We made a quick stop due to a flight delay. The hotel was clean and spacious. We were up on the 19th floor and our main issue was with water pressure and temperature changes. The water took about 3 min to adjust each time and the water pressure was very low.
The restaurant had limited options so we opted to eat out. We had a great view of city hall!

Was a very run down room and dirty windows. Fridge froze everything I put inside. Bathroom was tidy and shower products nice. Wall are paper thin and heard my neighbours talking all weekend

The reception was loud, uncomfortable yet no atmosphere

Elevators took forever

Reception team - woman - didn’t know anything I asked and just didn’t care to try and help.

Definitely not a business friendly hotel - the element is so much better

The location of this hotel is great. The rooms are clean. The hallways are very poorly lit, the shades in the room are difficult to peak out of if you just want a quick look at the weather outside, and the doors to the rooms are very loud when closed and don't muffle hallway noise well. If you bring earplugs, it makes the night more manageable.

We weren’t able to check in til 4:00 but Will at the front desk so graciously gave us free drink tickets for the bar to make up for it & the bar tender Q was so friendly & accommodating!!! Room was very clean & beds super comfy! Will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, historic building conveniently located near theaters and restaurants. The bed was clean and comfortable. The room was overall clean but a few negatives: the plug on the desk had old double sided tape that wasnt holding so it just looked like it was stuck in desk. The desk chair should be thrown out. Totally ripped across the top of the leather. Looked bad. The bathroom was clean except for hairs in the soap dish and shower floor. We only stayed for one night. This was our 2nd time staying at this location.

Simple check out, room was very clean, beautiful, and great view! Bed was way to soft for me, but thats a preference.

My only takeback was at check in. I paid for 2 nights, but missed the first day check in and didnt make it until day 2. I was told initially the room was then put back for sale when I didnt check in the first time? If thats the case, shouldnt I also get a credit for a stay for that day since it was paid for anyway? Just a minor thing, but if the room was paid for, why would it be allowed to be resold?

Aloft has a great location right next door to the PA Convention Center where we were going. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and personable. My issue with the room is that the lighting is terrible! The room is very low lit. Even the bathroom lights aren't bright. Trying to apply makeup properly is impossible. The full size mirror in our room was placed in a narrow space between the bed and the bathroom which gave no room to really stand back and see yourself. We were attending a formal event so I had to wait until we arrived at the Center to adjust my make-up and get a really good look at myself. Unfortunately, I needed to make changes that I would have been able to make beforehand had the lighting and space been laid out properly.

I recently checked into my room and unfortunately found the condition to be below standard. Specifically, the chair has visible holes in the fabric, and the blinds have burn marks on them.
This was disappointing to discover upon arrival and does not reflect the level of quality I expected. I addressed the matter with the front desk to request a new room, but unfortunately they were completely booked. The front desk staff gave us two drink tokens to accommodate.

Front desk staff and guy working at the bar = friendly and helpful. This was the only positive aspect of my stay

1) when I checked in, I was assigned to a room with a dirty toilet and visibly ripped and torn sheet on the bed
2) after the staff moved me to a new room, the TV was not working and I had to contact the front desk again so they finally sent someone to help fix the problem, after some delays
3) my room rate was supposed to include complimentary breakfast - the staff told me they were out of the vegetarian breakfast sandwich (I’m a vegetarian). I requested the chorizo breakfast wrap instead, minus the chorizo, and the staff proceeded to serve me a breakfast wrap that still had meat inside (?!)

When I raised this concern to the staff, they said it would take even longer for the kitchen to remake the wrap - I was running late to an appointment and couldn’t wait any longer. They offered me a yogurt & granola parfait instead, very disappointing experience overall. I won’t stay at this hotel again.

Customer service was fantastic. Location was convenient to a lot of walkable attractions. Parking was pricey, I recommend using one of the convention center garages to save a little money.

The staff was friendly and nice, the hotel is attached to the convention center which was super convenient for the conference I was attending, and it was extremely close to a Trader Joe's and Reading Terminal Market for snacks and reasonably priced food.

BEWAREEEEE!! My husband and I checked into this hotel on Saturday and checked right out shortly after. The check in process was fine. We got to our room and as one does we checked the beds. The mattress had DRIED BLOOD all on the corner of the mattress. I called down to the front desk and he had moved us to a different room and told us he will let housekeeping know. He even escorted us to our room. I told him I will let him know once I look at the mattresses again. Once again stained mattresses and the linen had blood spots. Needless to say we went and checked into the W.

We were very impressed starting with walking in the lobby. It has character with the bar, pool table, art work, big t.v. and ample seating. Room was on the smaller size, but we didn't need a lot of space. Bathroom was big though with good water pressure. Hotel and rooms were very clean, a very big priority for us.

Our room was exceptional, the view alone was incredible! This hotel is located in a perfect spot, an easy walk to the market for all the different foods you can imagine and several restaurants nearby. We were able to walk to the Chinatown area and see the liberty bell and snap some photos of all the amazing artworks, some of them in the most unexpected spots! I love Philadelphia and this hotel encaptures it's history and beauty while still being a modern and safe place to come home to after a day of exploration.

Rooms dirty, carpets nasty, bar/restaurant dirty, napkins used on the floor, plastic forks on the floor, dirty dishes everywhere, first night arriving at our room, opening elevator door a kick in our face with weed smell! YES weed!!! When first the hotel is smoking free and 2nd, weed is not allow by law in Philadelphia!! I rather pay more for a hotel with better standards and services. The only 3 things I can say this place is OK, one, they have ground level a starbucks (coffee machines at the room are nasty), pillows and beds are comfortable.

The staff was awesome! The valet, to the receptionist to the bar tender, to the housekeeper. Every single interaction we had during our stay was met by extremely friendly, helpful staff. I would stay again just for that. All of those men deserve a bonus. It’s hard to go ANYWHERE nowadays and have such friendly encounters.

From check in to check out it was disappointing, They offer valet parking, but neglect to tell you if you have an suv you need to find parking else where. Had to find a parking garage to fit my vehicle luckily there are a few near by.
We were their for a wedding, check in was at 3 we didn’t get into our room until 4pm, then we get into our room and it was 86 degrees, we were all so hot and made it very hard to get ready and we had to do it quickly because we had to leave the hotel at 4:30 for our 5 o’clock wedding Needless to say 4 people getting ready for a wedding was a complete cluster f#ck. When we checked out I had relayed to the gentleman how hot our room had been , and for the future guests, not to have it that hot. And for everything we went through not one apology.. Very disappointing

Lovely classic old building overlaid with bright colors and neon in an almost-embarrassing attempt to look modern. The room was clean. The mattress was very comfortable. The heat is from an old-style blower heater and fluctuates from hot to chilly. Hot water was better sometimes than others. Great location, though, and we'd probably stay here again.

Great location. Hard to find the entrance. Only valet parking which is expensive and I honestly had no other choice. Good thing the valet crew were helpful and friendly. The young ladt cleaning the recommended me to a wonderful restaurant which made the trip mosr enjoyable and I was able ro get the \"Philly\" experience. My room was kinda small (King) but has modern appliances. I'll definitely book the Queen double next time. Overall I'd stay again but will Uber or Lyft to local locations because of the valet $$$.

This property is ok. The valet parking fee is insane. $80 to park your car!? No thanks. (although the valet guy was very fun/friendly! 👈😁)
