Hampton Inn is conveniently located near the Philly Convention Center. Our room was clean and quiet. There is no parking on site but there are parking lots and garages nearby. The hotel offers a free hot and cold breakfast and a coffee bar.

Room was clean and large and beds were comfortable. pillows were’nt great however- too soft. Breakfast was good- nice selection. Area was small for the size of the hotel so had to wait to get a place to sit.
Room I had was facing some sort of truck garage or area and was very loud in early morning which woke me up. not pleasant but since I was only staying one night to attend the flower show at the convention center so, it was fine.
One thing to note- charging $150 per night for in incidental deposit in the room is crazy for a one night stay. we found that to be excessive and not necessary. l
Overall it was fine.

Breakfast doors closed at 10am even though we had been waiting for eggs since 9:30am. I was granted a late checkout extension from 11am to 12pm, yet three different staff members knocked on my door insistently before noon, which was disruptive. The person who checked us in was also unfamiliar with how street parking in front of the hotel works, which caused us unnecessary stress.

Didn't stay!! I cancelled my non-refundable room!! Lobby smells of urine, vagrant coming in off the street getting free lemonade. And was quoted a different price for incidentals in person than what was quoted on the telephone. Ava at front desk was very friendly, courteous and patient. Her professionalism is only reason they received the 1 star.

Called the night before to make sure we would have a pack n play for our baby. Arrived to NO pack n play and were told “they are not guaranteed”. If we weren’t promised we were going to have a pack n play, we would’ve brought our own.
They did finally find a pack n play and left by our door. It had huge pee stains all over it on the inside and outside. When we opened it up, there were a bunch of leaves inside and it was just absolutely disgusting. When we reported it, we were told that there wasn’t another pack n play, and again that they would’ve never promised a pack n play to begin with. They ended up finding another pack n play in the end, but this was just the most horrific experience. For them to think it’s ok to put our BABY in something that nasty, it is completely unacceptable. Pack n plays cost $50 at Walmart. I would imagine Hampton Inn can find a couple hundred dollars and invest in a few of them.
2 stars instead of 1 is because after we left, the GM ran after us, asked about our experience, apologized and stated that he would personally make sure they purchase new pack n plays for the hotel.

The room and hotel was nice for the most part. I’d like to add the rooms could use some facelifts and renovations in the near future but I’d definitely stay here again whenever I’m in Philly again. The staff were very helpful, respectful and nice, which is always a plus. It’s a central location that’s close to a lot of different and important attractions. We were able to take a 6 min walk to the Reading Terminal Market, which I highly recommend taking a trip to. The market has so many great food and dessert options in one location. This hotel was a decent option for our trip overall.

I paid for valet parking and after checking out, the valet could not find my car keys that I just handed directly to them a few hours prior. While searching for my keys for about 10 minutes, he continuously asked me what they looked like before I decided to search for them myself. I followed the location of the AirTag on my keys to a nearby parking lot where my car doors were unlocked and my keys were laying on the passenger seat out in the open. Anyone could have walked by and potentially stolen my vehicle. When I told the receptionist about this, he told me I would be receiving a refund for parking in about three business days; however, after four business days, I called the hotel staff who said there was no refund processing or incident report filed. I may not receive my refund at all due to staff negligence. This is completely unprofessional and I will never support this establishment again.

My room was clean and as expected based on the pictures online. Front desk personnel, although I never spend much time with they, are very pleasant. The gym is spacious and for those of us who just can't miss a day of exercise. It has the equipment that an average person would find beneficial while away from home. It is also well lit and ventilated.

Hotel is a 5-minute walk from Redding Market, across the street from the convention center and very close to many restaurants.

Everyone at the hotel is super friendly and courteous. Breakfasts were delicious… I recommend the western omelette if they have it during your stay. The bed was also very comfortable, the room spacious and the shower had the perfect pressure. It’s in a very convenient location. The only downside was potentially specific to our room. The windows need replacing. There was a lot of moisture inside and each morning the air conditioning/heating unit had a large puddle on it from the dripping window. It also left a lot of sound in, which didn’t affect us much since we use white noise machines to sleep. inall,Irehighly recommend this hotel.

The security person Sean was the most helpful of the entire staff. Alyssa had us waiting to be greeted for at least 10-15 minutes. When told about my sons ASP I was told to present the service dog paperwork otherwise it would be a $75 dollar charge but when I called before I booked was told nothing about it and she said they were pet friendly which is the reason we went with this hotel. I will take ownership of the fact we forgot her vest and papers at home. The rooms had various stains and mystery sticky spots throughout it which I cleaned with wipes because I didn’t want to deal with the front staff. The pillows were flat the blankets all stained and the floors didn’t look vacuumed at all. House keeping walked in a couple times without warning, if they did knock we didn’t hear them but also if check out is 11 why are you bothering me? Also apparently NOTHING was in working order when asked if I could have an itemized copy of the stay the rude lady( didn’t bother asking her name) said “no printers broke” and walked away. Unfriendly house staff but excellent security personnel.

Building in poor repair:blackout, staircase to street instead of lobby, can't control heat, elevators not always working
Breakfast: Mostly good. But mid-week they ran out of milk, had only skim or almond, both inadequate for coffee.
Staff unsympathetic. Sh Fellow hotel guests were more helpful. One desk person was head and shoulders above the rest. Ask the hotel manager her name since he agrees with me, and I've forgotten name.

The first room we were given smelled like marijuana so we had to be given a second room. The lobby bathroom smelled like marijuana. The over night staff was on her phone for over an hour she was so loud I could hear her personal conversation. The guests were brushing their teeth and rinsing in the water fountain in the lobby. The large wooden table was covered in coffee stains and crumbs. The lobby microwave had food that had melted and become part of the microwave in it. ( I took a picture) After reading an article from the CEO of Hampton hotels I thought it would be a great place for my family and I to stay. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!
