La habitación estaba muy sucia, incluso había una cucaracha muerta dentro de la habitación y mucho polvo. Nada parecido a las imágenes y demasiado alto el precio para lo que es. Igualmente no tiene mucha luz, todo es muy obscuro.

Not confidence inspiring.

I think their \"Superior\" room upgrades are just the same rooms but priced higher. There is no proof suggesting otherwise. I even reached out to the hotel and never received a response. No person ever at front desk.

Not at all \"soundproof\" as advertised.

Terrace with access for everyone that I asked about before booking was locked and inaccessible.

Self check in kiosk has a terrible user interface.

Rooms are cool and stylish. Great location. Check in was somewhat of a nightmare. You have to check in at a location separate from the hotel which you have booked. There was no staff available at the hotel and they didn't answer the phones. The woman at the desk where you have to go was very unfriendly and rude. Upon booking it said that a hot tub and cafe was at the hotel, which is not the case.

Very good location, in the heart of everything. Check in was appalling. No staff at reception. Had no code to enter hotel, lucky other guests were about to let us in. Rooms not ready for check in when we arrived. Bed and toilet facilities generally clean but room could have with a bit of attention.

The hotel has a reception only until 2:30 p.m., after that check-in is in another building that is 6 minutes away (it's not much, but walking with suitcases is a lot) AND NO ONE WARNED US, this is a clear mistake from EXPEDIA.
The Wi-Fi is TERRIBLE and the cleaning staff is very attentive and friendly, but the people at the reception (in both buildings) are very unresponsive.
On the 2nd day they warned that there would be no hot water for 4 hours, and the terrace is under repair.
It has been restored to new, and it is beautiful, the rooms are super small, and the sink is outside the bathroom, on the other side of the bed (it is crazy to go out with dirty hands and cross the entire room to wash, it is clearly poorly designed ).
The best thing about it is the location, because it is right in the center, close to everything.

Disappointing, poor experience.

I was very disappointed with my stay at Cosy Rooms for the following reasons. The main positive point I'd mention first is the location which is very good for access to the centre and the old town. The beds were also large and comfortable.

1. The noise. Late arrivals to the hotel were incredibly noisy and kept us up very late. The sound proofing between rooms is very poor - you can hear other guests snoring and it kept us awake.

2. The cleanliness. Firstly the sink isn't located in the bathroom which makes washing your hands / cleaning teeth etc quite tricky. The room and shared spaces inc. hallway were not clean. We also spotted a cockroach in the bathroom.

3. The staff were not very friendly.

4. The hot tub is featured prominently on the page to attract travellers but it was empty and unclean when we stayed there - and therefore not usable.

I wouldn't recommend Cosy Rooms to others, and were disappointed at the quality especially as the costs were very high (as it was the marathon weekend).

The main picture advertising this hotel is the hot tub on the terrace, when we got there it was off, covered in dust and cold swampy water in it. I booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub to relax! False advertising.

It is in the historic centre of Valencia, which is very pretty!
Positives:
- everything is in a walking distance (food and shops)
- no carpet in room
- hairdryer and towels are given to you
- some staff was nice, others a little more cold
- room was clean
- airconditioning
- door to hotel had a code (safe!)
- elevator

Negatives:
- cockroach in room
- shower water wouldnt go down the drain easily
- lots of 18-20 year olds that were extremely loud when coming back from the door (yelling, slamming down doors,…)
- thin sheets
- a little far from the beach (40-50 mins with public transport)

You... get what you pay for? The place is one of those tiny new rooms made by chopping up old apartments. The shape was strange, with many corners, making it almost impossible to avoid banging one's shins or elbows. It's also super challenging to navigate around a second person as the walking space is pretty much one channel. There was some overall shabby-chic effect with exposed brick and cement alongside posh-looking fixtures. But, like, jenky posh? The concrete floor did not look clean. There was almost no light unless the window was opened. The bath/shower was a concrete trough, that honestly looked disgusting, but one of us was brave enough to try it. The shower has fixed glass sides, but no curtain - so ample splash-out is impossible to avoid. The showerhead\tap is near incomprehensible to operate and took about half an hour to figure out. I only stumbled across the main shower briefly so used the hose stick mainly. There is a thermostat control but no cooling. It was extremely hot, and without any AC or even fans it was very difficult to sleep. I would recommend this hotel only if you have a penchant for discomort.

I might go back if they paid me.

First of all the wrong date was booked because of a computer glitch during the booking process. They were uncompromising and would not allow for a simple date switch for a date with the same price. Completely unflexible.
Then, Despite arriving ay a reasonable hour between 3PM and 6PM there was no reception in the building. It's not a real hotel. Its a glorified \"airb&b\" type.
After walking to the other location, the receptionist lady was niether friendly nor unfriendly. Just there.
The room I experienced was peculiar.
Cosy is a hilarious application for bizzarely designed. For example: the bathroom sink is not inside the bathroom. It is on the farthest wall away, on the other side of the bed. Rhe mirror is a window that is permanently locked. The counter area is not waterproof and it is wearing away.
There was only room for one bed side table. Which the screws were falling out. The bed side lamp was very broken, seemed dangerous.
Laslty there was only one double hook in the bathroom. It is placed very very far from the actual shower. The whole space gets wet. There is no bathroom door, it is a curtain.
There is a balcony whuch is good for ventilating shoes in humid Valencia weather.
The worst thing about the room is tha balcony door/window only has a curtain covering it and is a single piece of fabric. At first light there is no refuge. The room is bright!
At Noon check-out there was a receptionist.
For whatever reason the add photos button isn't working.

The property, in its immediate area was somewhat suspect, but a block from there you were are near everything that you want to see. Communication was not the best. Had to go to one location to obtain a key, the older women that checked us in was very nice, and took the time to show us on a map the sites in the area. Then had a young man walk us to our room, which was about 5-minutes away. The one man walked about 20 meters in front of us the entire time not saying a word to us, while my wife and I carried our luggage. When we got to the building, he handed us a card, said here is the code, the Wi-Fi and password. Then said bye! The room, had no extras, i.e. no coffee pot, but room service did an excellent job! And, when they say “cozy”, they mean “tiny.”

Location is excellent to all attractions, however THIS HOTEL IS NOT A GOOD VALUE - should be 50E per night or less. We booked a Superior double room with a tub and stayed 1 night.
Check in is at a different location which is a 7 minute walk away.
Rooftop terrace is nothing like the photos and you have to call to have someone come and unlock the door to access it.
Shower was very nice and hot but I’d rather bathe in a city fountain than the cement bathtub!
Room was dark and air conditioning shuts off if you leave, so it smelled humid and musty for a while after returning to the room until it cooled down.
Balconies are shared with other rooms and have no real view (other than a vacant lot with graffiti). Also did not lock well.
Breakfast was at an even further location away (10-12 min walk) and consists of only bread, whole fruit and beverages (definitely not worth the additional cost).
Luggage storage is not locked and suitcase/bags are not checked with owners name.

For the price I got, my 4 night stay couldn’t have been better. I got the superior double room, a spacious enough room with great rain shower-heads and a balcony that gives you a look at the city. It is in perfect walking distance to walk to anywhere for meals or to go shopping. The only thing is that there usually isn’t anyone in the front desk and you must check-in at the sister location, but it’s a short walk between hotels. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you need somewhere to stay at a reasonable price.

The property is located right in the center of Valencia, next to many bar and restaurants.

The room was basic and had everything you might need for a night or two if the plan is to spend most of your time outsite enjoying a fantastic city.

The room was very dark with only 2 windows, one in the bathroom and another one in the room but it was a mirror, therefore, no light could get into the room unless you open the window/mirror.

The breakfast is served at another hostel about 10 min walking which is not ideal. Another bad thing is that there is no staff present at the reception except for a coulple of hours a day (not even at the time of check-out).

We were really excited for our stay in Valencia but I have to say the hotel was a let down. Not only is check in at another hotel so you have to drag your luggage from one place to another but the room itself is set up very odd. There is a private bathroom but the sink is in the bedroom beside by the bed. So every trip to the toilet meant walking back out and around the bed to the other side. This disturbed both of us many times when one or the other had to get up during the night. The biggest issue was when we decided to have a lay in one morning and the cleaner just let herself in. In seconds another came in without knocking and asked us if we wanted any water. Thank god we were clothed and only sleeping!! Also, the lobby smelled like cigarette and on our final day we saw why, one of the staff members was smoking at the table. Just awful.

The hotel is nice and the staff amazing, super supportive and helpful. The room is rather small, the lavabo is in the room rather than in the \"bathroom area\" and there is not a lot of space to move around the bed. But as long as you don't spend a lot of time in the room is perfectly fine. The breakfast is cheap (6 euro) but very limited in quantity and choices (e.g. just one coffee/cappuccino or you have to pay 1 euro extra). The area is convenient and as it is located in a side road there is not a lot of noise.

The jacuzzi advertised was a lie, they only bring it out in the summer. Which doesn’t make sense to me, just looks like the water just isn’t hot enough. No natural light in the room. On two different occasions when we had the do not disturb sign on the door the cleaner still knocked and opened. Thank god there was a corridor. Even when they came in to clean it was very minimal, I don’t expect anyone to pick up after me but something as so basic as to sweeping the floor not just changing the sheets and giving fresh towels. The breakfast was terrible. Very limited and restricted. Last year we stayed in the other site embajador and it was a lot better.

PERFECT LOCATION AND GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY

We stayed for a long weekend on a city break. Check in was simple but note that Reception has limited hours (1300-2100) so worth knowing. The staff were all great and very professional, no language barriers. The room was clean and functional but could be noisy. The bed was comfortable but could have done with an extra pillow. The location is perfect, so close to many bars, cafes and restaurants, also close to the central market, great churros! We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel was ok for a few nights. Room was a bit disappointing as we didn’t have a bath and was in a disabled room. However didn’t spoil our trip. Although checking in was a bit of a joke (had to go to another hotel only to be told our hotel was open (the sign said reception was open at 1 but didn’t open till 2!) the location is in the old town and , although looked quite dark we felt safe.

The hotel was good. My one criticism is that I wasn’t made aware beforehand that I needed to check in at a different hotel first. Thankfully this wasn’t too far away, but is a big inconvenience when you are carrying luggage and are new to a city.

The bed seemed comfy when we went to sleep but my husband and I woke up with pain on our backs both nights we slept there. Shower was good but flooded the bathroom floor, which seem to be a recurring problem because the bathroom door had humidity damage on the bottom. No breakfast. On the bright side the one girl who works at the reception was really nice and tried her best to help us with whatever we needed.

To get your room key you have to go to a different location to check-in. It did say this on the itinerary after booking, but I wish they would have sent a separate email reminding about this. The main area of the hostel is OK, nothing special, and the overall room was large and clean. The main issue was the connecting room which was only separated by a temporary wall which means you could hear every little noise from the next room over.

Ideal for couples

I stayed here for 6 nights with my other half, for the price you pay its great. The rooms isn't the biggest but it suited us fine. I'd definitely recommend to couples looking for a good value hotel in the heart of an amazing city as it is so central to everything. Your room is cleaned everyday with new towels and shampoos provided. One thing to note you do not get a hairdryer - this is an extra fee so I would recommend bringing one with you. Also you cannot check in at the hotel itself but the reception is just down the road so wasn't an issue.

The first impression of this hotel is poor, simply because when you arrive with heavy bags in a dead end street you are directed to another hotel to check in and collect your keys. This is either the fault of hotels.com or the hotel because this is not mentioned in the additional booking info but is included on other booking sites. The room was very very basic and not the cleanest either.

Great place to stay extremely central. Bargain!!!

Perfectly situated in a great location to visit all the bars and restaurants. Hotel was great even though there is no reception in the actual building it is just a five minute walk away and the staff could not be more helpful. Great hotel for the price. I paid a lot, lot more for a hotel of the same standard in Paris. Room would have been nice if it had a little bit of natural light or some outdoor space but we didn't want to just stay in our room so it was perfect for sleeping and it felt safe. Room was clean. They could spend a little more attention to detail in room as one of the lights did not work unless you opened the door but overall the bed was comfortable and the room was nice.

Basically ok, but....

Liked location, working air conditioner and that you could come and go without reception overlooking. But there was a lot of dust on cement floor (no hardwood, no tiles, but really raw cement) and the shower was in the middle of the room without curtains, so it was flooding every time i took a shower. But the most annoying was that part of the rooms are connecting rooms and there is just a thin sliding door between rooms, so you can hear every single sound and movement as if your neighbors were living in your room. My neighbors were whispering to each other, but i was able to hear them clearly anyway.

What a strange shower...

Ok, one annoyance on arriving / finding the hotel was to go to the sister hotel in order to get the keys / passcode for entry. So go to the other hotel first as there is no reception. The room was nice, decorated in a spartan, minimal way, but fully functional and kind of quirky, with original roof beams, high ceilings and a nice balcony ( overlooking nothing but in a quiet neigborhood ). The bed was a proper double and very comfortable, but what was a bit weird was the bathroom didnt have room for a shower, so the shower is in the bedroom and is not curtained off, but a large concrete bathtub structure ( not a bathtub ) with a high power shower attached. Its a quirky room, but the location is very good, very easy to explore the area from the hotel and a nice bed to sleep in at night.

Great location - no bathroom door

The location of this was perfect, right next to the Lonja and Mercado de Valencia. The room also had a lovely balcony. The downside...no bathroom door. While I enjoyed the stay, it is hard to fully enjoy when the person in the room with you can see and hear everything that happens in the bathroom. Privacy is a must when you need to use the loo! Any kind of door would really be appreciated!!

Well placed in the old quarter it is a handy hotel tho the trip to the sister hotel where the reception is was a tad inconvenient but the staff were lovely. Comfy giant bed.....the huge bath and shower by the bed seemed odd as there was a shower etc in the bathroom. ...tho I really enjoyed a soak in the tub. We were there for fuve nights and would deffo go back.

Awful awful experience. Ding Dong Nuns is far from the main hotel. The staff is friendly but refused to come with us even though we said we had been driving around in circles for over 2 hours. Caution - Valencia has a lot of one way streets, so if you are driving getting to the DING DONG hotels is virtually impossible unless you park far and lug your luggage around.

Hotel can be noisy, lots of young people for parties. Our experience and stay was just horrible.

My bed was a california king size bed - a tad to large for the room, but very nice to sleep in...

Good value quirkiness.

If you want a massive room with a view, then this place won't suit you. If you need a comfy, quirky place to crash in, then this is great value.

The room made excellent use of space, and suited me down to the ground. Quite stylishly decorated, with a lovely shower room. Perfectly situated in the old town for the tourist sights. The room wasn't terribly big but the bed was huge and very comfortable.

Only drawback was that the hallway in the room was only lit when the door was open, making it quite dark back there. A light in the hallway so you could actually see in the wardrobe would be perfect. If you need natural light in the room, you just open the window behind the mirror.

I was aware that you had to check in at another building as they make this clear in the booking email and it's just a 5 minute easy walk away so I didn't find this a great pain at all. Pleasant reception staff and you can leave your bags here after check-out which is a very respectable time of midday.

good value and very pleasant

nice modern hotel, comfortable and clean, and quiet, easy to find. Friendly check in and breakfast bar staff, but check-in and key collection away from premises is a bit awkward, could be made a bit easier if clear diections to the Telas bike tour shop were available in a few other languages besides Catalan. Just five minutes away if you don't get lost!

Hotel for young or sole travelers

The reception is some 6 minutes away. Though this is stated I believe it should be emphasized on the site. Basically if the card to open main door does not work you have to find your way through narrow roads etc. by car it's difficult to get to reception.
Each room has no phone to contact hotel and no staff in hotel especially at night
Though room clean,bath is opposite bed
Light in room limited especially in closet area , whilst there is absolutely no furniture in the bedroom, not even a chair.

Basic hotel no frills

Arrived at hotel to find directions to sister hotel where we had to check in found sister hotel and instead of going straight back to our hotel and going out again for dinner, we ate on the way back which meant we didn't get to our room until 0030. We found the room had been left untouched/uncleaned after previous occupants left. Informed 24hr reception situated nearby at sister hotel who arranged for us to sleep in another room for the night. We had to vacate this room by 10am for new occupants to check in. We were told that our original room would be cleaned and ready for us by 1400. Frankly I think our room should have been cleaned first thing however it was not seen to until at least midday.we were able to leave our bags in our original room and head out for the day. Although the issue was dealt with I didn't feel it was dealt with as quickly as it could have been. We were also informed by a party of seven that each checked in to their own rooms to find them already occupied.
Once settled in we were provided with fresh towels everyday and new shower gel etc. we had a massive bath in the bedroom and a shower ensuite. Bed was huge and comfortable. Air con worked. View from room looks out on to rubble car park. No tea coffee making facilities or water bottles or hair dryer.
Close to old town. Five min walk to lovely central market. Closest tube station to hotel is xativier on metro line 5 which goes to airport and straight through to marina where beach is lovely.

Pulizia terribili, sporco, rotto, muffa, finestre che si aprono anche chiuse, nessuna insonorizzazione dei rumori esternie interni [dava su un cantiere]..nessuna vista per chi l'aspetta.
Lo sconsiglio vivamente, noi siamo andati perdendo una notte. Impossible stare in questo posto lurido. È da chiudere e rifare tutto. Caro, abbiamo speso 25 euro in più al giorno in un 4 stelle a 7 min.

Oli hieman haastellista löytää paikka, joka toimi vastaanottona ja josta saimme avaimen. Varsinainen hotelli oli n. 5 min kävelymatkan päässä, sekin hieman haasteellinen löytää lyhyeltä kujalta.
Hotellihuone oli muutoin ok mutta mielenkiintoinen ratkaisu oli, että suihku oli samassa tilassa ilman mitään seinämää tai muuta yksityisyyttä. Vieressä oli myös ilmeisesti iso kylpyamme tmv.mutta vettä siihen ei tullut. Ilmastointi toimi vain hetken aikaa pienellä teholla.
Aamiainen oli ok, parasta oli naishenkilö, joka vastasi aamupalatarjoilusta.
