Very clean, maintained every day, staff very helpful and friendly we had a room more like an apartment with another bedroom upstairs with a balcony area. only thing that could be improved would be tea coffee making facilities in room Location could not have been better Highly recommend.

Room was very small and uncomfortable. There was barely any room to open one suitcase. No suitcase stand. No table/side table, just a chair.

There was no mini fridge.
Shower is tiny and very awkward to use, every time you turn around you end up turning the water knob.

No window - it was covered by film and made the room very dark.
AC didn’t work when we arrived, they were able to fix it quickly, but it didn’t really cool the room well.

Check in was smooth, and the room was nice. Unfortunately we experienced problems with the shower as no water was coming out. We reported the problem and the staff was very helpful and provided us with a solution. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was nice and clean.

Loved Valencia in December!

The location of the hotel Calle Samaniego 20 is excellent! It’s in the old town making it close to the historical sights. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops in the area. We even walked to the City of Arts and Sciences. Enjoyed Valencia very much. Christmas lights made it even prettier at night.

This hotel was excellent for our stay in Valencia. It was tucked away in a tiny side street that was just steps from various plazas, shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The woman who was at the front desk when we arrived was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and very neat! Our young son loved getting to sleep in the little loft. We would absolutely consider staying again.

Good customer service.

The room we were staying got the cigarette smell eventhough it has non-smoking policy. It may need a penalty/fine for the guest who was breaking the rule as they shouldn't smoke inside the room.

I wished there're a writing desk fo with a chair, and maybe a small kettle for making a cup of tea/coffee.

But the reception was good, friendly and tried her best to accommodate us, and give a good direction for the transports and taxi. Thank you for very nice checked in/out.

Perfect location

This hotel was an amazing find and such a good price for the location. You're 5 mins from the centre where it's full of bars, shops and restaurants.
The first floor is a little noisy but to be expected, it's an old building in a busy location. This didn't ruin anything for us though. We had an amazing stay here, so clean and comfortable and the staff couldn't do enough for us.
We would definitely book here again if we were lucky enough to go back to valencia.

The location of this hotel was absolutely amazing!
The staff especially the main lady was so caring and nice to us, she help me organise how to see a doctor in Spain and was so lovely even gave me a tea!!
The hotel room was typical spanish which was so great and we were more than happy with the hotel

Organised a taxi transfer to pick us up from the airport which was a good start & our room was ready early. The location is fantastic, right in the middle of the old town. All the staff were very friendly and helpful & the hotel was very clean along with our room. Only downside was a bit of street noise as our room was right on the sheeet but everything else was fantastic & would highly recommend.

Brilliant little hotel in Valencia

In the old part of the city, convenient for everything - shops, transport, sightseeing and restaurants. Staff are knowledgable and helpful. Rooms are a good size; clean, comfortable and with a/c. Can only imagine the low star rating is down to the fact the hotel doesn't have a bar or restaurant but there are loads to choose from on your doorstep.

Central hotel in Valencia

A clean, family friendly hotel in Valencia. One thing to be aware of is that you can hear neighbouring rooms as they go up and down the mezzanine stairs but it was fine- didn't affect how we slept. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It's a really clean hotel and we would return here as such good value for a central hotel.

What a wonderful surprise!!!

For a 2-star this hotel is a gem! The space in our 4 person room was amazing. The room was a little spartan but it was clean, spacious and very well appointed. Could use a couple of glasses and coffee/tea making facilities. No place to sit apart from a chair behind the desk but I guess that's a 2-star hotel? We only overnighted so it was fine. Location was fantastic!!!! It's right in beautiful beautiful old town Valencia. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a perfect old town location, surrounded by sights and good restaurants and shopping. Reception was friendly and made up for our lack of Spanish. Paula made good restaurant suggestions and gave directions. There is no street noise or traffic. There was noise by some repairs and cleaners but it was later in the morning and many would never know. Our room 106 was a double, with a loft so it was spacious. The aircon mainly served upstairs but we were always warm enough. The tall window had frosted glass so you needed to have it open to see what the day was doing, which was then too cold. So we felt a bit confined when we spent a few mornings sleeping in, reading and rejuvenating from a long journey. Sitting chairs are carvers so not for lounging, but at least there are chairs! The bathroom is clean, big and well lit. The bed was hard, so we had mixed impressions. The price was excellent. If you are staying over a weekend, book early. As usual in Spain, no fridge or kettle, and plastic glasses. You can buy €1 glasses around the corner in the discount shop, and the nearby cafe is excellent. If arriving by taxi, tell them it's near the youth hostel.

This is a fairly new place and I was Very pleased! Great central location near the Plaze de la Virgin and the Serrano Towers. Lots of places to eat and easy acces to the metro. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean,quiet and comfortable.

De locatie is uitstekend, heel centraal in het oude centrum en op loopafstand van veel highlights, leuke winkelstraatjes en horeca.
De kamer zelf is vrij eenvoudig, maar voldoet. Minpuntjes; heel gehorig en de douche is aan een opknapbeurt toe.
Het personeel is beleefd, maar niet echt hartelijk. Pluspunten; ze regelen op verzoek je vervoer en we konden eerder dan de officiële inchecktijd de kamer in. Er is geen ontbijt mogelijk of andere diensten, maar de basale service is verder prima.

¡No gastes tu dinero!

Un hotel muy malo, una decepción total. El cuarto de hotel que nos proporcionaron se veía que no lo limpiaban desde hace mucho tiempo. Mucho polvo, se podía ver por los conductos del aire acondicionado que no cambian los filtros o no son limpios. Uno de los aires acondicionados tenía una gotera, lo reportamos y nos dijeron que lo más que podían hacer era darnos toallas. Cosa que después dejo un mal olor en el cuarto por toda la estadía. Ni siquiera nos dieron una cubeta. Uno de los aires acondicionados hacía muchísimo ruido. El cuarto no tiene nevera y el telefono a recepción no funciona, y los televisores son muy viejos. ¿Qué más les puedo decir?

Creo que los demás comentarios son falsos.

Wir entschieden uns für das untere, was sich leider als Fehler herausstellte, es war kein Doppelbett sondern zwei Einzelbetten auf Rollen, die immer wieder auseinander rutschten. An der Decke waren Wasserflecken zu sehen. Jedoch das Schlimmste waren die Laufgeräusche von Tieren unter der Decke, wo wir nicht identifizieren konnten, von welchen Vierbeinern diese stammten.
Generell ist das Hotel sehr hellhörig, was unsere Nachtruhe sehr einschränkte.
Für uns also insgesamt eher eine Enttäuschung.

Hotel hat einen Stern zuviel und ist schmutzig

Es war unser 2tes Mal in dem Hotel. Es wird leider dreckiger, Schimmel im Bad in der Dusche und den anderen Ecken. Man kann nicht aus den Fenstern schauen. Kein Zimmersafe, kein Schrank, kein Tisch, Pappbecher für die Zahnbürsten...
Es wird mit 2 Sternen bewertet, es sollte aber eigentlich nur 1Stern haben.
Rezeptionistin am Abend war das einzige Highlight. super nett, freundlich uns hilfsbereit.

ottima posizione, praticamente a due passi dal centro storico di Valencia e da tutti i mezzi di trasporto.
eravamo in 4 e la camera era veramente molto spaziosa e comoda addirittura con 2 bagni!
ciliegina sulla torta una ragazza italiana alla reception che ci ha consigliato molto bene su tutto!

Lo único interesante de este hotel es la situación. Es incómodo, necesita mejoras y la limpieza es bastante mala. La ducha peligrosa, pequeña. Las toallas ya necesitan cambio, la felpa está muy usada. Me decidí por este hotel porque tenia buenas referencias pero sinceramente me ha decepcionado, no creo q lo vuelva a reservar.

Bien situado pero con limpieza mediocre

El hotel tiene muy buena ubicación aunque hay dos aspectos que me resultan importantes y no contaba con ellos.
Por un lado está la ausencia de nevera en la habitación, que por las altas temperaturas generaba alguna que otra molestia. Es verdad que facilitaron vender botellas en el establecimiento o enfriar el agua, pero no es práctico ni cómodo cuando tienes sed a media noche y la botella que tienes ya se ha calentado.
Por otro lado, no cambiaron ni colocaron las toallas y después de la ducha del primer día, nos encontramos las mismas toallas sin colocar y sucias por la arena de la playa.
Estos dos motivos hacen que no repitiera mi estancia en este establecimiento. Aún teniendo aspectos buenos.

Bien situado. Habitaciones comodas pero el colchon algo duro y las almohadas tan bajas que podrian ahorrarselas, no tienen ningun tipo de funcion. Al menos hubiera podido haber otra diferente en armario.

Hôtel bien Situé dans la vieille ville, bien entretenu.
2 petits bémols :
La Clim de notre fonctionnait très mal (plusieurs heures pour baisser de 1 degré) comme elle branchée sur le système qui coupe l’électricité si la clé n’est pas insérée : quand vous êtes sortis la Clim ne fonctionne pas .
Insonorisation très moyenne avec les chambres mitoyennes (escaliers mezzanines très bruyantes)
