I stayed at Hulot for four nights and overall it was a decent stay, but a few things let it down.
Check-in was quick and easy, but I was told to use the stairs to reach the top floor and wasn’t told my room was next to the common area. After walking up five floors, I realised there was actually a working lift, as well as a shared kitchen right next to my room.
The room itself was lovely - clean, modern, spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, being next to the kitchen and terrace meant there was a lot of noise. I was regularly woken up by other guests and even the washing machine. As a solo female traveller and a light sleeper, I didn’t get a good night’s sleep during my stay. I feel a curfew for the common area or improved soundproofing would make a big difference, as every sound from the kitchen echoed straight into my room.
I also received a towel with holes in it, which was disappointing for a hotel of this standard.
Overall, the stay was good and the location is very convenient. However, had I been able to sleep better, my experience would have been far more enjoyable. While I appreciate the availability of communal facilities, being placed in a room directly next to them made it difficult to relax.

No tea making facilities etc in the room but it isn’t that sort of hotel and also they have a superbly equipped communal area where you can cook; brew up; and to top it off, there’s a lovely little roof terrace which turns into a sun trap.

I enjoyed my stay at Hulot B&B Valencia. Check-in was quick and simple, and I was headed up to my room in no time. Upon entering the room, it felt very spacious and bright. It felt like I was staying in an IKEA showroom. The bathroom was nicely designed, as was all the furnishing. There's a safe in the room. Noise level was fine, it's usually quiet at night, since it's not on a heavily trafficked street. On the top floor is a kitchen/pantry, indoor and outdoor space, which we utilized a lot. It was great to have a fridge to store food and beverages.
The accommodation is fairly close and walkable to a lot of attractions, and even close to a few bus stops. I would highly recommend Hulot.

We liked everything about Hulot. From the helpful and welcoming staff to the lovely room and the comfortable bed. There's a well equipped kitchen and a lovely roof terrace. Hulot is conveniently located to reach all of the must see places in Valencia on foot but is in a very peaceful area. Would definitely stay here again

This hotel was clean, spacious, and well-located within half a mile of two metro stops and near the city center. The roof top terrace doesn’t have a view, but it was a comfortable spot for morning coffee from the fifth floor vending machine. Also nice that there was a shared kitchen and free laundry facility.

On Hulot’s Expedia page, it says room is 160sq. We got a room of 120sq. That’s Hulot’s false advertising on Expedia.
I asked for changing our room to 160sq sized room as I booked. The front desk, long hair gentleman, acted like he couldn’t understand simple English. He blamed Expedia. Finally, I said it’s false advertising and Hulot needs to inform Expedia that the listed info of 160sq is a mistake and ask Expedia to change it to 120sq as correct info. Then he changed the room.
Hulot has strong smell of air refresher or inset spray. Googled it and find out Valencia has sewer problem so certain area smells like rotten egg. Maybe Hulot is trying to mask sewage smell by using refresher. If you are allergic to perfume or smell, you really can’t stay in Hulot. My nose is never allergic to anything, even this is too much to endure.
Hallways are dark with no lights on. Sometimes you pass by, the sensor turns lights on. Sometimes, the sensor doesn’t work. It’s very depressing.
The “daily housekeeping” listed on Expedia means they throw away trash and put things in place. Our bed sheets didn’t change for 3 days.
The heating or AC in your room is controlled by the front desk. If they are off work, you can’t have change the temperature in your room.

Stayed at Hulot and had a great experience. The hotel is close to public transit so easy to get around to other areas of the city. The hotel is in a great location, close to restaurants and the main attractions. Our room was spacious and clean. My only negative was that the reception desk is only open from 9am-2pm and then 4pm to 8pm. But even though we arrived before our room was ready they allowed us to store our luggage until it was ready. I would recommend staying here.

No Shuttle to the Airport
Excellent location for visiting downtown Valencia, front desk was helpful, good facility. HOWEVER, there was NO SHUTTLE to the airport as indicated in the Hotels.com website. Going back and reading the fine print, it does say that a shuttle can be arranged for extra cost, but this means calling you a taxi.

Hotel Hulot is a centrally located Valencia hotel near bars, cafes, and retail. It is within walking distance of El Corte Ingles department store, Mercado Colon restaurants, and the \"Jardines de Turin\" parks. A little further is the Ayuntamiento plaza, Cathedral, and Mercado Central (Central Market). There are nearby cafes, restaurants, and bars around the Centre Cultural Bancaja. Valencia has the Museo de Bellas Artes, a ceramics museum, and City of Arts and Sciences.
The Hulot staff are excellent at providing information, identifying locations on a map, arranging taxis, and suggesting itineraries.

Hotel was nice, the rooms were big with big bathrooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a kitchen upstairs which we didn't use, but it looked quite nice. There is also a big rooftop terrace and laundry services. The location is nice and quiet but only a 5 minute walk to the cathedral and main square. There is a lovely cafe just across from the hotel that we went for breakfast which was pretty cheap and the staff were so nice. We would stay here again for sure!

Magnifique sejiur à l horel Hulot Valencia. Le personnel est accueillant et très gentil. L hotel est situé presxdu metro Colon, à portée du centre et des edifices à visiter., près des lignes de bus pour aller au parc de l Albufera et des plages.La rue est très au calme et la terrasse sur le toit super agréable avec une cuisine buen équipée pour prendre un verre ou un repas après une journée bien remplie.
Il y a un charmant bistro au coin de la rue en sortant à gauche de l hotel où prendre le petit-déjeuner dans une ambiance très espagnole.On a adoré.

La struttura ha rispettato quelle che erano le mie aspettative. La sua posizione nel pieno centro di Valencia permette di raggiungere tutte le principali vicine attrazioni a piedi e quelle più lontane attraverso l'uso di comodi pullman o metro. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è sicuramente sopra la media. Voglio ,inoltre, ringraziare la ragazza italiana in reception che con la sua simpatia e gentilezza ci ha accolto nella struttura e ci ha consigliato tanti posti per mangiare.

Sehr netter und unkomplizierter Kontakt vor der Anreise und auch während des Aufenthalts. Frühstück gibt es über das Hotel ab 4,40 EUR inkl. Kaffee und O-Saft direkt neben dem Hotel in einem kleinen Cafe. Sehr gute Lage um Valencia zu erkunden. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants und Bars direkt in Fussweite! Ebenso ist die Metro und Bushaltestelle sehr nah! Besonders toll ist die Dachterasse, zudem man in der Küche im 5.ten OG. einen Kühlschrank nutzen kann oder sogar selbst kochen.

La habitación no tiene nada que ver con las fotos que han publicado, es muy pequeña y se ve que llevaban tiempo sin usarla porque habia polvo en las sábanas. La llegada fue buena porque lo tienen organizado para que puedas entrar aun sin estar ellos, el baño y demas cosas de la habitación estaban limpias.

Jeg kiggede ikke rigtig på, hvor jeg reserverede, jeg troede, det var hotel. men det var B & B men uden morgenmad. i receptionen var en venlig dame med smilende. det første værelse, jeg fik det, det var slet ikke godt. lille og farven på alting var gråt og sort, for mig var det skør farve og gjorde mig skør og jeg måtte være der i 9 dage. så blev mere skør og trist. efter en time gik jeg i receptionen og talte med damen og fortalte hende, at de billeder, jeg så, de var røde, så lovede hun mig at skifte 3 fire dage efter. 2. Værelset var bedre og havde rød farve væg.

4 jours à Valence. L'hotel est bien situé à la fois près du centre historique et du très joli jardin de la Turia. La prima notte abbiamo avuto freddo per la presenza di aria condizionata ( a novembre) che non era regolabile dalla camera, e alla richiesta di risolvere il problema ci è stato detto che al massimo si poteva un po' abbassare la notte perchè non era solo della stanza ma del corridoio. in realtà poi il terzo giorno il problema è stato risolto del tutto
