I can’t make a single complaint about this hotel. Great location. Came for one night stayed for three. Staff are as sweet as can be. Room was super clean. I sprung for the deluxe Seaview room and highly recommend it. OK I’ll complain about two things: on extending the room, staff pointed me to book it online as it was much cheaper. I always find that a little bit silly. Breakfast is decent but nothing fantastic on the other hand it’s only. $3US

250 meters to the beach and a baht bus and ferry to Ko Larn. Would definitely recommend. A clean 3 star hotel.

Les chambres sentent très mauvais et humides. C’est la première fois que je voie qu’un hôtel de cette catégorie ne fournie pas de Kleenex dans les chambres. Les dames de ménage sont très gentilles. L’Internet est un triple zéro, pas vite du tout , débarquait tout le temps, il faut reconnecter sans arrêt

The property old evry singl front door in romms are too noise. People correlations like inside my room.
Road from the hotel to sea is very tight and noise. You are waking with cars, motobikes and peple on the strit.
Highly not recommend to stay there.
I cancel my stay second night.

This was our second stay at the Sunshine Hotel and Residence and the whole experience was fantastic both time. The Hotel has one of the best location in Pattaya City Soi 8. The staff are the stars of the Hotel, the nicest, friendliest, hard working staff you will come across. Highly recommend a stay.

I stayed at this hotel for 20 nights. Even though the hotel is old, it is clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate, although there were many restaurants in the area, the noise didn't bother me at least. The hotel was within walking distance of almost everything. The beach is close and there are many restaurants nearby. I can recommend the hotel, especially for solo travelers. I will definitely return to this hotel again. A big thank you to the staff at the reception, you made my holiday unforgettable.

We had a beautiful room at the back of the property, but I can imagine that the rooms at the front might be a bit noisy at night with bars nearby. The buffet breakfast is amazing, with food for all tastes, including freshly made omelettes. The hotel staff is accommodating and very friendly. The hotel has 3 swimming pools, but we found the ground-floor one to be the best, with great cocktails and a happy hour deal between 2 and 4 PM.

Generally a positive experience here, but a rough start. Staff is positive and very attentive. However, first impressions of the property leave you concerned (explained below). I booked the ocean view room, which was more of a \"roof top and some ocean view\", but a decent view none the less. The breakfast had alot to offer which was great, they could improve on quality of coffee, maybe include the option of espresso. The main floor pool and general area is quite nice. Ok, so the bad vibe at the beginning explaing: (1) The elevator servicing my tower is not clean and in bad repair. Walking to that box to start things off makes you really concerned about where you are going and what place you have picked. The rug is beaten up, paint and scratches everywhere, dirty and smelly. (2) After getting all unpacked, I lay down in my clean looking bed I quickly discovered a strong foul smell! Pure rot. Made me jump out of bed like the bed was on fire kind of smell! I pulled off the clean sheet to discover a very urine stained mattress cover! Housekeeping responded quickly and replaced everything, but unfortunately the offending liquid had made it's way through the mattress cover into the mattress and it was still too stinky. I am not sure how this could have been missed by housekeeping! Anyhow, as noted earlier, the front desk people are very positive and supportive and gave me three excellent options of alternate rooms to choose from. All was good from that point on. Thanks!

The Sunshine Hotel and Residences is a good clean and affordable hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are plenty of place to get a drink or food. Beach is only a few minutes walk from the hotel and transport is available. Close to markets and a 7/11 across the road. Have stayed several times and will be back.

Gave this property a star because the staff was very helpful and understanding. AVOID this hotel at all costs. Especially if you have children. This is a hub for things you do not want to see. A LOT of prostitution and men in search of them. Your room provides condoms next to the nightstand and there are women waiting for their rooms with their buyers. Orbitz should really not promote this property and the rating is not 3 stars. It’s 1 at best and only because the staff are so nice and understanding when we immediately decided not to stay and booked at The Marriott North in a friendly neighborhood next to Terminal 21 Mall.

After I originally booked the property I was informed

extensive renovations were under way but would be

finished by 31st August, 2024. I arrived in early October

after the cut off date for a cancellation refund.

The renovations were still ongoing but I was informed

they would finish the next day. They continued

throughout my entire stay. They were supposed to start

at 10.00 a.m. but started earlier.

Hotel staff tried to blame the booking agent.

I ended up at this place because I was staying at “the weekend Pattaya” Down the street and it was horrible.
so I left that place and still paid for that night and came over here and it’s been amazing. The staff is friendly. The doors work elevators are fast fast.

Ive stayed at sunshine 90 times now and its my go to place every tume i am in pattaya, easy access to beach road and second road with a 7/11 infront, central festival next door.
Staff are the best and the hotel very clean.
