Gloriously different! Every minute detail had been thought of - the decor, the tea mugs, the magnifying mirrors - I could go on...! The rooms are a little small, but the location is slap bang in the middle of the action. The staff were also wonderful - thankyou Jorge for excellent restaurant recommendations :-)

The hotel has surpassed our expectations by all means. Beautifully restored historic building with wonderful details. Our room was so comfortable, clean, and nicey decorated. It is a terrific neighborhood, very central on a quiet street. There are various cafes and restaurants in the surrounding area. The hotel staff was excellent too. Given the quality of hotel and its surrounding, it felt like a bargain! Highly recommended.

This is a Marriott hotel and the first one we stayed in during our Spain visit. This was an expensive hotel but we still had to pay for everything - using the bikes, breakfast (which was just ok and expensive), water in the room (if you ran out of the small ones they gave you). Compared to the other properties we stayed at all of these things were free. I would probably not stay in a Marriott again in Europe if I have different options. Also we got a bottle of cava in all of the other hotels we booked through Expedia (even though we didn’t drink it) except for this hotel. The bedding was the best at this hotel.
Also the room was loud. We were in a room under the rooftop terrace and we could hear furniture being moved around at all times of the day.
We requested and paid more for a city view room and there was no city view in any of the rooms. The first room offered was on the first floor and faced out to the trash can s and bus lanes. So we ended up with an interior facing room which was quiet and much better. The room was nice.
Overall a very average experience and not comparable to the other Spainish hotels we stayed in. Marriott needs to look at their competition!

We loved staying here. Beautiful hotel with a nice little roof terrace with a pool. The staff were so lovely and helpful too helping with bike rental and restaurant recommendations. Really well located within walking distance to all the main sightseeing points in the historic centre and near to the metro line too to getting to and from the airport. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

I am going to put down random thoughts / comments as they spring up:
- refreshing ice-cold water served upon arrival, and that was really a great 1st impression when it
was 35C on the afternoon we arrived
-Friendly smiling male staff immediately stepped out to greet when we alighted the taxi ( flat rate Euro30 )
-We were in Room 409, rather smallish yet pleasant, quiet, clean and fresh-smelling
-A cosy boutique hotel with a small restaurant and a bar on the G/F before reaching the lifts
-Shower not at all powerful but good that shower cubicle was not leaking; drainage smooth but the metal plate is situated right in the middle of the cubicle floor so always stepping on it and the feeling is not hygienic enough
-Shampoo body wash conditioner in commercial bottles secured on the wall
-Jacuzzi in the tub; tub has ½ glass shield and with rain shower head
-Rain shower normal handheld shower in shower cubicle too
-Phone ( call #9 to front desk ) not working so we had to physically go down whenever we wanted to speak with the staff
-TV in room not working. Informed front desk on day 2 and then we were told the hotel was undergoing system upgrade, a thing nobody had alerted us when we checked in. As a result, we had complimentary breakfast as compensation the next day. Breakfast was typical of what is usually served in hotels , with eggs made to order

Great location, aesthetic and wonderful staff

From check in to check out our stay here was marvellous. The room decor is chic and considered, comfortable and stylish and the lobby is the same. Room a little smaller than ideal but has everything you need and plenty of natural light, cleaned to a high standard each day and top marks on the products/ eco friendly toiletries. The staff were fantastic and the food and drink was good. If you’re looking to sunbathe it’s annoying that they only have four loungers and the pool is small but does the job. There was a huge number of Americans taking ‘masters of the universe’ style business calls on the rooftop throughout our stay, as if that was an acceptable thing to do, but the Agua di Valencia’s are a great aid in tuning those out.

This hotel is amazing, 60 rooms which were full, but so quiet! The accommodation is lovely and it’s kept to a very high standard. The staff are amazing and so helpful, they tell you to treat it like your second home and it was, can’t compliment all the staff enough! This is my second time staying here and it just get’s better and better, I stayed 14 nights on my own and was looked after by everyone! All I can say to finish is stay here you won’t regret it( I may regret saying that though as it maybe more difficult for me to stay as it will be full)

The staff are attentive and very welcoming. The property and indeed the rooms are modern and tastefully decorated. The hotel is situated centrally and minutes from many bars and shops.
The air con in our room was faulty and whilst we let them know, it was not fixed.
The service can sometimes be slow upstairs on the roof teŕrace. Whilst they were again, very nice, the service was at times, painfully slow. Think they need more staff to cope.

The staff were amazing and created a great atmosphere! The breakfasts were amazing and the rooms cleaned to perfection and a great size and very quiet!

If k was to make one change it’s to have some slightly higher chairs tables in the restaurant/bar area, as I’m quite tall and found them a little low! Having said that it is very minor point and would have no reservations on recommending this property highly! I will be staying there again soon!

The pool was quite busy and a fairly small area but it was also the peak of summer, 40 degree heat and children on school break so would think that usually would not be such a problem. Other than that really can’t fault it, it was fantastic! Would highly recommend.

A really lovely hotel in a great location, which was available for us at short notice. We'd checked reviews and while the hotel sounded family-friendly, it wasn't brilliant for our young children - food options were pretty limited and the lovely hotel staff did say that they're not really set up for young families. I'd thoroughly recommend the hotel, but would say that it's really set up for older families / grown-ups.

Lovely hotel in the city of Valencia. Very friendly staff. The mini bar is lacking a bit - would expect more. Also.. the pillows are way too soft so we really didn’t sleep that good.. a bit sad as it’s a nice hotel.

Great location in the heart of the city. Lovely hotel. Staff very friendly, personable. Easy access in each direction to sights by walking or cab. Lots of shopping around the hotel but quiet inside the rooms. Wish they had tissues available in the room but suspect these were removed due to COVID. Additionally the “information” booklet about the hotel’s amenities was not available in the room. It took a full day to find the lovely bar, pool, tables and lounges on the roof deck. Overall, it was a wonderful visit. We will definitely return when visiting with family.

Beautiful hotel with big rooms and comfortable beds. Amazing big tv's and easy to hook up to iphone etc. They thought of all small details. Location was excellent, easy to walk anywhere or 10 mins to the beach in a taxi.
Rooftop was gorgeous just wish the pool was heated.
