We stayed in the Atico Room — it was incredible! Large, comfy bed, two full washrooms, kitchen area, honestly, a great place with lots of space. There are quite a few steps to get up to the room so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues, or if you have lots of luggage.

The hotel is located right across from the Mercado, which is one reason I picked it. Lots of activity around the outside of the hotel but doesn’t feel unsafe or crowded. Lots of shops and restaurants around.

The hotel restaurant has THE tastiest jamon croquettes I ate while in Valencia. Crunchy and creamy inside. Perfection!

Looking forward to visiting Valencia again and staying here. Loved it.

Excellent location in the centre of the old town and walking distance to all the main historical sites. The staff were friendly and provided amazing customer service throughout our entire stay! Great hotel with, a nice location- close to the metro stations and close to major attractions. Walking distance to Las Ramblas, Gothic Quarter, and Sagrada Familia.
My room was excellent too, with two large rooms and 2 bathrooms.
Also loved the buffet breakfast.

It was in close proximity to a lot of things, however, the room was painted chocolate brown and had very few lights so you couldn’t even see in the kitchen cabinets. Also the carpets in the lobby and hallway was very dirty and the sofa inside the room. The front desk staff did okay with the check in, but after that there was no acknowledgment when coming and going.

The staff are friendly and helpful, beds and pillows comfy, beach was accessible by bus (very clean, cheap transportation), Uber worked everywhere but less complicated to take a cab from airport. Also it's great that the Uber app includes taxis as a choice. Our room did not face the street and was exceptionally quiet. Spa and massage were good.

The hotel is really lovely, rooms are large and clean, bed is comfortable, staff completely lovely. The area around is perfection. Our only complaint is that we had a family emergency where we had to fly back home to Canada unexpectedly and the hotel manager refused to issue a refund, which we thought under the circumstances was cheap. But aside from the management, it is a wonderful hotel, brilliantly located.

The location, in the heart of old Valencia, was perfect. That staff was fluent in multiple languages including English. Everyone was very helpful and understanding and genuinely welcoming.
The room was good, but due to HVAC limitations it was very hot for our liking. There was not way to run ventilation without heat. The windows opened which helped regulate, but the air quality in Valencia in March is very poor so leaving windows open poses its own problems.

We loved this modern comfortable hotel. The parking costs 20 dollars per night which we found expensive considering we were guests there and the WIFI in the room wouldn't work at all, but otherwise we absolutely loved this hotel! The rooms were very modern and comfortable and the location and breakfast were wonderful. We would definitely stay there again.

Apparently there are conditions in spain where air conditioning can only be set to 21 degrees Celsius. As wecwere on the top floor it was not cooling the room. They did not communicate this to us until we inquire after the first night and had a very uncomfortable sleep, we were told they would override this and set it to 18degrees Celsius so we closed all windows for a comfortable nights sleep. Sometime during the night they either shut the a/c off or set it back to 21 degrees and we ended up having a hot and sleepless night. Travelling tnrough Spain for 3 weeks it had been the first time ever hearing this regulation in Spain about the a/c being set as low as 21degrees. In all other places it was 18degrees.

The location is very good.
The room was advertised with a balcony and 2 beds and sofa.
We had 3 single beds in a row with no sofa, small window, faulty air conditioning so had to call reception throughout the night to turn on.
The spa was very poor, the majority of the spa jets didn’t work!
We were on the top floor, but the noise from the other rooms is just like their in your own room.

What can i say… i fell in love with Valencia. The hotel was in a perfect location, loved the fact that you are less then a minute walking distance from the Central Market. We booked a comfort regular room with no view (balcony), and i am glad we did. The room was super specious and super quiet. The room also comes with a kitchen equipped with supplies which we put to great use. Additionally location was amazing, very centrally located. Book this hotel, you will absolutely love it. If I return, without hesitation I will book again.

On arrival, the staff was friendly and gave me a quick guide with a map. The room was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Property was located near the central market, llotja de la seda, and a lot of eateries. Didn't try out their spa services though, but overall would stay again if I came back to Valencia.

An overall great stay! The staff at this hotel are very friendly, kind and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location couldn’t be better, in the heart of the old town just steps from the Mercado. The only disappointment was that I booked this spa hotel over a month in advance and at last minute they had their spa renovated and I was only informed a few days prior to my arrival. They explained that they also didn’t know exactly when the renovation would take place until the last minute themselves. It was too late for me to make any changes, I was already on the road enjoying a different part of this very important week of celebration. If I was running a Spa Hotel and discovered that my guests would be left without the spa services they expected during their booking, then I would have arranged for either a complimentary one day voucher for them to enjoy the spa pool and jacuzzi at one of the other nearby hotels or at the very least offered them one complimentary breakfast per guest or the equivalent €28 credit to make up for the loss of the one day spa pass that is normally included during your stay at this lovely hotel. This was, strangely, not offered. That being said, we still had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. But for us it was simply the Mercado Hotel and not a spa hotel. This is a lesson that you can never know if or when a spa will be functional, so don’t assume that when booking.

The staff were all superb, nothing was too much trouble including organising a taxi to pick us up from Albufare at midday - taxi was waiting for us, fantastic. We are just sorry that we did not take the names of the staff but we were there from 7th April - 13th April. Will return as location so very conveniant too, but for us, the staff made it so unique.

Brilliant location for exploring the city. Fantastic suites and the staff very friendly. Breakfast was generous and very tasty in a really well presented bar and restaurant.

It is the centre of town so you can expect some exterior noise at the weekend into the evening. This is a fair trade for the location; We had a suite at the very top of the building so perhaps more acute there but a fantastic place to stay.

The hotel area has a major construction right in front of our hotel with heavy dust and heavy noise every weekday from 9am to 7pm! The hotel staffs gave me a room with handicap bathroom on the first floor right in front of the construction but my booking was deluxe double room (the picture on the website looked very different than the room I had). I’m not happy and satisfied!! I paid for something I didn’t get! Also the staffs didn’t knowledge us on the day of our departure because there was a protest and most of the central plaza roads were blocked. We had to carry many luggage’s and walked for long time (one of my luggage is broken due to the bumpy stone road). We almost missed our train too!! The staffs should have warned us so that we would leave more time for our travel!

The hotel is very conveniently situated right opposite the central market (where a magnificent selection of culinary treats can be found) and the beautiful old town. The rooms are a very good size with kitchens included which are very well kitted out. The hotel staff are very helpful and eager to please, especially Patricia who was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. We initially had a four night stay but because we liked it so much and the great city of Valencia too, of course, we ended up staying an extra three nights.

All of the staff, including in the restaurant, made us feel welcome and were extremely helpful. We were in Spain when the US Coronavirus travel ban was issued, so we were stressed and worried. We arrived late from the airport but were greeted with a smile at the check in. Our room was very clean and spacious and the mini kitchen was a blessing with a full sized fridge (we brought water etc from the local supermarket).
Everyday our room was cleaned and new bottles of water added. Our terrace was mini heat trap, but we were able to sit outside a few times.
The free drink in the bar was a welcome addition on our first night and we used the voucher for 90 minutes in the spa.
All staff we met were polite and cheerful.
The hotel is in a great location - the central market over the road was brilliant for getting fresh pastries for breakfast.

A nice small hotel in the center of the city. Very convenient for exploring the old city center as well as for getting to metro (about 10 min walk). Our room was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 2 adults and a 5 year. The room had also a spacious and clean bathroom. Kitchenette was useful for fixing a quick late dinner, but there are also plenty of places to eat just few steps from the hotel. The room was furnished in a way that it felt more as a home living room than a standard hotel room, a nice add-on. Friendly and helpful staff.

I had a fantastic stay over my birthday in the hotel - the staff were friendly, the room was spacious and very modern. It was great to have a small kitchen in the room too! We used the spa and had a massage whilst we were there - definitely recommended!
Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of going - it is right opposite the Central Market which was great for getting around. The only tiny improvement could be providing tea and coffee in the room - but the supermarket is really close!

Perfect location for the central market. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate dinner at the restaurant attached to the hotel which had delicious paella and was great for people watching. Rooms were spacious with full kitchens. We did not use the appliances but everything looked new and in pristine condition. Our room had a Juliette balcony facing the sidewalk cafes and our other room had a private patio. Taxi stand was across the street and great shopping was within walking distance. Only complaint was the extra bed in the room was too hard for my nine year old. We would stay here again.

Food was excellent, The room was perfect, great bed, Netflix on TV, the lighting is very modern, lovely kitchen area with everything you need if you wish to cook, but we just had breakfast in the room.Tiny convenience store close by to get tea, milk etc. We had double doors looking out over the beautiful square looking towards the Central Market. Room cleaned daily. The area is just incredible, beautiful old narrow streets with every kind of restaurant and shop ,even found a great Cuban bar just around the corner, and an Irish bar called St Martins very close by that shows live football on sky. Taxi rank across from Hotel, had us on the beach in ten minutes for approx €12 . And what a beach !! Miles of it, with little Beach Bars every 150 yards serving cold drinks and a variety of snacks, First aid stations all along it, and police on Quad Bikes patrolling so very safe. And the water was beautiful, Lifeguard stations all along. The area is very historic, beautiful old Churches and Cathedrals everywhere. We didn't try the Spa but I've no doubt it was top class. Everything you see on the site is everything you get, just ten times better. Just cannot fault a single thing about our stay here. We stayed for 4 nights, but next time, and we definitely will be going for a next time, it will be for much longer !! Don't hesitate, this place is just great in every way , 100% 😁

Great location and super easy check in/out. Large rooms are well updated and modern.

AC unit in our room tended to blow air directly into the bed which wasn't ideal for nights, and walls/doors/ceilings can be somewhat thin, could hear a lot of what was going on with the neighbors.
