Would not recommend staying here other than maybe in the summer. The rooms do not have individual HVAC systems. During months when the building has the heat on, your options are to have your room get up to 78 degrees, or have the door open for noise and critters to enter. No windows with screens.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the reception area felt very disorganized and the check-in process was not smooth. In addition, the hotel is currently under construction, which was not clearly communicated before arrival.
The biggest issue was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. At around 2:00 a.m. I was unable to sleep because of the noise coming from the room above. I could hear every step and even the entire conversation of the guest upstairs. It made it very difficult to rest.
Overall, the stay did not meet expectations, and better organization, transparency about construction, and improved sound insulation would greatly improve the guest experience.

Was under minor construction room was great.very clean. Bed was broke but nothing crazy. Couldn't control the thermostat or it was off had a letter to call the desk next to the thermostat but I just went about my business other people might of had a problem with this. Was a lil warm for me but heyy. Roof lobby and gym was real nice. Between the 2 restaurants the Irish par seemed to be swanging lol didn't get a chance to stop by it though. Onsight parking was nice

The good: bed was comfy. Room was clean. Location was perfect for the trip. Suites were nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good value.

The bad: shower plumbing was bizarre and there was insufficient hot water pressure. Hotel lobby was undergoing a complete renovation so a cramped alternate space was used - they sent multiple emails but failed to mention that. The only grab and go food was from a basic candy/snack vending machine.

The reservation desk area is under renovation, but they had someone at the entrance to guide me to the temporary reservation area. And people could not have been nicer. The room was huge and clean, and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area.

Pros: The staff is absolutely great and they were the best part of the stay. The kitchenette has everything we needed.
Cons: The room thermostat was hard to understand and we ended up with a hot room instead of a room at 68, which is what I set it to. (I didn’t know I also needed to change the other setting to cool.) The light from the microwave shines out into the room, which was difficult for sleep. These both are fixable in future stays, so I wouldn’t rule out this hotel completely, but the do seem like oversights.

The room that I requested wasn’t even available after I was told it was a week before check-in and a before! Than I was given the wrong information about the security deposit. It was just frustrating. Especially because I was trying to plan a special event for my boyfriend. We had to beds in are room which was very uncomfortable and night that was supposed to be romantic just wasn’t romantic

recently stayed at The Windsor Suites and while the location is great and the rooms were comfortable, the parking situation was frustrating. The information about parking for hotel guests was not clearly explained, and the cost came as a surprise.
For a hotel stay — especially at this price point — guests should either have parking included or at least be offered a discounted rate. Paying full city parking rates on top of the room fee doesn’t feel very guest-friendly.
I understand this is Center City and parking is limited, but clearer communication and better options for overnight guests would really improve the experience.
Overall, decent stay — but be prepared for additional parking costs.

They didn't tell us they would be under construction when we booked making getting around the hotel difficult. We left a night early because our bed was horrible and the suite that stated 2 bedrooms was actually one bedroom and one small room with a full size bed no windows no vents.

The room I got did not match the room that was advertised on Expedia. I was told by the lobby manager that the pictures that were shown on Expedia for the room I chose were actually for a higher-tier room. As a result, I had an old bathroom and kitchen area. In addition, the shower head is very old and the water pressure was so bad. Also, the elevators take very long and are very small. I had to wait almost 15 minutes on checkout day to use the elevator. The AC unit is also loud.

The rooms were perfect with the extra benefit of the kitchen facilities in the rooms, however due to renovation work being complete in the lobby we had no hot water 4 or 5 times in the morning when trying to get ready which was not ideal! The windsor suites is in a great location!

The hotel is going through a renovation in the lobby, and the wait for the elevators is excruciating. Also, valet parking is expensive and also is a painful experience. You shouldn’t have to stress about getting around your hotel - Lots of really irritable guests, especially at rush times. Sound travels really well through walls. Bathtub was rusty and the drain wouldn’t hold water for a bath. Room was fine overall - tons of closet space and great water pressure.

loved the kitchenette. however, there was water on the counter upon checkin. called front desk and they immediately sent staff to evaluate. it was from the dishwasher upstairs so staff quickly corrected the problem by running that hose to that unit's kitchen sink.

Our first room had some kind of brown powder all over the floor and the heat had been off so the room was freezing. The front desk moved us to another room, but the person there acted incredulous when we said our room was not ready to be occupied. And overall the hotel looks far better in pictures than in person. Up close you see all the rusty door hinges and heating equipment, poorly patched dings in the floor, crappy coats of paint, etc. It’s serviceable but I wouldn’t stay again.

Well, our overall stay was good after we changed rooms after the first night. We were given older units that were not what you see on their website so be aware that you may end up with something much less than expected. I had to request updated rooms that were at least decent. They were kind enough to accommodate the request. But keep that in mind.

The heat never got about 71 and it was 9 degrees out. One tiny thin blanket on bed. No area rug or remodeled look like pictures. We got king suite but it was far from pictures. Old out dated, exposed wires in the closet. Was low priced on app so fits that but pictures made it look much nicer. Location and Con Murphys were great.

We loved our stay at Windsor Suites! Our family was visiting for a sports event for a couple of days, and we could not have been more pleased. The location was perfect, convenient to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and other sites. We had a suite, which was luxuriously spacious (a real suite), with a balcony that offered panoramic views of the city. The suite was scrupulously clean, and the hotel staff were wonderful: Every person we encountered was so nice and welcoming. Plus, it was affordable! Thank you again for having us; we look forward to coming back for our next visit to Philly.

To start the rooms telephone wasn’t working so I had to physically go down stairs several times to get them to come up to look at the tv’s remote because initially I was told they would send someone in 10 minutes that turned out to be an hour and thirty minutes later after I complained to front desk for the third time. The phone couldn’t be fixed and after getting a second tv remote that didn’t work unless you were 3 feet from the tv. So all in all it was an experience. The room was also rather draftee around the windows which caused us to have to run the heat at 80 degrees to compensate for all the cold air coming through the seems in the windows.

The only thing that I had an issue with was Saturday we woke up to a power outage and it lasts for like four hours or more hours and the second issue was they told us that they did not see our reservation for the Monday and we have to check out until I show my confirmation number otherwise the place was nice.

Our room was very cold both nights. Though the hotel did provide a space heater, the room, especially the floor was cold. Also, the hotel parking garage is a bit of a nightmare. Their staff is friendly but entering their garage was a sh!t show. Be aware, upon booking I wasn't made aware I had to pay for parking each night even though I was a paying guest was was a surprise and disappointing.

Nobody told us there would be construction starting on the floor directly above us, at 830am. Sounded like a bomb went off and the pipes were exploding all at the same time. Also $4 for a bottle of water in the room seems a bit excessive. Other than that the room was nice but the floor does creek when you step by the dresser (laminate is probably lifting/needs more adhesive)

My room required attention. The bulb in one of the ceiling lamps was out, one of the chair's upholstery looked like it came from a den of cats, the bathroom sink backed up nearly immediately once the water was turned on, the soap bottle in the shower was empty and there were stains on the bathroom door, about 16\" above the doorknob, that appeared to be faeces. I asked to speak with the hotel manger the morning after arrival and was told he wasn't available. I left a note for him detailing these issues. That night nothing was addressed. The following morning I asked again, was told he was on a conference call, but would be reminded of the problems. I asked for a bar of soap and was told they had none, but the bottle would be replaced. That night again nothing was addressed. The following day i received an e-mail from the manager apologizing for the lack of response and action. I detailed the problems once again and asked they be attended to. He apologized for the lack of response. That night i found nothing had been addressed yet again. This time I was shocked, disappointed and angry. To have the manager's acknowledgment yet no action was both insulting and deplorable. I asked for a refund for my stay. He offered a partial reimbursement. I asked for a full refund or his superiors e-mail address. He said no, to both! In 40 years of business travel I have never, ever felt so ignored and completely overlooked. I recommend you stay absolutely anywhere but this property.

Came into town to see a few shows so I was awake very late at night and then woken up at 9am to full on construction. Hammers , Saws , drills. All at once .. I spoke with Cat in the morning. She did comp my first night due to being woken up like this. Switched rooms and still heard it. Then I spoke with Delia and she took it from there . These 2 wonderful people are the only reason I finished my stay here. Cat and Delia went above and beyond any hotel staff has ever went for me. But unfortunately still not happy with the stay. The beds are horrible. Spring 10 inch bed? My wife and I backs are killing us. The tvs are slow far from smart. 3 remotes to turn the tv on/off - volume up/down? The tvs are all set on max brightness? And the remotes you get don’t allow you to turn it down . The tv is so bright I can see it through a sheet.. The rooms are nothing like the pictures and I would know I seen over 10 rooms trying to find a room where the noise wasn’t effected. Unfortunately I will not be returning to the Windsor if I come back to Philly .

We could not take a shower 3 of the nights due to the water being sooooo hot . We called maintenance but they could not fix the water . We paid extra for a balcony room and the doors were broken and would not open . They told me it is due to cooler weather..Hotel was supposed to reimburse me but they never did and it is now two months and snow reimbursement

We tried to rest in the room on Friday afternoon 1/17/16 and there was some king of construction going on with loud jack hammering or drilling type noises
Thin this am on 1/19/26 we lost power in the entire building from about 4am - 645 am. We lost heat and couldn't shower bc of no hot water. We decided to check out early. They couldn't give us a bill or check us out appropriatly bc of no internet or computer service?

Stayed one night and was very disappointed. The room choices during booking were confusing, and we accidentally selected the wrong room. There were no alternatives available, and the front desk staff was short and unapologetic—another guest was actually calling with the same complaint at the same time. In the morning, loud construction started directly above us with constant sawing and drilling. Dust and debris even came through the bathroom vent and covered the bathroom sink. We were never informed about the construction. Definitely not a relaxing stay.

The bed was not that comfortable, felt worn out with no cushion factor. Bulbs in washroom were flickering.. outside of that the rooms were great..
The only parking option being valet was not that great, considering it took forever to get my vehicle in the morning, nearly 45minutes which I didnt account for... the price for the parking with it so unorganized is way too high. With these matters fixed, I would be likely to return, otherwise I would not.
