The hotel is on a main street but quiet. The lift works well and our room was clean and comfortable. We had a room overlooking the central area making it quieter and possibly darker than rooms overlooking the street.
The location was great for walking to the Old Town, the long park and bus routes, and walking to the Market Colon area too.
Breakfast was a bit steep but excellent quality so worth the price.
We're planning a repeat visit with friends in a feew months' time.

One Shot Colón is an underrated gem in the heart of Valencia. It far exceeded our expectations and truly deserves a higher rating. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully designed, with multiple windows that let in beautiful natural light. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and despite being centrally located, the hotel was peaceful and quiet — perfect for a restful stay.

While we didn’t try the breakfast, the dining area was generous in size and well-suited for both groups and guests working remotely. The location is unbeatable: a short, convenient trip from the airport and just steps from Valencia’s best restaurants, shops, and sights. The staff were kind, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay.

As two young female travellers, we felt completely safe and at ease — we couldn’t recommend it more.

The only downside was the Wi-Fi, which was a bit unreliable at times. Otherwise, this place is a true find and easily deserves four stars or more.

This is a great option for a stay in central Valencia. It's in the middle of everything, and there are lots of excellent restaurants and cafes nearby. It's walking distance to most of the top attractions in the city. The rooms are surprisingly quiet the windows are double glazed, so when they're closed you don't hear street noise. Staff are helpful and friendly. Parking is nearby and easily accessed. The bed's a bit squishy, but the shower is great. Breakfast is good.

The building is in OK condition, but the elevator was definitely not. My room was in a high floor and the elevator stopped working not once, but twice. At the very least the staff at the lobby was nice and friendly. The staff at the breakfast room… not so much.

This hotel is conveniently located in an area in Valencia where you can walk to all central areas. Front desk, personnel and kitchen personnel are extremely helpful and accommodating. However, the hotel is old and I noticed that is not too clean. Location and service might be a plus but questionable cleaning and room service is is something important to me.

The walls seem to be very thin, while in the bathroom I heard my neighbors clearly; The heating cannot be controlled and was always very high, you could not sleep well, the TV was a dinosaur, poorly distributed and weak lighting, old elevator small and slow.

Breakfast was excellent! The two women that worked the breakfast room Ampara and Emily went the extra mile every morning. The staff at the Front Desk were excellent at giving us information and even drawing the route on a map. We have zero complaints. The location of the Hotel is perfect! We took the Metro from the airport and back to the airport as the station was just across the street. Would definitely stay there again.

It’s a relatively modern hotel near Colon metro station. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious but the bathroom condition was subpar. The bath had black mold around the edges. The ceiling had signs of many major leaks. And there was no fan in the bathroom.

In addition, the AC was locked to not go below 23 C. Sheets also didn’t smell fresh and inviting.

Me and mi mejor amiga had a great stay at one shot Colón 46. I stayed one extra night, as my friend and I had different flights home. We purchased the breakfast buffet option, and every morning it was wonderful and delicious with good options.
The wifi was not super fast, but it was good enough to stream videos so it is good for general purposes.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet from the city though the walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors if they are very loud. The shower is beautiful with great water pressure and a lot of hot water. They provide ample linen, soaps, glasses.
Housekeeping was wonderful and stopped by each day unless I put up the “do not disturb” sign.
The front desk is always present 24/7 which is amazing. On my last night, the front desk gentleman provided me with a recommendation to eat dinner at Portolito Centro. It was fenomenal! They also have control of the front doors, so you feel very safe while you stay.
The metro to/from the airport is literally across the street, as well as a supermarket. There are many stores to shop and eat. Everything is within walking distance or the bus stops. It was the perfect location to stay in the city. I will come here again during my next visit to Valencia.

I stayed at One Shot Colón 46 during the Valencia Marathon weekend. The city was in a joyful mood and, of course, given the huge number of visitors, there was a bit chaos. Not at the hotel though. All services were running smoothly, breakfast was wonderful, and the staff was super friendly. I had a very comfy stay and I would definitely consider staying there again when visiting Valencia.

I do not like to leave bad reviews but this had to be left... given the positive reviews, I had higher expections for this hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, the first room given to us was TERRIBLE. The table was unstable (to the point that if you put anything on it it would likely fall apart). The shower head was broken (the wire attached literally hanging off). The products (shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner) were all half empty. They tried to blame this on COVID and not refilling the bottle until it's empty? (That seems more unsafe that the bottle is being used by multiple guests). We were accomodated into another room but only \"luckily\" because another guest did not show up. This rooms bottles were full btw (coincidence or not?) This room was in better condition for our stay, however, they also failed to inform us that the mini fridge was not on (which they also said was due to COVID? Doesn't make sense to me either). I found this out after i bought beverages to put in the fridge and inquired with the front desk about the fridge not working. I was offered a cold beverage from their kitchen after the front desk woman was apologetic thinking she was being courteous.... plot twist, i was charged at check out for the soda! And when i explained to the front desk staff why that was given he basically could care less! Terrible customer service.

One Shot Colon Was The Best Shot

Loved this hotel. Great location. Paula at the front desk has some outstanding Restaurant suggestions. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast nook was supervised by Emily and she made some great scrambled eggs too. The internet was slow, but that was my only negative. Everything else was terrific in this beautiful city.

The hotel was amazing, except for the fact there was clearly water damage in the bathroom that didn’t seem to be addressed. Visible water marks on the ceiling with some of the plaster peeling away. Aside from that, location was awesome, staff was very helpful, and the hotel was clean. Beds are also very comfortable! I don’t think the breakfast was worth the cost. Apparently you could get eggs, but there was no indication of that when we walked in. I just happened to see some other guests receive a plate of eggs when we were leaving. I would definitely stay here again though!

Only a 2 minute walk from Colon metro station. Staff were brilliant so friendly and helpful. I had a room with a balcony with a lovely view of the street below. It can be noisy if you leave the balcony door open, but that didn't bother me one little bit. You are in the heart of the city after all. Valencia old town within easy walking distance. Right opposite the hotel is a wonderful supermarket packed with a great selection of food, especially the fresh bread/cake counter.

Weekend break in Valencia

Our rooms were ready early and our specific requests accommodated. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Colon Metro station which connects direct to the Airport in less than 1/2 an hour. The hotel staff were all very helpful and special mention goes to Maryanne on Reception who gave lots of great tips on things to do and see.

Good location in shopping area and easy walking distance to old town and excellent metro link to airport. Breakfast was adequate, juices, hot drinks, fruit, bread and meat/cheese - staff not visible enough during breakfast seemed to be out the back all the time. Facilities were modern in design but clothing storage area not functional as would not allow for hanging of clothes such as tops, dresses or trousers, ok as shelves. Cold shower on 3 occasions, advised reception on second time and told fixed and to wait 15 mins to heat up, happened again two days later. Reception staff very helpful.

- Staff were super helpful and nice with restaurant recommendations and local travel advice.
- Rooms were modern, clean, and comfortable - I especially like the convenient light switches (you can turn off all lights from the comfort of your bed).
- Wifi was dependable.
- The subway stop is literally across the street - not even 50 meters. The area is alive, but not as crazy as some of the more touristy locations.

This is a really nice hotel in an ideal setting in for everything in Valencia. The twin room we had was large with comfortable beds. The bathroom was spacious with a great shower. We enjoyed our stay! The hotel is very close to many things to see and do! Lots of shopping on the same block. We were close to all of the things we wanted to see around the city! We were able to park our rental car close by and received a discounted rate with the hotel. The room was a bit small, but we had enough room for two poodle with two medical suitcases. We also enjoyed the balcony! Great to sit out there at night and just take in the city! Highly recommend!

A fab hotel, great location

This hotel is located in a fabulous spot, especially if you love shopping. At first glance, it seems like you are on a high street, but a couple of minutes walk in any direction and there are plenty of places to eat and drink. About 15 mins walk to the historic area. The hotel staff were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly and welcoming. We had a room at the front on the 6th floor with balcony. Room was clean and comfortable and great shower in the bathroom. The storage was shelving which seems to be a new popular choice but if you needed to hang dresses or longer clothing, this would be an issue. Breakfast in the hotel was €10 each daily and a great choice. Great value for money. Would happily recommend and stay here again.

We stayed in One Shot Colon for 3 nights in May 2019 and enjoyed every minute. It is perfectly located and every place of interest, museum and cathedral is within walking distance. The hotel itself is quiet, modern, very clean, has reliable wi-fi and serves a very good breakfast for a rare price of 8.50 euro per person (most hotels charge 15-23 euro). But the best thing is their staff, the reception assistants are so friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to help and smiling. I would stay there again any time!

Everything about this hotel in Valencia was enjoyable.. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again. I really wish that they would open a place in Barcelona.. They would be the gold standard there. One Shot is your best shot at a hotel in Spain.

Location, location

Excellent central location for exploring the city. Not too noisey considering it’s position. Very easy to find. The girls on reception were helpful, especially Maryana, gave us some fantastic restaurant/tapas/bar recommendations. The room was spacious but rather dark. Some areas also looked a little worn. Overall would stay again.
