Room with spartan furniture. Not enough chairs, drawers or tables to place your things. A very small window.
Common areas were worn out, showing stains on the floor. One elevator was not working while the other had faulty lights and was not in good condition.
Hotel front picture on Expedia is misleading. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel but great location, a block away from the City Hall and downtown attractions.

Noisy but to be fair there was an outdoor concert at the square which sounded like it was in the next room, therefore sound barrier quality of hotel terrible. Staff was nice. Also, don’t waste your money on a “deluxe balcony room” there is no balcony, if you believe you would like to sit out on a balcony at night and have a drink

My friend and I had an amazing stay!! The staff was welcoming and very helpful from start to finish. They can all speak lots of languages which is great.

The room itself was so lovely, the bed and pillows were so comfy (it was actually hard to leave the bed in the morning!).

The location was perfect - close to everything, walkable, the area was beautiful and so clean.

Only negative thing was the wifi which did not work very well but everything else was perfect!

A great older hotel with some quirky features.

Good:- The hotel is located in an excellent central location with attractions in all directions. There is a cool refreshing entrance to reception and the Air Con works well. The staff are very polite and helpful. It is clean and well maintained and has a good choice of breakfast fayre. The bed is very comfortable and there is a reassuring security safe in the room.

Bad:- There is very little storage space for clothing and we had to live out of suitcases. There are very few surfaces in general for placing things so stuff ends up on the floor. We could not get hot water from the shower on some days. The bed base is much bigger than the mattress causing us to bang our shins on occasion. There is no onsite bar or cafe but plenty of options nearby. No English language channels on the TV but luckily we took a Bluetooth speaker. The Wi-Fi signal doesn't reach the 3rd floor so we needed to go to reception for a better signal. Reception did offer to re-room us lower but I though this excessive so gave them a pass.

In general:- I apologise if this review reads more negative than positive because we really enjoyed our stay of 9 days.

Perfectly located hotel for a Valencian City trip

We stayed at Reina Victoria in Valencia with our children. It is perfectly located as its 500m from the train station and then right on the border into the busy streets of Old Valencia.

If I had to say one thing, it was that the TV was not great and it was hard to get it working. The kids just needed a couple of hours of rest time but we resorted to watching something on our phones.

The maître d at the front desk was incredibly helpful with recommendations and each place that he suggested was phenomenal! The room was clean, modern and cute and the bed was so comfortable. Loved the proximity to everything. The only bad thing is that we only spent one night here!!

Pros: The room was modern and big for European standards. Nice bathroom with great waterfall shower and pressure. Hotel is conveniently located, walking distance to all sites and restaurants. Overall, a good place to stay.

Cons: Courtyard view was basically the side of the building. Paid breakfast was good, nice selection, but hot food (eggs & bacon) were cold two days in a row. I informed staff the first day.

Great stay but bar closes very early

Really liked this hotel. Clean, central, comfortable. Great breakfast. Dropped a star because the bar closes at 21:30, along with the computer desk. So there's nowhere to work or get a drink after 21:30 if your partner or family have gone to sleep in the room and you need / want to stay up. Because of that, actually not sure we'd stay again.

Imagine a hotel that doesn't offer a washcloth, or have a box of facial tissues in the bathroom. Imagine a hotel room without a chest of drawers to unpack your luggage into. Here it is. When I asked for a low pillow made of feathers/down because of a neck problem I have, they wrote back that they will accomodate this request. When I arrived I pointed out they did not provide this, and they said they don't have one but would look for one at their other hotels. They never communicated with me further even though I continued asking for it. Never stay at this horrible place.

A great hotel in the center of Valencia, so ideal for viewing this wonderful city. The hotel has a cozy feeling to it and the room was comfortable, quiet and clean. The only downside to the room was lack of storage for clothes. There was a small wardrobe which had a single shelf above it, no drawer unit or additional shelves. The hotel has limited facilities, for example only serves breakfast no other meals and this area is used as a cafe/bar for a few hours late afternoon into the evening.

Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed this hotel as a base for our visit to Valencia.

WIFI does not exist

I have no complain about location or room size or cleanness of the room. Staffs are very efficient and friendly. All were perfect.

The big complaint was Hotel WIFI. WIFI SIMPLY DOESN'T EXIST. Especially this was part of the business trip so it was a big problem for me. You can only check email or simple stuff but the rest were in limbo. You see a lot of spinning wheel. Basically I used my own cell data to do zoom meeting and so on. I tried in breakfast floor but the same situation. How hard it is to make WIFI work. You are not in 3rd world country.

The second issue is hotel does not have lobby especially rated as 4 stars. There are 2 sofa with 1 table at the entrance before the reception. You cannot choose the hotel at meeting point. There is no room to hung around.

Location is brilliant. A few minutes walk to the main square, and easy to walk everywhere to see all the sights, and Colon metro station is close by. As it is so central it’s easy to pop back if needed to in the day.
The staff are really nice and helpful. The hotel only do breakfast as it’s a small hotel, but the shops and restaurants are so close by that’s not an issue.
The bus to the beach stops literally outside the main door and that takes about 20 minutes to get to the beach.
Bed was really comfortable.
Reasonable price hotel at great location.

The property location is excellent. However, a few disappointments considering it’s a 4 star rating -
. no drawers to put clothing or bits in room or bathroom
. no tea making facilities in room
. hot breakfast choice is poor - music too loud in breakfast room
. reception service inadequate usually only 1 staff member and unavailable for 5/10 mins at times and seem to only attend to one guest at a time whilst other guests are waiting and may just want brief advice or to ask a quick question
But individually George, Lucy and Meriana were very helpful to us - especially when we’d checked out, arrived at airport to find our 11am flight
cancelled! They were very kind in letting us return to the hotel with our luggage and use the lobby area to rest and stay until we departed again at 17.00hrs. Thank you, it was greatly appreciated.

I liked everything about this property. The staff was wonderful, friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and attractive. I liked the little balcony overlooking the street.

I was on a roadtrip, so where to park my car was a big concern. I had written the hotel in advance to make sure I would have parking. They sent me the address of the parking garage where they have an agreement and discounted parking, so I drove there directly.

When checking, in the hotel staff stamped my parking ticket for the discount, and I paid the cashier at the garage when departing. It was very easy.

We loved this hotel! From the outside to the inside, the rooms, and just overall quality of service this hotel was perfect! If offered a beautiful view of the city, the location is also amazing, and bedding was super comfortable! Highly recommend a stay here!
