Great location, affordable price, and convenient Kitchen/Breakfast

Home2 is a great location at the center of Philadelphia, next to Phili Convention Center. It has walkable distance to China town and to shopping stores. The parking is next to the hotel (reserved parking online ahead time) . Rooms are clean and also have a convenient kitchen. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is excellent as continental level with multiple choices of buffet including in the room booking price.

La habitación nunca la limpiaron y me he quedado en otros hoteles y la limpiaban a diario o cada 2 días,en este hotel llegamos el domingo y vinieron a botar la basura el miércoles y a limpiar el sábado y muy mala la limpieza,en realidad no limpiaron y sólo tendieron la cama y no cambiaron las sábanas,además nos pusieron un cargo de $300 por humo y no fue por fumar,si no por el cepillo eléctrico de mi esposa q se había secado el pelo ese mismo día,por supuesto que voy a llamar a mi banco para quitar ese cargo,yo tengo una compañía de electricidad y les aseguro que el humo q se detectó fue el del cepillo de mi esposa,se de lo que estoy hablando,soy electricista cerrificado,mi esposa bajo y le explicó al manager pero dice que haga la reclamación a la tarjeta de crédito y así lo haré,próximo viaje escogeré otro hotel,no lo recomiendo para nada.

Our family had a great stay here. The staff were friendly - we arrived earlier than check-in and they helped us drop off our luggage so we were free to explore the city. The location is great, just across the street from the Reading Terminal Market and within walking distance of lots of museums and restaurants.

Hotel seems like it needs a refresh. It was ince modern but shows signs of wear and tear and needs fresh decor. Staff was average. Needed to ask for items that come with Hilton status instead or the normal greeting of \"thank you for being an XYZ member. Here is you member benefit water, etc.\" Also had loud guests next door at 3 and 4am and the staff did nothing to support.

Very friendly staff, always willing to assist with any issues/questions. Very tidy in communal areas. Food was good. Loved the coffee/tea station that was available 24/7! Very close to tourist locations. Overall was a good stay and would choose this hotel again.

To start with the good: the breakfast is a cut above other hotels of this class: good selection of hot offerings and nice variety. Staff is very helpful and responsive. The bad: well, don't stay in room 333 or any room in that general area. I guess we were over some sort of electrical or power generator. (There are no rooms on the second floor, presumably.) It would kick on around 6:00 or so in the morning (thank goodness I had to be up early for a conference) and I'd hear it periodically at night. The manager tried to help, offered to move us to another room for our final night, but I had no time for that. Room was also very dark. We got one small bar of soap to last 3 days. On the other hand, the kitchenette was fully stocked. (I've stayed in hotels with kitchenettes and there was not a plate or spoon or cup.) Location is literally across the street from the Reading Terminal Market.

Everything was adequate. Staff was excellent, and the bed was fine. The room was bigger than I expected for center city, and the location was ideal. The facility is a little worn, and the finishes are pretty universally cheap. Breakfast was lackluster at best.

The staff was exceptional; we arrive early and they managed to check us in a couple hours early. We forgot to bring a toothbrush, and they were kind enough to bring up 2 brushes and toothpaste. They were very responsive via text.

The breakfast was hearty and tasty, the seating area was a bit small for the size of the hotel; but, the staff would clear and clean tables as soon as they were vacates.

The suite had an apartment sized fridge & microwave, along with dishes and a dish washer.

Amazing hotel really great amenities and beautiful property, unfortunately their housekeeping staff was really rude for no reason. Knocked on my door said house keeping and I just replied no thank you and she had an attitude and asked me why I wasnt checking out, kinda ruined my mood. Besides that incident all was amazing.

The location of this hotel is wonderful - right near the reading market and lots of Philly gems within walking distance. The breakfast was handy, but gets overcrowded quickly & the layout of the buffet is illogical & clumsy to navigate.

We had two significant issues that were not handled well.

Housekeeping makes up rooms every other day, & despite asking to have our room made up 3xs, one by the manager who told us he would see to it himself ASAP (which of course, did not happen). we got back at nearly midnight with our two young kids, to find that our room was still not made up. garbage was overflowing, no towels, no TP - it was gross. We called for a 4th time & housekeeping was done for the night.

The second issue, which was MUCH more concerning is that we found a large chef's knife next to the pull out bed that our children were sleeping on. We were folding the couch in, and moved the side table, and right next to where my two little kids were sleeping - was a knife. I contacted the manager, and he said the knife did not come from the hotel. His response bothered me, and he was also the manager who said he would get the room made up and it didnt happen, so during a different time of day, i told a different manager about this, and he was much more concerned (his name was Phillipe) and he offered some Hilton Rewards points. We will never forget the knife story and how easily that could have gone very badly.

My favorite place to stay in Philadelphia! Great breakfast, convenient location in the heart of all things Philadelphia, walking distance from Independence Hall and Love Park, across the street from Reading Terminal Market and the Convention Center, with spacious rooms and great amenities. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone - families, business travelers, honeymooners, history buffs, or people just passing through.

This is a hotel that needs updates to the rooms and much more attention to maintenance. The staff were efficient and friendly and the room was reasonably clean. However, the bathroom had black mold growing in it, the toilet seat did not fully cover the rim and was off-center, the fan in the bathroom did not work at all, and the sink drain was incredibly slow.

my check in was for after 4 pm. when i got there i was told my rooms were still being cleaned. i then had to wait 2 hours for only 1 room to be ready while others were getting rooms after me. i was told the other room would be ready after my event and they would call me when it was. i was never informed and the room was marked no show and now they are refusing to return my calls and give me my refund. never stay here

The room was well equipped with a full kitchen , microwave and refrigerator.
The room was clean and orderly. The room has a table. And a privacy curtain between the bed and the couch. Will come again.
Coffee downstairs 24 hours. Breakfast in AM included and right across street from Terminal Market.
Will come here again.

Room was never cleaned or towels refreshed. They ran out of blankets and pillows and we froze. We had to call the desk 6 times to get a hold of someone for more towels. 45 minutes later, they were never brought. Called again and they said they had shift change and they forgot. Just a horrible experience for $750 for two nights.

Nice stay. Centrally located. Parking right next door albeit a bit pricy. Reading Market directly across the street is a huge plus.

The stay was OK. The staff originally told us at 4:45 pm that our room wasn’t ready yet. Then they put us in a room with only a view of the truck ramp. They need more assistance at their front desk and someone to vacuum the hallways. The breakfast was OK if you want something to grab and go.

The rooms were very spacious, clean, and somewhat quiet. Our hallway was quiet, as out room was by the end of the hall. You do hear the normal city traffic, sirens, and horns....so I would bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The refrigerator size and kitchen set up were fabulous as we had a three day stay and wanted to bring some of our own food to save on spending. The breakfast was amazing. The staff at the front desk were very nice and friendly. I like the security as well (pass needed for elevator) My only complaint would be the shower did not seem to get very hot(maybe its a safety thing- but could use a little adjusting) and the bed was very squeaky. Anytime you rolled over at night, the whole room was awake.

All was well with the stay, staff and property was great. Only problem for me and my boys was the tv was lagging during the nfl divisional weekend! Games were pausing at crucial times to the point that my sons and I had to rush to the lobby to finishing watching the games. Besides that the hotel is at a great location right across the street from the reading terminal market (great food and drinks). Also no hotel parking, but spot right nice door is convenient but a little pricey at $65 a day.

We were here for five days. The breakfast was not good. The pantry items were outdated and stale, while being overpriced. The dryers had one functional, the other was down. The one functional one took almost $20 to get our clothes dry from ONE load.

Our room was dirty and my wife found two roaches in the morning of the second day. We changed rooms and it wasn’t any better.

Only thing going for this hotel is the location.

Water on the floor from a leaking fridge two days, two roaches on the kitchen, rooms not made up every other day as promised had to complain twice. They did send engineers up quickly to resolve issues. It was nicely located. But probably would not stay here again. The front desk people were nice.

The water for the shower didn’t get very hot for the 2 nights we stayed there. The safe didn’t work. More blankets for the pull out would be nice. It took 3 phone calls to the front desk and almost 5 hours to have more towels brought up to the room. The location is probably the best thing about the hotel.

Staff was excellent. Brittany was very helpful and everyone up front was very kind. Unfortunately that was the only highlight to our stay.
Upon arrival our keys wouldn't work and door needed a replaced battery, not a huge deal. The shower temperature never went above Lukewarm. Multiple sightings of roaches in the bathroom and on counter areas.
Bring your own pillows.
