Valet parking was a lifesaver. They're all about convenience here, and it's great. At the same time they're very attentive. You can text with questions, you don't have to call. Bed was super comfy! Room was very nice. I'd absolutely stay here again!

the room was clean and comfortable. plenty of room.
We were on the 10th floor near the bar and night club.
That was loud on Saturday night and and Sunday . But Sunday festivities were over by 8:30.

The hotel is in a perfect location in Old City and very walkable. Lots of Historical site to see and places to eat. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was fantastic in every way. Location suited our needs perfectly, as we wanted to explore all the history in the Old City. Staff was friendly and efficient. Our room was good for us. Only complaint is that the safe was high up in the closet which was hard for me, but I managed. Great restaurants close by. Would definitely stay there again.

Only complaint is they need to install new showerheads, that was terrible. Restaurant onsite was delicious as well. Would absolutely stay here again!

The breakfast comes from the Red Owl Restaurant which is on the corner of the property. It’s in a beautiful location directly across the street from the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall in a historic building. Elevators were readily available, accessible to multiple green areas. Valet Parking was tricky when there is significant traffic congestion and so little confused on what to do at first. But you can “park” for Valet on either side of the corner without concern just finding an attendant was a bit tricky since a little understaffed for the influx all at once. Beautiful hotel. As for pet friendliness, they do provide

This hotel is designed in a maximalist style: bold, colorful prints, regency inspired mirrors and furniture and lots of contrasts. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and have huge closets. Was not able too explore the rooftop as it was being used for a corporate event during my stay. Breakfast at the Red Owl Tavern was good and valet parking is available for $70/night.
Only issue we had was one day we put the Do Not Disturb sign out at 8 am and then removed it at 11:30 am. We left the room at 12:30 and came back at 6:20 pm and it still had not been cleaned or made. When I called the front desk I was told that housekeeping had left for the day and they could not make the beds or clean it - could just empty trash and drop off clean towels. Was told if you put the DND sign out in the early morning it gets marked off for the rest of the day.

The Kimpton Philadelphia was in a much better location, in my opinion, than the Ritz Carlton, that was also an option for me. Since I'm from NYC, I wanted a quiet neighborhood. The location was great and walking distance to anywhere i wanted to go. it's also excellent for families with kids. At the front desk and reception, Consuela was amazing. She has great customer service, she is friendly, and she is perfect to be promoted to a managerial role. I would recommend her any day to be promoted. There is another staff member namd Kevin that was a problem solver, friendly and customer oriented. I would recommend that he get promoted to a manager role or corporate role because, in my opinon, he would be a perfect fit and a valuable asset to the brand. Don't lose these two talented people, elevate them .

I recently stayed at the Kimpton Hotel in Philadelphia and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The hotel strikes a perfect balance between modern style and cozy comfort. The rooms were beautifully designed—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out with everything I needed for a relaxing stay.

What really stood out was the service. The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely eager to make sure every guest felt taken care of.

The location is also a huge plus—conveniently situated near many of Philadelphia’s top attractions, restaurants, and shops, making it easy to explore without hassle.

The location was perfect, rooms were decorated very stylish and clean. The shower design is the only issue I have, with a partial glass wall that requires you to reachnin to turn on the shower.

You then get hit with cold water until you can adjust the temperature correctly, but also the water flys out the back onto the floor, door and outside carpet. While aesthetic, poorly designed.

On check in was informed we got an upgrade but that was not the case. We had breakfast included but at check in they failed to give us the vouchers we needed for the breakfast. And was only for $27 per person. No complimentary water in room. Saw a cockroach in the ladies toilets on the lower ground floor. The roof bar was not available when we arrived and was closed Sunday night. For anyone booking please be aware that the liberty bell will ring hourly from 5am and you will hear it!

Location, location, location! Diagonally across from Independence Hall and the Mall. Walking distance to almost everything you would want to see, especially the Museum of the American Revolution which was our goal. Comfortable, clean and new .... but the location can't be beat.

I recently stayed at this property to attend a couple of concerts in Philadelphia. The hotel was in a perfect location with nearby tourist attractions and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. It was also midway between both of the venues that I was attending so that was also a plus. I love the rooms. They were very spacious very comfortable bed the beautiful room. The only downside was that the comforter had a stain on it and I alerted the front desk and they it them almost the whole day to send someone one up to clean the room. But that wouldn’t necessarily stop me from staying there again because I loved the room and the location of the hotel.

Great stay and great vibe overall. The location is perfect with tons of food spots around and it’s a great area for a night walk if you want to check out the scene. Check-in was quick and easy and the staff was friendly. Valet isn’t included but the process was smooth.

There’s a restaurant attached to the hotel and we ended up having dinner there. Good food and very convenient. The room itself was a great size. Bed was comfortable, everything was clean, and the bathroom had beautiful mirrors and a really nice setup. Only small note is the bathroom lighting was a bit dim. Next time I’d probably request a room with a better view since ours faced inward toward other parts of the building.

Blackout curtains absolutely did their job. We planned to wake up around 7-7:30 and ended up sleeping until 9:30 without even realizing it. Luckily checkout is at 12.

Also have to mention the rooftop lounge. So much fun and super easy to get to. Staff up there was great and the DJ absolutely nailed the playlist. Her music selection and overall vibe were spot on. Bravo.

Extremely clean room, worth every penny! Beautiful hotel decor. The spa tub was just what I needed. The views were exceptional. I could see Independence Square, The Liberty Center and Liberty Bell from my window. Just outside of the hotel was The National Constitution Hall. Friendly staff. Valet was super nice! The wine hour was a nice touch. The Red Owl Tavern onsite was perfect. The drinks were delicious and the food was good! Very convenient. The Stratus rooftop was nice, but was out of season so not too much of a crowd but I’ll certainly be back! If I’m ever in Philly, this is where I am staying.

The hotel itself and staff are very nice. While we didn't take advantage of it, it being a pet-friendly property is nice to know. Booked a room with a tub, which was deep and spacious -- Separate shower and tub is a nice amenity. Nice lobby bar, although a bit overpriced, especially for mocktails. Bed was not the most comfortable. The bed linens did not feel premium, and were strangely loud. Although nitpicky, it was a nice experience.

The room was great and loved checking in right when they were having \"happy hour\" in the lobby. Good start! BUT, I wish we were told that the gym was closed due to renovations. Was disappointed that nothing was done to compensate us for that (I even asked for a few free weights to use in my room and was told no). Overall good stay minus no gym.

I had the Philly Cheese Steak, which since it was in Philly should have been outstanding, but it was overpriced and bland.

Where do I start? This hotel had NONE of the amenities listed online.For starters, there was no spa, the rooftop was closed, and the gym was closed. The water didn’t get hot, the body wash and lotion were both super strong cucumber scented that severely dried out your skin. There was no complimentary water. I asked for a coffee pot in my room when I booked, and of course it wasn’t in the room. I didn’t even worry about requesting one. I would NEVER book here ever again. I can say the valet staff was nice, and that’s about it.

Major overhaul is needed, everything felt a little old and grungy. They don't offer breakfast with your stay... and coffee is only limited to a short window in the morning. They really should offer coffee all day in the lobby.

They downgraded my reservation with Expedia blaming Expedia for the mishap. I reserved a king room and they gave us a small smelly not clean double room. The hallways had food and trash everywhere including a microwave lol. When confronted with this basic unfair checking in situation of downgrading a package that I paid over 1400$ for two nights on Expedia all they can do or say was to call Expedia. They said they can only offer rooms based on unavailability. Expedia told me the price was going to be reviewed by management on checkout. When i checked out nothing was taken care of and I paid 1400$ for two nights for a small double room. There was no hot water either so couldn’t even shower in the morning too.
The Monaco Hotel used to be a jewel of hotel for its location in Old City and its luxury. Sorry to say I’m very disappointed about this experience and not sure if I will ever book there again.

This is a fantastic hotel next to independence Park. Don’t believe the bad reviews, this hotel is going under renovation and our room was updated and clean. Loved the daily afternoon complementary wine, also free coffee in the morning.

The room was nice and clean but poorly lit, and the beds were very comfortable. I did experience several service issues, some were resolved, while others were not. The gym was closed, which required walking a few blocks to work out, and the Red Owl restaurant was undergoing renovations. While I’m not sure what other work was being done, there was nonstop tapping noise starting around 5:00 a.m. each morning, which was disruptive.

The bright spots of my stay were the front desk staff, who were exceptional, very friendly, and helpful. The afternoon social hour was also a nice touch. While I can’t say I would stay here again, the location is convenient, with easy access to shops and local restaurants

Why is housekeeping knocking on my door at 8:30 am AND 9:30 am on NEW YEAR'S DAY, probably the only holiday where everyone, around the world, without fail, is staying up late and wants to sleep in the next day. Checkout is at NOON, so it's unforgivable that I'm being awakened suddenly by loud knocking when I wanted to sleep in. FIX THIS.
