Great room. Was updated and renovated since i was last here 2 years ago. Clean rooms with daily house keeping. and the breakfast buffet was on point every morning. Only bad thing was neighbors slam doors all day!

We were looking to experience a part of Valencia different from the Old Town, and we had tickets to a football game one night, and this hotel was 15 minutes walk from La Mestalla. We walked to the beach, about 35 minutes each way. There is a great cafe a couple blocks east, and we would highly recommend both Gran Azul and Flor de Valencia as very good restaurants that are a short walk away. The room that we had has been refurbished and was very comfy, and the staff at this hotel are really great. They are attentive, patient and efficient. Everyone that helped us was friendly but professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it highly

Outside of the main city so cheaper and more relax

Had a few days in Valencia as part of a wider trip and to look into a family problem.
This Hotel was easy to reach by the C3 bus from the main Joaquín Sorolla station that the High Speed services arrive into, a short walk to Jesus Metro station and the Bus top is over the road. A circular route so you can't go wrong.
We used the indoor pool for half an hour but the Sauna wasn't on, at the time March 25 they were doing some renovations to the Hotel. Surrounding area has plenty of places to eat and drink and the Hotels own Breakfast was very reasonable at 9 Euros each.

Good stay in a nice walkable area close to the stadium.
The room (for 3 people) was huge.
Reception was 24/7 which was a plus as our Vueling flight got delayed 6 hours.
The view from the room was of a small interior courtyard.

4 nights stay. I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the park and the CAC. Clean, quiet enough, with a big bathroom equipped with shower and a bathtub. Did not disappoint.
Staff was friendly as well. I liked their system with our luggage. They kept them for us when we checked out on a locked room and they gave us a unique ticket to collect them. I felt safe that no one will grab our bags while we were away.

I got deathly ill due to your chemical and dust filled air conditioning. It was so powerful and immediately got me and my friend sick. I had to buy paracetamol and vitamins just to make it through the night. Every time I turned off the ac, I felt rejuvenated, every time I turned on the ac, I felt as though I was laying on my death bed. Oh not to mention the chemical stench that filled the room. Front desk couldn’t even give us a fork. Only good thing this place had was a sauna and to use when I was sick from the air conditioning. Location is also horrible. Expect to walk 40+ mins everywhere.

The hotel was quite tired and although we selected it for parking, there was none available on arrival, so we had to park in a nearby public car park. The second night we managed to get a space at the hotel however it was very tight. It was easily accessible to the city centre with a taxi or a bus.

Extremely unhappy with rude and insulting manager they don’t like children and especially when they make noise, kids getting excited to go to the pool for no more than 10 minutes in the corridor and we where told in a rude and aggressive way that they where loud and we i’m not in Benidorm I thought this was a child friendly hotel because of the bunk beds but clearly they don’t like noise of children to touch anything.
The rooms were dirty. The bathroom were mouldy and the shower leaked, jets didn’t work in the bath and they removed the chain on the door on the second day.
Don’t go with children !!!

Really helpful English speaking staff. Paid appx €200 for a 2 night stay inclusive of car parking which is essential if not using public transport. Hotel is functional at best , an old building in need of some upgrading , decorating and TLC. We were in a room at the front of the hotel overlooking a main road so very noisy. Also we were right above reception so heard every noise and checkin coming from there. About a 25 minute walk to city centre , and the first part of the route , we felt , was really unclean. Guess the price we paid for a city centre hotel is some justification for our misgivings.

Although it does have parking, sadly this hotel wasn't suitable for us. It's accessed via a very busy (5 lane?) one way ring road and the entrance to the garage is quite small. In all, the parking and the location made it unsuitable for our small-medium van or for convenient access to Valencia circuit (Circuito Ricardo Tormo).

The room was more like a one star. Low ceilings and an awful smell of sewers.
It was sub par. Although our room had a terrace, it was dirty and the people nextdoor to us kept smoking marijuana which stunk. Hence whether inside or out the smell was bad.

When we got to the reception desk, we had to wait for 30 minutes to be attended to despite a woman standing behind the desk and a man who was attending to another couple. Did not make an attempt to notice the fact that we were waiting neither did they apologize for making us wait. The room was fine but a bit noisy since the walls are thin and we could hear the the guy in the next room snoring at night.

Great location with easy access to Old Town and Airport.

Bathroom need to be update as the sealant is off. No matter how hard we tried, water still leaking to the floor and one of the basin can't flow properly.

Top bunk bed is nightmare.
It is very high and only basic LOW barrier which is able to remove it , basic stair to climb up . I literally not allowed my boy to sleep on top . Very little protection while sleeping on top . If the child turn , definitely will fall down badly.

But we like the room layout, quite unique as we are 2 moms with 2 teenage boys in this stay . All of us have our own bed with 2 levels. Moms sleep in the bunk bed in lower floor as we wake up earlier or later than the boys . The boys are \"upstairs\" with the tv
Just one thing is the light off all together. We need to open the bathroom door for light

The breakfast price is reasonable and again really basic .

Overall, apart bathroom and the top bunk bed , everything else is good for us .

Situated near enough to the centre and attractions and also to the beach/marina. All walkable but also great transport links outside.

This is a great beautiful hotel but it needs some TLC and the smell of sewage is so strong that I was unable to sleep at all the first night. For the following night I kept the sink, bidet and tub drains in the bathroom covered at all times and the bathroom door closed. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was very nice with many options.

The hotel, or our room at least, desparately needs an upgrade. The barely adequately sized room was showing signs of heavy wear; marks on tables, door frames loose. The bathroom was decent enough, until the shower turned on, flooding the place and the head would slide down and angle towards you.
Our terrace, offered a lovely brick wall view and incredible city sounds of heavy traffic. The air con unit looked to present a biohazard so we were thankful for a light breeze from the patio door.

Staff were pleasant although not exceptional. Offered a runners breakfast for the half marathon that we were attending, it was wholly unappealing and certainly not worth the extra fee. No mention of needing swim caps to use the pool, unsurprisingly available for a fee at reception…
Certainly not worth the £150~ a night we paid.. I understand there’s a demand fee due to the half marathon but nonetheless.

Our stay at Casual de las Arte in Valencia was lovely. We were jet lagged from our flight and two nights here was a great way to get our bearings and also explore the city. Quite a walk to any attractions or the beach, but we enjoyed getting to explore the city on foot. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

The owner & staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Location is central and with onsite parking it makes coming and going very convenient, for beach, park, museums etc.

Bicycles can be rented onsite and are delivered shortly thereafter. The inside pool + sauna help relaxing after a long day.

Mold in room

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in as regards cleanliness. Mold all over our room. Very strong smell of mold that they were trying to disguise with strong smells of perfume. When we were checked in the receptionist was very pleasant. The only convenient thing about this hotel is it’s location and it offers parking. But the mold we experienced is a health hazard. We mentioned it at checkout the next morning, but no explanation or excuse was given.

I cannot recommend this hotel. The smell in the room was awful, especially the bathroom, had to sleep with window wide open (it was cold) and even tried wearing masks. Asked to change rooms, but they would not accommodate our request. Location was decent and it was clean but the smell overshadowed any positive the hotel may have had.

Good location in walking distance from Parc Gulliver (10min), metro and bus stops, Oceanographic (20min), little supermarkets for cheaper supplies. Area felt safe.

Room was a decent size for a city break but could be improved with minor changes. It smelt damp-the bathroom has no ventilation or extraction so had small patches of black mould and was very wet after a family had each showered. The towels never dried properly so had to be changed daily (which they were). An extractor fan, towel radiator and more hooks would help this.

There was just enough storage but again, a couple of hooks for coats and extra clothes a family of 4 brings would help.

Breakfast was simple but fine, even for me as vegetarian. The room would be improved with a kettle.

Pool was good-warm and fine for splashing with the kids, pool towels free from reception.

I would stay here again and recommend it as good for what we paid.

The two-star rating for this hotel is accurate. First, the team at the front desk was excellent. They were helpful, kind, and always available to answer a question. The hotel is not locates in the city center but it's only about a 20-minute walk to the old town. The bed was comfortable and the room was small, but reasonably equipped. There were some negatives. The bed only came with a sheet. I had to ask at the front desk for a blanket. The wifi was really slow. I booked a room with a balcony which was kind of useless because it had absolutely no furniture. All you could do is stand out there or sit on the ground. Finally, the shower was rough. Water pressure was low and the shower head barely worked. This is a decent hotel but not a bad choice if you are on a budget.

Our room was tiny. It was advertised with a mini bar which was missing. The bathroom door creaked so loud you could hear it down the corridor. I complained and asked to move to a different room but was told hotel was full which was a lie as you could still book rooms online. Were moved the next day to a better room. Rest of stay was fine. Most staff helpful, especially Elena was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was OK costing 7 euro each. There is aa swim pool which was closed due to refurb. Was advised it would open 1st August but by the 3rd it was still closed.

Location was great - between the old town and the beach, and that's how we selected it (with good transportation and walking distance). The room they gave us was a little strange split level, on the first floor, with small windows, the wi-fi was spotty. Staff service was great. The receptionist went above and beyond to help us, when needed. They offered us bikes that were cheaper and convenient (although they needed some brakes repair). Breakfast was nice.

The hotel disappointed on many fronts:

(1) the quality of the breakfast was low. We left the tasteless and cold eggs on our plates the one and only time we had breakfast there;

(2) the hotel’s approach is to charge more for breakfast without a reservation made the day before. When on vacation, that is, when plans should ideally be flexible, this feels like an imposition;

(3) bikes cost 12 euros at the hotel and 9 euros in the centre at Paradise Bikes, why?;

(4) the location is not great with teenagers who will despair from 26 minute walks to fun activities so keep this in mind as you may find yourself using public transportation and/or taxis more often than expected;

(5) the pool underwhelmed my sons who used it only once and were mostly uncomfortable with the caps that they needed to use in order to swim.

(6) the room is not in great condition. The shower and tub are old and dented. The safe in the room stopped working while we were there and although the staff promised to fix it this did not happen.

I will not stay there again. The reviews I read led me to expect something very different. Perhaps these unmet expectations make me a harsher critic but my stay there became burdensome and required more problem solving than simple enjoyment and ease. I wish others a better experience

I would definitely stay here again but...

Beautiful hotel, great location, confortable room, the best staff ever. It was really a please to stay.
The downsides:
- they advertise that they provide toiletries but they only give a sample on the arrival (one small sample of soap, shampoo, shower gel and body milk; not enough for two persons for a 5 nights stay)
- the bathroom has no fan and the only way to ventilate it is by the door (there has to be a solution for this problem)

15-20min walk from main tourist attractions/markets/cathedrals
5-10 minute walk from the river park and Gullivers Park, cycle hire ideal for exploring the science and aquarium areas.
Small pool, freezing but welcome on hot day.
Few parking spaces book in advance.
15-20min walk from beach/promenade.

Great spot for exploring Valencia on foot. I’d definitely stay again.

Our room was large but overlooked by other rooms and there was a loud thudding if air conditioning from an adjacent room during the night. Bathroom was in need of updating- the bath was old and covered in limescale so we only used the shower.

The staff were so friendly and could not have been more helpful or welcoming. The room was clean and large. Great air con and comfy beds. There may have been a few paint chips here and there but otherwise this was a fabulous hotel that was incredible value for money. It was great to have a fridge in the room and they were really dog friendly with a water bowl and free water for humans and dogs in the lobby. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Valencia without hesitation. The pool and sauna were an amazing bonus too.

My husband and 13 year old son came to stay overnight so they could watch a Valencia football match. They thought it would be nice and local. However the hotel was shabby ,dirty and food was cold.
They were placed in a tiny double bed to share and when near the pool tiles fell off the roof.

A funky hotel with the paintings on the walls of our room, a cracking spa and a nice pool! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, varied and well thought out with hand-made bites and nibbles along with fresh juices. A slight downer was that our bedroom wall was very thin and we could hear next door quite clearly!

It’s like a family run hotel but isn’t. Staff are very helpful and polite. Great breakfast. Spacious rooms. Location was good for us - close to the Mestalla Stadium. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The hotel was nice and suited our needs. However, we had no hot water to shower after we had all been to the pool.
The staff were lively but I thought they might have wives the car park fee or something.

I guess you get what you pay for

When we went into our room the floor was dangerously slippery. In fact, there was a thin oily film across virtually the entire floor, down the stairs from the mezzanine level and even in the bathroom. The man on reception was helpful and cleaned it as soon as he was available. We discussed it and we all decided the problem was caused by too much aerosol air freshener sprayed in the room before we entered. Lots of noise during the night from an electric garage door opening and closing. Beds comfortable. Decor very tired.
