Staff were extremely rude and not accomodating, they failed to help with transport requests and area guidance.
Wifi is very poor and did not work most of the time.
Breakfast buffet had very little food left and when asked for more we were told they had nothing left at 9:30am

This classed as 4* i would rate it @ about 2.5*.
The reasons are as followed look carefully @ the room & you will see NO STORAGE PLACES only thing is a rail above safe with 6 hangers, so if your staying like i did for 3 weeks your clothes are all over the room....not good.... Even when ive stayed @ a 2* hotel/inn theres been storage. Next breakfast cost 300Bhat expecting full English but only had eggs they were terrible. Local cafes in Pattaya New Plaza 5 mins walk Full breakfast 125Bhat.... This is orianated for Indian coach parties staying couple days... I moved rooms due to there noisr by pool @ 3/4 am in the night..... Only good points Natasha on reception always helpful also staff around that area... Cleaning lady for 5th floor excellent... Outside the SECURITAS 2 men always friendly & polite.... Would i stay here again....... ....NEVER.......

Most of the time it was just impossible to use the downstairs pool area
They were told numerous times about going into the pool in their underwear so they would get out and undress there and then and wrap in a towel

Don't believe the pictures, not family friendly

We booked this hotel for 4 nights because it was in central location and the pictures looked great! Hotel ratings at hotel.com was also very positive. Unfortunately, when we got to the hotel, our experience was not that great.

During check-in: hotel staff did not have control. Guests during check-in were mostly Indian men with a few Chinese tourists. Guests were rude and staff did nothing about it. Don't bother getting in line as nobody will care.
We only found out that this hotel caters to single male Indian men looking for women so do not bring your family here. The Indian males will gawk at your family the entire time. I did not feel comfortable
here.

Room quality: Walked into the room and took off our shoes. Very bad idea as the floors were very dirty. you must keep your shoes on at all times or your feet will be very dirty. There were very few bathroom amenities so bring your own. The rooms are not sound proof so you will hear everything from the hallway. There were many people hanging out in the hallway at night so you will not get a good night sleep. Someone kept ringing our door bell at 2 am. There were ants in the room and we saw a very large RAT in the hall way.

Needless to say, we checked out the very next day and lost 3 nights. Hotel refused to refund our money and said we stole a slipper even though we did not touch anything so please avoid this hotel; very shady!

Overall, very bad hotel. Dirty rooms, rude guests, bad customer service. Avoid!

I saw a 4 star rating and thought this should be ok, only to find underwhelming overall conditions. Not to mention rats on the property regularly with ant trails in my room. I give it a 2 star rating at best.

This hotel was overrun with Indian tour groups looking for girls. The pictures of the hotel does not capture the what your in for. The staff were the best thing about the hotel. Excellent check in staff dealing with a complete cluster situation. I would not recommend the stay. Next time I will stay a bit further away from the madness and in better hotel. The beach is very average too. Nothing compared to other parts of Thailand.

The hotel takes large group bookings of single Indian men, who have no respect for other guests in the hotel, out of 2 weeks stay we were only able to sleep may be 3 nights without being woken up at 3 am to the sound of drunk men in the hall ways, spoke to managment about it that may be they could place a sign in the elevator or reception asking guests to respect other paying guests by reducing noise levels after 12 am, but managment did nothing about it, so if you want a good nights sleep avoid this hotel, as you wont get it, also dont ask for extra towels as you will get the third degree as to why you want extra towels. It is a shame becuase the hotel iteslf had good size rooms and clean and good location. just indiferent management.

Good value for the cost

This hotel could be a real gem if managed differently. The following are my own views and may not be those of all guests.
1.The check in was like a free for all with the reception area absolutely jam packed. Only one guy on reception for at least one hour of our wait. We arrived at 12:30pmwhich was before the 2:00pmstated .
2. The room was good and it was clean. However not one single drawer and just a rail as a wardrobe. Towels provided were old and badly worn but changed daily. The rooms were very noisy due to doors slamming almost every hour of the day. Beds were quite hard.
3. The staff were excellent everywhere.
4. The hotel caters for the Indian community and mostly males. They were everywhere in our building (3). They were very loud in the pool area.
5. There were 2 swimming pools but one on the roof didn't open while 11:00am, why? People were queuing to access daily.
6. The breakfast food was quite good value with plenty of choices. However the restaurant was too small creating access problems and a shortage of seats. It was uncomfortable. There was an obvious shortage of staff on at least 5 days of our stay. The area should be made bigger by adding an extension towards the swimming pool.
7. Wifi was good in 80% of the hotel but non existent at the roof swimming pool.
8. The drinks menu at the hotel was very cheap, only 50 Baht for a beer.
9. Basically I believe that the hotel had too many guests staying. However we didn't pay a fortune so it was quite good

As we say the first impression is a lasting impression. Unfortunately I arrived at 8.30am to a very busy reception and was told no room would be available till midday. The reason I booked this hotel is that they had a relaxed policy on early arrivals and would have no problem finding a room, even if only for a short time.I was extremely tired after a long journey and had to wait nearly four hours till a room became free. The first night I had little sleep due to the next room watching TV very loudly till 4am. I tried to use the pool the next day, only to find because it was in the centre of hotel, it was completely in shade and very overcrowded. The room was good with a nice walk in shower, but unfortunately no where to put your clothes, just a few hangers no cupboards no shelves, very poorly designed. So overall I cant see how this is a four star hotel, id say 2+ would be about right .

Staff were rude.Sent us to a pay phone outside the hotel to confirm a tour that we had booked. Breakfast was a joke with warm milk,warm juice , had to wait for eggs to be cooked for ages, did not replace plates or cutlery, Tables were not cleared for people to sit after last person,did not keep filling up food . I can not say how bad the breakfast experience was every day.The pool area was not cleaned until the following day e.g If people were to have food or a drink by the pool ,which is what you do , the glasses and plates were still there at midnight. I know this because this is what time we were arriving home and we spent most days by the pool so we could see what people were ordering. Pool towels were ordinary white bath towels that were old ,discoloured and so thin with stains all over them . Do not be fooled by the pictures of hotel as while we were there they had photos taken for the website and they used brand new towels,put up brand new umbrellas brought in plants and then after took them all away.So bad !!

I stayed here for it's quieter location but very easy 3 minute walk to the nightlife. The rooms are good . Try to go for the higher level poolside view ( even numbers) in block 1 if you want sunshine on your balcony in the morning. My only critism of the room was no drawer storage in any of the rooms I saw. There only a hanging rail.

This hotel is set in the end of a quite street that is not noisy and still close to beach road within walking distance. the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are like apartments as the kitchen and living room/tv are in the first section then you walk into the next section where your bed is then you continue and there is another section for your wardrobe then finally there is the bathroom with a separate shower and bath aswell as toilet.

The location is just walking distance to central. It was a little hard to find but overall we stayed in the first building. They have plenty of Indian tourist, that tends to give you a very uncomfortable feeling the way they look at you like a piece of meat. Not nice when you want to go and relax with family. But not all were like that. Breakfast was good , plenty of selection.

Big beds but the materials seem cheap. Pretty hard pillows. Had a large swimming pool that is used by a lot of people. The rooms a fairly bright with a balcony. Had to wait til around 5-6 pm each day for the room to be cleaned. Stayed an extra night but they tried to avoid cleaning the room for two days with the reason that they wouldn't clean it because it was a check in day. Brought in a beer to replace the bottle (exact same brand) I had the day before (before room was cleaned), but they stopped me and said that I couldn't do that and charged me for that one on check out day. I asked but couldn't extend check out beyond their very early 10:00 am check out time. Front desk staff seems cold and over worked.

Hotel within walking distance to nightlife, to a great shopping mall (CENTRAL FESTIVAL PATTAYA) or to the beach. Tuck tuck bus only 10baht. Change once or twice and you anywhere in Pattaya by tuck tuck. Made to measure suits very cheap and very good quality. Walking Street 20 minutes walking or take tuck tuck. Island of Kho Larn very beautiful with great beachs.

Clean friendly hotel in ideal location

This was the second time I have stayed at the Grand Bella and I will be returning there again in November this year. It is in a great location just off the main shopping road in central Pattaya, situated just up from the Memorial Hospital, meaning that it is close the main shopping mall and the nightlife of Soi 7 and Soi 8, a few minutes walk from Beach Road but just far enough away from the noise of the bars and the traffic. The perfect location.

The rooms (I have chosen the mid-range rooms with a pool view both times) are spacious, with great comfy beds and clean bed linen every day. The bathrooms are clean and have shower/bath facilities - I'd prefer a walk-in shower myself but the bathrooms here are good enough. They are also fairly well sound proofed from the noise of the pool and your neighbors and I have never had issues with noise at all - but its probably worth asking for a quiet room on an upper floor just to be on the safe side. The pool is fantastic - big, clean, with a central jacuzzi area, childrens pool and plenty of sunbeds, particularly on the upper deck. They have a great little gym, a sauna and the fruit milkshakes are amazing at the little poolside bar, for about £1.00 each. Even the poolside food is great!

I've always found the staff to be very polite (but then I am very polite to them!) despite their dealing with the constantly rude indian guests.

lovely hotel however was kept up a couple of nights by people shouting in corridors. Can get noisy from 3 until 5 in morn so if you want a good nights sleep this probably isn't the hotel for you. Had to go and knock on someone's door at 5.30 in morning after they'd be shouting since 3.30 they were a group of Indian lads and had to get reception out another night.

hotel fine but lots of noise from guests banging doors and from pool area.did not enjoy breakfast.

Good Hotel with a nice Pool close to amenities.

Generally very pleasant stay. Some Customers don't consider other guests and shout at each other in the corridors (which echo) early in the morning. Good choice at breakfast but can be a little hectic depending on the time.
