Booked this place in the basis of solid reviews of Expedia. Upon entering looked like place could use an update.

Heard some rustling at night. Woke up next morning to see a mouse had gotten into a sealed chocolate bar.

Bathroom still had an opened bar of soap in shower and two bobby pins on the floor.

Lighting outside of window was bright and blinds barely blocked it.

Smoke detector was covered, presumably by previous occupants and I only noticed on the way out.

One of the pillows had no sheets.

TV was very fuzzy, hard to watch.

Fridge didn't work.

Bathroom door got stuck and was hard to get out of.

After leaving I read some pretty negative reviews about other seeing bedbugs. While I did not see any. As a precaution I now have all my cloths in dryer.

On a positive note, the bed was decent and there was no noise.

There was a MOUSE in my room! I saw it several times as I decided to leave the light on for the rest of the night. It was late at night so I didn't inform the front desk until the next morning - changing rooms will not correct an infestation problem and it was too late to change hotels. The front dest REFUSED to give me a refund.

First of all, I saw a MOUSE in my room - several times. It was late at night so I didn't bother to tell the front desk until the morning. Changing rooms does not solve a mouse problem and it was too late to find another hotel. Secondly, the windows don't open and the room was rather stuffy. Lastly, the overall decor is, shall we say, disjointed. It was rated 7.8, however, I would give it a 6.5.

I was not expecting much, but this place was bad. Room had trash left from the previous guests and it was clear the room was not cleaned. The entire space was pretty filthy. Not vacuumed in the last year. Trash accumulating everywhere. I booked because I thought 3 stars wouldn't be so bad. It was.

This could be a great, quirky boutique hotel but it is currently let down by a lack of investment and sloppy management. The courtyard and structure is fantastic but the lobby and front entrance are poor/drab. The rooms are clean but the public areas are dirty. Get it clean and carry on the courtyard character to thre lobby and it would be so much better

Very nice room for the price. Stayed 4 nights. Bed was comfortable and Room was clean. Only issue on last day was a lack of hot water in the bathroom. Staff said one of the hotel’s water heaters had failed early this morning and was being replaced. Will stay again next time I’m in town.

The rooms were filthy with feces stuck on the toilet seats. Crumbs were left on the tables and the outside walking area had trash on the floor which looked to be there for a long period of time. I do not recommend staying there and left after viewing the room for 5 mins.

Someone here clearly used bots to gain a 5 star rating when I booked. I showed up and it looked like no one had vacuumed the halls during the last month. I watched a worker at the \"inn\" roll a piece of candy from the middle of the hall to the edge of the hall.
After realizing I had been duped, I started checking the room for bed bugs since there were reports of bed bugs there 6 months prior, and found instead what looked like vomit on the box spring cover. I took a picture, asked for a refund, but of course, I made the mistake of booking through a third party, so I was moved to another room.
Then the staff came back and asked me where I found the mess on the box spring and asked if I would walk across the hotel to show them. I don't know if they had switched out the box spring cover, or just couldn't find it, but I showed them the picture and told them again which corner. I don't know that I've stayed in a dirtier hotel since I was like 20. Disgusting. Done booking third party as well since I couldn't get anyone from this site on the phone to rectify the situation.
Awful hotel. check the other reviews for videos of mice in rooms.

We arrived in Philadelphia around 11 PM and checked into the hotel. Right from the start, the experience was disappointing—the lobby smelled strongly of tobacco and marijuana, despite the hotel being advertised as a non-smoking environment.

When we entered the room, it was honestly shocking. I have never seen a place so dirty. The carpets were covered in dirt and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The bed sheets did not appear clean and had a strong musty smell.

As for the bathroom, it was in such poor condition that I didn’t even feel comfortable using it normally.

If you are traveling with your family, I strongly recommend avoiding this place. It was an extremely unpleasant experience from beginning to end.

The golfers inn Inn was a perfect location for my circumstances! It was half an hour drive to the Franklin Institute and there was a bunch of food options around as well. Room was clean, staff very friendly and hepful, bed was comfortable! the room even had a desk that I used to study during free time. Not bad at all for the price

This hotel should never be given a rating of more than a 3/10. The sheets were stained, the room smelled like too much cleaning product that I could taste it. The pillows were flat, old and soiled. The drape might as well been clear because it didn’t block the sun at 7am. Every sound in neighbors room and hallway was heard. It seemed shady where it could have been a rent by the hour. When I asked to speak to management I was told I couldn’t have that information. There was no email, no phone, no business card to contact the manager. I felt hopeless but thankfully I booked it with Expedia so I was refunded one night. On top of that golf courses aren’t safe to live/ stay by because of all the toxins so I learned so much!

The minute we walked into the room we were overcome with the smell of air freshener. The remote on the TV wasn't working so I went to the front desk to find out if it needed new batteries. The guy at the front desk used it on his TV and it worked so it wasn't the batteries. He went up to the room and tried it and it didn't work until he pressed it up against the TV. He said, \"see, it works.\" when he left, I cleaned the TV and the remote so that I could change the channels and adjust the volume. That night, we had a mouse get into food we brought into the room and again, that didn't seem to be a problem for the desk attendant. The second night had people on our floor that were having some kind of family get together so they though it was appropriate to keep the doors open and us the hallway as a conversation area. The only good thing is that they also brought food with them and probably attracted the mouse to their room. All in all, the best way to describe this place is: a dude's motel where guys stay to golf and only need a place to sleep. It was cheap so we booked it for a business trip but I can assure you, I won't be back.

here for a couple nights and honestly, it was a solid choice for the price. The room was surprisingly comfortable—the bed wasn’t too stiff, and I actually slept pretty well 1 nights. The staff was nice and through pictures and at first glance the property looks cute and quirky. I was given room 310 and immediately noticed the security lock was broken. I went back to the front desk and asked for a new room and he explained to me that they had broken them intentionally so none of the rooms had security locks. The room looked incredibly clean until I climbed into bed and found hair. I'm not sure the sheets or blankets had been changed. When I turned the lights off to head to bed I heard scurrying and caught a glimpse of movement. At first I thought it was a roach But after reading some of the other reviews and thinking about the noise , I realized it was rodents. I considered leaving for another hotel or even sleeping in my jeep. I was exhausted though and needed rest so I stacked everything on top of my luggage on top of the desk and slept with the light on hoping to reduce rodent activity and boldness. Everything smelled like cigarette smoke. There was some kind of domestic argument across the hall until 3 or 4am and I was certain I was going to have to call police. I grew up pretty poor so this wasn't exactly foreign to me, but I'm now a professional in my forties And can afford a little better accommodations. I trusted the Expedia rating when booking and now I realize I must be much more careful and read third party reviews. On top of it all Expedia double charged me, made it sound like my fault but they were able to work with the hotel to fix it.

Lots of things were broken in the room. The door latch was broken, there was molding missing around the bathroom door and the door would not close. The room had a bad smell. And the television was very poor quality and the picture on each channel was fuzzy. Would not recommend this hotel.

Bathroom was clean and if it hadn't been night already we likely would have left. No bulb in one of the fixtures, stained carpets in the hall and the outdoor space was closed. Close to the road and noisy cars.

I honestly think most of the reviews for the Golfers Inn are fake. When I actually read through them they were repetitive and not very accurate. The facility looks like it was nice at one point, but it smelled of smoke & weed. The halls looked like they aren’t vacuumed and I didn’t feel safe. (Mom with 18 yr old daughter). I think we might have had drug neighbors on our floor as they were loud at 3am and I had trouble falling back asleep. The lights from outside came through our curtains so the whole room was lit up. The room wasn’t bad. The heater didn’t seem to control so I ended up turning it off. I’m not too picky but I sincerely didn’t feel safe and did not leave my room once we got in (until next morning). Would not recommend.

It’s the kind of place you would stay if looking to do drugs or hook up with a prostitute. They don’t change the blanket on the bed. Only the sheets. Hair on blankets. The hotel floors were gross!! Crumbs and dirt on the carpets, garbage bags outside the hotel rooms. Inside the room...the sheet and bed comforter were paper thin. The room was ice cold! The bath towels looked like they'd never been washed! My stay was only for a night, thank goodness!! You get what you pay for. Would not recommend.

Staff was cool, hallway carpets were pretty dirty. Place was definitely odd as far as it was clean in some areas but not in others. Had no working vending machines of any sort. Repairs were done along with upgrades but the workmanship was not good. Shower had no soap and pillows were super flat and cheap. It’s what you get for the price honestly and if I needed a place to go for one night just to sleep I would most likely go back. Definitely would be worth paying the extra $25 for a better place if that’s what you’d like.

There was a bad smell in the hallways, and they were not clean. Most concerning, our room faced a courtyard with very bright lights that stayed on throughout the night. The window shades were thin, so the room remained lit all night long. When I asked if the lights could be turned off, I was initially told they would take care of it, but later they said they couldn’t. It was very difficult to sleep with so much light coming into the room
