Public transport is very close , fist all different directions . Bike path passes in front of hotel.
The staff was very very nice .
The breakfast was limited and the same for the 4 days we stayed .
Beds and pillows were very good .
There was no fridge in our double room. No complimentary water. No coffee machine .
There is a pool available but we didn’t use it .
Beach is easily reachable with bus 99 or 95 of bike.

The staff at the hotel were amazing and very accommodating. They were super friendly and all spoke good English. The room was clean and quiet even though we were near the elevator. It was in walking distance to where we wanted to go and to the tram station. We really enjoyed the breakfast. This is not a typical Spanish hotel , it has more of a North American vibe.

Located down the street from museums oceanographic and their IMAX areas. Very walkable even to old town Valencia. About an hour but still very nice.
Huge mall with shipping and quite few selection of restaurants just across the street. Mall also has Carrefour which is like a huge Walmart. Got super inexpensive water there. Rooms fairly small for family of four but that's typical of European hotels. Great staff. Continental breakfast included. Small pool outside is a bonus as well.

When I arrived at the hotel, I remember requesting for two beds when I got there I got a bed and a couch. I was upset and she said you just requested it. You did not have a room with two beds. That was the biggest downfall for my visit the room was very small no microwave no refrigerator, no ice machine just wasn’t satisfied with the room at all

Very disappointed in the customer support . The Air conditioning stopped working on our last day at the hotel. The temperature in our room was measuring over 80° f and Incredibly humid. My family and I would not have been able to sleep in those conditions, so we had no choice but to leave and find another last minute Hotel. The hotel manager agreed to give us a one-night refund. However, the refund was never given. Expedia customer support refused to give me a refund and attempts to contact the hotel manager received no response.

Friendly staff and professional. Hotel is cleanliness. Check in was quick. About 8 minutes walk to Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, a convenient bus rides to beach Malvarrosa beach (Valencia), and centre town of Valencia. Healthy breakfast. Highly recommended.

Great location. Excellent staff. Excellent breakfast (Americans could only dream to have such quality and consistency at US HI Express hotels!). Very nice pool. Cons: no desk & chair in room to set up laptop and do work, also only one electric output that I could find, beside the bed against the wall. Not conducive to work set-up, but it seemed like more people were not there for work. I'd go back here for all the pluses anyway!

Great well located hotel - may be in need of a bit if a refresh/refurb now. Pool didn’t appear to be all that well maintained - evidenced by a grimy dirty sun screen scum around the pool wall tiles which was somewhat uninviting!

Excellent stay. Good, clean comfortable room. Nice bath with plenty of hot water. The pool was a good size and well maintained. Breakfast was good and we liked having the sandwich press to make toasted sandwiches. The bus stop in front was handy to catch the cheap bus to the beach. Walking distance to the Oceanografic and a good mall. The staff are very nice and helpful

Three nights in Valencia for sightseeing

This is a no frills hotel, rooms are basic but beds are comfortable. Decor in our room
needed refreshing as it looked tired & tatty in places, especially the bathroom.
Free continental breakfast was included in the price, there was no option to reduce the price by not having it. Plenty of food choices. Reception staff friendly & helpful, & spoke enough English for us to communicate with them. Easy walking into the Old Town, took about 30 mins at a moderate pace. Hotel right on the edge of town, & easily accessed from the motorway. Shopping Mall with restaurants nearby.

A short break in Valencia

Great position of the hotel. 5 mins walk from Turia gardens and museums of arts and science.

A M A Z I N G! so pleasant, welcoming and knowledgeable. Breakfast is good, coffe wonderful.
Room though dated, walls, floor, furniture is tired, bathroom too. The management should really redecorate.

There were no pictures on the walls in the room! The shower curtain was disgusting looking on the inside of the shower, so we told the front desk. Either they poorly cleaned the curtain or replaced it with a little less disgusting one. There was only one HBO box and by the time we could use it, we found out that it had to be linked to our telephones?!

The hotel is located approximately 5 minutes walk away from the science park, and there are good bus connections to get you where you want to go in the city.
The hotel room we had needed a bit of refresh, but was clean spacious enough for a week stay. The outside pool area is ideal for relaxing in the afternoon.

The \"lounge\" area is not warm or inviting at all - needs updating, with some nice comfy chairs etc.. Make it area that people want to hang out in.

Also, why only one paper-thin pillow for the bed? This seriously impedes comfy sleeping experience. Get better/thicker pillows and people sleep better and leave better reviews.

Nice stay but far from downtown

Hotel is at walking distance from Ciudad de las Ciencias, which is very nice. However, it is far away from the city center if you want to explore the historic landmarks. Free breakfast is a plus. Rooms are a bit small. I did have an issue with Hotels.com because I reserved a standard room with 2 double beds and upon arrival they had for me a room with 2 single beds. I had to pay extra for another room with a double bed and a sofa-bed.

The property is close to a shopping mall. Bus stops are close to Hotel. Short walk to the Arts and Science Center. Please node there are different bus routes for night bus service. Unfortunately, it is hard to find late night restaurants near by. Taxis are cheap.

Old hotel and not like other HI Express we have stayed at.
Our room was very noisy ALL NIGHT slamming doors.

Hotel was obviously undergoing renovation, our room was missing a closet door and there were holes in the wall where pictures had been removed - not mentioned when booking. The room was shabby but clean, basic Holiday Inn Express.

Good for marathon weekend/City of Arts & Sciences

Ideal hotel for the marathon weekend (10 minutes' walk from the City of Arts and Sciences, and breakfast starting at 6am on race day). Room simple but clean. Enjoyed breakfast, especially the tortilla and the chocolate pastry things! It wouldn't be the most convenient location for the main part of Valencia (old town), but on the other hand there's a good, cheap bus service (1.5 euros) into the centre and it's also pretty close to the start of the old river bed, which is a lovely place for a stroll. The modern shopping centre very nearby contains a buge supermarket, as well as several chain-type restaurants (we ate at the Mediterranean buffet and enjoyed it).

Staff upon check in was really helpful. Upon check out, staff helped us called for a taxi that we could shorten our waiting taxi time. During our breakfast, a Lady staff from kitchen was so thoughtful. Location also great. Near to Supermaket, mall, sightseeing.
Overall, staff there are so wonderful. I would go back again.

At your beck and call in Valencia...Very helpful.

Wish we had stayed more in the historic district. However, I got very sick while traveling and the staff could not have treated me more carefully. They contacted a 24/7 Medical Service and the Dr. came to examine me at the hotel. Ii became necessary for me to spend 2 nights in the hospital and they gladly stored our luggage, assisted my husband in many ways and were very accommodating. The BEST! Was sorry to have missed our 3 days of touring in this city. It looked amazing.

Handy hotel to be close to the museum, art centre, Oceanografic, shopping centre and MYA night club. The Old town, Cathedral, local restaurants are also in walking distance (25 mins) as well as the beach (35 mins) which brings you to the marina and the local beachside restaurants that are open in the evenings.

Hotel was what we would expect, the pool area was a bit drab but not an issue for us. The location is perfect for the City of Arts and Science. The last night we were there a whole group of children (teenagers?) were also there and it was very noisy with them running around and banging doors but, to be fair, they were quiet after about midnight. Overall very satisfied. Reception staff were very helpful

Valencia Oceania Estupendo

A city break to visit Valencia, the hotel was selected to be in walking distance of shopping and a Park visit. The Park is fantastic and the nearby Mall great for food and some shops. Oceania can fill a three day visit on its own.
Hotel breakfast buffet included and was a perfect start with the staff busy to keep tables clear and stations full. So much to do that I missed using the outdoor pool, which looked inviting.
Thirty minute walk into the city (bike hire on the foyer if you want them) and stroll around the shops and bull ring,
My partner rated the hotel and site fantastic - I agree.

City hotel near to the City of Arts and Sciences

We had a comfortable room on the third floor. We stayed for nine nights. Our room was very clean and fresh with cleaning done daily. The breakfast was good with rolls, croissants, cheese, ham, fresh fruit and cereals supplied in vast amounts. The hotel was served by two buses to get to the city centre with it's wonderful buildings, musuems and art galleries in 10/15 minutes and it took one hour to reach the city by walking slowly. The hotel was near a shopping mall and about ten minutes from the city of arts and sciences and the Turia Gardens. We enjoyed our stay in Valencia.
