Small, but functional bedroom, bed was comfortable.. Staff were friendly.. Breakfast was limited and basic.. Hotel is situated in a great location, walkable from Metro line, plenty of history to be seen nearby.. Valencia has good transport links..

- The hotel is above a restaurant and LOUD noise carries thru the hotel including when dragging of tables and chairs.
- next door is renovating - so at 8am the construction starts with hammering and loud noise.
- noise is an issue for that hotel

The hotel is in a perfect location for a trip to the old town , we stayed in the junior suite which was perfect for 3 of us , very quiet and with the added bonus of our own terrace , we loved it and would have no hesitation recommending this hotel

Hotel El Siglo was amazing - it is in the perfect location right by a beautiful church and in a bustling town square. The beach is a 20 min drive away but we didn’t mind, as we only did one beach day during our trip. It had great AC, a beautiful balcony, and a lovely bath and shower.

The view from our room looking out over the river valley was one of the best views on our trip. It’s high up on the road so you see about as much as you can. Everyone was very nice. The taxi we called waited for us a few minutes early to side the building and got us to the train. The number 1 and 2 bus gets you up to plaza mayor and beyond, respectively. Cuenca is absolutely charming and this place made it a wonderful place to be.

We were warmly welcomed by Emily at reception who was fantastic and made sure the bags were delivered to our room when we could check in (we arrived early). The room was clean and tidy, bed comfortable, though with the bath in the bedroom there was not much room to open your suitcase other than on the bed. We were on level 3 and wifi speed was very slow.
There was an unpleasant persistent odour from the bathroom, but we were assured it was just the smell of the cleaning products, not so sure. We appreciate it’s difficult to ventilate old buildings
Entry to reception (on level 1), was through the restaurant, which was a bit unusual when looking for the hotel. We did have a good view of the street below.

Muy bien ubicado si quieres estar en el centro histórico y equidistante a todas las atracciones turísticas, incluida la estación de trenes. A pesar del ruido callejero, la habitación es hermética. El restaurante en los bajos, del mismo nombre, es excelente. El desayuno es copioso, variado y la calidad inmejorable. L@s camarer@s amables y atent@s. Lo único que no me gustó fue la distribución del baño...un hotel tan bonito se merecía mejores calidades. No obstante, si vuelvo a Valencia, repetiré estancia en este hotel sin vacilación.

Yes, the room was small and I do not know where 2 people would put their luggage but I loved it. You could open the balcony doors and hear the street muscians and the church bells and people watch. Nice shower. Nice whirlpool tub with lavender bath salts.
So close to everything. It is a different experience than a regular hotel. I would stay here again.

The hotel is very well located. We arrived around 10 and we were quickly checked in by the restaurant staff and given our key to the room. The room is very small but efficient and clean. The bathroom however, is tiny, it was added with a glass wall and a swing glass door to enter it. If you're a little heavy you won't make it inside or not get inside the shower. The door opens to some extent and hits the sink, same with the shower door. The shower is poorly finished and in black, kind of slippery. The water from the shower leaked into the bedroom, good it was just enough to soak one towel. Be aware of your body size because you will not be able to get in the shower. 5'5 and 133 lbs and it was difficult for me.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we were in had modern fixtures and finishes, but was too small for two people to move easily around the large bed. Location is convenient for walking to restaurants, shops, and tourist sites. The street entry is through the restaurant dining room which was a little confusing when we were first looking for the hotel.

This hotel is small- elevator, room, all of it. But it’s a gorgeous location. The Cathedral is in the plaza right by the hotel and we opened our balcony doors and let in the fresh air and breeze and listened to people downstairs at the restaurant and the musicians playing on the street. So cool

I stayed midweek at the hotel for 2 nights as a solo traveller. Despite the super central location, I didn't have any noise issues except for the restaurant closing downstairs, which was only for around 5-10 minutes.

The double interior room was perfectly clean; there are a couple of things that maybe take away from the overall finish, such as the shower (the door leaked, and I struggled to get the overhead shower to stay on) but all things that are perfectly manageable.

Service was efficient at check-in/out.

Overall, for the location and price, I was happy with my stay.

Hotel is more of a restaurant than a hotel. Property is both a restaurant & a hotel. So less emphasis is given to hotel customers. They cater more attention to restaurant customers. Also, you order food from their menu with a specific listed price then bill you differently. Their excuse is menu price is only good for one person. I will not definitely recommend this hotel.

My room flooded both times I took a shower. It was a lucky coincidence that my clothes/suitcase weren't on the floor where it flooded.

The rooms are small but sufficient, shower temperature was good, an elevator is available. I paid a discounted rate around $50/night which seemed fair but I would have been disappointed if I had paid full price.

Great location but it really stops there. The property is very tired inside, full of flies and only accessibly by horrible stairs or a rickety lift. The room itself had a strong smell of drains and was dirty - grimy bathroom and flooring. The terrace is accessible by leaving your room and entering via a smoke-smelling staircase. I really struggle to understand how this is a VIP property if it’s in this condition or if they don’t even give out the benefits.

Excelent location. It can be noisy outside, but the sound proof windows did an wonderful job. The entrance to the hotel is deceiving, you have to walk into a little cafe towards a little door in the back, but I discovered it doesn’t represent the hood staff and great room I got.

The location was great to walk around and see the sights. However it was ridiculously loud until around 11pm at night with street buskers singing quite literally bang outside the door. The room itself was very dirty and had many what appeared to be leak stains on the walls. There is a restaurant underneath the hotel which you have to walk through to enter the hotel and it honestly stinks of damp/ mould . When asked if they could arrange a taxi for me to the airport they flat out said no- REALLY NOT what i expect from a ' vip' expedia hotel at all.

Great hotel in the historical center of Valencia. Our room had an amazing view over the Placa de Santa Caterina Street as well as Torre de Santa Catalina.

The room had a small, beautiful balcony where one could enjoy the view and feel the atmosphere of the city at any point of the day.

Valencia Cathedral is less than 5 walking distance from the hotel and there are also plenty of great restaurants as this is really the heart of the city.

The only downside was that currently there is some construction work done at Placa de la Reina and one could hear the noise in the morning if they keep the windows open. However, this did not impact our experience, as construction work would finish relatively early in the afternoon. The room also has air conditioning.

The staff was extremely nice and helpful: they allowed us to leave the luggage at the reception when we arrived before check in time. On the leaving day, we were able to leave the luggage at the reception after check out, and we were still able to enjoy a day in Valencia as our flight was in the evening. We were also given free bottles of water, tea and coffee and new toiletries every day.

You can use the public transport to reach the beach (Platja del Cabanyal) in less than 45 mins.

Overall, I highly recommend Hotel El Siglo, in particular if you care about quality/price and location.

Located in plaza de la Reina in the town centre, it's minutes walk away from the cathedral, jardin de turin etc. Reception is open until 3 pm however the restaurant downstairs is open until midnight so the restaurant staff can help as well when there is no one upstairs. I had lunch at the restaurant and the food was really good. My room had a view of the town centre, it looks like it's an apartment building that was turned into a hotel but it does have the amenities that an hotel offers: tea and coffee, toiletries, towels, safe etc.

Hotel is ideally located in the historic old town & despite it's location, it's very quiet at night. It's convenient to get to by bus/metro. Rooms are cleaned daily (a welcome change to the usual \"can't clean due to COVID\") & staff are friendly. The breakfast is in the bar/restaurant that is on the ground floor. My one disappointment is the picture of the roof garden as the main hotel picture. This is misleading as the roof garden was only available if you were booked in Room 401 - the website is misleading

Great city centre hotel. Rooms are clean & adequately sized lovely bathroom & spa bath. Triple glazed with blackout curtains eliminates any noise, even the cathedral bells,& light.
Staff very helpful & the food downstairs was fabulous, especially the Churros & chocolate.

Ideally situated, character hotel in the centre

Ideally situated for sightseeing, restaurants and shops, the hotel has been sensitively converted from an old horchateria. The ground floor café bar retains many of the original features.
Our room overlooked the street and had French windows and a small balcony. The decor was stylish, with good quality furnishings and facilities, including a spacious and modern bathroom with walk-in shower. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable, if a little small.
The staff were friendly and efficient, and we would definitely stay again.

Hotel Is located inside a restaurant. But it is easy to locate. Very perfect location. Food at restaurant is good as well.

Room is small, balcony has good views of tower and walking street. Street can be noisy but bearable once doors are closed.

Toilet and store for staffs are located at level 1, so may experience some disturbance when they close the restaurant for the night or open for the day.

There's elevator in the hotel for easy access to the rooms.

Room was clean and tidy. We had the top floor room 401 with a terrace which is upstairs. The room has character but beware the low ceilings in the lounge area!

Super Central hotel!

Lovely little hotel bang in the centre of all the tourist spots. The hotel is above a restaurant and right next to the cathedral. Our room overlooked the main street, but once the patio doors were shut, it was lovely and quiet. Nice bed, fantastic powerful shower. Robes, slippers, tea/coffee and water all in the room.
The rooms are very small BUT I don't go on hoilday to spend a massive amount of time in the room!
The restaurant serves a good choice for breakfast and wonderful churros.
The reception shuts at 6pm, so the restaurant staff will check you in after that. I'd stay here again for its fantastic location!

Excellent location , right in the middle of everything. This is a 3 star hotel, just 8 rooms. We had the one on the top floor with access to a private terrace overlooking the old town Valencia. A very interesting concept on how to get out on the terrace, a different door in the room. Very pleased with this. The room, being on the top floor was angled like an attic, we had to get used to it but it was comfortable, clean, basic decorated. The bathroom had a large shower and a lot of toiletries to use. Breakfast was served in the small restaurant on the premises, very tasty, a variety of dishes plus coffee, teas and of course the freshly squeezed orange juice. Very good service. Highly recommend it in Valencia for location, service, breakfast and very interesting room.

A lovely little hotel right in the centre of the city. Just a few steps from the tour bus stop and taxi rank.
The staff were welcoming. We arrived about 8.30pm when reception was closed so had to go to the restaurant. The lady that checked us in couldn’t have been more helpful.
We had the junior suite with a private terrace (on the floor above the room). It had two double beds, a hot tub and private bathroom. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Included in the room was a kettle, safe, toiletries, hairdryer and TV.
We included breakfast with our booking, which was served in the public restaurant. The menu is limited but serves most things you would want for breakfast.
Overall this hotel is in a great location, it’s clean, quiet and friendly enough. I would stay here again.

Just back from a wonderful stay in the Hotel El Sigio. Amazing location for the Las Fallas festival....could not have been more central. We had a lovely junior suite with great Jacuzzi and private terrace to sit out and relax in the day and at night. Suite felt very private with a lift basically to your own room door. Room was clean and to a good standard for a hotel of this rating. The complimentary mini bottles of cava, water and chocolates refreshed every day were quite also a nice touch. Finally, the receptionist was very polite, friendly and helpful. Many thanks !!

Great location. We had room 203..internal room but it actually has a small window facing the back side of the hotel. Very quite and safe. Comfortable bed. Only issue was that the water spills out of the shower on to the bathroom floor, but they gave us extra towels. Housekeeping was great.

The position in the centre of the old town was brilliant. We were welcomed warmly and the room although quite small was suitable for our needs. It was exceptionally clean and we couldnt fault the housekeeping. A small problem with the bathroom sink was not resolved during our stay. The dirty water drainage took an age to clear. One morning breakfast took so long to be served we left without eating. It was so much better organised the following day. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would use the hotel again.

Great hotel in the heart of everything

Lovely little hotel right in the old town. Room was fairly small but ideal for what we needed. The restaurant downstairs is lovely for both breakfast and Dinner. Would definitely stay again.

Location, location, location

perfect location in the middle of Old City of Valencia and interesting architecture of the hotel, quite a modernization was done, impressive bathroom, good service, good wi-fi, a bit earlier breakfast like from 8 am would be appreciated, and longer hotel desk hours. But the latter did not disturb us much.

Perfect location close in old city centre

Really nice, modern rooms and perfect location just off cathedral square close to bars/shops/restaurants and main sights. Staff went out of their way to make it a special stay.

Great hotel, especially for a single person! Location was excellent, and very quiet. It is a bit difficult to find at first, as you have to go through the El Siglo Restaurant to get to the hotel. But other than that, a very comfortable stay!

Great location but rooms are small

The location of this hotel was great although the room was extremely small. My boyfriend and I barley had enough room to get out of the bed. Also our shower would leak outside onto the floor so badly that to wash my hair I would have to run the water for less than five minutes, let it drain, then turn it back on and continue that cycle. I wish the facility was better because I can't say enough about how perfect the location was.

Nice hotel with central location

The hotel is perfectly located , can not be more central. Very friendly and helpful staff.Rooms designed for the romantic stay . The only problem we had is the size of the room , very small .
