Didn’t look like kitchen especially microwave oven and stove were throughly cleaned. Hotel was kind of old. No free drink water bottle. It costs $4/small bottle which we didn’t use. It should get a remodel for sure. There weren’t many food/convenient store choices around this hotel. Room was old and couldn’t set the temperature higher to the comfortable level.

The room had no heat was 44 degrees outside and the heat was closing cold air we called the front desk and all they said was you know this an old building and they bought us a portable heater and 2 blankets the thermostat in room said 55 degrees. Just horrible!! There were no bathroom amenities like nothing

Stayed with my 2 children ages 9 and 12 and were completely ignored by the front desk service. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to another family. During our stay , following first night we were all itchy and my daughter appeared to have bumps on arms. Could not get room service or front desk to give clean sheets after visible bed bugs.

Staff upon check in and check out were friendly.

Room was average. Spacious. The bathroom appeared to be new until I saw the tub. The bath tub looked so gross I would not shower in it.

Room equipment made large buzzing sound.

Breakfast on the 24th floor was toast, and bagged boiled eggs. Coffee was weak.

Not worth the price.

Orbitz is the worst. They have screwed up their last reservation for me.

And Windsor Suites have earned my business for ANY trip I ever have to take to Philadelphia in the future.

My plans changed and Orbitz wanted to charge me in excess of $200 to cancel my $145 hotel room. Through the Orbitz portal I sent a \"direct message\" to The Windsor Suites that I would be a day late. Orbitz does NOT forward messages on to the hotel I learned. I was cancelled as a no-show.

The Windsor Suites staff recognized my predicament, and even though my room reservation had been cancelled, and the only room avaiable was a suite that was 3x the rack rate of the room I reserved, they moved me into the more expensive room -- and at a LOWER rate than what Orbitz had quoted for a standard suite.

The room was roomy, clean, well stocked, quiet, and comfortable. This was Orbitz's last chance as I have had multiple reservation problems over the years. In the future, I will use them to search for a hotel and rate, but ALWAYS call the property directly.

Good afternoon,

I must admit that I was somewhat disappointed with my stay at the Windsor Hotel. This was my second time visiting, but on this occasion I brought my daughters so they could enjoy the pool, especially since the weather was warm. Unfortunately, the pool was closed, and I was neither informed in advance nor did I see any notice about it.

Regarding the room, I noticed that the lamps were not properly arranged, there were no utensils in the kitchen, no wine glasses, and the shower was the worst I have ever experienced, as there was no water coming out.

Additionally, there was no breakfast available, which was also disappointing.

I was also charged $57, and I am not sure what this charge was for.

I would appreciate your clarification on these matters.

The room was clean but dated. Very large space. Huge closets. The stove was older and didn’t have a tray to cook anything on. Overall great room and perfect for our family. The bed was comfortable and the shower got very hot which was nice.

Our room was extremely loud, bikes sounded like they were in our room. We also didn’t know they went into cool mode. We woke up and it was blowing cold air and down to 62 degrees in both rooms. We froze for two days, staff got us extra blankets and a heater. They accommodated our requests. No sleep and being cold didn’t make for fun. Location was good and restaurant convenient.

Nice hotel - have stayed here several times. This trip we had a rough start as the first day (Friday) they were doing construction and started hammering in the room next to ours at 7:20 am. Part of the lobby was also under construction too. We were not warned that there was construction going on or we would have stayed somewhere else because I was very much looking forward to sleeping in on Friday. The rest of the trip went fairly smoothly and the construction was only going on during the weekdays. We have stayed in the 1 bedroom suites before but this trip it was a studio suite which is much smaller. The other times the outside noise was a bit much from the main road but this side of the building was much quieter for outside noise. Note that parking is additional - it was $57/day but it was very convenient. There is only 1 ice machine for the whole hotel on the 12th floor which was a bit inconvenient. Security is tight as they have them at the doors downstairs. I would recommend this hotel but make sure they are not doing construction during your visit.

The hotel is generally nice, reasonably priced, and in a good vacation. There is no breakfast option Monday to Wednesday, and there is a single vending machine with 6 choices of drinks and no price advertised on the machine.

When I entered the room, I noted the following damages and provided feedback to staff.

- Damaged leather on the bed headboards and chairs
- Damage to the door
- Issues with the bathroom caulking

They mentioned they noted into account, when checking out I mentioned again and nothing was on account. Ensure you check the room for damages.

The check in procedure was arduous; when I pulled into the garage I had to beep to get an attendant's attention, so I could get my ticket. There was an empty luggage cart there so I was able to have the (wonderful!!!) bellhop Allen bring everything upstairs for me. There was construction going on in the lobby so I had to do some prospecting to find the mezzanine level and get checked in. I was having a terrible day (heinous protest traffic, impossible to go one block to get to the hotel, I was accosted by a homeless person on the street, etc) and Allen was VERY caring. Once I got into my room & unpacked, I noticed a few things. The toilet kept running every time I flushed it & I had to keep going back to jiggle the handle. Eventually I stopped doing that as it was inconvenient, after about 40 minutes it eventually stopped. I was also unable to open the sliding door curtains all the way; they got stuck on the rails (both the inner and outer curtain): that was disappointing, as I wanted to see the entire city without curtains blocking my view. (I had paid extra money to upgrade to a suite so I would have a balcony.) The elevators were majorly slow. The construction in the lobby made it hard to even get INTO the building...sometimes the front door would be open, other times there were workers behind the door & I had to wave & bang on the (glass) door for them to open the door. One time the guy could not figure it out & told me to go around thru the parking garage! Disappointing.

As a world traveler and platinum member of Expedia for many years in a row this was by far one of the worst stays of my entire life. Not only was it inconvenient to check-in due to construction, the bar next door is connected on multiple floors and is noisy and smells terrible. The room itself does not feature anything modern and the furniture looks flimsy and cheap. Furthermore the shower and bathroom were very antiquated. Lastly even for just a 1 night stay the hotel staff rudely insisted on a $250 security deposit which seemed excessive because it was more than my reservation itself. And if that wasn’t bad enough there is no complimentary water (costs $4), nothing is stocked in the kitchenette and I was charged $24.47 mysteriously upon checkout even though I didn’t touch anything.

Loved this hotel it was close to where I needed to be. 5 min from Amtrak station. I Loved the room. Everything was clean and perfect. I only had one issue but didn’t make a big deal of it because I only stayed for one night. The water in the shower was lukewarm. The sink water was hotter. I hope it was the room I was in. Everything else was excellent. I will be back if I need a place to stay in Philly.

Also, this time, construction in the lobby meant there were no accessible stairs, so you had to wait, and wait, for one of the three elevators serving 24 floors.

There was no hot water in the room for three hours. The hotel looked nice outside, and it was horrible on the inside. There was cockroaches, the king bed was two full size beds with a mattress on top of them. No one should park in the parking lot. They were still trying to charge us for that night even though it was full. Will not book again.

We weren’t happy, primarily with Expedia, for discovering a $55 mandatory parking charge that we were not aware of. The check-in staff got angry at us for being unhappy about that. There was a lot of construction in a temporary location for the check-in. I’m not surprised by a large parking charge for a $300 per night downtown hotel, for a $110 hotel I was shocked by the undisclosed parking charge

Great location and neat hotel. Undergoing renovation of the lobby area which had things messed up. Room was great with a great view but needed some repairs. For example, in the bathroom: needed new gasket on shower (water leaked), two of the towel racks were coming loose from the wall. Hot water was out one night but quickly fixed. Just too nice a property not to be maintained.

This is a residential building that seems to offer vacant apartments as a hotel. With that comes residential behavior. Some floors smelled like cigarette smoke, some like marijuana. The “lobby” was a fold out table with a register system. The employees were very kind and accommodating. I asked to switch my room and wasn’t even questioned. The first room was gloomy, dirty and outdated. The second room was cleaner but still not to my liking. I gave 3 stars for the customer service being great! The property needs work and is under construction.

The property was under construction, which caused a bit of chaos, but was manageable. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bed was more firm than I like, but that's a personal preference thing. The smart tv only had netflix and YouTube on it, with no way to add other streaming services, which was disappointing.

The building security was cumbersome to deal with. Guests can only access the floor their room is on. My party was split between two floors, making it unnecessary difficult to coordinate our activities and spend time together.

The bar/restaurant in the hotel had decent food and very good coffee, but was very loud. I'll give them a bit of grace for the noise as it was St. Patrick's Day weekend and it's an irish pub. We were very disappointed to discover that the pub doesn't open on weekdays until 11 am, so there is no way to get coffee or breakfast without leaving the building.

Unrelated, but good to know: there's a Wawa convenience store around the block for buying drinks and snacks. It saved us when we needed coffee and a quick breakfast.

Upon arrival my girlfriend and I, were met by Valet. We were a bit confused as there was no signage that they will park your car for you, again not a big deal just wish there was a sign saying that, anyways the Valet guys were great (MAKE SURE YOU GET YOUR PARKING TICKET STAMPED AT THE CHECK IN DESK!!) The Check-in Lobby I believe is under construction (3/13-3/15), but not that big of deal to me, We were checked in by Madyson and she was great even gave us a list of her favorite local places to eat. the room was fantastic, VERY spacious almost felt like an apartment, we booked the Studio Suite King with Balcony . (Unfortunately I took NO pictures) but my only complaint about the room was the heat was hardly working, we set it at 70 and it wouldn’t get over 67 throughout our whole stay, and the tv was pretty slow. the bathroom walls are very thin i could hear the people above me almost word for word but other than that our stay was great!!

The hotel was just as described in the pictures. My room was wonderful very big and a good price for what I had in it. There was a fire alarm pulled and we thought that there should have been better communication with us of what was going on. But the next day Guest Service Ambassador Catheline Patrick was wonderful at our checkout with giving us information. She was very pleasant, very professional and made my group and I feel a lot better about it. She was wonderful!!!!! This was a group trip that we plan on doing yearly. I will definitely be staying there in the future when we come in for our trip.

It was ok. Being in city center I guess you can expect to hear a lot of street noise which is fine. However we couldn’t even use the pull out mattress in the living area because there were dirty towels in it when we opened it up.. so I can’t imagine what else they don’t clean in the room. You can hear all the doors slamming in the hall.. walls seem thin you can hear the next door neighbors. The fire alarm also went off around midnight our second night there.. not ideal when you have a baby.

Property is excellent as far as cleanliness and spacious. Elevators are a pain. There are 3 but they are very small and only fit3-4 ppl. Takes a long time to come. There is a no smoking policy, fine is $500 if caught smoking on property. Thats fine, but when someone doesn't follow the rules the smoke alarm went off at 2am and everyone forced to evacuate standing outside for over an hour in the cold. They issued a parking credit which was appreciated. Very nice hotel with little hiccups. 15 min walk to convention center and reading terminal.

Unfortunately we need our room switched because of the beds being dirty, the toilet was running nonstop and the dust was crazy. On top of that, someone purposely pulled the fire alarm for no reason at midnight and made everyone evacuate and stand outside in the cold for a half hour to let us know it was a false alarm.

There was fire alarm at mid-night and we had to use stairs to come down, stayed outside in cold weather, and ended up it was a false alarm. Strong food smell in room 607 the whole time we stayed, our clothes smell of food because of that. There was construction going on, very difficult to find where to check-in.
