Room was clean, but tired, and it was a superior, one, so I am not sure what the standard would be like! Also it was cold, and adjusting the heating control didn't seem to make any difference to the temperature . Staff friendly and helpful.
The swimming pool, is small and cold, and the female changing room floor was flooded with water., when I visited. Which was probably an accident zone in the making. The restaurant menu looked varied and reasonably priced.
However, unless there was no where else, I doubt I would stay again. Which is a shame.

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed at.
Staff are fantastic - so helpful and friendly.
I had a problem with my shower flooding. Maintenance tried to fix it but couldn't so I was immediately given a new room. I was even offered a staff member to help me move.
There is a gym, a pool and a snooker room. Bar is well staffed with a good range of beverages. Prices are not unreasonable for a hotel and service is very good. Bar food is also available.
Restaurant food is good and wait staff helpful. Prices are reasonable for a hotel of this size.
Breakfast is buffet style. Food kept hot and refreshed regularly. Plenty of options, full English or continental or a mix of both (I like to have a bit of both) so something for everyone.
I was staying for a car show at the NEC and the hotel is conveniently located for this venue.
I needed cabs to get me there and back the cost was around £10 each way. However it is walkable via a back route it takes around 10 to 15 minutes depending on your pace.
I have stayed at this hotel before and will happily stay at the Arden again.

The outside of the building and lobby look nice. The room was decent enough but the bathroom let the room down though. Having to turn and sit at an angle cause the towel rack is in front of toilet wasn’t great plus the fan leg was broken causing the fan to keep falling over so gave up using it. Also they do not have an airport shuttle and if you order a taxi you need to meet it away from the property or you’ll get a £5 fee.
But my biggest issue is with the person responding to online messages and their lack of customer service skills.
Won’t stay here again, too many other better hotels with friendlier staff.

I stay one night at the hotel. The hotel bedroom is well present with most amenities, I would expect to see in similar accommodation.

We’ve stayed here 3 times now and we love our stay but unfortunately the breakfast this morning wasn’t the best and very slow , everything had gone and waited a while before it was replenished and we had to go as we was attending the nec so we left hungry.
Tea was warm and the juice had run out. And pastries were hard. Very disappointing.

Staff were brilliant room clean and tidy and the food was good but noise in the night was a big problem doors slamming all through the night there must of been a party there as there was a lot of people dressed up and heading to one of the function rooms could still hear them going back to they're rooms at 3.30 in the morning not even trying to be quite.
We have stayed at this hotel several times because of its location and have had an overall good experience

Unfortunately we did not have breakfast or use the leasure facilities so cannot comment on these but I definitely want to book again and try these. I have stayed here for over 20 years with work and the rooms for the past 3 years have got colder and today was the worst. Check in 3pm. No heating until 8pm. It was freezing we sat with coats on until we went out and to say it was £100 per night without breakfast it was the worst hotel this week I stayed in and this was my third of the week Needless to say dissatisfied disappointed.

Hotel is a little tired if Im honest however as far as my stay went i could fault it. We stayed for a concert at BP Pulse Live which is super close (10min walk although we got lost!). Twin room with breakfast £180. Checkin staff v nice and helpful. Bar and spa staff same. Spa is small but when i was there wasnt packed so fine. One thing thats a bonus is parking is included so if youre umming and ahhing about cost of driving or staying over, you will save a lot of money and hassle (getting off the venue site after events) by staying over. All in all a good stay. Its never going to set the world on fire but good price, location and amenities is a winner.

Very good staff, we were overcharged twice when ordering dinner and breakfast, all honest mistakes which to be fair we missed. On both occasions the staff came back to us, apologised and immediately refunded us. For the price the hotel offered everything you’d need for either visiting the NEC or staying before a flight from Birmingham.

Room was freezing ..had no heating …if u wanted a bath u had to stand up everytime to use the body cleaning products .. found it very unsafe and also having mobility issues didn’t help the situation…alarm went off in middle of night without warning…had to ask for another blanket as they were very thin and would not have kept me and my grandson warm … the pool was freezing cold …and the room smelt of gone off milk .. carpet was filthy ..

We stayed just 1 night and made use of the Pool, Steam and Sauna.
We didn't eat or drink in the hotel.

The hotel was clean and check in was very efficient.
Ample parking and after check out at 11:00 you could keep using the car park until 14:00, so the 5 minute walk to the shops at Resort World from the hotel was a bonus.

Pool was small but very well looked after, at 15:00 on a Saturday the steam rom and suna were not busy.
I didnt use the gym but it looked well equiped and again well laid out and very clean.

A constantly screaming baby broke the very relaxing atmosphere pool side that went on for over 20 minutes and the mother who seemed oblivious to the disturbance that she was causing. As a society we can only hope that she doesnt have a second child!

Great hotel and I would recommend.

The beds were super comfy, the leisure facilities were relaxing and lovely, the staff helpful and super easy to get to the BP pulse (5 minute walk).
