The single room is a small internal room that has a view of a small internal courtyard backing onto the kitchens. I opened the window to see 2 waste bins directly in front of the window. To me that is an absolute no no so I had to move rooms. I suspect if the kitchen was open it would have been noisy too. The staff I met were lovely but I wouldn’t stay there again

The place was great, close to town center and all. The room size was great. The shower was strange and water leaked. The room temperature and humidity could not be controlled and thus it was both too humid and too hot over the night. The towel I ended up using was stained. The bed sheets are made of a sort of plastic material that made the hot room even less tolerable. Parking situation was good.

Clean and comfortable room, with great blackout curtains. We requested a quiet room, so were put on a higher floor which was really appreciated. Noise from both outside and inside the hotel was minimal, and we got some good sleep there! The only thing that bothered me was the smoke alarm with it's constant red flashing light.
The location is good, right on the edge of Rusafa and a 20-25 minute walk into the centre, and 10 min walk to the main Colon metro station.

As a solo traveller, I found this hotel to be the perfect choice. The location felt very safe, with clean and well maintained facilities, and it was conveniently close to plenty of great local restaurants and bars.

The room itself was divine! Tidy, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. The bed and pillows were honestly some of the comfiest I’ve ever experienced in a hotel.

Getting around was a breeze, with a bus stop just a few metres away and flat streets that made walking to both local favourites and tourist attractions super easy.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help.

I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Amazing hotel in Valencia!

Lovely and clean hotel. Friendly staff!

Perfect location on Gran Via, easily accessible across the city. We walked most of the time to Ciutat Vella or through Jardi de Turia. 5-10 minute walk to the Mercat Colon and Colon metro station. I would fefinutely stay here again.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The area around is quiet, but great places to eat around. Transportation is close by and I felt safe walking around the neighborhood. My room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Definitely wished I had booked an extra night when I was there.

Room was spacious, quiet (had an interior room around a courtyard), had everything we needed and great bed and shower. Couldn’t have wanted for anything more. Area was also perfect. Could walk everywhere except for the beach but bus 92 is literally outside the hotel and the end of the run is at Malvarosa Beach which is beautiful for a day out.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Dimar! Great location, midway between old town and the Science Centre. Staff were great and there’s a taxi queue right next door.

Minor complaint and heads up for anyone with weak grip or hand arthritis - unlike most wall mounted hair dryers that require continuous hold of a button, this one requires continuous hold of the entire handle.

We loved the location specially since it’s during Las Fallas as it’s very walkable to the center of town, The staff was very cheerful, warm and helpful which made our first visit to Valencia very memorable. They also offered free horchata and fartons (local milk bread) at the lobby. It was yummy!

We stayed in a room on the first floor that faces the ventilation shaft. It is dark and there are bars on the window, so people with claustrophobia should avoid.
On the positive side, it was very quiet.
Very nicely appointed except for a piece of furniture water damaged and not repaired/replaced.
Front staff was outstanding.
Buffet breakfast had a good variety of items and a good value.
Would recommend wholeheartedly.

This was a lovely hotel in a great location! The hotel had many services including a great breakfast and massage. The location really made it worthwhile as it was in downtown and very close to old town. Taking the bus to the beach was super easy as well. Most of the staff were great especially Toni-a few not as friendly or helpful as I would’ve liked which bummed me out a bit. Overall though great stay for the price!

Great Value for Money

Two night trip just to see my doctor. This place is well located and updated and pretty quiet on the interior. Small room but all i needed. I understand emptying the mini baar for covid i guess but could use at least a teabag or a bottle of water. The usual hallway noise and noise above. But nice staff, clean, comfy bed and super reasonable cost. I would definitely stay again.

Pros - Front desk staff were very friendly. Bed was comfortable. Shower had good water pressure.

Cons - WiFi kept dropping and I often had to use my phone data. Rooms are not soundproof, as listed in description. There is a water kettle - not a coffee maker. You have to know to ask the front desk for instant coffee (every day). Toiletries are lacking - no hair conditioner, no lotion, and no tissue box. Just one pack of tissues (3 tissues) that once used is never replaced.

Nice area with good restaurants and a modern quiet and clean hotel. 15/20 mins walk to centre. We paid for parking on site. Only downside was there was a window in our bathroom that had no cover from the light so the whole room was very bright so sleep wasn’t great.

On the day we checked out we had to leave the hotel at 3:30am to catch a very early flight, and “because your rate includes breakfast” the staff generously prepared us a complete “breakfast picnic” to take with us, and even offered to prepare us a coffee since the kitchen was of course still closed. Perhaps it is just a detail, but one reflective of the quality of people and of a top notch service orientation.

We needed an overnight stay in order to attend the Clinica Baviera early the next morning. This hotel was ideal, we took a taxi to the clinic for €3 as even though the Clinic is in the same street as the Hotel it was a little far for my husband to walk as he has mobility problems.
We cannot fault the hotel, its cleanliness in line with COVID-19 restrictions, as well as receiving a very happy welcome from the receptionist made our visit enjoyable.
The public car park is next to the hotel, and costs €17,50 for a day, although we reserved our space with the hotel and received a discounted price of €15. It’s not easy though to park and dash into the hotel to obtain your parking card, for future visits we would rather pay the extra €2,50 than block the entrance to the car park whilst obtaining the parking card.
We had a nice large room with purpose built shower, as requested. Comfortable double bed, no view from the large window other than the hotel air con units and flues.
The breakfast was very good, personal service by waitress, to ensure COVID-19 compliant. We looked at the breakfast choices laid out, and the waitress

This is a very nice hotel, close to lots of restaurants, bars, buses and close to Alameda area. Unfortunately we were only there one night and had to leave the country due the virus outbreak and everything was closed.

Very comfortable hotel with friendly helpful staff, well located for local bars and restaurants, right next to a taxi rank. Busy road outside but room was very quiet. Nice tree lined street and fountain opposite. Within mile of both the old town area and the modern park of art and science. Only small gripe was that the hotel bar never seemed to be open.

They recomend us to this hotel, but I would never come back ! Room beds where two single (put tougether) for a requested one king bed, the heating and AC didn’t work from each room, the front desk just had access, and the Staff omg they do not have a clue on what is customer service, their lack of professionalism and rudeness was the highlight !

A pleasant stay.

Stayed 6 night (two separate bookings for a conference followed by two days exploring the city. The personel was fantastic, friendly and patient. The hotel is in a nice location, and the parking garage on site is convenient and guests pay a reduced daily fee. We actually left the car there all the time and used the very convenient bus system. The is a bus top at the next intersection. The buffet breakfast is nice and openat convenient hours.
Overall it was a very pleasant stay and I would stay there again.
