Everything was great, good attention to the details.....even down to , toothbrush, hair straighteners and dyson hair drier in the room, and netflix on tv. Easy to walk to tourist areas, station, and lots of cafes, restaurants and shops close by. Good prices in hotel bar and fridge in room. Good AC and water pressure. Staff very smiley and helpful. A little noisy in street at times but no problem sleeping.

Honestly we cannot fault our stay in any way at all. It all starts with the reception desk staff and they were found to be incredibly helpful and ever so friendly. I cannot recall their names but both the young man and young lady were awesome. The room itself was also fantastic. Plenty of space to move around. A really comfortable large bed with a pillow menu also available. The bathroom was also faultless with one of the best tropical showers I have ever used. We asked for a quiet room and that's exactly what we got, so we slept well. Breakfast was also great. We typically went down early when the breakfast area was almost empty. It was busier the last day but we went down much later. All of the staff there were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast food options were also great with a menu option available to allow one to sample a cooked breakfast with varying options. Cereals, fruit, cold meats, cakes also available. The hotel also has a restaurant serving food all day. We only had our evening meal there on one occasion but it was lovely. We recommend the 'fish and chips'. The location of the hotel is great - being only 10 minutes away from both a main metro station and the Cathedral. Its a really lovely boutique hotel and we would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lovely, comfortable, centrally located hotel in Valencia. Thanks so much for giving us such a lovely memorable stay.

Very Disappointing Stay — Poor Service and Unfulfilled Promises
Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was very disappointing and fell well short of expectations. Despite being advertised as a luxury boutique hotel, it felt far more like a standard business hotel. The rooms are small, although the bathrooms are large and the showers excellent — powerful and modern. Sadly, there was a persistent drain smell coming from the bathroom that also affected the bedroom. Our family, staying in another room, had the same issue, so it seems to be a wider problem.
There is also ongoing construction directly across the street, starting early and continuing late, making it hard to get a peaceful night’s sleep.
The only real positives were the cleanliness of the rooms and the excellent housekeeping staff. Breakfast was decent, with good allergen information and a pleasant atmosphere, though the cooked dishes were inconsistent — the poached eggs were underdone one morning and overdone (and very slow to arrive) the next. The gentleman serving at breakfast was lovely and one of the few genuinely warm members of staff we encountered.
In contrast, the reception staff were cold and unaccommodating. Before our stay, I emailed twice (once in English and once in Spanish) to mention we were visiting for my 40th birthday and asked if the hotel could do anything small to mark the occasion. I never received a reply. When I enquired about this on arrival, I was simply told, “Sorry you didn’t get a r

Lovely hotel - small but had everything we needed (great hairdryer). Breakfast was really good - staff remembered what we liked. Right in the middle of the old part of town with all the shops five mins away. Hop on hop off bus stop just around the corner. Rooms kept really clean - BBC news channel available on the TV. Shower was amazing.

Enjoyed our stay here . Great location , friendly service , rooms clean and great showers . Breakfast was really good too especially the freshly brewed tea and coffee . We didn’t get a chance to eat in the resteraunt but even night it was buzzing and it felt like we were staying in a very popular place to hang out ! Best bit was the friendly staff .

We had a lovely 1-night stay at the hotel. Lovely room with large bathroom (lovely toiletries)! Great central location - no parking which can be a bit tricky but we managed to find a space about 7-8 minutes walk away. The check-in staff were so lovely when we arrived 2.5 hours later than planned (due to delayed flight) - they checked us in quickly and sorted out a table for us at the restaurant (even though it was 10pm). The food at both dinner and breakfast was lovely and the restaurant//bar staff were really friendly.

A great hotel but too busy with non residents

A great hotel in the centre of town. The architecture of the building, the finishes and standards in the room were good, the bedding was especially comfortable . Reception staff were always welcoming and helpful. Unfortunately the dining experience was very poor as the facility was so busy with non residents that we couldn’t even get the staff to give us menus to view! So couldn’t eat in the dining room , very off putting.

Great hotel just missing a rooftop bar!

Fabulous hotel with wonderful staff. The only thing letting it down was there was no outdoor space to relax on a late afternoon after a long day of walking around the city. A rooftop bar would be perfect. Restaurant was very good and we ate there twice but I would recommend you book as it’s very popular.

Hotel Helen Berger was a great little boutique property with a walkable location. It is a newer property, opened just before covid, and you can see that it is newly renovated, though maintains great historic charm. It was an amazing stay. There is extremely clean and beautifully furnished it looked like a 4-star hotel at least.
What was an amazing experience for me that they offered me to give a piece of cake for my birthday. I was never mentioned the day, but they found it through my ID and gave me a call later to give me an offer. It was a great night for me. Really appreciated their hospitality and kindness.
Appreciated.
I will be back anytime to stay in Valencia.
I really highly recommend you to stay and chose the Hotel Helen Berger.

We visited Valencia in mid-March, just as Fallas festival was in full-swing. The location of the hotel is great, easy flat walking distance to a lot of the key attractions. It was very clean, quiet (except for the fireworks!), a comfy bed, tasty breakfast options and exceptionally friendly/ helpful staff. I’d definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.
