The hotel is outdated and rooms smell like smoke. Gym is nice and the cleaning staff are friendly. Front desk and managers are not too kind we ordered groceries from door dash and it was left at the front desk. When I went down to get it, the bags were gone. They have staff working at the front right next to the drop off and no one thinks to ask for the room number to ensure things are not stolen. Spoke work the manager and he stated they do not have time to monitor door dash delivery and would not allow us or agree to review the video of the drop of area. Do not stay here if you do not want your things stolen.

We had an absolutely wonderful trip! Tony at the front desk was incredibly kind and personable, making us feel welcome right away. Our room, located near the convention center, was both clean and spacious. We also loved the convenient access to the Reading Terminal Market. We will definitely be back!

Room was clean and in a great corner location. We only stayed one night so didn't need much as far as amenities. We did use the coffee maker and appreciated the glasses for water and other beverages that we bought in the market downstairs. Staff was friendly (acknowledged me at check-out as the person who checked us in - which I appreciated). We'd stay here again on our next Philly trip!

This is the email I sent to corporate. The one side of the hotel is accessible to anyone you do not need a room key.

Thank you for taking the time to read my note. While visiting my son in Philadelphia I often choose your hotel, and I appreciate the service I have typically received. I’m writing because this morning, at approximately 8:15 a.m., a member of housekeeping entered my room (981) while I was still in bed. There was no knock or announcement, and the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door. The staff member apologized and left after seeing I was in the room.

Because the room is next to the service elevator and is already noisy, I called the front desk to report the incident. The agent I spoke with, identified as Lou, responded in a way that made me feel like a nuisance rather than addressing the safety concern. Later, the housekeeping manager called and initially said their staff were all in a meeting; after I explained that someone had entered my occupied room, she suggested the checkout might have been processed by Expedia. This sequence left me concerned about both guest privacy and the accuracy of your internal procedures.

I’m sharing this in the hope you will review what happened, especially how room status is communicated and how staff handle reports from guests. I value your hotel and would prefer to continue staying here when I visit, but I will reconsider future bookings unless I’m confident these issues are addressed.

A beautiful property and amazing staff. I will say that the staff is amazing, but it appeared to be shortstaffed in public restaurants and bars applying more pressure on your service team, which resulted in poor service as well as your team, losing fortuity opportunities. Outside of that, I thought your hotel was fantastic.

The room was nice. Beautiful view but it wasn’t the room I booked and paid for.
It seemed that because I booked it here on Expedia they just downgraded my room. I would have been given the difference in price had I booked it through Bonvoy their app.
They said they’d talk to the manager and get back to me. I finally went down to ask and they had put a $100. Room service comp on my room but didn’t tell me.
I paid for a tower two queen suite. I was given a two queen room on the 18th floor. The price is more than $100.

Everything else was great. The little store has a variety of things and they’re very nice.
The housekeeping was also very sweet. I was so thankful to see my room nice after a long day.
The location is so perfect. Right in downtown across from the Marketplace that has amazing foods of all kinds.
Then love park is on the other side of the block.
My very favorite is Maggiano’s Little Italy, is also across the street. We always go there at least once if not more.
So this is a great spot but you’ll be treated better and get what you pay for if you book through them.
They don’t really honor the bookings made on other websites.

The checkin process was seamless. The checkout/valet process was horrific. There was 1 person checking in approximately 20 people. The valet staff took approximately 40 minutes to bring my vehicle. There no management personnel visible.

I booked this for $170 a night and ended up paying over 260 a night. Expedia did not honor their “last minute deal”
Totally deceptive. I should get at least a $100 refund .
This property was cheaply appointed limited but extremely expensive breakfast. And just a total ripoff, and Expedia did not honor the price for which I booked…they went along with the last minute price hike as I was checking out. Expedia should not be facilitating a corporate ripoff. This is a noisy, unsafe, cheaply appointed, exorbitantly priced terrible deal

I stayed at this hotel for one night and was very disappointed with the experience. When I arrived, my room wasn’t ready—even though it should have been—and the staff told me they would call me as soon as it was available. They never called. I ended up waiting much longer than expected, and because of that, I couldn’t shower or change before my dinner plans. It was definitely not the experience I was hoping for. I expected better communication and readiness from the hotel.

When we pulled up to the property there wasn’t anyone directing traffic so people were parking in a way that made sense. However, we wouldn’t know that valet needed to move cars so after the fact I was told I needed to move which was fine but it was the way the message was delivered. Second the front desk told us we didn’t have a room, then told us we were lucky because they were fully booked. We paid up front in full, why was that necessary to say? We checked in later than anticipated around 9pm so what the room WE PAID FOR should’ve still been available. Valet wasn’t an option because it was full. When we were bringing our things into the hotel one of the bellmen couldn’t even tell us how to get to the elevators to get to the other side where our room was. Then not to mention there was no hot water in the room. We’ve stayed at lower end hotels and higher end hotels and have never experienced this type of “customer service.” Will not be staying here again and don’t recommend anyone else to stay here either.
