The room decor and furniture was excellent, the room very clean, maid first class . I've stayed in hotels for much more money which weren't any where the standard of this,only a slight criticism is the shower was a bit fidgety to balance between hot and cold, and maybe a bit of a touch up needed re decor to corridor walls and the lift, but don't let that put you off, superb value for money, quiet rooms and air con excellent also, I may even have a one bedroom next time,.!.. +

I was a little dubious upon arrival, but in a short time that dissipated. The hotel is quiet and they keep it very clean. The staff was totally awesome. I had to have them address a situation and they did so expediently. I would stay again.

Room was large. When you arrive in the evening it is dark and almost deserted.
Staff was polite and helpful. Changed things after the second night because of noise, there was a beer bar complex below the balcony.
Water temperature in the shower is not consistent, either too hot or cold, you have to constantly adjust the cold water.

I have always stayed at this hotel. Overall I can’t complain about minor issues as this you have to live with. But on the day of checkout the hotel wanted me or my friend to pay 500baht for pool towel which was missing from a room, obviously the cleaner has taken all towels and forgot to replace 1 of the pool towels back in the room. All rooms should have 2 Green pool towels, but on the 3rd night of stay the cleaner didn’t replace 1 of the towels in the room, and then claiming us to pay 500baht. Not acceptable and we didn’t pay as the mistake is from the cleaners side, as it’s a different cleaner everyday, wasted 30 mins of our time, when we had plans to have breakfast before our taxi arrives.

If you have 2 guest coming to your room even during the day for whatever reason you need to pay extra 500 baht for the 3d person to be able to enter your room. It’s ok, but it is not nice feeling when you need to pay for nothing. The cleaning is also 2 star quality.. they only change sheets and put new towels. They do not take any garbage away, do not clean the floors... if you have some sand on the floor or totally wet and dirty floor on the balcony it will stay exactly the same after the cleaning..I was there for more then a week and it was the same the whole week, not even ones they clean it.. also the water in the both room kept getting cold in less then a minute after you start it and you have to turn it off and start again for it to become hot again.. the location is pretty good.. very convenient.. the stuff is polite and nice... 3 star over all.. definitely could be better.. it’s ok.. I had good time..

The hotel room was a good size and clean. The bed was large and comfortable. You can't sit on the balcony as the air con unit pumps out hot air onto it. The staff were all very helpful and polite except for the lady boy in reception who was rude, both to me and others.

Lk royal wing is not as busy as others in this chain and does not have breakfast or restaurant on premise you have to use lk royal suite. Standard of rooms are greatcand a plus is the huge rooftop pool which is hardly used you can actually swim lenghts its clean and nice

The property was quiet. The room was clean and the maids were awesome. The furniture was worn and the exterior of the building needs a touch up. The rooftop pool was amazing. Close distance to various points of interest. The beach could be a 7 to 15 minute walk depending on your fitness level. Would definitely stay there again.

The front desk staff was ok. The housekeeper for my fro was always present and did a great job in keeping my room clean and stocked. The property needs some preventive maintenance I have a balcony suite and as I was sitting out there I could see large cracks in the stucco above. The area is quiet and overall I would stay here again.

Really good hotel stayed at a few LK’s and I really like this. The room was big and cleaned daily. Housekeeping was good. Good location really good pool and have access to the gym in the Royal Suite hotel.
The receptionist was amazing, had a leaking air con unit and they moved me straight away to another room.
Can’t fault them at all.

was a problem at check in as i made a mistake with the booking as i flew on the 14th arrived on the 15th and booked at 14th so arrived day late and they said they had cancelled and returned the money to expedia i said i paid for 14 night and the money was non refundable anyway after 20 minutes of negotiating they agreed and was able to check in to the room i specifically booked 5506 after that the stay was excellent

Affordable room, really like the kitchenette, roomy. Can get a bit noisy from nearby bars, only lukewarm water in the shower. Rainfall shower was leaking at hand-held valve and didn’t work very good. Housekeeping staff does a great job. Internet is intermittent and needs to be upgraded. Location is a plus - close to everything.

A very comfortable hotel, great location, convenient to restaurants, beach, bars, markets and so forth.
It is becoming a little tired in some of the service areas, however, it was a first class and expensive fit out when built and the quality still shows, should not require much effort to restore to its former glory.
I stay there or the sister hotel ( L K Royal Suites) whenever in Pattaya.

The hotel is usually quiet and off any main streets. The only noise is the late night football games and practices next door that can become a little loud. The cleaning staff are great. My only complaint is the faint smell of sewer gas in the bathroom.

The aircon was a bit noisy and the bed was not attached to the wall and squeaked. The cleanliness and comfort were very high. The pool was used a lot and was very clean an a great surprise. Its too deep for children but ideal for adults. The location was superb and everyone was friendly. Overall a great stay and I would recommend.

Hotel looked like pics online. Some items in room damaged but nothing to ruin the trip. And damage is due to lack if respect from other guests. Bed comfortable no noise in room air worked great. I didn't eat at hotel so can't comment on that. The staff was very helpful and always pleasant. Central location was great yo get around.

Great for the price, clean room with a surprisingly good shower (so often a problem in big hotels) good air-con, great blackout curtains, excellent rooftop pool. Friendly front desk & cleaning staff.
Very quiet hotel & location yet only a 50 metre walk to shops, bars, restaurants etc
One negative - mattress was so hard. Not ideal for those who sleep on their side or stomach.

The hotel is a little of the main road which is deceiving when you look it it up on the map.
Also the hotel front desk staff were un friendly at best you would be real lucky to get a hi or by even if you actively tried.
The best part of this old run down hotel is the the hotel room cleaning staff they were always very helpful and always very courteous always making sure you were ok and everything was up to standard they did nothing short of providing a perfect service which made up for the near useless front office staff.
The hotel was looking very tired as far as I was concerned and I personally will not stay at a LK hotel again there are far more better hotels for the same price that provide a welcome service.

So much Potential but lack of effort!

This LK Property's achilles heel is the staff. Not warm or customer oriented! no smiles upon entering the lobby, just stares every day for the 5 days I stayed.

Housekeeping/Cleaning etc Wonderful job! Aces all the way. Location Nice, near baht busses, and easy to walk 7 minute to Big C. If you are not sensitive to lack of staff interaction or acknowledgement then you should be fine here.

I'm however looking elsewhere!!! I was going to stay at the new LK President Property; however difficult to get across busy road, I will be staying there next time and just compensate in taxi fares.

It's a shame that this moderately aged hotel does not exhibit the same customer focus as the new property does.

Second time ive stayed here with about a 1.5year gap. Rooms r mouldy and the repair jobs are poor and easiky noticeable. I had a big ant problem in my room and had to also change my room once because the smell of the mould was bad. Toilets are good and clean. Wifi was good. Furniture was old and the sofa inside the room had loads of dirty stain marks on it. Mould and damp has overtaken this hotel

I changed from a much better hotel to this one because I wanted something more convenient. It's walking distance to where you need to be but the hotel itself was a major disappointment. This place made me feel really dirty and low rent. I just got a very dirty feel being here. Everything seems dingy, I can't explain it. It wasn't just my room, I booked two rooms side by side. Both had that dirty feel. From floor to ceiling was dingy. It has that public bathroom kind of dirty feel...like you'll go there to use it but you wouldn't touch anything. That's how I felt. It was ridiculous because I came from a very nice hotel. I've never written a hotel review prior to this.

Dangerous Pool Area

I really enjoyed the Deluxe room for it spaciousness and cleanliness, unfortunately I cannot say the same about the pool area. The pool is located on the top floor of the building and there are about 6 steep steps from the doorway to the pool deck. There is a small lip between the pool deck and the top step which proved to be very dangerous for a few our group of 10 men . One tripped on this lip and finished up at the bottom of the steps with 5 fractures to his wrist as well as many other cuts and bruises to his body. Two others hurried to help and both tripped on the same step. Fortunately only one
received a slight sprain to the ankle. In my opinion the whole pool area is extremely dangerous with very slippery tiles around the pool and steps and I would advise anyone staying at this hotel to not use this pool. Since this incident, they have put a few non slip strips on the steps as shown in the photo, but I think they should do more.

20 days at LK Royal Wing

Hotel staff not pleasant, they need to be trained or replaced.
Furniture very old and used some of it needs to be replaced.
We had to clean the floors and Kitchen as they were not to a clean standard.
Cockroaches in the bathroom and if you leave the door open they come into the room.

Overall stay was good, area close to all. Pool was nice. Kitchen has all you need to cook. Wifi good. If you clean your room and don't mind rude staff this is a good hotel.

The LK royal wing is one of 20 properties that this company runs in Pattaya. Each one is different both in price and quality.So pick your hotel with care.I stayed in the royal wing property which is a good quality three to 3.5 star venue.I treated myself to a room with a balcony which was more than adequate. I like this particular hotel because it has a lovely rooftop swimming pool.and it.s location is in a small quiet side road.The only bad factor is that it's a 100 m walk to an nearby company hotel for breakfast.

LK knows hospitality.

LK Royal Wing rates high again. Within walking distance of everything, including the beach, yet quietly situated off of Soi Boukao. Rooms are spotless and all staff are accommodating. Only drawback is the new soccer field across the street - they play well into the early morning hours (after midnight) and noise of the game filters to the hotel. Otherwise a great property.

When I requested a 3rd key I was refused on the grounds that 2 is maximum and when I asked them to call a cab to take me to a resort was informed that they only call cabs when travelling to Bangkok.
Room was not detailed to the normal standard on previous occasions.

I regularly stay in the LK Royal Suites on the main street but thought I would try the LK Wing as many people comment on the good roof top pool .
I was disappointed with a few things that could have been better
The furniture in room was dirty and scuff marks all over walls .
Shower floor very slippery and dangerous also big shower head not working . Shower temperature hard to stabilise .
Cockroaches in room for two days .
Only one large room ( studio ) rather than separate bedroom like the LK Suites
No draining board in kitchenette
Safe stopped working 3rd day took all night to replace
Overall a dissapointing stay compared to the LK Suites .

The hotel overall is acceptable, but the rooms are run down now and in need of refurbishing.the room are not cleaned great Either. cobwebs in the room, bathroom,ants in the kitchen area, and smashed lights on the balcony, and paint falling of the walls. The staff are ok, but dont go out their way to say hello when passing them, The pool is very good,and internet is good as well, However I will never understand why non of the LK hotels have a bar to buy drinks.7/11 is on the corner so its not a major issue. The Location is good if you know the area,but if its a first time pattaya maybe central would be better. overall the hotel is 2/3star at Max. Come on LK Bit of paint and more friendly staff and you will fill your hotels.

Most Enjoyable Stay

Loved this hotel just set back from Soi Buakhao. Exceptionally spacious throughout.Private, safe, quiet. Given complimentary upgrade. Very polite staff. Can walk to most places from hotel or take bhat bus / motorbike / taxi from nearby. Roof top swimming for residents.
