The menu breakfast was fresh. Staff was friendly and willing to resolve any issues. The parking was not free and there were issues with the automated parking system. The rooms are were comfortable and beautifully renovated. We had a very good overall experience.

It’s very convenient close to the science centre. There’s a massive El Corte Inglés in front and a shopping centre too. Lots of restaurants. The cleaning staff make up your room lovely. Reception staff friendly. The breakfast was plentiful but it got busy at times. Would have preferred a pot of coffee than going to the machine. Scrambled eggs were a little runny. I would stay here again.

This was a great hotel in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only reason for the drop of one star in the rating is that I feel that this hotel “nickels and dimes” you a bit. We asked for a coffee maker for our room and they wanted to charge us 16€ per day. There was not an ice bucket in the room and when we asked, they said they could send some ice to our room for 4€. We elected to go down to the bar and asked for 2 glasses of ice… for free. Other than that, it is a nice hotel.

The rooms are outdated with lights which won’t work in the bathrooms, noisy doors, dirty floors and there are no balconies so you won’t be able to dry all the clothes from the pool.

Lovely hotel with great facilities. Rooms cleaned daily and everywhere smells fresh and clean. The buffet breakfast offers everything you would want at that time of the day. Good location close to lots of restaurants and the science area but just a bit further from the main centre of Valencia. Only 10 minutes drive from the marina and the beach.

A great place to stay - most staff were friendly, the pool service was a little slow but good food and drinks. The pool is lovely, just not very big. It’s very well located for the Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias. It’d say it’s expensive for what it is.

Good hotel but I one complain. I was told that mini bar items was free of charge as a promotion. The only contents of the mini bar was 2 bottles of water (under 300ml) and 2 bottles of Minute Maid (under 300ml). This is not a standard mini bar I have experienced in my 25 years of traveling. If mini bar is free, then items in the mini bar should have standard items. Do not pretend things are free and offer free water. This was disappointing.

The hotel is modern and clean but the sound proofing is horrendous! You can hear every step the people next door and upstairs take, every time the tap is turned on, they close the front door etc. Not to mention the noise from people on the street and traffic. I thought the window was open, but it wasn’t.

Really nice modern hotel, cool vibe etc. Great room, very clean, spacious shower, big tv...all what you would expect. The roof terrace was a good spot with lovely views, could be smartened up a bit though. Perfect location, if not having breakfast then just down the road is Mi Dulce Vida with a big breakfast menu and also great value. Also on the other side of the road from Arts & Sciences is massive shopping centre with a Carrefour for stocking up on food / drink. Is less of a trek to the beach on foot too. Just the best location really. Will go again for sure !

I have been a fan of INNside for many years. The place offers a "hip" setting and doesnt skimp on the linens. You sheet will be crisp. Your pillows will be heavy and fluffy. Your towels will be ansorbent and cozy at the same time! Service is A++ doesn't skip a beat! Yoh can even purchase some gifts that will give you extra "cool factor" standing with even the choosiest recipients.

Just book it already! You won't be sorry.

Las fotos de los cuartos en hotels.com no representan el estado de las habitaciones no renovadas, las cuales están en mal estado, sucias y con camas no confortables. Pedimos cambio a mejor habitación y por cargo extra nos pasaron a una habitación renovada la cual tiene mejor comfort. Nos quedamos 2 noches, esperando que nos limpiaran cuarto y aunque pusimos el indicador giratorio en ‘explorando, limpiar el cuarto’ llegando en la noche, hay nota en el piso de ‘no pudimos limpiar, porque su indicador estaba en no molestar’, lo cual no era cierto, am final nos cambiaron OTRA VEZ de cuarto, terminando asi nuestra visita. El personal del Bar, personal de checkout, una de las chicas del checkin, excelente servicio… el estado de elevadores debe mejorar, vibran, suenan, gastados en las zonas deslizables y al parecer con inspección vencida…

Lack of a smile at the reception desk,cold welcome

The personnel at the Reception Desk lacked a smile and sympathy. When checking in, since my room was not available i asked if they had a bottle of water and the receptionist said oh not here, go to the bar. I did and right there I paid 5 euros for 2 tiny bottles of water. That detail doesn’t cost much and the hotel projects a much better attention and comfort.

Everything was wonderful until we where waiting for our taxi in the lobby today at 11:30 am and I took a napkin from the bar and this lady came running and ask in a not so friendly voice if we wanted order something to drink and I said no thank you.
The bottom line is that your company should never hire that kind of people.

Really Disappointed

It was the unbelievable how the level of service dropped in 3 weeks time. I’ve been staying at the oceanic for 15 years. I would stay there the night before my flights back to New York. There was a renovation that was done, it was visually beautiful but I found that the staff was snippy and felt bothered by questions. The food was horrible and while yes I could’ve gone out to eat - I was not feeling well and there was a heat wave. I have to say there was a young hotel clerk that was helpful and sweet when I checked in.
My husband and I stayed July 15, and I came back August 4. The change in atmosphere was big. And I will not be returning to this hotel that I used to love so much

Asked about parking - had to park in shopping centre car park accross the toad begore checkin.
Told you can park outside for free only if you get a space. Car would get towed if left in shopping centre car park. Then he said it would be better if you used our hotel parking !!!! Really !!!!!
Pool Bar closed at 8pm no other bar to get a drink. Wont return sorry let down for a Melia Hotel

Unfortunately, this hotel is under construction and there is noise starting at 8:00 am everyday. This was not highlighted during the booking process, so we missed it completely. Because of the construction there was not a good restaurant arrangement at the hotel beyond a breakfast buffet in the morning. The lobby staff wasn’t very helpful providing guidance/help, except for Rafa.

A primary interest in this property was the swimming pool and fitness facility. Both were disappointing, as the fitness room had several stationary bikes and one weight machine and the swimming pool was not heated and practically unusable.

Hotel location is brilliant, close to many restaurants and walking distance to city or arts and sciences and Oceanogràfic. City centre or beach is just 10 mins by taxi. There are two large shopping malls within 2-5 mins walking distance so very handy. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good and room was clean and spacious. We really had a good time staying in this hotel.

Staff friendly. Rooms are big size for usual European hotels compared to. Very clean. Staff goes above and beyond trying to help. Arrived after transatlantic flight exhausted and staff promptly checked me in even it was around 1 pm before 4 pm check in time. Breakfast area is roomy and choices are Ok. Bathroom is roomy and not cramped. Internet speed is Fine. Area is highly safe - was coming back around 12.30 or so by foot and there were no unpleasant interactions with anyone …
All in All Highly Recc with No reservations.

This was a perfect stay for 2 nights in Valencia. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We rented bikes at the hotel and were able to travel in the park and in bike lanes throughout the city and to the beach. It is in walking distance of the Arts and Science center. Breakfast was superb, lots of selections, real plates and cutlery, great coffee! (US hotels should take note)

Warm and sincere welcome at reception. Good sized room with huge comfortable bed (Premium room). We were on 8th floor- no traffic noise, and no lift noise as they are external. Sensibly priced drinks on the bar served by friendly waiters/waitresses. Plenty of tables in breakfast room, kept well stocked by smiling hard working staff. Only negative the hot buffet ( eggs, bacon) were cold.

This was an excellent hotel. The room accommodated an extra twin bed for our college age daughter traveling with us. Bathroom was clean, pool was larger than most we experienced in Spain. Location was within 1 block of Aqua - a 4 story mall, was 2 blocks from the hop on/off bus that we wanted to ride, and within a short walk from the Aquarium. The breakfast buffet was terrific, lots of selections. Wish we could have stayed more than one day.

My Favorite Hotel

I’ve been staying at The Valencia Oceanic for more than 12 years. I stay here on my last day in Valencia before I head back to New York. It’s been an every year end of the summer ritual for me. I’ve never been disappointed. It’s within walking distance from the oceanografic and the City of arts and Sciences. Wonderful places to visit.
I love staying at this hotel so much that I came in the middle of my summer vacation to enjoy the Hemisferic.
The bar is very nice the service is always good. The breakfast I received in the middle of July was very nice as well.
Again, I love this place!❤️

The staff at front desk are passive aggressive and give information that is vague or entirely incorrect. Parking is terribly difficult to understand in both Spanish and English.

Today, at 5:30 pm I came into lobby and there were open suitcases all over the place. I went to bathroom and there were 7-8 women in there using it — suitcases and ALL as a hotel room. Very unusual!!!!

Hotel housekeepers SLAM the doors to their “office” 30x per day while cleaning.

The pool- wait in line to get a pool towel and pool has no waitstaff for patrons or to clean up messes left by others. Also, pool water level is about 10 inches low.

The room constantly smells like FARTS and there was not shower gel in shower even after 3 nights! The waitstaff at the buffet breakfast can be okay but it’s a coin toss.

Across the street from the City of Arts and Sciences. Also next door to the El Corte Inglés department store, then an outdoor mall. The area is surrounded by very nice cafes, bars, and restaurants.
Hotel staff are very attentive and professional, great service. We have stayed here before and is our preferred hotel for Valencia. We can catch a bus going into the Old town just around the corner, or take a taxi from the front door. Rooms are very comfortable and clean.

Decent but probably better options for the price.

The room was comfortable and bathroom was fine. Pop. Limited sunlight around the pool, probably only 2 hours a day due to the building blocking the sun. Location probably not ideal if you plan to spend a lot of time in the centre, although taxi prices tended to be cheap compared to other cities. Was roughly €7-8 for a taxi to the centre.
