Our stay at the Claro Hotel was very unique and top notch! Our check in was very informative and they made us feel very informed! Every evening, we were delivered 2 treats and the next day’s weather forecast on a little card! The inroom bar is free and they restock daily! Excellent service and kind staff!

We actually check out of this room after one night. The staff is amazing and friendly, however the rooms are so minimalistic that they feel like a prison cell (it actually depressed me waking up there). Dark, grey with only stiff chairs to sit in. It is just a style I can't appreciate but I can image others might love. Also the bed was really low (below my knees in height) and also wasn't inviting to lounge around in. The staff tried to accommodate with another room but there was really nothing available that was appropriate (stairs in the room without banisters) or didn't cost another 200 euros per night. Also I felt the area was sketchy for two women alone at night. Either way you travel to the hotel you need to go down a poorly lit, quiet street. It didn't feel safe. However this means the hotel is in a really quiet area. Also, I really love to have a coffee/tea station in my room. Here they deliver it to your room at no cost but I am not going to order more then once. While if it were in the room I would have 2 cups of coffee in the morning and a couple of cups of tea in the evening. The rooms were very clean. Again, I feel like I didn't research the hotel enough and let myself be swayed by the high ratings but it was far to austere for my liking.

This is our \"go to\" place of lodging whenever we visit Valencia. It is right in the old town, walking distance to pretty much EVERYTHING. Some folks find the interior of the hotel odd but that adds to the charm for us. We have stayed in every type of room they offer and each is unique though we prefer those in the \"special\" category. The available breakfast is not to be missed and is one of the best we have experienced anywhere in the world. We have stayed here on all of our trips to Valencia (i.e. now numbering 7 visits) which is the highest recommendation we can give.

The staff at this hotel are outstanding!! We received a warm welcome and they were available at all times to answer questions. They could not have been more accommodating! There is coffee and tea available, as well as other drinks provided in the room at no additional cost. Breakfast was not free but offered eggs prepared to order as well as an assortment of bread, fresh fruit and other items.

What a great place to stay in Valencia! The location is amazing, right in the historic district, which makes walking the entire area a breeze. The building itself incorporates an old city structure with ruins from the 12th century. What makes this hotel truly special is the staff! From the moment we checked in, they made us feel welcome. We were offered a drink, a comprehensive map with an explanation of the city, and numerous recommendations for restaurants, museums, and historical sites. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Valencia.

Our stay at the Caro was perfect! We had wanted a really chilled time away and the location and vibe of the hotel was just what we needed. The staff were all lovely, super professional but warm and always helpful. This includes from the moment we booked. Every member of staff we met in fact and too many to name, though shoutout to Sonia and the breakfast team as we had the chance to chat with them a bit more in the mornings. The history of the hotel is also fascinating, so in a way it’s more an experience than simply a stay! The only thing we found slightly tricky was no real storage space in the room - there were a few hangers above the safe but wouldn’t say this constituted a wardrobe space and so for two of us for five days, it was a bit tricky! But it didn’t detract from the positives, nor would it stop us staying at the Caro again. It’s a lovely hotel and the staff are really the gem, it’s rare to find such warmth and professionalism, it made it super enjoyable - and that’s just the hotel! We visit València often, such a beautiful city and this makes for a perfect hotel to stay in!

From the moment of our very, very late arrival, we were welcome to open arms at the Caro Hotel. Check in with swift and our room small but laid out well. We especially liked the separate toilet room since it made the functionality of the bathroom better. It was very quiet at night, our room was on the side of a small school, so in midday you would hear children playing, but it was not bothersome. All of the staff Were great, but I will point out that one night very late. I asked the front desk where I could get a protein shake for the morning… As all the stores were closed. When I woke, they were waiting for me, Ines did a wonderful job of making me feel special. We especially liked the location as one of our favorite restaurants was only a block away-Baobab. One of the funnest things we did was a paella cooking class with Daniel through trip advisor - highly recommend.

We visited Caro Hotel recently for a special birthday trip for our Mum. We had a fabulous stay. Nothing was too much trouble, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, service was excellent, rooms spacious and comfortable, location was superb as a sightseeing base and for dining. This is by far the best hotel I have stayed at so far. My partner and I loved our stay. The staff were amazing, lovely and wonderful to us. The service is amazing from all staff. The rooms are vastly different quality even at the same price point, so make sure to confirm which room you're in (not all of them match the pictures online).

Would have expected a hotel at this price point to have better amenities. There's no conditioner in the rooms and they only have one corkscrew for the entire property (so you have to call the bar any time you want to use it). There's no coffee or tea in the room either so you always have to call the front desk to get it. Some of the rooms do have stairs, so if you are not physically up to that make sure you confirm your room with the front desk.

The pool only fits one person at a time, so you do have to wait your turn if you'd like to use it.

Overall my stay was very nice, just wish I had gone in with the right expectations and knew what questions to ask beforehand to ensure my stay was pleasant.

I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel. My Daughter and I visited recently and we were really impressed with the warm welcome we received and the friendliness of all the Staff.
The Room was kept spotless and and we were given beautiful Sweets every day in a Glass Jar.
We ate Dinner once in the Restaurant and the standard of food was fantastic. It is a very Historic Hotel and the Restaurant particularly so.
It is very conveniently located near some of the major attractions, such as the Cathedral and Town Hall. We mainly walked everywhere, but also used the Bus a few times.
Particular mention to Pablo, who went above and beyond what we expected in terms of helpfulness but all the Staff were amazing.
Ihope to go back one day !

Absolutely outstanding hotel. Service was exemplary especially from Alejandro and the young Dutch intern. Faultless. Rooms are immaculately clean, very sleek and modern with a smorgasbord of premium toiletries. Beds and linen very comfortable. Valet parking was perfect. Location perfect. Highly recommend- I'm almost annoyed we didn't eat at the restaurant or have breakfast!

Gorgeous property in a very quiet neighborhood that is only 2 blocks away from stores, restaurants, and a further 2 blocks to the cathedral. The other direction is the lovely park that surrounds much of Valencia. The staff went above and beyond for us as my husband left his passport in the room safe when we checked out. They called us as we were out sight seeing to let us know they had it at the front desk. When we returned to pick up our luggage and leave for our next destination, there it was. They saved our vacation! The breakfast was wonderful too, didn't eat dinner here but if I am ever back, I will try the restaurant one evening too.

Lovely hotel and great staff. Rooms were tidy with many extra ammenities. Beds are a bit low to the ground but comfortable. Mini bar with lots of complimentary snacks. Staff recommended an excellent restaurant and booked our reservation. Valet parking. Only problem was the first morning there was no hot water :( Staff went to fix the water heater but it did not warm up before we had to leave. Pool a bit weird since it is crammed into a tiny deck space and looks like an oversized aquarium

Incredible service. Staff went and retrieved our car from a parking garage and reparked it at the hotel. On our day of departure staff loaded up the car with our bags and had it parked and waiting for us out in front of the hotel at the time we told them we needed to leave. They mailed our passports to us when we realized we had left them behind in our hotel room safe. Their dining recommendations were incredible and the hotel itself is so neat with all the history relics scattered throughout the property.

From the moment we entered this hotel, we were always warmly greeted and felt at home. We had a great room on the top floor with beams and slanted roofline. The room had all comforts and amenities- including daily refilled glass water bottles. The location couldn’t be beat, we were within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The service was impeccable - our luggage was missing upon arrival to Valencia and they called us when we were out sightseeing to let us know it was now safely at the hotel and in our room. My husband was ill one day and they helped me find a pharmacy that was open on a Sunday evening. We look forward to our return.

Amazing hotel in the historic centre of Valencia. The hotel is simply beautiful, very cosy and in a very quiet location. The service of the staff was impecable spending 1:1 time explaining on detail where to go in the city, allowing us an early check in without asking, taking the bags to the room whilst we were away, etc. The breakfast and the service there was also of the highest quality, with many options to choose from and all really delicious. Our room had a lovely balcony, the bed was very comfortable, with pillow bar to choose from and mini-bar included! I think this hotel really raises the bar really high. I cannot wait to go back.

I travel a lot, and the Caro Hotel was possibly the nicest place I’ve ever stayed as far as helpfulness of the staff is concerned - everyone was really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and each one is unique and full of character. Loads of little extras to make your stay enjoyable. And the perfect location to enjoy everything Valencia has to offer.
