I was here for two nights attending a concert nearby. I'd hever been to The Hague (Den Haag) before, but I really impressed - and this hotel located in a wonderful old building in the city centre was a real find. Gorgeous room, lovely staff and a perfect location.

Great location and wonderful service

The location was great as itis about 20 mins walk from the train station. There are plenty of eating and shopping places from the train to the hotel. It is also an easy walk to the Peace palace and other places of interest. We hopped on the bus from city center to the pier and a tram ride was all it took to get back. The stair case was really awesome and although we did not have coffee/tea - we were able to just go to reception for hot tea/coffee. Everyone at reception were friendly and very helpful.

Funny room layout but great service

Service was great, they changed breakfast start for me as i had an early checkout and needed to catch train at 7 am. Great stuff. The room was a little strange layout with the sink in the room and not able to hold water as the overflow was far to low in the sink, but really the service made up for it.

Very impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff; you were made to feel very welcome. The hotel building is wonderful from an architectural standpoint and many of the original features had been retained. My room was large and airy with big picture windows. Hotel and rooms were extremely clean; they have excellent housekeeping staff. Breakfast was very good. Overall, a most enjoyable stay.

Stunning brick building by H.P. Berlage from the 1890s however the room interiors are plain and modern. Excellent location, good air conditioning, comfortable bed and very nice breakfast. The bathrooms lack full privacy as they have swinging shutter doors and the bathroom windows are not insulated which lets in the plentiful street noise. Earplugs were provided next to the bed.

Historic building with access to tram lines and both RR stations. Rooms modern and clean. Multi-lingual staff was polite and attentive.. Also museums, historical gov't buildings nearby. Short train trip to Amsterdam for day trips . Numerous restaurants and clubs nearby. All in all a quieter and less expensive Amsterdam.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel building in an outstanding location. The room had huge windows and blackout curtains so you could enjoy both day and night. The windows were double paned to keep the room quiet from the road noises, but earplugs were also given. Shower and toilet seemed clean. Overall, amazing hotel especially for the price.

WiFi was poor connection in the room - I had to leave the room to be able to work. The advert for hotel said there was Netflix but the TV remote was unable to select episodes making it unable to be used - so there is no Netflix.

The hotel did not have our breakfast booking on the system, and a reservation is required, the staff made a point to tell us this before making space for us to have a breakfast which was included.

Newly renovated hotel in a heritage building with a grand central staircase - 20 minute walk from Den Haag Centraal. My room was facing the central square, a beautiful view with a daily concert at noon thanks the Carillion accros the square! Free room service for breakfast was definitely a plus. Loved the hotel and food and room and location, but almost every day the swipe card to enter my room didn't work, and I'd have to walk back do to reception to get it fixed, and I never once received any apology. And on my last day it happened three times, I walked back up and down the stairs, the last time becoming highly exacerbated. Still no apology. Great place, but poor service.

New and clean hotel. Exceptional. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed, simple modern and efficient design. The entrance was a bit hard to spot. In circled around the block 2-3 times to find the door. It is the small door of the big historic building between the Greek restaurant and the luggage shop. I walked from Den Haag Central station, dragging my suitcase down the brick-path for 20 mins. It would be a nice walk if you don’t have too much luggages. Actually a short taxi or Uber ride is better, which I did on my way back. Only 6euros. It was My room faces the patio dining of the bar restaurants. So I heard drunk people partying and talking loudly until 2am. Breakfast was very tasty and well managed. I will stay there again! It was a pleasant stay nonetheless.

New property on the block. 3 floors with modern rooms and very comfy beds. I stayed for one night - flew in on a late flight from Budapest and took the train to Den Haag.

The property accommodated my late check-in. Staff is warm, friendly and helpful. I slept like a baby. Well rested to catch my train to Antwerp. Thank you!!

Their breakfast room is super cute and the breakfast spread delicious! Lots of good options including a nice little salad 😋 (after being on the road for 30 days enjoying the rich cuisine of countries in Europe a fresh salad is so perfect).

The hotel location was great, right in the centre of town. The hotel room was small, with no real cupboards. There was no traditional bathroom in the room. The toilet was behind one door in the hotel room and the shower was behind another door in the hotel room (not together in one room). The wash basin was located in the hotel room. The hotel stairwell was spectacular (architecture designed) along with one room near the breakfast area (old wooden panelling with lead light windows). The breakfast was nice: choice of cereals, bread, cold meat, bacon, scrambled eggs, and pastries.

The staff were very attentive and provided exceptional service. Room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was quite nice with a variety of items; eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, croissants, fruit, juices and a great coffee selection. Location is perfect, walking distance from many sights and main shopping area. The only negative was the sound proofing of the rooms. Sounds from the main road permeates through the beautiful old structure and original windows, so if you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to sound this may be an issue. Other then that, it was perfect.

This recently opened hotel (December 2018) is housed in a historical building, once designed by the famous Dutch architect Berlage for an insurance company. The current house is carefully re-designed for hotel purposes. Situated in a pleasant part of Den Haag , and on a walking distance from everything. Nice staff and a very good atmosphere. Nice breakfast in a cosy room of course.I really recommend a stay at this place. It staying in Den Haag do it here!

Location is perfect. However, the rooms are very sterile and the handwash outside the toilet area in the rooms is not nice.
Very noisy in the early morning with slamming doors and alarms going off, from what seemed to be the cleaning room. We wrote to the Hotel regarding this, which they wouldnt recogniz.

Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage, ist in einem sehr schönen historischen Gebäude untergebracht und hat ausgesprochen freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Leider war unser Zimmer 308 Null(!!!!) schallisoliert. Man hörte sowohl die Geräusche vom Gang als auch, was deutlich nerviger war, vom Kirchplatz. Gehörschutz lag am Bett - das Problem ist offenkundig bekannt. Das Waschbecken im Zimmer ist einfach Quatsch, genauso wie die \"Saloon Schwingtür\" ins Bad. Die Lamellen des Rollos am Fenster des Bades waren zum Teil angekn9ickt, was es etwas schäbig aussehen ließ. Insgesamt sah der Blick Richtung Fenster allgemein nicht sonderlich ansehnlich aus. Der Blick aus dem Fenster hingegen schon.

Fazit. Für 2 Nächte und miteinander vertraute Personen in Ordnung, aber im Ergebnis kein \"must book again\".

Hotel com certa dificuldade p achar a placa do mesmo , no mapa do outro Ibis não achávamos , porém sua localização é boa p pontos turísticos , mas quarto achamos apertado p ibis styles ,e o elevador estragado subir no 2 andar com malas não é nada bom ! Café normal ! E no dia de ir embora vimos uma placa de free tour a pé , o que foi uma pena pq o bonde da cidade que faz nesta época só fdsemana! A recepção poderia ter informado !

Wederom een fijn verblijf gehad. Rustig kunnen werken op mijn kamer en thee kunnen halen in het restaurant, dat was fijn. Ontbijt was goed geregeld. The noisiest hotel I’ve ever slept in! My room was on 1st floor (ground floor being zero) and towards the street where a bar had the music blazing. I didn’t hear the music, but could feel the bass reverberating. What’s even worse, the hotel has been built in a very beautiful old house and my room door was in the stone staircase. I could hear everything people were saying outside my room as if they had been in the room. For example the drunken football team having a party night. I give the hotel two stars as the location is really central and on a Sunday night quite ok.

Hotel bem localizado. Quarto grande e bem iluminado. O café da manhã não estava incluído na nossa diária, mas pagamos a parte e era de muito boa qualidade, com pães maravilhosos, croissant, sucos, iogurtes, etc. O atendimento que recebemos também foi muito bom.
O ponto negativo foi a sinalização do Hotel. Estávamos de carro, colocamos o endereço do hotel, e chegando na rua não se via nenhuma placa indicando o estabelecimento. Muito difícil para localizar. Só mesmo estando na frente da porta, praticamente, para ver a singela placa indicativa. Diferente de outros hotéis, que tem uma sinalização melhor e mais ostensiva, facilitando para o turista, ainda mais quando se chega de carro.
No mais, tudo ótimo! Adoramos!

Mooi, karakteristiek prachtig hotel in centrum

Prachtig hotel in karakteristiek pand onder mooie architectuur gebouwd.(Berlage)
Niet teveel poespas, maar wel erg gunstig gelegen en netjes. Goed ontbijt en gastvrij.
