Loews in Philadelphia has a warmth about it that shines through its staff. In particular, Teran at the front desk was so helpful and kind with a lovely smile, Edgar at Bank + Bourbon made dinner seamless and fun, and Ms. Bullet at bag check with the cool pink glasses is an absolute gem. Loews went above and beyond to make the logistics of traveling for a volleyball tournament easier. And the restaurant offered great whole food and plant based alternatives. Thank you!

Staff were polite and courteous. My boyfriend lost his phone and they helped him find it, which is something they didn’t have to do. The room was spacious and clean. I love the intimate setting of two rooms on each side of the floor. Can’t wait for my next stay!

We visit Philadelphia frequently and have tried several hotels in the city center, and have been disappointed by most of them. We love the Rittenhouse, but find it too expensive. The Loews was certainly good enough. Well run, friendly and comfortable. We will be back.

Valet parking was disorganized & associates were in no rush to help guests! They did not even apologize for the wait of 20 minutes to check me in! I was made to feel that I was an inconvenience! The heat and hot water were not working in the room! Staff did nothing about it when reported! They Blamed it on the city because it was snowing! The sole sink in the room was completely clogged and nothing was done to fix it! I have stayed at this hotel several times with minor issues and never complained! This was a horrible stay! They cater to large groups not individual VIP guests

The hotel had no hot water so my friend and I were unable to take hot showers in the morning. The staff and manager (Sarah) lied to us and said it was a city problem. They stated that the city was out of hot water and it wasn’t their fault. Well I work in the building next door and our entire building had hot water as well as the Marriott across the street. I informed them that the city supplies water not hot water and that it is the facility’s responsibility to make hot water. The manager then lied and said they had no water for a period of time also. If this has any truth to it, then I question the cleanliness especially when this hotel has room service, a bar and separate restaurant. The hotel manager offered to validate our parking as an accommodation but nothing on the $335/night room. What a poor way for a premium hotel to treat its customers.

The hotel was was nice, accommodations and location were great. My biggest complaint was the parking. We were leaving early on our departure date so we called the front desk the night before to ask how we get our car in the AM. There were no instructions on the parking ticket on how to retrieve your car and no phone number. The front desk told us to call down in the AM and the front desk would ask the parking garage to bring up our car. When we called the next AM the front desk said they don’t do that and finely gave us a phone number but it didn’t work.
Basically I had to go down to the garage and wait 20 minutes for them to bring up our car. This was less than optimal.

The Staff is always courteous. I've been very happy with the Loews in the past but my most recent room was sub-par. The electrical outlets in the room either didn't work or wouldn't hold an Apple cube. The HVAC needs work, too. Overall, the place needs some work.

I arrived a little bit before 4pm to check in on 11/22/25. i was told my room was not ready. In the next two hours, I saw the lobby fill up and other people not being able to check in. There was no explanation, no estimate of time until I could check in (because I asked at the 1 hour window). Once I checked in, finally, I had to ask if there would be an accomodation for the wait. I was late for my dinner reservation. They gave me a $75 credit to use in the hotel. Not only did I not even use half of it, at checkout they tried to charge me. Again, I had to remind them that they had offered a $75 credit. In the long run, it was a very inadequate accomodation. Also the room service was backed up with an hour wait as well. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!! My experience was unacceptable for a luxury hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are beautiful. But they are simply not staffed to deal with the volume and turnover on a busy weekend. Arrived to a packed lobby, was able to check in but my room wasn't ready, fine. Took my bags to the bellman, had to wait in line to hand them over, fine. Get a text the room was ready, had to wait for more than half an hour just to get to a desk with someone who can give me a key. Meanwhile the lobby is an absolute zoo, packed to the gills, everyone is overwhelmed an unhappy. Took another 20 minutes to get the bags back. If you want your car out of the valet, that's another 20 minutes too. Everyone was professional and I'm sure doing their best, but if you've journeyed to be here the stress of check in is the very last thing you need. I know the footprint of the lobby itself probably limits what they can do about increasing staffing, but then they need to explore virtual checkin, virtual keys, something to decompress what was a truly absurd line of people on a Saturday at 4PM. If you're coming in the middle of the week it's probably great.

I like thebpre check in. We arrived early and our room was ready. That to me was excellent to bbegin with. The roon was very nice. Bathroom was nice size and quiet. We inquired about late check out night before. The front desk told us since we were vip with expedia. We could check out 2 hrs later. Another excellent move on there part. I use the text message for lotion. They responded asap and i got the lotion within 10 min. The lobby bar was excellent. We had the 2 girls working and they made us feel comfortable. We ask where is the best restaurant to get peking duck. They both replied same place. We were reassured that was the place to go.

We always stay at Loews when we visit philadelphia. Never had an issue until this time. A fraudulent charge of $52 showed on my bill and i called and said we never visited the bar during our 1 night stay. Been 4 weeks and still hasnt been taken care of. Shame. Not sure we will be staying there any more if not raken care of.

When I think of Lowe’s I think luxury this location gave a bit better than standard. Photos are misleading to me. I booked the luxury king with city view my view was of the office building next door. room wasn’t dirty but bathroom barely had sink space it was very awkward. The shower looked upgraded but everything else in the bathroom felt old. Check in was pleasant and the bartender & drink I had were nice. Very walkable and I felt safe to do so alone. Not horrible for a one night thing but I would not return.
