Very good experience overall. Clean room and staff was professional and courteous. The area located is far from the historic district but it is a walkable distance to the metro. The room servicing was good. The bathroom was nice with a tub included, as well as shampoo and bath gel. There is laundry service for a fee. Overall a good experience.

The room was clean, towels were replaced daily, a little noise as our room was near the bank of lifts. The water taps were a struggle, soap dispensers dis-functional, warm towel rail not working, bathroom extractor fan not working, wi-fi useless. Black tea/coffee/milk not provided.

There was a cockroach in the bathroom on our second day. We were moved to another room after informing reception, but then there was pubic hair in the bathtub drain in the new room. Very poor cleanliness.

The only good things were the very comfortable beds and the location.

Underwhelming and slow check-in

We arrived at the hotel without a prior booking. I asked at reception for the rate for two adults and a child for the night. I was given a price, but after parking the car and returning to check in, I was told the rate had increased because it apparently only applied to two adults. I am certain I had clearly requested the rate for two adults and a child.

At that point, we had already parked and unloaded our luggage, so despite the confusion, we went ahead and paid the new rate. What I found especially disappointing was the lack of any apology or acknowledgment that there may have been a misunderstanding. Instead, the staff member chose to lecture me, saying, “Of course the price is higher for three people — a child doesn’t stay for free in a hotel!”

This interaction left a poor impression, not because of the price difference, but because of the dismissive and condescending tone. A little understanding and courtesy would have made a difference.

Good facility, clean and very helpful and courteous staff. Rooms very clean. The location is convenient to walk to the outstanding Aquarium, Science and Art Museum. Nice Park for long pleasant walks. Huge shopping mall Aqua and Corte Ingles within 10-15 minutes' walk. The center and historic places easy to reach by bus and taxi, even walking for 25 minutes if you like to walk and get a good feeling about the city beautiful boulevards and green areas. Some areas the city's sewage smell is perceptible. WC (toilettes facilities are a challenge in the city and restaurants- in museums and public buildings they are good, but in restaurants WC are limited and challenging for people with discapacity or limitations and they are not typically open to use the \"facilities\" unless you are a customer). In the hotel proper, the water sometimes came out hyper chlorinated - if you are concerned for chlorine odors or your hair- but the showers and bathrooms are excellent, clean and very spacious. Overall, very good to excellent experience- hotel, public transportation. Valencia's architecture (old and new) and cultural traditions are superb.

Enjoyable stay at Eurostars Acteón. Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Close to the science museums and places to eat. Breakfast had a good variety, however, was mostly luke warm instead of being hot. Sometimes food had run out and it took some time to be replaced.
It would have been nice to have tea and coffee facilities in the room.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city but there is easy transportation available to the city from the hotel.

The hotel has free parking which is a big plus.

The hotel is glamorous from the inside.
The surrounding area has local stores if you need something handy.

Good location as it's between the town centre and beach, the metro station is also close by. The hotel is nice and the staff were friendly however we were left without towels one morning (we asked at reception for more but none were provided, we asked a cleaner outside our room for some by chance). We were woken up a few mornings around 6am due to very loud noises, it was so loud it was as if people were in our room. The air con was also not working properly, it was set to the lowest tempature but was only blowing out very slightly cool air, the room got incredibly hot and humid.

Most of the reception was cordial and friendly with the exception of one receptionist , l didn't get his name all l remember is he was clean shaving and worked the second shift. He most definitely showed a desdain at showing any kind of service. Too bad , he should know he works in the hospitality industry ,be hospitable.

The hotel was a bit dated in design and decor. The lobby was spacious with a bar and restaurant on site. Parking is in a garage below the hotel. You can park on the street, I did not experience anything bad, but I cannot guarantee your car will be safe. The surrounding neighborhood is mostly densely residential with plenty of travelers and locals around. There are limited convenience store options after 10pm and food options after 10pm within walking distance. The room was clean, the bed was very noisy, the fridge was not working as it was the same temperature as the room even with turning down the dial, and the sink didn’t drain. These things could have been a coincidence for one room. They offer 50 euro deposit as an option if you don’t want to leave your credit card number on file. Public transit is close with stops right near the hotel.

Gem away from old town!

This hotel is a true 4 star. Room is spacious and very comfortable. The distance to old town for sightseeing is about 25 minutes via metro or bus. To the beach is less. I wish they had tea/coffee supplies in the room. I recommend!

We got to the hotel at about 11.30 am. Roberto kindly allowed us to leave our luggage so we could go out until 2.00 pm check-in time.
We got back just before 2.00 pm. Roberto was very rude the way he was talking and with attitude. We got the key to one room at 2.30 pm and were asked to go down for the second room in 15 minutes. I went down and he didn't give us the key to the second room until 3.00 pm, one hour after the official 2.00 pm time.
I did tell him that he was very rude. I also saw him being rude and angry with an Italian couple.
We went to the reception at night to ask about the attractions in the area and to buy the tickets for the open bus tour. We saw Yaiza at the reception for this and SHE WAS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WENT THROUGH THE MAPS WITH US TO RECOMMEND WHERE TO VISIT etc.
The hotel is brilliant, walking distance to bars, restaurant, shopping and buses. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with great force showers.I would definitely stay there again and recommend it.

The hotel was a standard business type hotel located in a mainly residential area of the city. A little run down area from the metro station to hotel and about 45 min to the old city. The bus stop is opposite to the hotel so it’s convienient if you want to take bus instead.

Considering the hotel is classed as 4 stars, the hotel seem quite bare with not many visitors. The drawback is that the rooms do not have tea/coffee making facilities which one would of expected for this class of hotel. The gym that they advertised was closed with no signage or details of when it’ll be opened.

Overall, clean hotel but not ideal for holiday stay.

Valencia was nice. Reception was horrible. No food allowed in hotel for hygiene reasons, but they have a minibar with snacks etc. as a diabetic that needs to have food available having to buy minibar snacks at night was ridiculous, never heard of that anywhere.

The fitness center which was one of the reasons we picked the hotel was closed. When we called reception to ask they said “you are calling reception” like who else would a guest call for an answer? Building services? There was no note on the door no mention, they just said under repair... the service was the most impolite we had in Spain by far. We were able to park on the street, didn’t get s ticket, I think it was free and looked safe and better than giving the hotel another dime, or 14 euro...

Room was ok, bed very very firm, and couldn’t open windows as they were locked so the pigeons wouldn’t come in... couldn’t control the heating system from the room so with the windows closed it was like a sauna...

We stayed in hotel for 8 nights and we were very welcome from the beginning. I like my cosy bed and room was clean every day.Also was very quiet and we had such a relaxing holiday. It wasn't bad, wasn't great. We paid quite a bit so I was expecting a lot more. The gym equipment was all very old and the chest press felt like it was going to break on us.

If you get a good deal the location is pretty good, but the staff weren't very good at recommending things to do in the city so you're on your own.

We had the most amazing time in Valencia, this was largely due to the friendly, efficient, polite and bilingual staff who work 24/7 to provide excellent customer service. The room was spacious and comfortable and the location was absolutely ideal. Thanks for the stay!

Arrived to check in at 12 as stated in booking, to be told to come back at 2pm by reception staff member. No reason given by rather unfriendly gentleman. Offer of a drink of some form would have been nice. The Hotel is fine , Transport on its doorstep.
Valencia is great . A mini Barcelona, but a lot cheaper. well worth a visit.

What should be a great hotel is badly in need of a refit. Changed rooms because air-con not working. Next room the same and then find it is not on until the summer!!! maybe June! reception nice temperature. Rooms unbearable. Bathroom plumbing terrible.
Location and staff good but the rooms need to be scrapped.

I was visiting Valencia with a friend, and we wanted a cheap stay without compromising too much on quality. We decided to get the Metro to the hotel to save money on a taxi fare, and admittedly we got a bit lost but that's purely because it was dark and we didn't have a decent map! It's not far from the airport (about 15 mins on the Metro). When we arrived we were very impressed - the reception area was opulent, all lifts were working, and our room was lovely and spacious. The bathroom was gorgeous, and we got lots of toiletries (including toothbrush and shaver kits which we werent expecting). The room was cleaned every day and toiletries replenished. We had a mini bar which was large enough to store our own bottled drinks to keep them cool. In terms of location, it's out of the city, but not too far to get in. We walked around the city a lot, and the beach was also within walking distance. The surrounding area of the hotel in one direction was not great, but as 2 girls on our own we still felt safe. There were lots of restaurants nearby to get good food. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on that. Overall we were very pleased and would recommend it.

Excellent location, about 15 minutes walk to the town centre and 10 minutes to the Port. Hotel is up to the expected 4* standard but is let down by no refreshments (coffee) after 6 o´clock in the evening unless you want to pay for room service. There is a minibar in the room but it only had expensive water in it. Car parking is available but we thought expensive at €14 per night. If visiting for the Fallas... be prepared to be awake until 3am and then again at 8am. We cannot begin to describe the noise here other than to say \"deafening\"!!! but this is all accross the city not the hotel! If you like fireworks - this is the place to be...Excellent...Just one big party... We didn´t see anyone drunk (although everyone was drinking) We didn´t see anyone fighting or creating a problem..Just really good fun. Well done Valencia.

The service on the most part here is terrible. We have been traveling through Spain for 5 weeks now and have had friendly, attentive and helpful staff in hotels. This is not one of those. It is clean and close to the aquarium. I wouldn't bother again.
