Staff were all friendly. The room was amazing and the best was a top notch hotel bed- slept so well. Loved the products in the shower, too. The best thing was the hotel restaurant- WOW! Best breakfast I have had in a long time. I don't hesitate to recc this hotel- it's in the heart of everything and such a perfect place to stay.

This stay was extremely disappointing. Housekeeping did not service my room until I left a tip in an envelope, which made the experience feel transactional rather than hospitable.

Simple requests, like bedroom slippers, took far too long to arrive. Service responsiveness was clearly lacking.

The bathroom was also underwhelming — the shower was placed inside a bathtub, and the renovation quality did not meet acceptable standards. It certainly did not reflect what one would expect from a properly renovated hotel.

Unfortunately, the overall experience did not justify the rate charged.

Overall, fine hotel in nice area. Hotel staff tried to get me to move to an adjacent Marriott location, telling me there was a heat & hot water issue. There were no issues with heat or hot water. It felt like they were trying to free up my room for another party.

Paying this much money for a single bed and then the parking garage being overfilled and unavailable is not acceptable. The logistics of # of beds vs # of parking spots needs to be looked into. There shouldn’t be a massive line of guests having to drive around the area to find parking when hotel parking is listed as available.

The rooms were clean, the staff super friendly and inviting. They accommodated every need request. We received drinks tickets for the bar, food coupon, and museum tickets. Right in the heart of downtown Philly and the Christmas village was across the street. I would recommend this hotel and plan on booking again.

Fantastic stay. This wasour second time staying at Notary. We had an Executive Suite on the corner facing City Hall. Incredible view of Philadelphias Christmas Village from our room which has two windows facing in that direction. Very qick check-in, incredibly clean Suites and amazing staff on hand to help us with anything we may need. Special thank you goes out to Clint from Sabroso & Sorbo who was more than accommodating to my family and I. Thank you Notary Hotel and Thank you Clint!

The room was good, we were locked out the first night and maintenance had to drill the door open because they could not get it open. While he was working on the door we slept in the hallway. About midnight they got us I to a different room. The room was a down graded room than what i paid for. The next day we were able to move to a city facing room but still not as nice. I loved the hotel and the staff was very nice but im disappointed about the experience and moving rooms.

We werent able to use your valet parking due to the irish dance competition. We had to drive around to find a public parking. It cost us double the price parking in a public parking. If a staff would have given us a heads up about the parking situation, we would have been ok with this but since noone had informed us, we are not at sall thrilled. Furthermore, the valet staff did not emphatize with how we felt at that moment. We drove 10 hours to get to your place and for us to not able to valet our car was unacceptable.

The room and common areas were clean, but there was nothing intimate or warm about the decor and common areas. There is no restaurant in the hotel, while the common areas are huge. The Christmas decoration was a mish-mash as well. It is not a cozy hotel, but it is in a good location and the staff is very friendly.

Room was nice and clean, but we did have dirty towels on our floor. Valet was awful and took almost 45 minutes to get car despite giving the requested 20 minute lead time. We stood there for 20 minutes before even being acknowledged, and once acknowledged, were treated like an inconvenience. For the absurd cost of parking nightly, the service did not even remotely live up to it and I would recommend to anyone else parking elsewhere if staying here.

My positive- Love the cleanliness and ample space of the Executive King Suite with sofa pull-out! Shower pressure was very good and my view was great! I also loved the fresh smell of the hotel that spilled out onto to street when you opened the doors at the main entrance. The very pleasant smell was throughout the hotel as if was coming right out of the vents.

My negative- The hotel is located in doentown Philadelphia and there was a good amount of homeless individuals that were sleep around the hotel.

The parking cost were way to expensive, on top of the fees charged to your credit card for incidentals.

I was disappointed in the bath products at this hotel. It is such a beautiful and upscale property, I expected much better products! The handsoap and body wash was a watered down basic soap. The lotion was truly almost nothing! I am sure this property can do better!

Valet parking needs attention. At 6:45 AM on Sunday it was a 20 minute wait. Friends of ours who tried to leave at 10:30 were held hostage for 1 hour to get their car. That is a massive flaw and will make me not return there.
