They were doing renovations and failed to tell us until the day before we arrived which is really naughty and when we asked we were told only just agreed. For a hotel it takes a lot of planning and doesn’t just happen ! How daft do they think we are !!!! It was noisy, the hallways smelt of paint, it was an assault course getting down the hallways with no signs of where the wet paint was and it was noisy.

WhatsApp communications before booking made us aware of the services on offer. Replies to enquiries were very quick. All the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel was spotless and well- maintained throughout. The Android TV in the room was a real bonus - we seldom get any English language TV in Spanish hotels. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Housekeeping was discreet and efficient. We arrived early, but were checked in straight away. Although our room wasn’t ready, we were messaged when it was available and our luggage had been taken to the room.

The breakfast was outstanding, the beds were very comfortable, and the shower was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the strong smell that came from the lobby. It seems to have been covered up by a very strong perfume, so that added for a double odor. It may have had something to do with the outside, but it was a bit off putting in the lobby area. The room, however, seemed fine. Great location.

It was a nice experience, the hotel is extremely central but in a quiet street, so you have best of both worlds. They also went the extra mile on my birthday which was super appreciated. The staff is multi-lingual and speak excellent, English, Spanish and Italian. (maybe they speak more).

The staff is amazing--very helpful and responsive. The hotel location is great--near the train station, the cathedral, main squares and shopping--but on a very quiet side street. The only criticism I have is of the AC in the room--it was extremely hot when we were there in early September and the AC was not adequate to the task. The addition of a ceiling fan (or an AC system with a more powerful fan) would help.

Impeccably clean hotel, with a great, friendly and knowledgable check in staff. The bar service and morning breakfast crews were also top notch. I booked this hotel because of the reviews I had read. I wasn’t sure about the location. Turns out that the reviews were right. It was a great hotel in a great location. A little mini mart (so to speak) out the front door. A clean laundromat less than 1 minute away (btw, the washing machines add their own soap, no need to purchase). So many bars, restaurants, shopping or bistros within a 5 minute walk in either direction. Truly a great stay.

The property is in the heart of the city qnd you can walk and see so much from here. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast that is included is very good. The staff were so kind and so helpful. Roberta helped us plan many adventures to the beach, a sunset boat tour of Albufera, dinners, etc. The only downside of this property is that you can hear everything in the hallway and outside, but even so, I would still stay here again!

We had a two night stay with friends to visit Valencia. The hotel is very central in the old town with lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Check in and out were seamless and all staff we engaged with were courteous and professional. We walked to the hotel from the central train station working 10 minutes. The room was nicely appointed, comfortable and clean with complementary drinks being a nice touch. On occasion there was a drain smell in the lobby area but that can be the case in any locations. I would highly recommend this hotel.

MYR Marques House has a perfect location in a quiet street very close to Plaza de la Reina and all of the other main attractions in the centre of Valencia. This is a very pleasant boutique hotel: the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable with spacious bathrooms and the Cafe Madrid cafe/bar is well worth a visit.

The staff that helped us check in and throughout the stay were super nice, friendly and made it a wonderful welcoming space for us. Our train from Valencia was canceled but the hotel staff made an exception after we had already check out and got us a quiet space for an important meeting I had to attend. The room and balcony were gorgeous and the doors are sound proof so you can’t hear any street noises. Very well connected and adjacent to cafe Madrid which has excellent vibes. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to go back again.

Very comfortable hotel in quiet street in old town. Entire hotel is spotlessly clean and fresh looking. There is a lovely vibe throughout from the bar/cafe on ground floor through 24 hour reception and public areas to beautiful roof terrace lounge. Staff very friendly and helpful. I must say that the customer service in the hotel was outstanding !! From the moment we arrived to the time we left we felt appreciated and welcomed. It goes without saying that the location was magnificent. However, the facilities of the hotel were less than desirable. For starters, the general smell that permeated the hallways was pretty bad. It truly smell like sewer. In addition, we had trouble with the air conditioning and the drainage of the shower. This left us very dissatisfied and turned off. I am not sure if I could recommend this place. The receptionists, specially the night shift staff were outstanding.

From check in with Daniele to the arrival of our taxi to leave for the airport, the staff was wonderful. Hotel was in a fabulous location to walk all of the old city. Nothing was more than 20 minute walk with most being only 5 - 10 minutes. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
