This hotel was the scariest experince I have had in a long time, we where greeted with rats the size of cat (no joke) right outside the reception area. The rom was ok intill we saw the aircondtion never been cleaned and the awful smell of cigarets. There was tons of noise 2-3am at night and we even got people outside the door knocking at 2 am for som maintance?

Run-down, very overpriced and full of tour groups who enjoy smoking and being rude. Rooms are worth 300B a night.
Checkout at 10am which was a good thing as you want to get out of there!
Hotel main entrance door held open with a concrete block: sign of a quality hotel…
Kettle in room was also rusty inside.
If you want a hotel similar to the Crystal Palace from Breaking Bad then you’ve come to the right place!

Tour group only more budget than star. over rated

Room, old linen, not thick curtains, very noisy at night guests as the market seemed to be more for bus tour groups. The food - nothing refilled on the trays after 8.30 - so choice dropped once you got there aftre that. Not nice food for the cost of the room and food. Over priced - copompared to the attached Grand Bella -- same price if prior booked but better value, better services - not rested, not suited for the older traveller - pictures looked good - reality was different. Linen worn, towels worn, bathroom old, bed like a rock. reception had two staff on check in - and a bus load arrived, departing was also long as there was a bus load checking out - again two staff.

Loud and noisy Indian group tours going in and out all day and night. Door slamming. Yelling at each other. No room insulation. Not for individual travelers.

Maid service is mainly tied up on quick turnover of rooms for the next group of package tours. Don't expect to go out in the morning and have your room ready when you return in the afternoon. The maids are still trying to take care of the tour groups' rooms. Individual travelers are ignored.

Ok for budget traveller

Overall stay was ok. Pattaya Beach, Central Festival, Walking Street, Pattaya Night Bazaar is about 10-15mins walking distance from the Hotel. Nearby to convenience store i.e. 7-Eleven. Rooms are clean, however the conditions of the room requires some renovation. The room wall is non-sound proof as you will hear lots of noises from the other rooms such as banging of doors, moving chairs, people talking & walking in the corridor, especially late in the night and early in the morning. Would not recommend this hotel for light-sleepers. Otherwise, it is good for budget travellers.

It was a nice stay and as the tour was unplanned so had a difficulty in booking the rooms. After booking the hotel rooms from Expedia, we got the keys after 3 hours, after that had a great time. Staffs were good and rooms were clean and hygienic.

The hotel does not meet the hype on the Internet.they put knew doors on the rooms to allow for key card entry, everything else is a bit run down, the bathroom was not of great comfort, good water pressure, but the shower was hand held, and would not reach the holder for hands free. The tub was an insert. That felt like you were going to step through it...they should post signs to keep other guests from being so noisy, or at least to respect other guests that are trying to sleep, both nights I was there, throngs of Indian guests were cavorting in the halls, when they could have done so in there rooms, partying in the halls till 4-5 in the morning is not my idea of a holiday, especially when I am paying for the room, it is not behavior I do, and I certainly don't want to stay where this is tolerated...aside from the negatives the breakfast was surprisingly good, offering a good variety, I did enjoy the Indian food as well..i would give this hotel a pass in the future.

Nice Modern Hotel

We booked a family room and arrived at 7am - we were given a room straight away to my surprise.
The room was very clean and all the staff were polite and professional. Nice clean swimming pool.
The hotel is in a good location just off 2nd Road , 6min walk to the beach and only 5min walk to the Nightlife.
Good choice of food offered and i find it very hard to fault this hotel

Dirty sheets, towels stinking corridors. The room and bathroom might as well be one. there is only a half door for the bathroom which does not have any ventilation. Basically all the bathroom smell remains in the room. The staff are rude especially at the reception. There are no facilities in the hotel. Even the morning buffet is cleared off exactly at 10.00 immaterial of you still dining. There are much better places with better more central location at a slightly higher price. I checked out a day earlier and booked myself into a much better hotel for a few hundred bhaths more.

my worst hotel experience in Thailand

It started with reception, staff were either rude, unhelpful or couldn't speak English... I've never seen such poor service..

Forget what it says on this website, the reality, there are no pools or second restaurant etc.. only massive construction day and half the night (of which we had a lovely view)

Washing/drying machine - broken down for the entire 5 days we stayed, 1 elevator broken for the 5 days (long waits to go up or down)

As for the food, it seems most of the guests come from India and the breakfast is designed for their tastes.... interesting but very oily.

There were some good points, room was very clean, the rooms are in good condition and the best point was the towel shape ate, it was the most amazing thing .... everyday a new animal, first a swan, then elephant and so on....

Overall this hotel is nowhere near a 40 dollar hotel, it is worth about 15 dollars a night Maximum.... it desperately needs some management to sort things out, way too disorderly for the price...

I should point out that the location is about 500 meters from the beach, and not all the staff were bad, some of them did seem to be trying...

Overall there are much better options in Pattya for the money

The hotel is reasonably priced for all providing you book on Internet walk in pay through the nose
Admitting the views aren't brilliant overall I found the staff and accommodation good.
The buffet breakfast and dinner were priced that unless you wished a different style of food
to be affordable for the budgeted holidayer.
The variety of food available would meet the needs of most people.
Well within walking distance to beach and most convinces.

Staying here is a big mistake!

There are so many people loitering in the lobby all day, in the evening harassing and grabbing female guests. There is no security to check on people there, lobby is more chaotic than a market.
Check-in process takes so long.
The hotel and rooms are not properly maintained, smell bad.
Internet connection is very bad.
No pool as advertised.
A place for transport scam artists.

I would not recommend this hotel, staff was very rude ,On checking I have been asked to sign at lest 4 to 5 papers. I have been to many hotels , Guest house and apartments so far , this was the first hotel I visited which has asked number of forms and sign them all. Very silly, Given peace o paper with cost of everything in room in case lost , broken or stained. Feel like I have booked cheep hostel which has rules for everything.

Construction noise from neighbour hood site made me annoying. No one speaks English properly.Only location was good.

Though, Breakfast was ok with verity of food.Thanks God I booked only for three days. After Three days , I moved to other service apartment with half cost and better service than this hotel and no need to sign childish forms .

Everything was comfortable but the Hotel room make up authorities is pathetic. They fight for small and irrelevant things. Make sure you check the quantity and quality of all the things mentioned in the checklist while check-in at Hotel. Hotel Rates are at par with the few of nearby Hotels in the vicinity some with better room ambiance. Should consider this Hotel but not under the construction period which is soon going to start in Mid July.

This is not a bad hotel but it seems to cater largely to package tours. They've got tons of staff at the check-in desk, but it seemed like 75% were wearing trainee badges and were totally incapable of helping guests that did not speak Thai (I speak English and a good deal of Russsian; most of the package tourists there were Russian speakers).

No way I'd go backed to Bella Express Pattaya

If your not Russian you won't get much service. Ants in the bathroom, leaking shower and the remodeljob was a joke. Internet costs $1.80 US per hr and I broke a cheap .25 cent glass and they charged my room $ 3.50. Everything was overpriced and the buffet was lousy. A few of the staff were o.k. but most spoke only Russian and Thai and very poor english. For the price I will never go back there again.

Lots of Russians and Indians which I found they have a different attitude from Australians.Very hard to to communicate with the Russians and I found them to be very arrogant.While I enjoyed my stay at the Bella Express, the one thing I noticed is that they supply tea and coffee making facilities but you still have to buy tea coffee and sugar which is no big deal, considering it only cost you a few dollars for a week supply.

Nice Hotel but the smell wasn't so good.

The hotel and the service was pretty good. The only problem was that there was a persistent rank smell. Not sure where it was coming from. It would go away when the maids cleaned up and then reappear a few hours later. Not sure if it was the location of the room or just the general location of the hotel.

単身宿泊、自分は気にしませんがパタヤデフォルトのアリさん在住、セントラルやソイブッカオに近いのでレンタカーやレンタルバイクを使うのにも便利。たまにインデアンがノイジーな時もありましたが、ランドリーサービスもありベッドメイキングのお姉さんも愛想よくいいホテルだと思います。

快適なホテル

ベラエクスプレスは既に5回以上利用しておりパタヤの常宿にしています。
ソンデウトラックの乗り合いタクシー？を駆使すれば主なスポットは楽に行けます。
周りには 100バーツの足裏マッサージ屋が点在し安上がりにマッサージを受けられます。朝食も種類が豊富です。人によっては3日で飽きるかもしれませんが。
非常に良いホテルだと思います。
が、ただ難点がひとつあります。宿泊客の７割くらいがインド人です。
日本のマナーと違う文化なのかうるさいしちょっと気になります。
インド人だらけが嫌でなけるばオススメです。
