Location was good if you want to be close to old town. Staff was friendly. A pretty nice room. Very noisy at night due to the club below and thin walls. No hot water from the bathroom sink. Shower was good.

For approx 250 EURO i definitely expect more and much much better comfort. Small room, no wc in the room, noisy corridor, no breakfast, no nothing. The gentleman who checked me on was nice and the location of the hotel was super.

The room was big but organized bad. It seems like they thought like a couple will be dinning together in a Romantic atmosphere. For me the table was far from any electricity. And all the electrical outlet was busy because the light. No electricity at all near the bad. So i needed to charge my phone on the floor. Totally uncomfortable

Room was spacious and clean - bed was comfortable . Room was noisy as there was no double glazing or sound proofing from the street below. . Check in was horrendous. The auto check in machine didn’t recognise a uk passport- so info had to be manually input . Machine then spits out a key - working out how to access your room should have been part of the krypton factor !
It’s not really a hotel though as it has no facilities, no reception ,no bar , no restaurant, no luggage room .... nothing.

The room was a very good size, plenty of space even with a double and a single in it. Bathroom was a little small, but worked. Staff was very helpful with the check in. Parking very difficult, but found a place about km away, but it is in the center so it is to be expected. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great time in Valencia staying here. It was a decent price, excellent location, and we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing that wasn't quite up to scratch was that the air con unit leaked a bit and dripped down to the floor.

A Pleasant Stay

We had a lovely room. We had someone there to help us check in. He was very helpful and listed a few of his favorite restaurants for us. The air conditioner was not working at full capacity - the room was not uncomfortable but it was not cool. There was no maid service for any of our 3 days. The facility was very clean, but it would have been great to get fresh towels. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. A great location near some exceptional restaurants!

Check in process wasnt the smoothest. A little difficult to figure out on your own. Otherwise it was really great. Clean room, comfortable bed. Lots of great restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood.

Good value for the money at $60/night, Good Location. However, the wifi did not work (one bar), the shared bathroom was VERY small. Myself and 3 other guests who arrived at the same time had a difficult time getting in...no reception and the emails sent from the hotel are a bit confusing. But, we were able to figure it out. Room was VERY sparse - bed, small desk, small closet, nothing else. But, it was clean.

Sadly I didn’t catch the name of the receptionist on duty but would like to mention how kind and helpful he is.
Place is basic but very clean and in my opinion perfect for a short stay.

Difficult to find the place. I paid with air conditioning and it doesn't work. The shower was hot water or cold water. I wouldn't go back again.
I hope they return part of the payment, very expensive for the little it offers.

The lady on duty the day we checked in was very friendly and helpful, the property is in a good location for sightseeing, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We were a bit disappointed, though, in the condition of the bedroom and bathroom (e.g. peeling paint on the walls, and a persistent sewer smell in the bathroom), and were disturbed by a loud and harsh buzzing noise emitted by the air conditioner at intervals ranging from 2 to 30 minutes. The noise was caused by a pump removing condensation from the air con so was less frequent at night when the outdoor temperature was lower.

When in Valencia all you should really care about is to have a safe and convenient place to crash. This place fits the bill. It is super clean and the staff are very professional. If you want to sleep late, you better bring earplugs, however. The rooms are far from soundproof. The bed was
comfortable enough but kind of cheap and would tip over if you sat too close to the edge. Also the automated check in system was clunky and took several tries to get anything accomplished.

The rooms are not sound proof neither sound absorbing. The clicking of the laminate floors, and elevator noises resonate badly to start with.
Around 23h30 I was woken up by a very generous (but disgusting) concert of bodily sounds from the bathroom nextdoor, by another guest. I got dressed again and had to go for a walk.
Every time someone used the toilet an intense smell of urine entered the room.

If a good night's sleep is what you are looking for, not sure if this is the place you'll find it.

Loved staying at your place. It was clean and so much space felt like a small apartment. Window views were wonderful. Refrigerator , microwave, tea kettle,complimentary water, instant,coffee, biscoff cookies were great extras Enjoyed the location, very convenient to get around lots of cafes close by and restaurants. Linens fresh, bed was comfortable. Only setback was the construction next door and the noisy neighbors above. Overall a great stay. Thank you.

I never received check in instructions before arrival. Luckily there was a man at the desk to help but he was not happy about it and need to make a call to help. He was reluctant at first, kept gesturing as if he wanted me to stop asking for help! Room was okay, internet in and out as was the hot water. Stairway not lit well, walked up and down in darkness.

Cute room, but would not recommend

Check in is horrendous! Do not book unless you will arrive whilst someone is there. My room was lovely: very sweet and characterful. The shared bathroom was clean but rarely had toilet roll which is ridiculous!!!
It’s more of a room to let , not a hostel: no kitchen etc , met nobody in the whole 3 nights I was there. If you are a solo traveller and want to meet people then book a proper hostel. If you want your own space/room then book an actual hotel

Nos hubiera gustado que el check in lo hiciera una persona y no una maquina (pero ya estábamos informados de los horarios de recepción).
Todo correcto.
Un sobre de gel y champú para dos noches no es suficiente y tuvimos que comprar, mucho mejor poner un bote en la ducha rellenable de gel/champú. Habitación muy limpia y personal de limpieza muy amable.

Ramona, the receptionist was very friendly with me, showed me around and made a very easy and fast checkin.
Location : 30 mins walk to les Artes via park, old town is 15 mins walk, beach is 45 mins by bus / metro
I stayed in 7th floor, not noisy, clean and well served.
Checkin can also be done by automachine so you can arrive anytime

My single room was small but sufficient with a window for natural light and air. Nice that it was next door to toilet. Everything was clean and surprisingly quiet. Bed comfortable. Loved that everything was walking distance, safe, center very close and lots of dining, shopping options!!

The only thing I didn't like was the machine check-in because I entered my reservation number and missed by 1 number so it declined!! Then I couldn't find my reservation number again because you receive so many emails before arriving and I got really frustrated!! I called the number listed but no answer. I was about to cry but then I saw the emergency number on the door and the nice lady helped me check in. I suggest you keep your reservation number handy in order to enter it again if you have to, without stress. Once that challenge is done, everything else is fine.

Ho soggiornato nella camera con il letto a castello. La camera è grande il giusto ed i letti sono comodissimi.
Il bagno in comune l'ho sempre trovato molto pulito. Per il numero di stanze al piano forse sarebbe più comodo avere un secondo bagno (magari al posto della stanza 206, che è proprio attaccata al bagno), ma alla fine non l'ho mai trovato occupato quindi magari va anche bene così.
Se avete sonno leggero conviene portare dei tappi, perché le pareti e le finestre non sono troppo isolanti e quindi a tratti può arrivare rumore da fuori o dalle altre stanze. Nel complesso comunque un'ottima struttura con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo, ci tornerei. Anche la zona era ottima!

I was not able to check in. Before me there was a person that took over 45 minutes trying to check in in the machine. He was calling the number listed for assistance but all he could get was the answering machine. I was frustrate with the lack of assistance. I did not know the city, visiting for the first time and no local phone. This facility did not offer the trust and confidence for a foreigner.

4. Some street noise (popular tapas bar right under), hallway noisy when people come in and out at night
5. No fridge in the room or in the facilities
6. Checkin on a machine, nobody around
7. No cleanup during your stay unless you pay for it.
8. Terrible perfume odor in the room when we arrived, it went away slowly. We figured they spray it to mask the faint smell of sewer from the old bathroom pipes.

Good location. When I got there early, my room wasn't ready, but the receptionist asked if i wanted to take a shower and give me soap and a towel. That was much appreciated after my long bus ride. I didn't like that I had a shared bathroom, but to be fair I did choose that type of room.

Fantastic Budget stay

An excellent week in this clean, bright and excellent budget hotel. Right at the heart of Valencia’s restaurant and shopping areas, bus and metro access and the great Turin park a couple of hundred yards away. The Mestalla is a ten minute walk away if your visiting for football and Levante a short bus or metro ride.

Wonderful location and the entrance to the building is lovely.

I would have appreciated a little more information, but I entered after the reception closed. I never knew there was an option to purchase breakfasts or that my floor had two bathrooms. I would really recommend suitcase stands as the rooms have no dressers or shelves. If the hotel could get maps of the Old City it would be a nice addition. The staff was great--the porter was very helpful with bus and other information. Overall I was really pleased with my choice.

The bothroom was separated and small (individual for the room). As I went alone, each time I go to the bathroom I had to lock the bedroom and open the bathroom by other key. But considering the price and services, I’m very satisfied with the hostal.

The other comments are correct, in that the building can be a little hard to find, and the lift is old and rickety and small...........but those things are manageable. I had the private room with bathroom (note the shower is TINY, so for those of us with extra....character.....it can be squeezy) - the bed was very comfortable, and the double windows that open onto the street were lovely. It was nice to be able to sit and watch the world go by on the street. It was quiet - no noise that interrupted sleep.

My one point would be the reception hours - they open at 9.30 - but by then I was off to meet tours and do stuff. So I couldn't store my luggage there on the last day, or address the lack of hot water in the shower on the first day. They open again from 4-8pm - but it's a bit......limiting. When I discovered the lack of hot water in the shower on the first night - it was already 9pm.......so there was no way to get it fixed. The staff were helpful and it was good value for money, in a good location.
