This was a good stay. Staff was friendly and helpful, particularly Andrew at the front desk. The accessible room I needed had a good roll in shower and built in shower chair. The bed was large and comfortable, there was room to maneuver a mobility device, the room itself was clean and quiet and had ample charge ports and outlets that were easy to get to. The included breakfast was good and had plenty of variety.
I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel stay was fine. Checking in and out were easy. However, a couple of things stood out to me about my experience and they negatively affected my stay.

First, this hotel only cleans the rooms every other day. That should be made clear. I was expecting the room to be cleaned. On my second day, I asked housekeeping as well as the front desk for the room to be cleaned. When I returned that evening, my room had still not been cleaned. On my third day, I asked a manager to ensure that my room be cleaned and voiced my frustration that it had not been cleaned in 3 days. It was finally cleaned. I stayed there 5 nights and the room was only cleaned once.

Additionally, I purchased the snack plan, and was still charged as if that were not in my reservation. However, this was quickly rectified after I called to dispute the charges.

This hotel is located in a very convenient location and breakfast is included, but my biggest gripe is that my room was not maintained.

Parking options are not too great. They do not have a dedicated parking garage and do not comp private parking fees. Unless you use the valet service (no idea where they actually park your car) then you’re own your own finding parking. None of this is disclosed on their website!

During breakfast, the staff was always checking and restocking food to accommodate the revolving cycles of guests. Only complaint is that the hallways smelled like weed, but that's not the hotel's fault. Overall a pleasant stay!

Check in on Sat 5/9 was very easy..front desk agent Kayla was very kind..welcoming..patient ..very pleasant! Accomodated my request for a room on the lower floor near the elevator😊Enjoyed my overnight stay..was able to partake of the early breakfast! There is no restaurant as listed on Expedia. Upon arriving there is no well marked area for where to park for vale or check in, several of us ended up in the bike lane as the only obvious option. They wanted to charge $35 for a one hour late check out, ridiculous!

However one staff member on this trip ,need serious retraining in customer service, staff are there to serve the customer ,and not for the customers to serve you , if you don’t have guests /customers then you are not needed for the position. Will still book this location again. Great location , easy to get to attractions from here .

There is no hot tub or pool- kinda bummer.
The free breakfast was much-needed and appreciated both times (sausage links were better than whatever those patties were, eeyuck). All day free coffee in the lobby was great and we liked the location. Definitely would have preferred on site parking, but that's city life. Staff were pretty friendly too.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was very clean. The location was close to Reading Market, which is a must visit if you are visiting downtown Philadelphia. The bartender was conversational and helpful giving tips on local cuisine.

Booked a 1 night stay after a cruise and arrived at around 1230pm, expecting to only be able to store our bags until the 4pm check in time. We were greeted warmly at reception and advised that if we waited 20 minutes, we'd be able to access our room at 1pm which was ideal. Rooms are good size and whilst in need of a little refurbishment, the beds were comfy and rooms had everything we needed for our stay.
Breakfast was excellent and offered plenty of choice, including hot options (waffles/omelettes/bacon). The free WiFi worked well throughout our stay and theres also a bar within the hotel offering a decent selection of drinks.
Previous reviews mention the area being full of homeless people which isn't accurate. This seems to be a city wide issue and not restricted to the hotel surroundings and, as such we experienced no issues and felt safe.
Easy walk to Reading Terminal Market and into the city.
Great service, great price and friendly staff. Thanks Hampton!

Nice hotel and safe. Great breakfast buffet. Extremely local to the convention center but not Liberty Bell area.

It says the hotel is in the Old City but it seems to be more in Chinatown. So the restaurants in the area weren’t as good. We had to drive back to the more popular areas which means you have to find or pay parking. For that reason, I would stay here again.

They only have Valet which is $52 a night. It has a bar but no restaurant. No pool that I’m aware of and its in Chinatown. You need to walk far or drive to find American food or pubs.

Unfortunately the room was not clean… first room smelled like moldy.. They changed the room for us right away which was nice but in new room didn’t have good heat system, we were not comfortable staying and the TV didn’t work at all, disconnecting every 15min, didn’t seem cleaned well, big hair ball was in the bathroom, floor was dirty… we were family of 4, they only gave us 2 towels. Also one of receptionist was not professional or nice at all, hostility was not in this hotel. Bad experience

I stayed here during spring break with my kids. The rooms were clean. We ate a full breakfast every day. Housekeeping do not come at all unless you are there for 3 nights. They don't even through out your trash or give you fresh towels. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
