The hotel staff very nice and friendly, Owen at the desk was very helpful.Breakfast was good.

Hallways were little stinky and need vacummed.Bathtub looked like bleach was dumped in it but not scrubbed nothing a little magic eraser wouldnt take care of..

Room 602 had no heat, we were offered another room but declined since we like sleeping in a cooler room..

This hotel is worn and in need to renovation. The carpeting and furniture in the rooms is worn, doors and walls in need of painting, and the common areas outdated. We found both rooms to be noisy. The first night we listened to doors slamming from the restaurant next door until requesting to be moved to another room. Then we listened to the elevator thumping and creaking all night. Not a place for a good night’s sleep!

It was a clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was generous and ran past the 9am close at my location, which I appreciated. Room was right off the lobby, so it did get noisy at times, particularly in the early morning. Overall, I would go there again as it afforded good accommodations at a reasonable price in a prime location.

They gave me a room on the first floor. A couple feet off the main entrance. A loud huge door that slammed every 2 seconds due to it being the stairs entrance. Noisy. Garbage cans outside were nasty to look at. Found 3 rat traps. Gross. Nasty tv remote. Parking was ridiculous expensive for it not being a private lot. And the two people attending it fell asleep on the job. Wouldn’t mind it if I didn’t get charge almost $100 for two nights and another $20 for 1 hour the day I checked out. Idk don’t think I would come back.

The only things good about this location are the 3 staff members i interacted with .room was not as advertised, hot water took too long to actually get hot . The shower head definitely needs replacing . If you arent going to do breakfast right , please dont do it at all. Hand wrapping bread that ultimately was brick hard . Microwaved eggs? No thanks. And how do you manage to have a toaster that doesnt toast both sides ? ABYSMAL

This is my favorite hotel in the city I just don't always stay there if it's not convenient but the price is extremely reasonable and the rooms are always clean.
It's steps away from Chinatown restaurants, SEPTA, the arch and close by attractions like reading terminal and the convention center.

For the price and convince, it was fine. The room smelled really musty and one of the late nice staff was kinda rude when letting us is after the front doors were locked. Everything felt kind of dirty but again for the price and location, it was the best option for us. There's also a parking lot right next to it which was nice even tho it was $110 for 3 nights but everywhere in the city charges for parking. They also double and triple parked the cars so it was difficult getting out.

We had a great time, some pretentious d-bag was complaining in front of us during check out and honestly that’s my biggest complaint, the room and location was great and the staff were SO nice, and the complimentary breakfast waffles were 10/10, the only thing I’d change was our lampshade had a few weird stains on it, but we’re not sleeping on the lampshade and it’s great price!! 10/10 we’d stay again

Pillows very tiny especially for a king size bed, plugs didn’t work on the lamp, refrigerator was even turned on , main door didn’t feel safe someone obviously had kicked In The door before. This stay was a subsequent one on 12/3/25 to 12/4/25. Room 405. The bathroom had multiple issues: The shampoo dispenser was completely empty. The toilet distinctly smelt of urine on arrival. The tub non-slip surface was visibly dirty from people's feet, so I opted for a shower rather than a bath. The right hand of the three light bulbs above the sink was broken. The sink had no plug mechanism - it had been removed altogether. The bedroom itself was adequately clean. The hallway carpets throughout the building urgently need to be replaced - apart from being visibly dirty and stained there was a major rip/hole on the 4th floor that is a trip hazard.

Owen I believe was awesome. The rest of the staff was poor to average in terms of customer service. As a frequent hotel guest see all levels of service.

The location is great, the room was OK, the breakfast however was beyond poor. I arrived an hour after it opened, most items were gone, muffins still there, waffles, and that was about it. Thankfully was across from the Reading Terminal so went there for a superb breakfast

Would I stay here again? Only if every other hotel was full.

Room reeked of cigarettes. Maybe I got a smoking room idk. I didn’t complain and just smoked in the room. The bathtub had that ground in dirt like they didn’t know how to clean it right. The carpet was greasy and so dark. not sure if it originally looked that way or was just really old. Breakfast was meager but what actually annoyed me is my second day there was no coffee. my biggest complaint was there was something wrong w the tv like it would suddenly turn on to this black screen and then turn back off w this rip noise. It kept me up all night even w earplugs. I even unplugged everything I could reach my last night but it still did it! I don’t mind cheap hotels and didn’t even complain but I should have. The location was actually really great but I saw 2 other hotels at this price point that I’m sure would have been better.

Najay was the young man whom check me in. He was friendly and and willing to help with any request outside of check in. Jay the night auditor was so funny and friendly. I was afraid to walk outside at 5am to my car and he walked with me to my car. Jay and Najay represented sleep in customer service and excellent 100%. However the breakfast was Disappointing; Sleep-In is known for there continental breakfast. The information about parking is inaccurate. The fee for parking is $35 not $25. The parking attendant was very intentional about his job and parking. I thought it was included in my payment when I paid online only to find out that was not the case. Customer alert there is an additional fee if you pay with credit card.

The Good:

The staff were nice and friendly. Air conditioning was good. You are a 4 minute walk from the Convention Center, The Marketplace, and other amenities. Rooms need to be upgraded.

The Bad:

The carpet is horribly dirty. The hotel is dinghy. The elevator went out, and I had to climb 6 flights. I went down 6 flights of stairs with luggage because no one bothered to say that the elevator was working again.

The front desk staff was super friendly. The girl at the desk even offered her umbrella to use but we decided to take an Uber. The room was clean andchad everything we needed. The continental breakfast was kinda minimal but it was enough to get us by. I'd stay here again. If you're on a budget you dont have to worry that you're staying in a dump.

Hotel room was fine. No peep hole on door, air conditioner lid was broken, almost completely out of tissues and toilet paper but whatever. The reason I gave it rating I did was due to the very rude employee the morning I needed to quickly grab breakfast and check out. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6 am. 6:20, the lights were still off and nothing was out. He was in no rush when I said I had to leave soon. Same employee I then had to call to come to front desk to allow me to check out. I won't return to this place.

The outside looked like an old building but the inside looke amazing. It was perfect since we were staying there while my son needed a procedure done at the children's hospital. Good fit for convenient location and friendly staff. The staff was very pleasant, friendly, and helpful! Breakfast included is a good deal, but I had to be on the road before that. The location is prime, and food options around Chinatown are delicious. The bed was very clean and comfortable, which is the main reason I needed a hotel - to sleep for a few hours before getting on road. The rest of the hotel was not very clean. My room was ok, but the desk chair was pretty dirty and I didn't dare walk on the carpet without slippers. Aside from one stained washcloth and a cracked sink (clumsily sealed over), the bathroom was also clean. My window was open when I arrived, so the room was muggy. When I tried to close the window I discovered that the crank was missing, so I couldn't close it. I closed the heavy blackout curtain and cranked the a/c, which worked well. Unfortunately, due to the location, the truck and siren sounds were loud with an open window.
The online details need updating as parking is not $25, but $35, plus tax. Reading reviews after this I see this not a recent change with parking, so it is deceiving. $35 is still better than other surrounding properties, but should be disclosed.
Again, a very convenient location, but needs a few updates.

The man at the reception desk was playing pool on his phone, barely looked at me and mumbled his way through the conversation. The carpets were stained throughout the facility, the whole place smelled dank. There was no hand soap in my room at all. The tv randomly turned on and off all light and several lights in the room flickered often. It’s called Sleep Inn, but the floors and walls are so thin that even mild movements by people in other rooms can be heard. The redeeming quality is the proximity to major Philly attractions, most everything within walking distance.

The property itself was nice and the front desk staff were amazing. The issue was with parking. The attendant was extremely rude from the start and the pricing was not as advertised on expedia. They charge 35 a night but said my Jeep was an oversized vehicle so we were required to pay 45 plus a service fee of 5 dollars. Then each time we came back to park the attendant would come and ask us to pay again and we had to show the ticket from when we paid. Hotel is conveniently located and pretty good for the price as long as you dont have to park.

Staff was very nice and tried to be helpful. The coffeemaker in our room did not work. We were there 4 days and they could not find a coffeemaker until 9pm the last night. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Instant coffee?! Toaster only worked on one side, waffle maker did not cook waffles enough. No juice.
We stayed here while my husband had surgery. The room was ok (except the coffeemaker) bed very comfortable. Bathroom was big.

The carpets made our socks black in two passes across the room and the tub was coated in a dirty layer (as if it needs some soft scrub or comet on the tub floor) with mildew in all the grout. The sheets and towels were clean but there was a cigarette burn in the coverlet. Breakfast was included but sparse: instant coffee, watered down juice, stale bread and cereal, warm milk that smelled off. The location was good for what we needed but parking was $35/night vs the $25 advertised on the web reservation. Easy walking to shopping and China Town restaurants as well as the historic area but you have to walk past two blocks of dumpsters on the sidewalks from the market on the corner. Wouldn't stay there again.

This hotel is in an area of town that did not feel safe, but was close to arras that improved greatly. Charged a fee for checking in 30 min early so we could use wifi for a work meeting. Breakfast area dirty especially the waffle area and over flowing garbage left from breakfast at 3 pm. Room was decent but tub was stained, curtain moldy at the bottom, drain slow and blow dryer broken. Stairway carpet was very dirty. Would not stay here again. Wifi was adequate and the location was good for things we wanted to see and do.

NO sleep for us! The bar beneath the hotel is NOISY. The drinking flows into the street. My 3rd floor window was broken - couldn’t open, couldn’t close, just kind of loose enough to let the street noise waft in around the edges. The partiers lasted until 4 AM. But traffic noise also bad.

Generally unclean hotel, though our bathroom was pretty clean and sheets also appeared clean.

A broken lamp could be easily repaired. But nobody cared enough to tighten some screws and stabilize it. Wi-Fi shut off for an hour around midnight, which also turned off the telephone system. TV is streaming Hi-Def channels but looked grainy and blurred out.

Lobby and elevator floors sticky and filthy. Stairwells disgusting!

Management has really let things go at this Sleep Inn.
