

There was no Keurig or kettle for making coffee or tea. Only a tiny table for your laptop and no chairs. They also didn't offer complimentary bottled water to all guests. Instead, they selectively offered water bottles at the lobby to Caucasian and Asian clients. I was never offered bottled water and was dehydrated the whole time since I don't drink tap water.

The bathroom had soap, shampoo and conditioner but nothing else (e.g., no cutips, no combs or razor, no toothpaste, etc).

Staff was amazing...this is no reflection on them, but the hot water was not hot... although they did offer to come and sort out the issue, I had already showered.

Walls are paper thin.

Would recommend fully other than these things. Again, staff couldn't have been nicer and more accomodating!
