Friendly helpful staff, very clean hotel easy walk to Beach. Just be aware soy7&8 have many bars open till 5:00 a.m. it can be very loud. I slept with ear plugs. I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again.

I give it top reccomendations, but they where renovating the rooms, at our floor so there was noice from 10am to 5pm.

I found some of the guest quite rude, also I got mistaken for being Thai from behind, 2 asian indian men knocked on my sons door 1005 on the 10th floor at 3Am one morning, because they had seen him with Thai girls, they asked him if they could join in, he were disgusted with them, one of the security men asked him if he had some spare money to buy food.

Not worth it!! Waste of money!! Stayed in the new wing, felt like a large concrete cell! Other dislikes!!

- Only bath towels provided (no hand towels etc)
- Breakfast only runs to 10:30 AM
- Staff didn't tell me that renovations were to happen on my floor, I had construction workers banging with a hammer in the room next door at 8am in the morning.

Terrible stay!! Won't stay here again!!

Wir durften nicht um 14 Uhr ins Zimmer sondern erst um 15 Uhr.. Zimmer Karte wurde nicht gefunden.. Die Reservierung wurde nicht gefunden.. Im Zimmer angekommen Doppelbett bestellt und es zwei singel Betten.. Dusche war verstopft so das Wasser sich im Badezimmer breit machte.. Dann war noch die air condition defekt..Über unseren Zimmer würde renoviert so das die Bohrmaschine fast bei uns im Zimmer war... Katastrophe.. Ist nicht weiter zu empfehlen 😣😣😣😣😣😣

Let me tell you this property is perfect for staying in Pattaya! Close to all the action and the hotel staff is top notch! They washed my suit in the washer and it was damaged beyond repair (these things happen) but to my surprise gave me a full refund on my suit!!! Unreal! Hotels never do this! Thank you Sunbeam! I will definitely be back!’ :)

Card machine doesn't work. Staff attitude was not good. Didn't want to give a receipt after paying. Bathroom was so small for a so call 4star hotel. No toothbrush provided. Room look old. It's more like a guesthouse.

The property is in the center of a busy area. Easy to walk to the beach. The front desk staff were friendly.

The issues:
The WiFi was unusable in the room.
The bigger issue was that someone else had received a key card to our room and opened it while we were inside changing. Good that we had also added the latch on so they couldn’t fully open it. The front desk called to check in and then when I stepped out of the room, I could not get back in as they had de activated our card as well. Was a bit of a hassle to go and reactivate it.

Good Points:
Rooms were big and there was a good amount of plug sockets. Lifts were good so no unnecessary waiting around. Good location. Good wifi. Swimming pool was nice. Staff were always pleasant and nice.

Bad Points:
Bad housekeeping. Room not properly cleaned on my arrival. Fridge was leaking. The porter called housekeeping from my room to tell them about it and they never came. Always had to ask for towels and toilet paper to be replaced because they'd never do it when they cleaned the room. Took them about 6 days to start getting it right. Must of been a different maid. Ants in bathroom, told housekeeping, nothing done. Toilet kept blocking up so had to call housekeeping (good job their number was on speed dial).
No complimentary shower gel. They have a 'Bath Foam' which is useless.
The mini bar had about 3-4 drinks in it. 2 bottles of water, 1 coke and something else. To make it worse my fridge didn't work properly it was useless for me.
The bed was so hard and it was on a tilt so that didn't help. I like a firm mattress but when you lay on your side and can feel it on your hip then that's not comfort to me.

Summary:
It's not the worst hotel in the world and it could just be that i got unlucky with my room BUT there's no way that this hotel is worth the money it's charging. I got a really good deal on it and i still think it was overpriced. I'll be going back to my usual hotel on Soi 8. Definitely better value for money than this place.

I had a great stay everything was made very easy from the moment i arrived greeted with a class of juice everything was taken car of paid for my stay got the key to my room and off we went no, i had some loud ppl next to me once i mentored it i was moved the next morning which made the rest of my stay all that much better plus i got better views than where i was to start with than u so much to everyone that made my stay a wonderful stay, i shall return agai.

Very close to central festival shopping mall
Clean and large room if you pay for the higher floor.

Breakfast buffet is better then most Asian hotels but don’t bother with the fri&sat buffet dinner. It will leave you disappointed in range and quality.
Also in room dining range is limited and ordinary but is available 24/7.

The good points far out weigh a couple of slightly negatives.

Extended our stay here twice.

Nice hotel close to the beach

This is the place i would recommend to anyone who need calm place in Pattaya. The building surrounds by pubs and bars, ofcourse, this is the heart of Pattaya City but no noise into my room. We’d got a great sleep during the stay. Only 1 mins walk to nearest 7/11, 5 mins walk to the beach and Central mall. Breakfast is also good. Only problem found is underground car park, the entrance is quite small, however, after i mentioned to the security guard, he keep the space on the ground floor for us. Will stay here again next time. :)

Relaxing Stay in a convenient location

Hotel is in soi 8,very near to Central Festival Shopping Mall and beach road.Plenty of place to eat around and close to nightlife. You can hear lot of noise from bars around till 1am in the night. Shouldn't bother much to people who are hear for party. Hotel is at a very convenient location. Rooms are bit on the darker side, bathroom was not that great, clean but gives an old look. Boutique wing is newly built so they might be more modern. But I stayed in the wing with windows since boutique wing has rooms with no windows. Breakfast was very good, wide choice and tasted nice. Hotel fitness facility is bare minimal , but ok for warming up. Swimming pool only looks good in picture. In reality you cant do much swimming as maximum depth is 1.4m and length is quiet small in which you can actually swim. Its ok for pool bar, lying under the sun or for kids playing in the pool, but not a great pool for swimming. Wifi is fairly ok. Lifts are sufficient and work well. Rooms are cleaned everyday.Lighting in room could have been improved, difficult to read with all lights on.Bathroom is quiet small, and only hand shower provided keeps on swinging to the wrong direction, so makes it difficult to have easy shower.There was no rainfall shower head. Decent stay for the price you pay. Only cons would be swimming pool, bad lighting , and small bathroom. Pros would be it's location , room cleanliness, breakfast. Hotel lobby is nice,security guys very helpful and greet you everytime you come.

Central Location, Convenience, and Quietness

The hotel is centrally located, within only a few minutes' walk from the beach. It is inside a highly lively area, convenient for anything related to living and entertainment. Nevertheless, its building is well insulated for sound, and we can rest well in the quiet room.

Finally on 4th day they came a put my own router in my room . 2nd thing I booked a suite and the first night I had a conjoining room with sink not in the bathroom . 3rd thing Loud Hammering all morning and day . Where do I start?
Dirty washroom, Poor wifi connection. Poor customer service overall.

Staff asked for money for in-room meal purchase. Paid them with generous tip in front of 7 of us in the room. To my shock, I found out they pocketed the money and made me pay again when checking out. Management refused to believe our side of the story. Had to pay the food as I was in a hurry to catch my flight instead of calling cops.

Had a very pleasant stay here. All staff were very nice. We were in the boutique building in a beautiful modern room. The only drawbacks we had were that the wifi kept cutting out, pool bar expensive and the air conditioning in the gym didn't work properly. Very small things but the rest was just fine. Would I go back to the sunbeam?? Yes without even thinking twice about it.

Old, dirty rooms!

Upon my check-in, the first room I was put did smell cigarette. They changed my room. the new room didn't have the smell but the furniture inside felt like they were purchased from garage sale or second hand shop; had so many marks on them.

Secondly, they close the pool at 7 PM! That's way too early!

Third, I went to the \"gym\" nearly all equipment was like 20 years old; electronic ones were not even working. What's the point of it, if you can't use them?

Plus they had the renovation all day long, which was quite noisy! In my opinion, if you are going to renovate, it should be done on the entire floor and guests should be allocated to other levels in such way that noise should be minimised. I have stayed at other hotels, where they were also renovating and I didn't find them that noisy.

Nice hotel conveniently situated for everything

Stayed at this hotels several times over the past 12 years. It is very comfortable and handy. This time our room, 4th floor front, was badly affected by late night/early hours noise from nearby bars.

Breakfast has deteriorated in this hotel. Very limited choice. Although staff are very friendly, service is slow and poor. Tables are left dirty for long periods after use while some staff stand chatting in quiet corners.

Rooms are looking tired now and need renovating.

We had an accident in our room that resulted in a broken drinking tumbler/glass. We reported this to reception and were told that 150 Baht would be taken from the deposit that was held until we checked out. We accidentally found identical glasses at a nearby store for 23 Baht so bought one and replaced the broken one. They still tried to charge us 150 Baht when leaving.

Hotel for party animals only

Situated in party district and surrounded by 24hrs extremely loud bars and massages. The hotel is old rusty and not the greatest condition. The property is extremely poorly managed and staff don't know English well. The breakfast buffet isn't that tasty and while in your room you will be awoken and disturbed every 10 minutes with a loud ringing phone in the hallway meant for staff.
Stay away / unless you were just going to party like crazy, you won't notice it.

Staff is rude. During the check out, the staff talk to us very rude and raise her voice. When we get back the deposit she requested us to sign acknowledgement form. She looked at the wrong signature and said my friend signature is wrong and my friend point it out to her instead of apologizing she look irritated.

it was a great hotel a nice and comfortable stay with all the local amenities near by such as for shopping Central World was a minute walk from the hotel and Night life was just a door step away from the hotel.

The only thing was a bit annoying was that I booked a hotel room with a friend and for a third person to join in was 1000 BAHT charge which was not fair.

great price for great location

in the heartbeat of pattaya city, which allows you to walk to most everything you need. the boutique wing is a bit older with no terrace, yet very comfortable. humidity is high so no one would even be out on their balcony to sit. nice pool area. friendly staff with nice breakfast. felt safe and secure in an older hotel with great upkeep. spent one night off a cruise ship that was docked an hour away, so this was perfect night stay.

Frustrating stay. We had no idea that we would be in middle of bad neighbourhood and had to walk through there to get to the beach. Very noisy as room above loud-music bars. Nice room, comfortable bed. Hotel had to give us room change to give workable Internet wifi. Also smoking had previously taken place in no-smoking room.

Just an OK Hotel

My checking in was a little bit in confuse from the Hotel Manager as I was being told that my reservation was in the Wing Side of the hotel as in fact it should have been in the main Side (Superior Room) and that was rectified after my challenged. (Bring a copy of the itinerary on check in). The Hotel is close to Shopping Complex, beach, 7/11, massages, baht bus, beer bars and restaurants. The restaurant for breakfast is OK, going early is an advantage as it get closer to closing time 10:00 lack of replenishment to some items. I miss the first Breakfast as the contents book in the room showing 11:00 hours instead of 10:00 hours. I was originally on the 5th Floor which was noisy until about 2 A.M, was transferred to the 9th Floor which was a little bit better. The Superior Room is fine with OK furniture and was serviced daily. Nice location, friendly staff, excellent service

We got off at 4:30 am, front desk requested breakfast boxes for us. It is so nice. Breakfast has many many choices, chinese, Japanese, American,Thai, Indian, yummy!
